Sonic & Tails' SONIC GAMES Tier List

hey there inventors it's Tails here and today I'm gonna be ranking Sonic games on tear maker with my good buddy Sonic how's it going Sonic it's going good buddy thanks for having me back it's always good to have you on the channel I'm always happy to be here so we're ranking games huh yeah your games it'd be interesting I wonder how uh this is gonna go so with the classic Sonic one well it's a classic It's gotta be at least an a tier gotta be at least an a at least yeah I have some great memories playing this it's a wonderful game is what got the franchise started it's just fun it's good it still holds up now yeah it's a simple yet still kind of challenging game all right I think that's fair and of course we have Sonic the Hedgehog 2. put that bad boy in s chair because it's got you and me is where we met Sonic yeah it's the day that I met my best friend also with the movie hype movie hype exactly you know you know gotta put it in this well if you're gonna talk about movie hype maybe the next one should go pretty high up too oh here we go guys so there's Sonic 3 as well so hmm Sonic 3 it was a good game we're gonna put that in s I'd say yes it was a really good game yeah I do feel like two and three definitely were better than the first I agree I agree it progressed more in story and character development and more characters involved as well the last one was just so Sonic Robotnik and now it's Sonic Tails Knuckles and Eggman now he's known as Eggman rather than Robotnik a little more fun yeah I mean I'm pretty happy with this ranking I agree I'm with you all right so we now have Sonic CD Sonic CD was okay I wouldn't say it's as good as the last three I would put it in a c or a B what do you think C or B well you know this is also the game that introduced Amy you know Amy yes each year that makes you put it in C I'm kidding I'm kidding what do you think Tails also Metal Sonic was a pretty good rival as well so it is quite a good rival yeah yep I'd say B all right let's put it in B also we wouldn't have the amazing Sonic OVA if uh we never got Metal Sonic so so you know there's that it's a good point we're going with B all right okay B we're going for B all right so the first of the 3D games Sonic Adventure now Sonic Adventure I have a little soft spot for I know the acting was bad and it was a little bit of a mess and hard to like figure out what to do at certain points but I really liked it yeah and that soundtrack open your heart is a banger yeah that was a banger it is a banger yeah I would want it in a but I could see it being in B the problem with this game is having to play as big yeah you remember that time Amy made me play all the big levels as punishment and you deserved it it was horrible yeah it was horrible you didn't she shouldn't have made you play that much yeah I think unfortunately that has to bring it down to a c just because of the big big you ruined this sorry big nobody wants to play a Sonic game and fish no one was ready for that big was fine to blame Heroes but not an adventure no no no I'm sorry Fanboys trust me this game is it's very nostalgic but there are better games I love it I think it's one of my favorites but there are better games story wise is one of the better ones for sure yeah of course we need to remaster of this so bad oh my God could you imagine that would be so cool I'd also like to see to call again Sega if you're thinking about it if you need the Sonic and the Tails I know you've already got one but yeah just in case you know you want to make a bit of business anyway moving on to Sonic Adventure 2 which introduced everyone's favorite Edge alert differences aside about how I feel about him Sonic Adventure 2 was amazing the Sonic Adventure 2 also has one of the best songs of all time hey guys live and learn I'd say a I wouldn't say quite s but it's it's nearly there I'd say it's an a yeah yeah and as much as I love my plane I kind of miss you know big Tails gameplay from the first Adventure you're in a robot the whole time yeah it's okay there's kind of a little like too much shooting for a Sonic game there wasn't enough emphasis on you using your Tails like most games involving you is like okay use your flying ability because that's your thing but in two it was just like I'm in a big robot with missiles it's not quite there yeah but story wise I think Sonic Adventure 2 is great oh I agree a really great introduction says Shadow and ruse so now we're looking at Sonic Advance which was on the Game Boy Advance of course it was pretty good for a for a portable game I would say C perhaps yeah I put it in see uh not the best game but not the worst but it was cool because you could play his team Sonic and Amy so that was cool and it did have a little Chow Garden yeah I mean the Chow Garden was a nice touch we've also got Sonic Advance 2 here which introduce green it was nice to have cream in the game so you know I I put that at B it was a little bit more unique showing off some more characters yeah you know it's finally cool to have another girl on team Sonic also Sonic Advance 2 was a little bit more challenging as well which I liked yeah it was definitely the better version of the original it was more challenging therefore it gave you more of an incentive and it was more fun just a better game Amy was a secret character that you could unlock as well so you know she was still in it that's true and then we have Sonic Advance 3 which a lot of people say is their favorite of the advanced series and it's kind of a forgotten gem I think that was an a chair game it was two but it gave you so much more you know it had a lot of mechanics as well really did depending on your team yeah depending on who you had partnered up like I could be super strong if I teamed up with Knuckles yeah exactly it was an interesting mechanic to be able to mix and match and find the perfect team that works for you as a player for example I would help everybody have extra flight and Sonic would help everyone have extra speed exactly and if Sonic teamed up with Amy they'd be uh the lovely couple whoop oh you had to bring it up didn't you I mean you look so happy to be there Sonic yeah exhilarated exhilarated indeed but you know what ours is Sonic unbreakable Bond yeah you and Knuckles are fighting buddies that's kind of accurate that's because he always wants to fight and I'm like really he's not as grumpy as he used to be but back then he was still a bit of a grimp no he's definitely a lot more chill now that the Master Emerald isn't in general these days unless the sneaky bat is around as he says yeah but he's also got Shadow watching out for it and he's on her team so I'm pretty sure he knows what she's up to most of the time alright so next we have Sonic Heroes oh speaking of teams hmm Sonic Heroes well the thing is there are some levels in this game that are kind of annoying very annoying you ever played the chaotics oh yeah I don't envy I know charmy's playing that with vector and Espio right now yeah yeah yeah I I watched Charmy Espio and Vector play that and oh most of them are pretty upbeat but Espio sounded like he just didn't want to be there yeah it could be a little bit frustrating I mean our stages are the most fun yeah but then it gets kind of annoying having to play through each stage again with each team chaotics were kind of annoying in that game but I do like the variation of characters that you can play as that's where it's good and the music is really good in that game too it is I can't see myself going above a sea no okay let's put it in C uh just because it can be a little bit repetitive yeah I tend to agree here we go I Am All of Me he's here I'm kidding I'm kidding it's not that bad I think it's a little bit harsh we can put it in indeed like instead of the Hedgehog it tried to do something different but like he was just too too edgy like the whole should I be good should I be evil no yeah I don't know it's but it does have a really good soundtrack I will give it that that's why it's D and not an e we've also got the meme find the computer room that was pretty good thanks I'm working on my Vector you've been working on your vector well anyway uh let's just say d sorry guys we all know it's a bit of a terrible game it could have been it could have been better it could have been way better alright so speaking of terrible games do we even need to discuss this e we don't need to talk anymore about this game we don't need to talk about what happens in the game we don't need to talk about who the who the heroine is in the game we don't need to talk about Who Sonic has to save and nothing like that we don't need to talk about a moment that I was dead and nothing happened because I was I was even alive Tails back me up here I wasn't even alive didn't even know about it yeah okay Sonic are you are you okay [Music] um breathing okay sonico 6 never happened never happened no no no no no no no no no it never happened all right thanks buddy anyway let's move along all right this is actually a decent game Sonic Rush which introduced Blaze Sonic Rush is good yeah B yeah let's put it in B okay I would say so we gave blaze a chance to shine she deserves the chance to shine after those those six never happened so yeah and also like you did have to play through Sonic and Blaze twice but since it was only two characters it wasn't as bad yeah it's not like an adventure where you have to play several characters in long successions and fish and fish it's just two characters that's fine I can handle that soundtrack's really good and also just the boss fights are so fun in that game yeah very unique yeah unique boss fights I like I like that I like something a little different Sega can we play as Blaze more please like please yeah can we give give playset silver a little bit more love please and next time you make a game like uh Team Sonic Racing for instance if you're gonna have Vector make sure to have the rest of the chaotix how about you could put Marine in silver and Blaze's team that's what the fans do there you go cause Maureen who is in Sonic Rush Adventure she kind of is also forgotten about I didn't really like this one as much as the first uh I probably put it in C but it was a okay see yeah Eggman just kind of sucks and is disappointing so it kind of makes me want to do that yeah you got a good point to introduce a new enemy and make it like boring didn't really work out yeah Eggman nugget you're making this a d yeah good job okay uh let's see Sonic and the Secret Rings it's uh [Music] are we just a green in his D it's just kind of I hated the Wii controls I don't think I'm made for the Wii okay I just don't think the game involving the fastest thing alive is very useful using Wii mechanics I don't think it works you need a controller another Wii game Sonic in the Black Knight We're Gonna Leave This in D as well again I'd have to D that up yeah I will say though the main theme song oh it's so good it is so good it was banging and it has some really nice story touches but I like the idea of it but it came across too corny and then it was just too glitchy to play that Dragon we fight a shadow was ridiculous he did like this chin thing you can't avoid that thing I don't know what to do it's just I got angry anyway uh what do you think about Sonic Unleashed I put that up as B to be honest I was surprised on how good it was in the sense of gameplay like the movement and everything it was actually quite solid yeah it's a shame about the Werehog levels which could probably put it in C yeah I agree the Werehog brings it down but the actual gameplay itself wasn't bad they worked better on the actual gameplay yeah and you know the acting was really good in that game it was much better especially like Sonic and chimps actors they were great they were great a lot of people found chip annoying though why he sounds great he sounds great but a lot of people found him irritating dating also you and Amy have a little cute moment in that game too yeah yeah anyway moving on Sonic Colors which was the new generation this is where Roger took over Sonic I would maybe put it in B yeah I'd say B solid gameplay good graphics good voice acting good music not much more you can say about it really yeah yeah and one of my favorite Sonic Generations I'm tempted to put it in s to be honest with you uh yeah I think that's definitely an S is one of the best Sonic games we've had in a long time it is my second favorite what would your first be Sonic 2 no oh we're not there yet okay nope we're not there yet I think I know what it's gonna be uh Sonic Lost World so that last word was not very good I just I just don't like it it's not as bad as o6 but it's definitely not yeah it's a d I don't care for the zetty either I I really don't so uh Sonic Mania there's my favorite game of all time s oh that's an easy S I mean Sonic Mania was just it's amazing I love the shorts too uh we got to play as mighty and Rey as well the original style of gameplay brought the Nostalgia back to a lot of people and introduced younger generations to how Sonic used to play everybody enjoyed I don't know anyone who didn't like it yeah it's so highly modable as well so it's really replayable absolutely uh so one more actually Sonic all right what do we think about Sonic forces now Sonic forces I don't think it's the worst game ever the music is banging yep the voice acting is good and the gameplay isn't the worst I've ever seen I would say c c personally uh I would rather play forces than Rings or Black Knight perhaps any of the D's I would rather play forces over in that case even I don't know what maybe Rush Adventure there yeah okay it's not quite as bad as those games it's just Eggman I really hate yeah he really ruined it yeah I think this is good yeah I think that works I think that's a solid tier list I think the Sonic Adventure fans are going to kill us though maybe but you know this is our own personal opinion you could have your own tier list and you could always post it on
