SONIC SENT ME A MYSTERY GIFT!!!

so I just got a recall email from Sega because then your game Sonic mania actually comes out today August 15th I didn't even realize and they've literally shipped out a copy of it for me same day so it should arrive today which is crazy I absolutely love the sonic games of sonic franchise Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 maybe controversy are my favorite games of all time nothing waiting for this game for a while so I am so excited now I just need to say wait till it comes ok nice on thankful for a huge is here right this box is absolutely massive I didn't know they were going to be this big I literally thought they would just send me the game turns out they are another idea so let's see what's in this need to increases solo question where we have oh happy it's only minier least a month i forgot or anything because once it is done it will mean the world to our fan and this might fit but what is in science wait what this is it is crazy so we've got to that wait a second where is where it is second let me just get out it is crazy so I'll stop this is actually awesome so one of my favorite clothing companies is called drop dead and they did a collapse ages ago with an Sega and Sonic and it turns out they've included some stuff from that in here which is mad and this right here is 9 Xbox one it looks like it but it's actually the collector's edition of Sonic mania so let's crack this open and see what's inside so I have no idea this is crazy [Music] so do you think I could get a job as a model a lot one more guy say I mean there was so much stuff in there loads of clothes my favorite clothing companies we have the awesome memorabilia as well the book literally everything was amazing so Sega thumbs up thank you so much for sending me this and everywhere not to play the game so it's our first taste of the brand new sonic mania here we go [Music] no way that's so classic it's so classic I love that haha oh geez what's this yeah that is amazing already look at the graphic so of course this is a massive massive not it's the old Sonic game this is pretty much again as in the style of the old ones so it's um in full pixel kind of graphics it's got the old style levels and apparently an old style intro as well which is pretty cool I mean I wasn't expecting this hey there they are the trio let's go hahaha that's awesome there are some more about to see but I want to get straight into gameplay because that is what we're here for I am so ready for this so I haven't looked up much about this game so we've got main mode with options you got extras this is going to mania mode I have no idea what the differences will be I can we get all three and one note fine I'll stick with tails here we go let's not talk about it this is great hahaha we beginning straightaway to just throw straight into the game it's even got like no voice acting or text or anything which is awesome unless it comes up now just Eggman Eggman what are you doing why are you stealing for all I can say why are you stealing part of the jungle but there's the Chaos Emeralds right there oh yeah oh that's that's weird that's a little bit weird okay that's very weird Eggman what are you doing I don't appreciate this whoa those like completely negative that's crazy but here we go Green Hill Zone oh wow the nostalgia is hitting me hard look at it I'm not even using the thumb stick I'm using the thumb pad because it's that retro so apparently sonic has a new move as well you can like a spin and - like this which is really really cool and is this it's a virtual recreation of Green Hill Zone the original one I think it might be and I think at the beginning we might have been able to choose whether to be Sonic by ourselves Taylor's by ourselves or we could have been the duo which we are right now which is awesome I didn't even realize that what this game is about is it brings oh wait wait wait let's go for a bonus now if this is the one Oh get the blue spheres okay I haven't played this one before check this out I think it's actually I have played this one before so these are all kind of like different bonus stages you can use to get yourself a to get yourself a Chaos Emerald I believe but they're very very tricky they look easy but they can be super duper hard can we complete this one though how many we were left 62g you know what happens if you hit the red ones I think you might actually die or lose the level if you hit the red one oh no no I did that one completely wrong just like I'm sorry so this is where the job - thing comes in handy you can just do this and go straight down it's awesome so this game is a happy medium between a super fast pace and super awesome platforming which is really cool too sometimes you slow it down a little there you can find out different ways to go as well the best part about the old Sonic game is that you can literally find loads of different ways to get to the end every time you play which is awesome or you could just hold that right stick and try and get as far as you can as fast as you can I mean this is like the happy medium between a remaster and a remake because there's new stuff in here is brand new levels but there's also these old ones those you've been remastered so that people like me we're around while Sonic was burst out it can relive the magics is so cool guys so cool I need me some super fast power please wait what's that one ah no my ring this is well after this right here so I can be immune for a little bit but I think I've kind of just ruined it haven't I I don't get another chance that the armor get another chance at the bonus stage either right the end oh wait what's that oh there's a boss already what okay this was not in the original what am I supposed to do this oh okay okay I didn't want supposed to do I did it that are they I supposed to hit the red one oh geez but do I get hurt or do I hit the normal one I have no idea help me help me okay I can hit the red one that seems to be safe here we go just don't hit the side get him yes I love this game so much guys you don't understand okay maybe you caught him like that I didn't know we did it okay we got one more hit in and we good there we go that's what I'm talking about oh you can hit this around I remember that I don't think that was in the first ever Sonic game though I'm not too sure you can get more and more points the longer you keep this in the air so much fun and since I've got tails erazor I can keep up for ages right just stop messing around tails let's get out of here here we go well you get it oh man I am going to be lost in this game today oh man it's so cool when it starts right back afterwards this might be a remade that actually because I don't remember that being a zip line before I'm pretty sure anyway looks like tails is look at this yes zip lines galore this is awesome there we go do I get another chance to the bonus level nope I do have the super speedy shoes here we go oh man how quick that is that is nuts I was going back the other way right that's finds it send me back again there we go go Sonic go go so it goes that's what I'm talking about I'll get another chance the bonus level as well let's do this which one is it the blue spheres it could be so bad you need to get 127 that's crazy it says there are 111 rings as well I don't know if that means in the level whether that's like your rewards I have no idea I have failed because my camera and our battery we weren't so bad that skipped the back bit so this is one of those bits where you need to slow your foot down and just think about this carefully you don't know what go by the spikes no that was what are you doing to me here we go try to rush it so I one of those players there really loves to go super super fast a fireball okay that might be new as well it's kind of fun to see what the new parts are what the remastered parts are what the brand-new parts I it's really fun oh look at this yeah I can let you fire ball around that's my new favorite sonic move that is insane let's go what oh yes rings trampoline let's go oh man this fireball power of is amazing and you can blow these up too did you see that that was awesome so now you can interact with the environments little bit differently as well so I burn up one of those things you can actually burn up before that's so cool all right another boss fight coming on and we've got this thing back what is that oh geez okay I'm not sure what to do here this is run let's go I can't I can't what are you doing you shooting me you said that I'd bomb y'all that's brand new mister Eggman I like it I lost my fireball that's not good that's really not good night can I jump and hit him I can okay Oh what is that dude okay so Eggman is definitely up to this game a little bit let's go hot BAM nice but usually already up getting like two or three times actually I correct that it's use you between like three and five times get away from me I don't want those no no I think we need to wait for the higher up part and then we can go for it ah yes what folks always got blew up again not even terrible right we can do that here we go okay that's three no no no no no don't crush me don't crush me as long as I've got one ring then I'm absolutely fine please don't blow me up yes that's four it's going to take the magic number five girls do this tails watch out you're gonna get blown up buddy you're such a liability that's five okay oh oh okay he's meeting up I have no idea what's going on he's dead oh my goodness my brain I think tails actually did that thanks fails you're the best and what's up here oh oh it's the animals get Deanna we'll save the Iowas very ah yes we did it guys we did it we did it as a team now is there another act or do we move to the next stage it's a more story yeah look at these guys is definitely up to his game he's got this crazy machine I just blew up which he's fixed instantly he's starting egg everything- that's so weird but so cool as well oh yes awesome tails this is another remake like what was that that that was pretty sweet so this is another remake so my theory is that they have two acts per level and one of them is the original and then the other one is a remastered version which if is true that is phenomenal this is one of my favorite levels but also one of the levels I hated the most because it has a drowning bit in it and the drowning music makes me feel so on edge locates the purple water you can drown in you can choose different ways to go as though it is crazy so again I could try the bonus stage but you have so many different ways you can go to complete this it's insane apparently you can jump on this - I didn't realize that but I just found out when I failed the previous one you can jump yeah yeah I think it's going faster I actually think it's getting faster please please don't yeah definitely I'm faster know how fast you want to get sonic what's wrong with you jeez I mean here's the fastest hedgehog and living thing on this planet but you can slow down a little bit sometimes oh this might be it it's it have I got them all yes I did it guys I did the bonus stage I wanted this I've got okay that's not the Chaos Emerald that is something else I got myself a silver coin I have no idea what that does usually at the end of those bonus games you get the chance of a Chaos Emerald turns out they might have changed that a little bit which is cool there's just so much more to discover and it sounds like tails is lost be such an idiot let's go as far as you can Sonic oh my goodness this is so much fun it's like classic platforming at its old geez at its best there comes the water bed your your here's a song in a minute if I get close to being able to drown you'll hear the song let me see if I can make a happen it's literally terrifying listen it's so terrifying imagine me playing this is like an 8 year old it is so terrifying and then it gets faster and faster and if you don't actually get out of the water in time or collecting air bubbles you just straight up dies so it's free it's pretty terrifying look at this like all the graphics have been remastered as well it just looks phenomenal there we go here we go this is more like yeah I've got a little bit of a mental going now I'm it's another off stage ok it's like I don't know what I was still recording to do anyway by pretty sure ah no I was gonna call between the two platform no does that mean I lose my I shouldn't lose my silver ring right I really wanna know what a silver coins do oh okay I remember this bit I definitely remember this bit so this is a remastered level and then after this I am guessing this to be a brand new one that's been crafted in the same style which will be amazing I'm sorry the studies being super annoying my camera today that's no no no I don't do that there we go okay still like it terrifies me to my core so again this is another moment where you have to be very very careful scrapping platforming No haha so if it's the same as Green Hill Zone that means that we have boss after every time which will also be cool because that didn't happen in the original Sonic games either there was a boss at the end of every act but not after every single wakes it off me get off me get off me dead cells you saved my bacon B yeah there wasn't a boss after every act you I'm going to do this again when it give me a different one you know it's the same one oh there's less spheres this time it looks a little bit more difficult okay no I messed it up I messed it up help there we go what are the gold ones do what's this one whoa okay that's pretty tight I like that okay this is actually hurting my brain right now look at it this is craziness I've got nine to go and here they are here's the last nine I've got myself another mysterious silver coin where is it show me it is it gold no Stephanie silver again there we go as you get multiple ones by level that's my second one in this level let's go all wait we're here we're here it's time it's time sonic calm down oh jeez okay what is that it's like oh jeez okay no no don't do that don't do anything towards me we need to kind of like learn what he does he bounces are you kidding me what do I need to do okay they all seems a bit down so if you're not by yourself sales actually helped you out quite a lot I have no idea how he did it but sales did good you need to spend some time learning what this guy does do we hit him one no we just have to wait I'm going to die I'm literally gonna die and then we go up okay I've worked it out I definitely went out there we go yes done it that was easy modes try again buddy right let's boost - and see if my theory is correct it is indeed they go straight into zone 2 and this is going to be a reimagined one I would assume look at that there's literally a syringe what wait what do I do is a syringe did you syringe out the water I always send it to jelly that's cool that's very cool so we've added new mechanics into the old levels of their remakes as well that's nice on this like jelly oh man ok this is this is the next level trickery right here look at the level design - are you kidding me that was beautiful and now I'm stuck in a giant purple gloop I mean what else what more could you want from a game get away from you sir and now I'm in some kind of gumball machine I mean this game just gets better and better okay it's like a back where I started though there we go that was Ryu oh there you are okay he flies back every time you've done something stupid so looks like we can cool down here and bounce does it go to green or no hello hello no it doesn't go to green okay we can stick on this pad go through and go down what oh I was not supposed to get that okay I've learned a lesson today do not get the Eggman boxes that'll be terrible there we go I love these things oh the level design is just a pure chaos and enjoyment it's amazing let's go ahh look at that beautiful when you feel like you've done such a smooth run it just makes you feel amazing it literally does let's go down here and see where we end up in another purple blobs okay great I this is a fast level I'm a big fan of fast levels and the loop-de-loops that's what I'm talking about look at this manic absolutely manic that's probably why they've called it sonic mania to be honest another gumball machine where is this going to take us I'm excited to see what the next mini boss is actually the next one might be a main kind of boss let's go this way do exactly what tails did sometimes tells the dumb stuff sometimes he does good stuff no no no I'm stuck under that right let's do this syringe and then huh that's what I'm talking about I think Jose has died I heard the death sound there what's going on buddy two meats of elk okay this uses green slime to go super high in the air and up through that pipe through here oh my goodness this is like a joy to play Oh what is going on here we are hold on hold on a second I'm playing Tetris what why am I playing Tetris this is not how I expected my day to go with you Eggman okay I need to work this out when you go this way I have yeah I'm so confused guys I'm so confused I wasn't ready for this I'm also very very bad at Tetris which is not a good start so you need to get four in a row to be able to do it I've got red I've got yeah there we go that's better and we're filling up things on each other's side which is a little bit weird okay I definitely played that wrong definitely there's a black corner as well oh man oh I'm doing so bad there's why these black ones doing the blocking apart I think you can go this way as well so it's really connecting a force somehow you can actually get through this oh man it's stressful though it is filling up way quicker than mines I'm actually putting pretty good about myself oh okay so everyone that we managed to complete we're actually affecting his somehow so if I complete this watch where the energy ball goes it goes over to the right and I think it adds more to his that's pretty cool Eggman taste my slime pun he is filling up he is definitely gonna fill up before me I'm doing pretty good over here yo he's on a triple we had get out of here hahaha that was some next-level it was at the boss fight no it was a mini game oh it was look care of the animals like right here that's what I'm talking about that was cool that was very cool say not just boss fights they're like different kinds of boss fights as well like puzzles ah this is great where are we heading to next going down this pipe and into the next stage which is scooti ah police this might be a brand new one all together because I don't recognize this from any of the other games look at that that's amazing young guys unfortunately I am going to have to leave this video here because it's gonna be way too long otherwise I definitely revisited my past by playing this brand new Sonic game called Sonic mania so now I'm pretty sure it's out now on pretty much everything like ps4 Xbox one
