unfortunately for your age bracket you're automatically placed on a lower priority what does that even mean well there's just a lot more people who need kidneys than are available so there's a priority list women over the age of 50 are lower on that list and say children or young adults when I started this process when I was 38. it doesn't make any sense [Music] I'm Sorry Miss Davis I don't make the rules and until we find a match you just have to be patient oh am I supposed to be patient when I'm dying as we talked about finding a donor is only half the equation if we do find a match are you financially able to pay this and I I don't understand why isn't it 100 covered by insurance I'm a waitress how am I supposed to come up with eighty thousand dollars I barely have eighty met she would literally give her last dollar to help someone in need she's been there for me every time I've needed something and now I'm gonna try and be there for her so if there is any way that you
