Solo Cleric is Better Than You Think | Dark and Darker Level 1 Guide & PvP

[Music] [Music] P this me hey guys how's it going Firebox here I want to go over my day one cleric guide to try to help you level up as easy as possible Goblin caves is an absolute PVP Fest there's a lot of players there's not a lot of space so I am going to try to help you get the best build possible especially in the early game and tailoring towards the mid game and I also want to go over some of my thoughts on the new cleric perks and just some ideas about the current meta that said there's a few new perks brew master has an additional effect which gains you 10 strength I don't think this is really that great you have to consider that buff of Mastery already gives you a flat 10% damage bonus but this has the added disadvantage of having to use Ale in order to get that 10 strength so BL Mastery is just a better version of brew master wouldn't recommend it personally faithfulness is interesting this might be good for a mid to end game build build as you start to stack additional magic damage and will I think for early game the other perks are too important to take this but it is worth considering maybe for a fourth slot holy water is new as well all it does is remove curses when you drink I don't think this is really good probably dead in the water overhealing is new as well you can heal over your max HP by 25% and it will degrade by 1% every second this could be quite good I think you're probably going to want a decently geared build for this as well especially with magic healing but it's something I might consider running for my fourth perk I was hoping to hit level 15 for this video but it turns out leveling just takes way longer than it did last season you're going to notice too it feels like a slog takes a very long time to level now as we're leveling for level 1 to five I'm going to recommend BL weapon Mastery you're going to need this one for PVE and two there's so many players nearby because Goblin caves is so small that you kind of want that damage because there's really no option you're going to have to PVP to survive so having that damage to make sure you're not in negative strength value is pretty important advaned healer is really good because it pairs with Sanctuary extremely well Sanctuary is kind of useless before Advanced healer Advanced healer makes it far better because of this this is why I take it second third perseverance is one of the best perks maybe even in the game I only take the first two perks first just because of their utility minus three damage of all types is absolutely amazing would highly recommend taking this next fourth perk is where I would usually recommend taking protection from evil but you could consider taking overhealing or faithfulness you're welcome to experiment if you like but I think cleric perks haven't changed a whole lot even since before the wipe I think the bread and butter perks are still just very very strong those of you that are familiar with my cleric guides this is usually what I've been recommending I've also been using judgment I do think it's interesting to try Divine protection but I've have noticed in the current meta I'm seeing a lot of warlocks a lot of wizards and I'm not getting a whole lot of use out of the Divine protection because of that I started using judgment Smite had the same issue where I felt like my speed wasn't quite fast enough to make use of it people kind of just walk away from me or would only fight me at range I could opt to do the torch spamming but instead of that I chose to do judgment there is the downside where it can be kind of hard to Target Somebody But as you'll see in the PVP coming up after this guide judgment came in handy quite a few times and for our spells this hasn't changed at all lesser heal Sanctuary protection bless holy strike this is just by far the best five spells for cleric once multiclassing comes into play I'm thinking of changing out some spells from Wizard Fireball for Holy strike ice bolt for bless and then maybe taking a third maybe ignite could be pretty good maybe doing a magic staff build with staff Mastery taking that from Wizard as well but that's probably pretty far into the future considering how long it's taking to level up right now I'm also going to recommend that you build extremely light with this build same as usual the problem is there's so many Caster classes that plate doesn't seem super super good right now I would highly recommend just building yourself to be fast you are going to be a little bit squishy but making use of protection really saves you a lot of Health in fights and I think it's just generally better than using plate armor right now let's go ahead and get into the PVP of this video I hope you enjoyed the guide let's go ahead and get started think I killed him he's dead almost positive he's dead oh [Music] stupid Archer [Music] then hey Kitty how you [Music] doing your Fighter's Dead uh I have the close SK on but it might be only for I don't know how it works for like the different clothes it's the only thing long as I make it out of this game alive I'll show it to you still got still got some work to do [Music] [Music] [Music] he's probably going to run dude did you see the silhouette oh my God it's awesome you can see them there's no more Rogues and Bing right in front of your face and you just can't do anything to them [Music] I love that change oh my God that did even through my uh that's got of kns through the shield this [Music] me oh now I'm not trying to fight players this is kind of crazy course the road my gu running oh my God man Wizard's kind of [Music] tough [Music] that's the play wizard that's the play you [Music] man this [Music] [Music] oh you're a d to dude dude he's so fast I might um that dud fast as hell yeah I'm just not used to warlocks moving like this [Music] damn and I know I had him low how was he so fast with a dagger you're lying dude there's no way [Music] oh man I just barely missed that one hit dude I know I had him one shot that one miss God oh man it was so I don't even know how it missed I swear it went straight through them I I swear that went through him man that's naughty
