Soldier and daughter stun audience with national anthem | Militarykind

oh it was a moment that neither one of us will ever forget we have six daughters they range in age from 16 to 8 no twins all ours we're done now it's a lot of girls right I'm telling ya I'm so blessed and I love my girls a lot my wife and it's amazing amazing amazing journey I was in the Army when I was a young guy and I came I came back in and our whole family sat down and made the decision to come back in go active live on post fully embrace the army life and um so it's we're having a blast [Music] [Music] my wife and I who both sigh in college and you know we traveled in different groups representing our College musically and so I mean music is always been a big thing in our home but for the most part like you know people who walk around singing or generally happy so when we hear our kids singing just as they walk around the house up that I like that a lot it means this is a good safe place to just open up your mouth belt it out you're not gonna be judged and you gonna be you know affirmed and celebrating so it's a good sign for me that my family likes to sing [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] there's one point really dislike make weird noises and tickle them and you know play goofy little games and that was great quality time doesn't work with teenagers alright and Reagan loves to sing and you know I I enjoy singing as well with her and so it's been a great connection point so that's really you know everyone small shoes grab me and say hey let's go saying it and so we'll run out the garage and just sink [Music] so she called me I was on my way home from work this is like that we couldn't sing the star-spangled banner with our national anthem Whitney and had eaten with hungry a little grumpy you know it's like oh god I don't want to do this but of course that says here I'm like yeah buddy I'll be over sweet I ran over and we went out and sang it and I was ridiculous man just the moment you know the looks that we were looks at we were exchanging this she was looking at me and I was looking her and just the confidence we had in one another and the love and the energy and it was really cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] I'm really proud as a dad you're just really cool moment now [Music] it's kind of fun to watch each daughter find her Lane find her niche find her place and then just you know be assertive it's it's really cool living with seven strong ladies you know and Reagan is one of them she's a very strong assertive you know pinion Aidan sometimes a noxious as all get-out but I absolutely love it about her I want her to be a strong strong lady and she is that [Music]
