brady is new in town but i know you're not who you say you are oh so what's so special about this movie right here well i tell you first of all you know listen stephen king is a legend somebody even say a master writer out there some people say the master of his craft but i'm gonna tell y'all something man they as much as i like stephen king there is no stephen king like coked up stephen king that's right a lot of people have directed stephen king novels and i finally decided if you want something done right do a lot of coke if you want something done right don't ask me that fool you got cooked up david king at a time stephen king was so coked up he was cross-eyed people thought that that was like something from birth no that is something from drugs stephen king did so much cocaine his eyes tried to leave his skull that's the colombian white right there exactly yeah man stephen king this is maximum overdrive where he was cooked up i haven't seen this movie maybe one day we'll put on on the list but stephen king i have not seen this but i've always wanted to because i said the the the movie stephen king he's in the trailer selling it and he is selling it because he's so high he is help me i'm gonna scare the hell out of you and like what's he looking at for real somebody i think he means you yeah or or you yeah or you i mean i'm kind of scared right now yeah well because well besides being an influence pop culture would not be an influence on his work a lot of his movies were being adapted yeah lots for the screen i mean this man is probably you think he's gotten a lot not now he should have been there back then so he naturally he's like well [ __ ] as he said if everybody's gonna take my work then [ __ ] it why don't i go ahead and start making movies so but but after after this movie right here and after that movie flopped and after he said and after he came back and said somebody said man you know maximum overdrive you talked about getting it right you did it yourself and the [ __ ] still flopped what happened he said you know what i'm just going to tell you i was [ __ ] up i was high yeah he says you know what i learned a valuable lesson i should never probably i should probably not even go in and direct but i should never probably direct the movie again while coked up writing a movie on the other hand hey you know what i can stay at home nobody has to see me nobody's gonna see me so you know what let me go ahead and write this movie about these cat people right here this is a sleepwalker a movie that he wrote just for the silver screen the screenplay they call it i want to become i'm 100 completely sure that he was [ __ ] out his mind with this and i'm sure he shared a little bit with the director well it's just i'm gonna get some of this [ __ ] you want to be on my level because it's just a collection of his tropes just like with that like like with dream catchers yeah he's like man you just is the kitchen sink still attached to it yeah because i'm pretty sure i saw it in this script i'll tell you this you can already tell the tone of the movie thanks to because he's already man this stephen king has such a name he brought in legends yeah he all his friends all his friends all these actors at the beginning of the movie i mean he brought a lot of hard people we'll talk about that in a little while but the beginning of the movie starts out with luke skywalker himself that's funny i was watching i was like man this actor is reminding me of mark hamill it's like oh [ __ ] that is i have to go back and change my notes because i said and let me see if i can find a a picture here there he is cause i looked it up and he's not credited anywhere right so i said look at this fake ass mark hamill right here i thought the same thing mark ham and then kevin king my assistant he called me up and he says i gave you some notes to let you know that mark hamill's in the mo i'm like what the [ __ ] is mark hamill and he's like yeah that's him mark hamill i gotta appreciate his work ethic i gotta appreciate him coming in and doing a job to his to to to his his best abilities because he's professional man yeah he's a pro give it to him man because he's opens the movie it makes it seem like you know what this movie might not be so bad after all well also they gave luke skywalker they gave a legend luke skywalker they opened up the movie by giving this fool the dumbest and the corniest and terrible dialogue here but mark mark campbell was a pro what do you think happened i don't know but somebody sure doesn't like cats he's saying [ __ ] star wars ain't got [ __ ] on sleepwalkers he's looking around going get that [ __ ] did i just [ __ ] say no he looked at this like look at this deep [ __ ] i'm doing right here you feel this [ __ ] mark old mark hamill raised this movie up a level three or five he cut his teeth on on star wars it's not the best dialogue either it's true but he knows how to sell it but he knows that he ain't doing it he didn't tell he's gonna hang this many cats the the the the dumber the lions got the most the more terrible the lions got mark the deeper he got with that [ __ ] what's that in her hair they were like cut and he was like [ __ ] yeah nailed that [ __ ] i was like this i was like took the word rose to another level [ __ ] let somebody look at you that long and be like goddamn boss is drinking again like he forgot who he's about to say next it looked like to me acting yo they got some jump scares in here in the beginning the jump scares even set the tone for how corny this movie going to be at the beginning they got a jump scare that's straight out i mean the [ __ ] is a spook house carnival at the beginning that was no real [ __ ] day some dude got hired to throw cats oh yeah entire movie oh and y'all talking about it oh cat man they know big thing should we always see that no no no no just wait you know what what's funny here is that the cat comes out and scares the [ __ ] out of them but a goddamn screaming corpse sleeping at your hands are like oh [ __ ] you're right oh well [ __ ] okay what the what what's that the cat cats get the [ __ ] out of them but a corpse of screaming ass corpse coming after you like well [ __ ] what is that well we we can't really shoot a corpse already the opening credits ain't even rolled yet the title ain't even come on yet stephen king ain't even walked in yet you're immediately after this introduced to your main character who is charles charles played by brian krause right here charles brady yeah charles brady in the movie i tell you what the movie is good at putting information out there quick because with him you know that he's you know that uh uh immediately you see him into being he's into this this very pretty girl one of the prettiest girls in high school and then they introduce all this information without telling you a whole lot but they also quickly let us know that charles is a weird mother yep and they waste no time in making us very uncomfortable because you sitting up here looking at charles charles in the pit naked got tissues next to him and y'all like oh god damn this boy's been sitting off jack and it's jacking off to this girl here to her headshot from a year before you've been jacking off to the yearbook photo i mean i know we didn't have internet porn back then but god damn it had to do the best you could y'all like god damn this dude is in the pit jacking off to a year but like like this [ __ ] is goddamn uh playboy no that would with his you know we said that mr ferris might be a little conflicted by the sexuality just this last moment he's like no i'm gay and i know i want so i'm very sure i want some ass right look all i movie in the movie the stephen king story where the cocaine would actually start kicking in for the characters like the characters didn't do it stephen king did it they they actually do cocaine by association oh you mean when charles has a complete personality transplant oh charlie flips worse than cruella stephen king did so much cocaine that the characters got high and charles is just his charles is coked up charles was so charming yeah charles who was making sure that nobody he was you know that he didn't draw attention to himself because he didn't want people to know that he was [ __ ] his mom oh and by the way we're cat people you know he he [ __ ] after chowing down that neck and just having some getting a contact high from stephen king he don't give a [ __ ] he just goes barreling down the road yeah unit call at home you in there come on and my man is trying to keep cool over here officer like i said officer goofy over here now i'm gonna tell y'all something this is not the best chase scene that i have ever watched but it is one of the craziest the hell you say not the best not the best but it is one of the craziest it's one of the funniest chase scenes that i've ever seen man first of all uh my man my the officer over here officer cat daddy officer cat dad over here tried what he's doing when he's in the car chase he's trying hard to get his car chase poles on he looks like a zoo lander right here and charles charles is still like man really charles is hopped up like i don't know if human blood does this does this to them i don't know if he's getting a real contact card from stephen king but he's he he uh he chases this man he first of all he's very good at throwing this man off they get to a point where my man is so busy posing and charles is getting such a charles is duping his ass so well he almost gets them killed into the cat to the point even the cat is just like watch out [Laughter] charles is so hopped up he he gets to a school crossing oh my school is getting out and he says [ __ ] them kids she really does he does he says [ __ ] i'm about to get gta little asses [Laughter] oh [ __ ] what are you thinking of doing in the to me i was just watching clips and i'm laughing my ass off i was like boy you don't even know i will say it's a man it is uh yeah i can't guess what they doing i'm a little confused but i give it a rental as of right now because i'm having i'm having a blast watching this man now next week will it be a different thing we'll see we'll see we'll see part two next week we'll do the review part two next week and we'll see if that rental at least it the rental for me at least at least if it can maintain because i don't know what you gave it i i it would it would be a low rental i mean it's almost
