hello and welcome back if you're new here my name is Aileen Senpai I'm a streamer on Twitch an amateur singer and a lover of all kinds of music now I know I've been getting a ton of requests for me to finally listen to Chris Cornell with you guys here on YouTube and I'm finally going to dive into this Rabbit Hole I know that he has been very talked about highly talked about and I unfortunately know as well that he is no longer with us I really do hope he has found peace and I can't wait to honor his legacy and listen to his music and really just you know carry that on forever with you guys I really do appreciate all of these amazing recommendations thank you guys for waiting for this one you guys requested like a stone um I will be doing some other ones as well I believe he had some solo stuff as well I'm not too sure on all of the information there but this is the one that I was seeing so much in my comments so thank you for that but uh yeah we're gonna dive in together I hope you guys enjoy this if you do enjoy this content please be sure to leave a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe and ring that Bell so you never missed my videos ever again that being said let's get started with audio slaves like Stone [Music] nice space [Music] afternoon [Music] everywhere we wanna go [Music] meet me [Applause] [Music] my girls [Music] okay uh that voice it has such a really nice like Rich crispiness to it it's it's just so crispy it's very clear it has a beautiful tone and then you get kind of like a little like a grungy aspect as well but it's just so I don't even know how to explain it it feels like you can see through it it's it's so weird I don't know if it's a weird mental picture but hearing that hey you can tell even then you could see it in his eyes you could see that this is coming from you know a place of a lot of emotion it's so interesting when you can separate singers who sing just because they have to or they're talented or singers that sing from a place of intention and this is definitely what I'm getting here yes so so so much power emotion and passion in those notes it really feels like he's connecting with every single word that is coming out of his mouth and it is really sad to see knowing that he is now no longer with us I believe he unfortunately took his life and it's really sad to see that look in his eyes that you know there's just something there you can you can already tell it you know just on the first minute just looking into his eyes you know those are eyes of someone who has definitely been going through something um but this is just all around it's just so damn good I'm really loving how everyone else is very keeping it really nice and mellow and they're letting him kind of just tell that story but that base is very prominent and I feel like that bass guitar is really setting a nice tone for this song and I'm all here for it I'm gonna go back a little bit more just so we can flow right into the next part but let's continue [Music] foreign [Music] oh I was there soon [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] you know until the day the day is gone all the things I've done for all [Music] and all that I've wronged and dreams until now [Music] [Music] the stone is [Music] [Music] [Music] wow wow yeah oh you get so it's just it it's hard it's hard to see it's it's also weird to see um your videos performances of people who are no longer with us but seeing that the way the the last half of that song was just ah you could see it in his face you could see that he meant every single word and a was connecting with everything and the way that it was coming out the intention the the power the way that he was you know fluctuating things dancing around with certain notes and just kind of like taking you on these beautiful runs and Melodies and you're kind of just here out of breath just witnessing it all happened in front of you and you see a person who is really really really passionate about his music and man that was incredible that was absolutely incredible I'm feeling I'm feeling a little hot just watching that I feel like I was holding my breath the last half of the song and I didn't even want to pause or didn't want to find any pockets of pot you know where I need to pause and of course you know passing in these videos is a normal thing but I felt like pausing in this was really disrespectful I kind of just wanted to let them you know just do their thing and I wanted him to just you know speak I wanted to experience it you know um but wow absolutely uh just in 10 out of 10 incredible absolutely Perfection I I thought that was a masterpiece um I have a ton more to say uh I'm gonna here gather collect myself but yeah let's just set this a little bit further after listening to this I ended up learning a little bit more information on uh the life of Chris Cornell and I do believe this was actually six years two days ago six years uh that he actually he took his life and it's just so incredibly unfortunate seeing him here and you feel like he definitely see in his eyes that there was just something there that he was going through something and the way that the song was written the lyrics the way that he you know sang every single note he didn't just sing it because he could he sang it danced around with notes give little runs and added so much power and gave it all and then kind of like step back and then really forced all of that power again in the end and you really see someone who is just so incredibly talented someone who sings with with emotions sings with her whole heart he seems like he seems like a person that he pours this whole heart on the stage or in front of a microphone wherever it was you know and he is going to be so dearly missed yeah I feel really upset that I didn't appreciate him in his time but you know now that I'm listening to him a little more and you guys are giving me more recommendations I can truly continue to carry out his legacy and really educate myself on probably one of the greatest singers that I've heard thus far I truly feel like that voice to tone the clarity was just so unique and he is definitely going to be missed I know there's probably so many people all over the world that are still mourning his loss and I I truly feel like I I really wish I would have known him a little bit sooner known a little bit more about him but we're going to listen to them together listen to his music I believe he has Audioslave I think he has some solo stuff as well I don't know if he was in other groups but I will find out with you guys we will continue to carry out his legacy together um but wow that was just incredibly well done instrumentally the bass I know we're speaking a lot on Chris but the instrumental the rest of Audioslave was you know honestly doing so much in this song I feel like That Base it was so prominent it was a very bass heavy song and I truly loved how it was setting a tone you know usually when you hear a bass it's very you know powerful it it kind of like sets the tone since the mood and it was very very loud and I love that so much especially with the context of the song and the way that the music video was structured um the guitar as well I loved that solo it was just so nice a little bit different I love the technique there as well and the drums I really love the tone in the snare drum it was really you know playing Magic with that guitar in that solo and I really truly appreciate it how that kind of was a nice build up to Chris at the end in that bridge he really really just sent it home you know it was everything you could have ever asked for in a song and I I'm just sad I didn't know this sooner I really truly am but I'm gonna listen to some more Audio Slave more Chris Cornell of course in this Channel's future it is long overdue and I am just going to hope that he has finally found peace and comfort and may He rest in peace um but let me know which other ones you would like me to uh you know do on this channel with you guys I I truly want to do some homework and catch up with y'all and really educate myself on on Audioslave and Chris Cornell but thank you for that I appreciate all of the love appreciate you guys you know recommending me this in the first place so thank you very much for all of that I really
