Simon Cowell & David Walliams On The Jonathan Ross Show 24.3.2012

let's get my first guests out they just kicked off another search to see if Britain's Got any Talent I suspect they will find a lot of it it is the Magnificent Simon Cowell and the ever wonderful David Walliams in the middle you've been here before no I can't do it but this is this is like I over stay stay stay are you finding this evening a hard-worker wedding very uncomfortable what the whole thing is you've done the auditions a process already of the auditions faces you know if you're single yes sorry lady so it's okay you chose David though you only have yourself to blame I know there are moments in my life which I regret and this may be one of them well I I've seen some of the audition stuff and the show I've seen so far David was fabulous thank you us on it he was funny he knew he was talking about he is supportive he was incredible so you must be you Simon you must be pleased with the choice how are you thrilled yeah I'm always happy when someone else we hire gets a lot of lot of acclaim like that yeah yeah and I've got to say we had a great time and I hate to admit it but he is really really good on the show I've never done anything where people have been more interested just asking questions the main question I get is it Simon gay felt the main quest it is the main question no is he nice and we well we know the answer to that well there's obviously a fascination in Europe okay well here's the thing Simon is always always surrounded by beautiful women okay as were you for many years and people always thought you were getting down yes and we all know he dabbled but they knew but they knew huge settle down that settle down you couldn't leave it with a very beautiful lovely lady who doesn't have a German accent in case you start thinking here to go into it again she does adore you know it is staggering because she is actually gorgeous and intelligent what happened I know when what's the deal with you when are you gonna sell the right person I worry about you don't worry about me cause me about you all the time oh yeah oh I'm fine I'm happy but would you like to be married to a lady would you like to have little Simon Cowell was running around with the same kind of weird just want to know a lot of girls to marry me and they say no what I'd marry ya and I'm married but if you ask you know the whole of Stringfellow's all at once they don't worry that flattery they can't hear you properly fine okay I'm glad you're happy because you work a lie flat out I mean you really do you're huge success but you deserve it because you really put the hours in and I know that and you're an attention to detail on your shows it all comes from you than that I mean you really you like to be hands-on with everything is there to be an X Factor over here are you coming back to that or not no it's impossible I mean I'd like to and maybe at some point maybe the shows will change you know the time zones or something times of the year but the moment they've run exactly at the same time so so I've produced it still but I do miss not doing it to be honest with you a Gao is terrific in it I think goes great and as he forgiven you for the comments you made when you refused to sign the band many years ago they never do because do one of them - what you said about going they darlin he said I love taking that old but I wouldn't sign them because the lead singers too fat I didn't quite say that I said I'll sign morbidly obese asylums without the fat one made a mistake then I called up the manager a few months later said do you want the deal and he told me where to go so that was the end of that that would be one of the regrets you've had in your professional career definitely yeah yeah but you know then I signed Westlife so you know one one mistake leads to something else that leads to our less successful band actually more successful I really feel it so more records give it less interesting are you saying you raised me okay I'd like to see lovely couples like Elton and David out here should see the little baby Zachary on your knees oh we could watch that character he has wait wait wait there's the Prime Minister and the gay a yes Sebastian yeah this is the kind of relationship which is developing here I'm not the fake Prime Minister they fight against it's nice then go away I'll be talking more for David and Simon after this I'm still here with the Lowell and Harvey of British television David Walliams and Simon Cowell are sit on the cow's head of government in any good news okay so you're ahead of all of us in terms of the show because you've gone through all the auditions so you've seen most of which is in store for us for the next few weeks I don't want to spoil the surprise when I'm sure you don't either but who are the real fine so far can you tease us with that with the real discoveries well what we just saw tonight I mean two of that the people on that show the choir and the couple Jonathan and the girl Jonathan Charlotte's who you were suggesting maybe and you did that thing which we kind of admire about you but also it's a bit kind of like cold it seems a little cold it's raining which is that you said he's great would she necessarily is it better they stay together people together and wants to separate them what's his pyramid sorry if he says people cover their family is it right you're awful you're create some no he was much better than her and I thought it was very shy and I'm not sure he would be there when he said he wants to stick with or anyway didn't you yeah yeah for the moment you say you will try and no I wouldn't actually I think it's probably the right decision that we did put them through but he is super super talented seventeen years old and that's what's so joyous about the show watching at home is exactly the same as being a judge you really don't know what's coming who's gonna be great it's gonna be terrible let's have a look at elimination you if you saw the show earlier you'll know what we're about to say but if you didn't catch it have a look at this is Jonathan and what was the Charlotte Charlotte in the Charlotte David forgotten Oh pretty good we will be seeing a lot market yeah here's the Soviets that here's I really I have to be fair there through as a couple but great seventeen-years-old amazing I don't know if anyone watches online there's obviously there's the emergence of Taliban there's also there's Greece has Got Talent there's the Philippines have talent is there China's Got Talent now as well and some of the acts on that you see are extraordinary are they and have they got as much talent in those countries as we have here do you think they've got more a tradition of variety in in Britain that's why I think that stro works so well because we've grown up with variety on TV and so many different acts because although there are singers I really like to see the comics and impressionist people doing dog acts will you like dogs more than people that's true picture of him being being licked by a dog dog okay it's it's my it's my little puppy bird ah look at that and Simon I've never seen you so calm and relaxed and I mean if I'm being honest with you I actually do prefer Bert to you he said to me okay you have to push someone off a cliff is it your wife or is it Bert he wants me to make that choice what is the choice feely was the wife on that yeah push the wife up I should say to my mom if you had to push me or my brother off a cliff who would you pushin if you don't tell me I'll die in a plane crash that's some Mother's Day present you here in a while I can't tell you and then when my brother lives away she went pointed at my brother so she would push him off the clay instead of me because he's not bringing on the money exactly so delighted when he's watching this at home he won buddy must be used to be one of us had to go no neither of you have to no choice no because then one of us would die in a play if that was him I wouldn't go on a cliff walking holiday with you and the mum just you know but I know you love dogs because I've seen footage of you performing as a dog many years ago when he was starting out the record industry he was looking for a novelty act well as the head of his own company he dressed up as wonder dog I'd like to get we know it's you we can hear your voice
