good morning everyone and happy new year i am back by not popular demand i've gotten some hate comments here and i'm just still here so i'm sorry so not backed by popular demand buy back by my demand cuz i'm not gonna quit i don't care what hateful y'all say to me i ain't gonna quit anyway sitting here at the shipper and they don't have my little ready even though it's supposed to be ready at 8 30. um it's like not 8 30. it's like a lot later than that but it's all good because that is one thing i want to tell you guys sometimes shippers receivers will be running late just part of the game now the reason i'm making this video is because i actually have time but by popular demand a few of you have asked hey we've seen or we did see your freightliner what about your volvo not my volvo but the volvo i drive so today you guys will actually get to finally see my volvo it is a little bit dirty so but this is how it normally is um it is the beginning of the week so it's not as dirty as it gets but i am planning on actually making a video of the beginning of the week and the end of the week because i don't know if you guys have like the time every day to scrub but i know i don't because i'm either way too tired what is my oh way too tired or honestly i'm just kind of like wrong at the end of the week so here we go toward the volvo again it's dirty but you guys want to see it and i'm just going to show you so here we go all right guys so this time we are actually going to start um by the driver's seat perspective and basically boom it's a truck it's a volvo oh my gosh you know whatever whatever it is a little different from the freight oh sorry some of the controls are a little bit different um they're in different places one good thing i do love about this truck is that i know my freightliner also had that but not nearly as much of a range as my volvo um yeah i mean it's not that much different as you see the dash is set up a little bit different my qualcomm is actually set up a lot better because i can actually see it when i'm driving and it is not a distraction because i'm not trying to look everywhere and find it one of the biggest differences in this truck i know my gear selection i don't even know what it's called gear shift i guess it is an automatic used to be up here on my swift truck but on the volvos it is actually down here now yes my poor little thing's a little rough this was a team truck before i was put in it and they did not take the best care of it so that is basically your front dash and of course i used to keep my trash can behind the seat in my vava there's no room so i keep it over there in front of my passenger seat i don't have passengers so it works out pretty well now oh my god yes i do have trash over there but i decided i was going to clean out my driver's box so i'm waiting till the next rest area or truck stop or whatever i come to to throw that out we are going to move on storage space so this one does not my volvo does not have as much storage as you can see i do have a cb but i don't really use it and i don't really like it we do have storage box here which the design on volvos they're kind of really cluttered so this door doesn't open all the way because it hits the top of the truck so you only have a little bit of space to put stuff in you have compartment up here which i keep mainly just grocery bags compartment up here i keep my headset because i'm a real trucker now and my paperwork and again just another little netting and another storage space that doesn't open all the way which is so weird one good thing about this truck if i can open it oh lord i do have a sunroof that um doesn't open but it's all good for looks so it's okay so that's what the storage space looks like and i know you noticed my cooler this is an electric cooler i love it it's the coleman 40 quart i love it because i can put groceries in it and all that kind of stuff because y'all know i'm trying not to get fat out here but it's not working all the best so now we come to the layer where i sleep again honestly no different really it's a bed with sheets and pillows yes there are different sheets on this bed whatever one cool thing that is different about the volvo that my freightliner did not have is what i call movie night mode the bed sits up so you can sit up and you even have a neat little pullout [Music] dinner tray so if sorry i thought i heard another truck if you want to you can sit up eat your dinner watch a movie whatever and with the movie being said here's where the tv would go if i watched tv which i don't so instead i use the tv stand to hold my waters from falling out so here's another little storage compartment up here is where i typically keep my drinks so i just normally keep water and stuff in there and maybe some my bad guys i actually got a call but like i said i don't know where i left off pretty much keep my waters and stuff and clothes in there so not to watch tv this makes a great holder to keep these bad boys in there storage space it is a lot less than my freightliner i do have this big compartment here which i use for clothes right now it's just my bags in there because i've not had a chance to really unpack for the week and i probably won't then i have a little one down there i normally keep nothing in there because i don't really have anything to put in there if we come around to the other side kind of like my freightliner we have a cabinet up here which i actually keep my snacks and my food in which beware it's a mess i hope everything doesn't fall i have spoons cereal tuna fish mandarin oranges stuff like that nothing crazy all pretty much dry goods in there um sorry guys i'm just making sure that other truck doesn't pull in front of me um i have a little storage space here which i just is basically one of my drunk drawers one of two i have i just have things like you know face patches my new favorite thing in the world fiber supplement chewables they actually taste amazing you take six a day and the first time i had them i think i had like eight but anyway and i have you know a little compartment down here where i can set my drinks when i'm having a movie night i do have an air freshener at all times back here because we know this truck can smell pretty bad pretty fast but that's why hygiene is important down here drunk drawer number two now in here i don't really know what this is for but whatever i have things like baby wipes uh birth control actually um you know toothbrush toothpaste lotions lotion more face stuff deodorants um acetone for my nails shampoo more wipes so yeah y'all get the idea this is just kind of a drawer that i shove stuff in to make it look clean down here is another little storage space which i think i have all my shoes in yeah my boots my berries in my slides slash shower shoes and i also have a rain jacket that i forgot was in there now so all of that i mean honestly it's i know it was kind of quick one thing i do like about my volvo over my freightliner is the windows they actually come all the way out in my other truck it was just a very little sliver and honestly you couldn't get any airflow at all this truck has four of them so it gets really nice airflow and of course here's the top bunk which obviously is up because i don't use it all you have to do is unhook that up there that one's already done pull this and once you pull this it releases a little spring up here and it literally just comes down rests up on here and ta-da your top bunk is down i do have little lights back here as well you know if i'm eating or whatever typically i do eat in the front seat one thing that i have noticed hold on let me check and make sure this truck isn't done which it is so i'm gonna have to get ready to stop this again and start it back up so give me guys a second let's try this one more time so anyway that's honestly the end of my oh that's what i was going to get on to my bad the control panel back here so in this truck unlike my freightliner i do have a bunk heater i don't think my freightliner had a bunk eater i don't know honestly but anyway this one does so here's my little control panels back here i have a little foot light that i can use down there for a little night light or something then i have little plug-ins down here where i can charge my phone plug something in that i need to be plugged in up here is where i control everything these buttons are to control the fan up and down when i have the heat on this one is the big light as you can see um you know i can cut the radio on for back here which i know you see that i have speakers in the back and i can even put an alarm clock on and yada yada and the panic button i'm not sure exactly what it does but i'm not trying to find out so all i have to do to turn the heat on is just hit menu menu menu until i see the little heat button flashing push on off oh well just kidding waited too long push on and then i just put the set button and the heat will come on right now i am not going to set the heat because it is actually very hot in here honestly that is the end of my famous little truck tour um again it's not that much different from my freightliner except for how the dash and you know the compartments the storage compartments are set up so that's really all i have for the actual tour part but um but yeah sorry fixing my pants so that was your basic quick little tour i'm sorry that i had to like edit and cut this into so many little spices i'm sure it's gonna be all messed up i'm sorry um i got a phone call and then i had to back in and yada yada you know the truck driver life my flight is finally ready so i'm just waiting to get loaded but i know a couple you a couple of you have asked me like my opinion on which truck i like better i honestly i like my volvo better is that a little biased yes probably because i like this company a lot better and simply because i've been in this truck a lot longer than i was in my freightliner um the only thing i say i don't like about this truck honestly is the simple fact of it doesn't have much storage space and it's not as big on the inside but with that this thing is much easier to maneuver the front of the truck is not as wide um it's more narrow so i can cut you know when i'm backing around something i can cut in places where my freightliner honestly i'd probably struggle um this the volvo i keep calling it this thing oh my god my volvo the company's volvo that i drive um the turning radius is a lot better so my freightliner i felt like i couldn't really whip it which by whipping i don't mean going fast i just mean kind of like going to the last second and then turning like if the curbs here like i can literally come to here and then turn to come around it but the turn radius feels so much better in this truck i don't know if it's just because i've gotten used to it more than i did the frame liner but overall i love the volvos um i've had really no issue with the one i'm in so i can't really speak upon anything the only thing i don't like about these newer trucks is the sensors they drive me insane so in this truck which is different from my swift truck as well um i do have the camera that is actually in the windshield i don't know if you saw it but it is forward and inward i guess that's how you say inward facing so not only can they see where i'm going they can see what i'm doing which yeah doesn't really bother me because i'm not planning on doing something that i shouldn't be doing i know sometimes honestly we all do some things that are probably pretty sketchy eating and stuff like that but again i'm not too worried about it the only thing i don't like is when i'm in the bunk which is what these old hefty curtains are for um and plus we are allowed to cover our cameras when the truck is off and not moving so that's i think the only one thing i can say that i don't like about my volvo but again that's just a company thing in the sensors i was saying it does have a forward collision warning sensor which i'm fine with um that honestly doesn't go off that much but i have a sensor to my right when if i turn my turn signal on and there's something beside me it will let me know now it's great it's a great tool to use especially when we do know sometimes we have blind spots especially when it's dark well when it's dark you see headlights but you know what i mean um the reason why i don't like it is because if i'm in construction and there's you know the concrete wall or anything sometimes it'll go off and it sets my camera off and it shows as like a critical event to where i almost hit something and honestly my company just looks at it and they're like oh she didn't you know she didn't do anything so they don't even talk to me about it and of course i don't get any in any trouble for it or anything uh i do like on the steering wheel which i didn't really go into detail a lot of the settings on this stuff but if you would like i can make another video and go more in depth of like your normal like mechanics to working this whole thing but i do love the cruise control on this one better i know in my swift truck it would not hold speed whatsoever i don't know if it was just that truck but this my little volvo she's a little workhorse and i love it because i can fly and i'm not saying fly in a bad way but uphills and stuff but i'm gone even if i have waiting on the back of me so it's all good um i'm trying to think of any other so on the plus side my freightliner it was much bigger on the inside i had much more storage i even had a fridge built into the truck this one of course i got my little cooler which i don't really care no one rides with me so i'm not very worried about it i got what i need in my passenger seat um that's really the only good thing about the freightliner it drove horrible it was shaky and i didn't really like it it was too big and i know when i say that y'all like oh you know try driving a peterborough you can't wear but i don't want to this is fine for me i don't want to drive one of those long nose things i'll pass i'm sure they're nice and i'm sure they look pretty i love the way they look but i don't want to drive one this is cool with me and i was asked when am i going to drive a manual well i don't know if you're trying to like put a shot out to me because you think i don't know how to drive a manual or if like you think i'm not a real truck driver because i don't drive a manual but i will tell you when i test it out and when i learned i learned on a 10 speed so i do know how to drive a manual am i good at it hell no but i can still get to where i need to go um do i want to drive one hell no i am in a lot of cities uh i go through dc not through dc but around dc quite often i'm in places like i don't know gas city indianapolis uh i don't know you're just your cities and i'm good i'm not trying to have my left leg way stronger than my right first of all and second of all i don't think you need to be in a manual to be considered a real trucker um i do know there are pluses to driving manuals like being able to control your speed more and you have more i guess control over things but again i'm good and automatic so maybe one day i will actually go for a company that has a manual but i definitely don't want to drive on every day so yeah and so if that was a shot to me being a woman which i highly doubt i'm just saying because i have had a lot of men say oh well you're a woman so of course you're an automatic no because i learned on a manual and i made it a point to learn on my manual so i wouldn't oh my gosh learn on a manual so i wouldn't have restrictions on my license but do i want to drive one no will i one day possibly but right now i really don't want to i'm cool my little automatic and i know i was cruella my other truck i can't remember what i call my freightliner but this truck does have a name and her name is finn the reason for it my back windows you also how they kind of folded outward well when you're going down the road and or if you're just sitting and you have all your windows open which i typically do anytime i'm sitting i typically have all my windows open but if you actually look at it i'm sorry there's a dude over there if you actually look at it in your mirrors it looks like a little shark and y'all know i love sharks so what did i call her finn so yeah that's finn yeah she's a little rough but she's tough and she's mean as going up these hills so i love my volvo and yeah no problems with it not mine and again this is not my truck guys this is a company truck i want to make that clear so i keep saying mine but the truck i'm in every day so uh but that's that and that is the end of this video because i feel like it's kind of repetitive and stuff like that but uh but yeah i will tell you guys we are close to 900 subscribers and once i hit a thousand that will be amazing and i would love to do lives so i can answer some questions now i do want to get an actual camera um the money is the part where i'm calling um so we'll have to wait on that because i'm not gonna just throw down money on a camera when i can slowly save for it because my phone is working good enough for right now so yeah for all you who asked for a tour i did it can't be mad at me so yeah there's more things coming i hope in the new year you guys are able to reach the goals that you want i hope you guys are able to do what you want to do in your careers in your life and for my females out there keep going oh my gosh the support from you guys has been amazing i'm so glad i can be here to try to uplift you and give you any advice that i have um a couple of you have reached out and i just want you to know when you guys do leave positive comments i do read them all and it means so much honestly it keeps me going because there are times when i don't not only do the youth doing youtube's fun but there's times where i'm just like why like what is this gonna do for me and i almost forget why i do it because i don't do it for myself i try to do it for everyone else yes it is a very fun hobby to do but it's it makes it worth it when people comment like hey like this actually helped so if it helps i'm so glad to keep the comments coming and i'm just really happy that all of you guys are here rude they're loading me but anyway but yeah i'm gonna get off here that way once i'm done i can just run to the
