Shigaraki vs Star and Stripe in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 1 🤯

the fact that this author hor Koshi man the social commentary is not lost on me and I absolutely thank him for this the American hero comes in with this ability New Order which essentially can be summed down to whatever I say the rules are the rules are and you have to listen to me is the funniest thing I've seen in the show I think and it could just be recency bias I'm okay with that but that has to be the coolest freaking Quirk I've seen man seemingly no limit to what you can do to others as long as you have the name and seemingly make some form of contact with them is a limit to what she can do to herself so it's not like she can just become all might she can try to replicate some things and become pretty strong but she ain't going to become all might but man that what have I said through all the times I've covered this show I've been I've been talking about this bad boy for a long time and I constantly say that like watching my hero kind of feels like waking up on Saturday morning and just feeling like a kid again and I've been waking up for Saturday mornings to watch my hero and I'd be feeling like a kid every goddamn week this show's on took a bit for this season to start I think this is still supposed to be a two core but I don't care they came in quite literally Swinging with shiggy standing on some brain ass mutated and then you have her with her Fleet of bros you can nitpick you can say oh did the planes really move that much they were a little static I I don't care man call me a fan boy call me whatever that was just fun of course I have full live right away when the fight started I was like she dying like that was my assumption because I'm like okay one The Banger of an opening that is season 7's op I don't even think she was in that once so I was like okay they're they're setting her up to be this big badass and they're going to kill her right away I had low expectations because I was like oh clearly if if you're actually as broken as it's seeming there's no way shiggy ain't going to take that cuz right now we're in a process of I think they said it was like 97 or 98% in terms of all for one and shiggy like merging into a new entity so it's kind of like a fight right now of like which cuz throughout the fight and throughout like the entire episode you kind of like oh that does feel like shigaraki and then it's like oh that that doesn't feel like him at all and just that back and forth at one point she pins this fool to the goddamn plane or whatever and says hey shigaraki you going to die and it's like oh my God like you're literally going to your heart's going to stop and it almost worked had the internal fight not gone on in the way it did like I'm pretty sure it heart would have stopped there but because he wasn't actually him you know was able to overcome him so the fact that she does need the name is very interesting which actually does explain why you know right away she's like okay like is this all for one or whatever when she first starts out I think one of the coolest things about this show even when it's been at its low and I don't think my heroes ever reached a true low of like disgusting quality like some people act like my hero is this big roller coaster of is it good is it trash I've liked it from season one and I've liked it up to now but there are better seasons and better arcs and others of course but the thing that's been I think the most consistent even when it has reached what I consider lows is the expiration of powers the quirks and how they're implemented to casually introduce yeah sure they ended the last season they teased it and stuff but to casually introduce the first episode of season 7 from what I gather the manga if like this is like a twocor season most likely we got season 8 will be the the Finish Line the finale and to be this close to the end and still bamboozling me with the coolest freaking abilities I'm thinking there's no way you top this no there's no way you top that to just have America come in and say Bros let's go save the world and she comes in with her new order but it's just so cool you can't tell me with a straight face that you got seven Seasons into my hero Academia and you see big muscle American mommy come in and manipulate the air into being a version of her that she starts pummeling shiggy to then getting shot with lasers to create a giant laser spear to then stab shiggy M midair yeah maybe it's not enough you didn't need the preview to say that but damn if the preview doesn't make it look pretty badass I think I saw that fool's skin starting to disintegrate there's something so childlike with the feeling of watching these superheroes go up against these villains well at the same time being actually impressed with the writing of where the world's developed because we start this episode off basically with the uh Pilots pretty much saying like you know if we were allowed to mobilize like we we'd be sending in so many Heroes but we got to look after America you know it's just like every country is going to have to be looking after themselves like the overall plan of how easy chaos could spread across the globe and everyone will have to protect their own and there will be no help for Japan like it's just it's a very good plan and then you have America come in saying nah I'mma do my own thing and I'm just like oh my goodness this is fantastic I have a feeling people will probably criticize really the lack of like anim there's a lot of like static of them just standing on the planes and stuff and not moving which honestly I'm okay with cuz I think if you would have done more it probably would have got into territory where you would have had to do a lot of 3D that would have been no noticeable or anything but there was constantly like stuff happening with the abilities that I think made up for maybe the lack of movement on the the plane side or the fighter jet side I don't know people have an issue with it but generally with the with those types of moments I like see comments like that so I just want to throw my hat out there in case people are wondering like no man I thought this episode came back swinging the opening was fantastic though the song surprised me there was like three different points of the song where I was like I feel like I'm listening to a different type of song uh one of my favorite openings of the season ending is also pretty damn good the music be fire and honestly my Hero's back I mean when my hero was at a rough point with the fandom where people were telling me how trash it was I was still enjoying it and then the last season season six I think really resp sparked a lot of interest because of just how good it was and I think with where we're at with essentially the end of the world it's so interesting we know DEA stuff's going to be great we know the shiggy stuff's going to be great everything's going to be damn good this season whether you know star and stripe makes it out of this alive Quirk is stolen whatever could happen here there's a lot of possibilities you made that one hell of an entrance if you only have a couple episodes worth of content that's all I'm saying but this was definitely one of the coolest abilities I've seen could be Rey bias I don't care that was awesome but listen people will say what they say all I say is if we got this this far Seven Seasons into my hero Academia I think this is everything that people have enjoyed with my hero Academia at this point and that was fantastic hopefully there won't be a controversy about the color of the sky this season but in my hero do I trust that there will probably be a controversy with the color of the sky but uh I joke but let me know what you thought down below because this was a banger I know literally nothing about my hero in terms of manga content I've actually remained to be pretty spoiler-free surprisingly certain shows it's impossible but as someone who kind of stopped using social media for anime it's uh been a blessing to avoid the spoilers but let me know what you thought especially for anime Originals I already know mongar is knew
