hey guys it's holly welcome back to my channel today we are here in a kitchen i know what a day a huge thank you to salted food for letting us use their kitchen it's actually really sick in here um and i feel a little bit bad because i feel like i'm messing it all up but it's okay it's okay we're cooking so we need a kitchen uh today we're making cupcakes that's what i said cookies then i mean cupcakes right it's cupcakes yeah cupcakes why are you looking sad because we just filmed a video and it didn't go well yeah carry on we did just film a back-to-back on simon's channel where i tried to teach him how it's fine you don't need to carry on let's move on he's upset just go watch a video and you'll know why we're going to basically do what we did last year with the pumpkin video and answer a bunch of questions and while we do that we're going to bake some cakes let's start with the cake though so we actually can get it in the oven um step one heat the oven done done that use an electric whisk be 110 soften 110 grams softened butter and 110 grams of golden caster sugar together until pale and fluffy then whisk in two large eggs one at a time scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition okay so this is the butter is this the right side of the butter because there's also that oh that's for the butter icing all right alex has pre-measured everything for us so that we don't get it wrong because i will get it wrong this one sure i imagine it's this one golden caster sugar together yeah that didn't go out the bowl it did get out of the box it didn't where see that that's dandruff the piece of sugar oh damn that is a piece of sugar that gold is done whisk that together imagine gold dandruff oh i wouldn't want that it's even more what if it was actually gold though oh so you could sell it yeah i'd be like this everywhere okay i'm not in the food though eat gold salt a does it yeah but not it's not coming from someone's head can you do this because i don't trust myself with a whisk all right first question from lauren alexis simon can i take tyler and date please i'll make it super cute yeah oh let's go on a date i am worried about her wow that's what i didn't want to happen this is why i didn't want to do it because if i did this i'd be slaughtered in the comments i don't really know how to do this without doing it like that it's on the lowest setting this is really stressful this is the technical way of doing it quick stop imagine we took this off cupcakes they're done okay i think that's which i think that's done i'm just gonna um i'm gonna shook alexa head in a really aggressive way that's not done i will just say i don't bake i cook a lot i don't bake a lot at all i don't remember the last i baked well i can teach you it's fine why is yours going slower i hate it i literally hate it here you're so smug because i'm a baker who's the most ticklish out of us too i'm not really english yeah i think that's done by the way no i become someone's personal noseblower for a whole day and they have a cold yeah you don't get tissues so you just got to put your hands there and it's going to blow their nose who is the person is it day after is when i passed out in the tent and then threw up all over myself yeah mick and i still gonna moss or first paris oh yeah first person first time in paris that was really good add a half teaspoon vanilla extract you got teaspoon yeah i'm going to shave it roughly and then 110 grams of self-raising flour yeat and a pinch of salt whisk until combined that's right and now i know which way to push the thingy i was just doing it on turbo i didn't realize how long does it take to brainstorm video ideas i hate planning videos i don't really do it never goes to plan so i'm not the best person to ask um it means which channel says that's fine different sidemen as well second channel is i just look at steam and go oh what's good game what's someone else playing what's sniper wolf reacting to i'll do that and then sidemen is a long time yeah simon's like we have a meeting we'll come up with like two ideas or like five ideas only one of them will be something we do and it will be like one person comes up with the idea and then someone else adds to it and then someone else adds to it someone takes away blah blah stop the actual idea itself isn't the long part it's the it's the making of the line yeah we're done there's actually a cupcake okay bacon's easy that doesn't look done look at the side no i know but then we'll get the spatula give that a whisk now this just looks off-white if you guys have to do long-distance relationship for a year how do you think you'd handle it i'd hate that you hate living seven minutes away yeah i do it's too far um that'd be all right i think no i i compared to how you i mean the thing is if we know it's only for a year it's different like long distance we don't know when it's going to end is i think even harder whereas when you know it's gonna like when you've got a time limit on it it's not too bad is this real blood or is this fake blood it's real it does i don't know if that's food coloring did your thumb hurt i don't know it yeah that's who you're calling me that's what's going that was weird that you did that would either have you ever act in a movie i know you would yeah 100 she wants to like yeah it's not even like oh she would she actually wants to i would yeah although i hate mainstream yeah can i use something to scoop this because i've been using it um i would if it was the right part but the right part i'm trying to think of a character that's that i could be like like chandler yeah without any sad scenes look at the size of mine yeah okay well you've got quite a lot in there it raises oh wow it but i'd use it to my advantage like i'll just see how far i can push the limits of being ksi make the buttercream whisk 150 grams of softened butter oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god 600 grams sifted icing sugar is this already sifted no a little bit at a time please scary times okay stop for a sec oh i love this it's like it's snowing i'm on the wrong channel [Laughter] i'm just going to wash this because i have stuck my tongue on it i did stick it in my mouth should we child do you act the same to each other on and off camera i don't feel like i act the same with anyone like i act right now we're making a video we're not just sat having a conversation it's not like big brother add chosen flavoring are you adding coloring as well or not yeah what color do you want to do am i the same off camera no you are the same personality wise but we we don't act the same to each other off camera no i feel like i'm the same person off camera yeah that's what i mean though i have less energy yeah no you have a lot of energy off camera i feel like everyone in our group is the same on and off camera yeah you're just a more exaggerated version sometimes what do you hate most about each other and then use the angel emoji after it like i hate that talia is too perfect nice simon hates my messiness which i back yeah she's very messy i'm getting better though are you yeah i don't leave my glasses by your bed anywhere near as much i don't come on there's definitely not one by my bed right now one one the fact that you're saying one i use the same glass i wash it off and then i bring it back whereas i used to leave like three that's an improvement okay okay i've gotten better but now you have to say something about me that you i hate yeah he's very stubborn yeah we go far coloring in how many teaspoon tablespoons uh two to three tablespoons i'm gonna leave this on you it was very well measured [Music] and then it's probably gonna go kind of green because the base of the butt is obviously yellow and color theory tells us the blue and yellow mix together makes green they are blue right we put red food coloring in there are you sure you put red in 1 000 whose parents are scarier to meet yours no chance yeah because you're your family apart both of you it's not scary because i'm not whereas like my family kind of working class both of you have seen okay actually okay visually my parents are scarier to me because my dad does look terrifying i get that her dad is a big biker man yeah fair but like personality-wise i i it's more scary than yours i was terrified because i thought they'd think i was like chav we all think that oh i just think they're hella fluffy okay i'm chopping why which mean why so the buttercream can be flat what why don't you just put it over the top because then you have a piece in the middle that's right it'll go up in the middle you've got a nipple what dog are you gonna get chow chow does simon fart a lot no never in front of me you have you saying caught me but you just you tend not to i'm sneaky with it would you guys ever go on i'm a celeb no why i think it's cruel to the like the snakes and the bugs and the rats did that not have to get stopped a bit not as much they eat them live as well do they still i think so that stopped a while ago i mean i haven't watched it in like two years maybe because there was a guy who put his hand in the thing to get a star and a snake wrapped around his hand and he was kind of like okay it's cool and then it bit him then he pulled it out and then they had to take off and they were like oh it's cruelty and i think it'll change at that point you stand there and they throw cockroaches and you step on them like i just wouldn't want to do that i think it's mean time to pipe has simon what the what has simon's work ethic made an impact on you to post more no can you not tell i don't post i'm just gonna do a little swell to start with maybe oh this is hot so off center that's like a psa six just do that just do a little swirl shot all right do something else in just not a penis why because i just know that would be the first thing you go to yesterday i was other yeah where we buy each other joke presents no because you every now and again you get something nice you get you might get you don't know who you're going but it's me i've been in a sidemen sunday have you it was the roast and i was like the topic of the roast just saying i'm really good icing i banged that zigzag would you ever get matching tattoos no damn firing shots i see you would you no god i have no tattoos i'm not against them and i don't no i think i like i would like to get one but i'm scared firstly needles and stuff like that secondly there's nothing that i i don't want to put anything on my body that's gonna like jinx something or be there forever you know what i mean like the only thing i've thought about is like xix right done jeez i think this one's the best i want to eat this one actually i'm going to eat one of the crappy looking ones all of yours no not one of the super crappy little ones there's not enough icing on them how dare you yeah what if the icing's not even good they're very average if you had to be any form of condiment what would you be and what restaurant would you want to be in you know what i'd want to be and it's only just because it's delicious i would i never see the word delicious i'd want to be at burger and lobster i'd want to be the butter dip what counts as the condiment just anything anything dippable anything sauce related wasabi oh that's sushi sambar that would be fire bro that'd be sick i'll be being wasabi would be fun because then people that don't like you yeah well i mean no it wouldn't because then
