foreign [Music] is an exciting action RPG with point-and-click Adventure game elements for the Super Nintendo before it was a video game Shadow run was a pen and paper tabletop RPG sort of like Dungeons and Dragons with a dystopian future setting the world of Shadow run is a place similar to the high-tech sci-fi worlds of movies like AI Tron or Blade Runner in fact the game seems to have borrowed scenes from the opening of Blade Runner for its own intro sequence what makes Shadow run unique is that in this world High fantasy coexists with the technological there are Mages that can cast magic spells Shaman that sell mystical talismans and all sorts of bizarre creatures like shape shifters Orcs trolls and even dragons the Super Nintendo game uses many of the mechanics and ideas from the tabletop RPG and reinterprets them in a way that works for a video game you'll upgrade your character using Karma points purchase better weapons and armor and hire up to three additional AI controlled party members to join you in battle the game setting is filled with colorful characters to talk to and features an impressive dialogue system that allows you to learn keywords that will unlock new options in future conversations talking to these characters is not just about Gathering clues or absorbing the lore of the world you'll find that learning critical keywords is essential to progressing in the game Shadow Run for the Super Nintendo also has some elements from the point-and-click adventure genre you'll need to carefully examine each location for objects to interact with or items to pick up you'll often need these items to get new spells for open up new locations later in the game you'll gain the ability to hack computers and you'll be able to Jack into the Matrix where you can disable security systems open doors or steal valuable assets and information enemy countermeasures protect vital parts of the system it'll be up to you to avoid them Shadow run was developed by Australian Studio beam software and design was led by Paul Kidd the creator of nightshade for the NES Nightshade never got a true sequel but the idea of blending a point-and-click adventure with action-oriented enemy battles is Alive and Well in Shadowrun the game's story is Loosely based on the 1990s Shadow run novel never deal with a dragon by Robert and charette while the game borrows much of the setting and some characters from the book it often goes in its own Direction like in the opening scene where your character is brutally murdered but rescued at the last minute by a friendly shapeshifter the game's story and setting is much darker and more mature than you'd usually see on the Super Nintendo and definitely makes the game stand out there are very few other titles on the system that offer this level of depth and immersion Shadow run released in 1993 to High Praise from critics and it even received awards for best RPG of the Year from several magazines it was louded for being groundbreaking and Innovative but sadly the game did not sell a ton of copies part of the problem was the low number of units shipped to stores and I'm sure that it didn't help when a different Shadow Run game released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. the Sega version is based on the same tabletop RPG but the similarities stop there this is a very different game with a totally different story and mechanics the Genesis game is also good but having two different Shadow run titles on store shelves certainly did not help either of them the Super Nintendo version of Shadow run may not have been a commercial success but in 2012 Jordan Weissman creator of the original tabletop RPG led a successful Kickstarter to create Shadowrun Returns a modern game set in the Shadowrun universe that uses some elements from the SNES game like the isometric viewpoint as a special Kickstarter bonus the developers created a mission that ties together the stories of the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis games in modern times many players and critics have discovered Shadow Run for the SNES and recognize it for being ahead of its time when IGN released their list of the top 100 Super Nintendo games of all time they rank Shadow run at number 77. modern players that attempt this game will still have to deal with all of the challenges retro games are notorious for it's easy to miss a key item or important piece of dialogue that will result in you being stuck until you do some serious backtracking the enemies will show you no mercy as you explore the Mean Streets of future Seattle if you don't have the very best weapons and armor it won't be long until it's game over but what if I told you the best way to upgrade your character so you won't get stuck having to grind for money or Karma points what if I showed you secret glitches and tricks like a way to duplicate items or how to access the secret debug room and what if I told you the best way to defeat every boss even the Guardians of the AI computer well on today's episode of you can beat video games we'll learn all of that and more if you're new to the channel we're doing deep Dives on retro video games and giving started all right Shadow run we're going to start up a new game you already saw the scene where our character was gunned down in the street so it's no surprise that we wake up in the morgue one of the guys that works here doesn't think we look very dead but he has some kind of futuristic paperwork to do so he says we'll take care of him in the morning and they shut the door and leave us for dead thanks to that friendly shape-shifting dog we are definitely not dead but as we roll out onto the cold checkerboard floor we realize that our brain has been burnt and we have a serious case of amnesia in our inventory is a match box from the wastelands club and if we examine the slab we can see that our name is Armitage J and a bit of paper falls out the paper reads warehouse number five you can pick it up but once you've read it you won't need it anymore something you will need is this scalpel over here on the left side toss that scalpel in your pocket and open up the refrigerator on the right to find a slap patch the fridge on the left is empty so we can just head on into the other room and yep we scared the morticians away you'd think it would be a fairly common occurrence for a body to get up and walk off the slab in this hallway you'll find a doorway that is permanently locked there's a lot of those in this game so just make your way outside where we'll have our first real conversation if we talk to this guy with the spiked dog collar he'll give us the firearms and Hitmen keywords and you'll see that now we'll be able to ask about those words in future conversations once you're done talking to this guy you want to follow him because he's going to lead us to our first gun it's down here in this dark alley and yeah it was that guy's gun he's kind of dead now and this guy called us a dreckhead yeah for a minute there I thought he said something else make sure to pick up the Beretta pistol and then press the start button to be able to bring up the menu where you can equip it now you need to press the a button to bring up the crosshairs Point them over the orc and just keep blasting until he's dead whenever you examine his body you'll find a set of armor the leather jacket the armor of one that the leather jacket provides will reduce all damage we take by one point and over here yeah I have good news for you in the future you'll be able to talk to dogs pretty cool and this dog will give us the dog keyword the bad news is the talking dogs have scary red eyes we'll see an ad for a cyber deck which is something we can use to hack into computers but we won't be able to do that until we fix our data Jack so make your way out of the alley and we're going to head straight across back the way that we came out in front of the morgue is a very heavy metal looking fountain with a dragon spewing water over itself and if you open up the corner here we can release the dog that's running around inside that dog will make a whole lot of noise and then he'll drop the dog collar which is an important item that we'll need later to unlock our magic abilities make sure to pick that up and if we talk to this busy man he tells us to get a job well I don't like your attitude guy so guess what you can just kill civilians in this game you can lose Karma points in this game for killing Innocents but we don't have any yet so there's no real risk and over here a busy man casually reads the newspaper as if somebody wasn't just gunned down like 20 feet away I guess that's just how things go in the future very few of the people that you meet outside have anything useful to say but you should pay attention to anyone that you meet inside of a building and in this familiar building we see a dead body now does it seem familiar because we recognize the guy or is it just kind of a normal thing to walk into a room and see a dead body in there I'm not sure but whenever we examine this guy we'll find an important door key which we'll need to get into our apartment and if we head over through this door yep there's a kitchen filled with enemies in here so yeah let's just not mess around with that right now there's nothing that we need to find in there outside we'll see a sign that says this Monorail station is closed for repair but it must just be this one because when we head over here to the left we can see that the monorail itself is definitely still running watch out for snipers that will attack you and this guy had 10 new Yen which is the currency in this world surprisingly in 2050 it seems that people have gone back to carrying paper money in this first room on the right you can find some enemies to fight and most of the other doors here are numbered this one is numbered six and that's the number on the key that we found so we can use that key to open up this wooden door inside we'll find Jake's apartment and that bed is our first save point before you take a nap make sure to pick up the shades and put them on we'll need to be wearing those before the morticians will talk to us over here we can get the messages on our video phone it seems that in 2050 people have abandoned cell phones and started using on the wall pay phones instead if we open up this filing cabinet we'll find 20 new Yen not bad we'll also find a phone number for someone named sassy but we won't be able to use cash on the phone we'll need something called a cred stick before we can use it if we use the bed we'll be able to save the game we don't have any Karma to spend yet but you'll notice that whenever you use the bed it completely refills your health later in the game sleeping in a bed is also the only way to refill your magic points but we don't have any spells just yet if you die you'll have to go back to your last saved game so make sure to save frequently now that we've had a rest let's head over to the game's first bar it's a seedy looking place called the Grim Reaper club and it's right around this corner with a name like the Grim Reaper Club you'd think there'd be a lot of tough characters here but let's see what this place is actually like if we talk to the club manager it turns out that he knows us and he also knows that our favorite drink is iced tea wow I think chocolate milk might be a tougher drink than iced tea what does your wife drink Jake straight shots the Jamaican dude wearing the green dress with the bright yellow shoulder pads can't be bothered right now because he's using the phone and this guy over here has had a pretty bad day and just wants to relax and unwind the club manager has prepared us a refreshing iced tea and we can pick it up over here at the bar now that he served us our soft drink the club manager will have some new things to say to us so make sure to talk to him again you'll be able to learn a bunch of new keywords including hiring which is the term that we'll need to be able to add party members to our team in fact if you happen to have an extra 500 new Yen lying around there's a shadow runner in this very club that we can hire but first let's talk to this busy man who says that we look troubled but by the look of this guy's eyes he may have consumed several Iced Teas before we got here it turns out that this guy is a retired Street doc but I don't think I would want him operating on me we are going to eventually need to find a street dock though but a better one than this guy it seems that after we were shot a few hundred times at the beginning of the game some of our Hardware is damaged and it would also be nice to have a few upgrades this tough looking character is ham Fist and he is a Decker if we hire this guy in addition to fighting for us he can also help us Jack into computer terminals but there aren't very many of them here at the beginning of the game and 500 new yen is a very high price to pay at this point in the game I am going to show you some tricks to get more money ham fist is definitely worth it if you have the cash the next thing we need to do is give the iced tea that we got to this club Patron once he drinks it he'll suddenly become very talkative talking to this guy will yield the tickets keyword but when you ask him about it we'll get several more important keywords Maria and grinder yep that's one thing that this game probably got right they still have Grindr in 2050. when you ask him about it you'll get the Lone Star keyword we'll need that keyword to get the Lone Star badge if we talk to the right people the Jamaican will eventually stop using the phone and will be able to talk to him so we'll have to come back here later but for now exit the club and head over into this small building there are just some enemies and no important items in this first room so you can just leave that one alone out here in the hallway there's a couple park benches and a broken phone so not a very good sign so far but in this room we can meet a businessman this guy looks like he's had a botched lobotomy perhaps performed by the retired Street dock that we met over at the Grim Reaper Club but if you ask him about hiring you'll learn the negotiate keyword and we'll need this keyword to be able to get the negotiation skill later [Music] if you ask him about Firearms he'll sell us grenades for a hundred new Yen each and if you ask him about Lone Star he'll sell us a lone star badge for 150. we don't have enough money right now but there's a trick we can use to get some stand next to the businessman select the leather jacket from your inventory and choose the give option Now quickly match the start button and hopefully you'll return to this menu choose to give the leather jacket again and this time give it to the businessman he'll buy it for a thousand new Yen and when you complete the transaction you'll see a hand that will allow you to give the leather jacket back to yourself when you open your inventory you'll see that you have another one you can do this trick as many times as you need to and then we can use the money to buy the maximum amount of grenades and the Lone Star badge you can do this trick anytime you're standing next to a character that you can give an item to and you can use it to rack up a ton of cash or to build up a large surplus of extra equipment to give to other Shadow runners now I do consider this cheating and being able to have access to essentially unlimited money at the very beginning of the game does make some aspects of the game less interesting so I'm going to be able to show you a way to beat the game without using this trick however if you're not opposed to cheating this is a very easy way to get ahead fast assuming we did not use the duplication trick we're going to have to come up with some money so that we can buy that Lone Star badge and it would also be a good idea to buy at least two or three grenades before we move on to the next area one place where we may be able to find some cash is over here in the graveyard although in the future places like this are very dangerous because the dead often come back to life which is probably why those morticians were so scared earlier the goals here are not a good source of money but they're a very good source of karma points which is what we'll use in this game to level up our character if you damage a ghoul and it goes back underground whenever it resurfaces it will still be damaged so keep that in mind it also may seem like the goals in this area will respawn forever but you can actually clear out this area and the goals won't come back until you exit and re-enter the screen each time when you come back the ghouls will have more hit points So eventually they'll become very difficult to defeat so you don't want to keep clearing out the graveyard forever it'll have diminishing returns as you earn some easy Karma points by fighting the ghouls here in the graveyard you'll notice that there are four Crypts here but they each have a locked door on the front you may have also noticed some cries for help there's one right there well that's because there's a character that's injured in this Crypt and it seems that something sharp could open the lock like the scalpel we found in the morgue so use the scalpel on the crypt door and you'll be able to get inside and there's an injured Shaman inside we need to use the slap patch that we found in the morg's fridge you can carry up to six lap patches and we'll be able to buy them later in the game but we want to use this one right now to help out this guy whose name is Chrome coyote when we talk to Chrome coyote he'll be so grateful that he'll give us a magic fetish [Music] um weird but okay he says that he sees a need for it in our future and that's the truth we'll need the magic fetish to unlock our magical powers and also to open the way to a place called the dark blade once we have the fetish Chrome coyote will disappear into thin air and when we examine it we'll see that engraved on the amulet is a bat when you examine the coffin lids inside the crypts you'll either find some money or you'll find a ghoul just keep examining the coffin until you find one or the other eventually you'll find something whether you find a goal or cash is completely random but we are fairly weak at this point in the game so even just the chance at free money is worth the risk also the goals are not that difficult to defeat and are a very good source of karma points so whatever you get fight the goals or take the cash and we're going to open the other three Crypts there's not anything important in these but there's more of those coffins which may contain cash or goals as we explore the remaining Crypts let's talk a little bit about how combat actually works in this game when you fire your gun the game randomly checks to see if you hit or miss it does not matter how close you are to the enemies it doesn't matter if there's obstructions in your way the only thing that really matters on if you hit or miss is the accuracy rating of your weapon and your firearm skill raising your firearm skill will make you more likely to hit and once you've raised that skill to level six you will hit 100 of the time with any gun that you would actually use the game will let you raise your firearm skill higher than level six but it will be a waste of points once the game determines if you hit or miss it will decide how much damage you deal the amount of damage you deal is random and it can be any number from one up to the maximum damage of your weapon our Beretta can deal up to three damage so it will deal one two or three whenever we shoot something that doesn't have armor most of the enemies here at the beginning of the game don't have armor but if they did the amount of the armor would be subtracted from the amount of damage we were going to deal sometimes the armor is so high that it will reduce the damage to zero and even if you have firearms level 6 if you're shooting a heavily armored enemy it may look like you're missing but you're just dealing zero damage because of the armor this early in the game we don't have any healing magic and we don't have any more slap patches we gave our last one to Chrome coyote so if you take a lot of damage you'll need to head back to Jake's apartment to be able to refill your health we also need to return to the apartment because we gained a bunch of karma points when we were fighting those Ghouls and the only way to spend them is by resting at a bed another way you can gain some quick Karma points is to fight the enemies in this building and if you ever get low on health you can just walk right over here and use the bed I think fighting the goals in the graveyard is a little bit faster but right now we just want to focus our Karma points into the firearm skill which will make us essentially deal more damage because we'll hit more often whenever we shoot to increase any attribute or skill you simply need to spend Karma points equal to the current level so if you currently have level three firearms you need to spend three points to get it to level four and then you'd have to spend Four Points to raise it to level five a total of seven points between the two levels if you do manage to get your Firearms up to level six the next attribute that you want to raise is body each level of body will add 10 HP to your health this room often contains enemies so you'll just want to clear them out pick up any money that they drop and then on the desk in the center of the room you'll find a paperweight the paperweight may seem useless now but later on in the game we'll be able to use it to unlock one of our magic spells inside this second room we'll meet up with the secretary who tells us that her boss is out the secretary's boss is a guy named Glutton and we'll run into him later at a club called the cage the most important thing here is an item called the PCD 100 cyber deck and we'll be able to use it to hack into computer terminals if you try to hack into this one though we'll find out that we have a bit of a problem with our data Jack the data Jack is essential for being able to interface with the Matrix so until we get that fixed we're going to have to hire a Decker to be able to hack into computer terminals the elevator in this building doesn't work and never will so once you have the paper weight in the cyber deck head on back outside the secretary said that her boss was out so maybe we can find him in the club the one that he likes to frequent the cage is located on a dead end over near the graveyard so we'll head over here and there's the graveyard on the left and up here we'll find the stairway that is the entrance for the cage before we go in there though we'll check over here on the right sometimes there's an enemy on top of that building unfortunately we can't get into the cage right now because there's a concert going on inside and the heavy bouncer in front won't let us in without tickets unfortunately the show is sold out and we don't have a whole lot of cash we're going to have to figure out a way to get the tickets but we may have to get a bit creative outside we can check and see if this enemy has spawned yet nope but we can just go back inside and then head right out again let's see if he's there this time all right there he is so there's a hit man up on top of the building here and he's not that difficult to kill but this guy actually drops a significant amount of money compared to the other enemies in the game you can see he dropped 60 new Yen this time without using the item duplication trick this is the easiest way to rack up money here at the beginning of the game so you'll want to collect up enough cash to buy a few grenades in the Lone Star badge so I recommend having at least 350 if not 450 before moving on if you take a bunch of damage head back to Jake's apartment to use the bed did you ever notice that there is no toilet in Jake's apartment yeah I have bad news for some of you in the future only the wealthy Elite can afford toilets so you won't see a single one in this entire game even in large Office Buildings it seems like people just go outside once you have the cash that you need make your way back to the businessman's building and purchase the Lone Star badge first then spend any remaining money that you have on grenades the more grenades that you can buy the easier the next area will be I think I spent about 15 minutes farming money here and by taking those 15 minutes now we can potentially Save hours when we get to the car yards you'll see what I mean when we get there in any case once you have the Lone Star badge and as many grenades as you can grab we're going to make our way back to the morgue the morticians here will think you're the walking Undead if you don't have your sunglasses on so make sure those are equipped and they won't give you the time of day unless you're a police officer so that's why we needed the Lone Star badge now we haven't equipped the Lone Star badge yet so you can see what these guys would say to you without having it on the guy with the brown hair doesn't have much to say no matter who you are you'll get more results by talking to the gray-haired mortician it seems that this guy likes our Shades but is not going to open the locked filing cabinet until we equip that Lone Star badge so go into your inventory and simply use the Lone Star badge I'll tack it onto my pocket and then talk to the mortician again this time whenever we mention grinder he'll ask us if we want him to pull the file say yes after this brief discussion you'll notice that the filing cabinets are open and inside not only will you find the tickets but we'll also be able to get a cred stick the video phones that we've seen in several locations don't take cash you can only make calls if you have a cred stick luckily this one seems to be pre-loaded with money so we can make as many calls as we want nice once you have the tickets and the cred stick if you talk to the mortician again they'll tell you a tale about a dead body they came back to life and walked out of the morgue huh really you don't say once you're done talking to those guys make your way back outside and we're going to return to Jake's apartment now that we have the cred stick we can use the phone there to make some calls and we're kind of low on health so it would be a good idea to use the bed and save the game while we're at it the first time we came to this apartment we found a scrap of paper with a phone number on it for someone named sassy as long as you've examined that piece of paper whenever we use the phone Sassy's number will be available to use the phone simply use the cred stick and then select the video phone Sassy's number is the only one that we can dial right now but whenever you talk to her we'll find out that she used to be Jake's girlfriend but she seems to have moved on she'll give us the calls keyword and when you ask her about it she'll give us the glutman keyword as well as glutman's phone number the glutman keyword is essential we can call glutman's Secretary and until we ask her about glutman he will not appear at the cage and we will not be able to meet him you can ask the secretary about glutman over the phone or in person but it's certainly more convenient to just give her a call from here we're going to make our way back to the cage but be warned once we meet up with glutman we're going to move on to a new area and we will not be able to easily come back here for some time so make sure that you've done everything that you want to do in the 10th Street area or you won't be able to do it until much later watch out for the enemies that attacked you from open windows or peepholes you can take them out if you want to to earn Karma points most of them will not drop money and we'll head past the graveyard and make our way into the cage this time whenever we talk to the troll bouncer we'll be able to give him the tickets so use them from your inventory and then select the bouncer and now he'll let you in if you talk to the bouncer he'll tell you to not do anything stupid and doesn't seem to notice that we came in here carrying a gun and several grenades real high quality security at this establishment if we talk to this busy man he doesn't have a whole lot to say and over here we can talk to the club manager who's a bit more interesting it seems that Glutton is not only here tonight but he's been running up a serious Bill he seems to be waiting for someone could he be waiting for us if we ask him about Firearms yep we certainly were not supposed to bring them inside but it doesn't seem like the orc is doing a very good job of checking if we want to know where glutman is we should probably ask the woman that's been bringing him drinks all night and she says he's over by the band over here we can see Gavin the guitarist Johnny the drummer Maria Mercurial and keyboardist yeah I'm a real big keyboardist fan myself this woman looks just like Jake's ex sassy but when he tells her she looks familiar she does not appreciate it the dancing hippie nearby doesn't appreciate us talking to her either and gets fairly aggressive whenever we speak to him this Shady character is the Glutton guy we've been looking for but once we talk to him we're going to leave this place so let's talk to this guy first he'll give us the ghoul keyword the goal keyword is the key to being able to hire Jenga dance the Jamaican guy that was using the phone over at the Grim Reaper Club once you have the goal keyword Jenga dance will stop using the phone and he'll be available to chat with he's a little bit on the expensive side but if you have a lot of extra money he will give you access to Magic which is something that we just don't have this early in the game one of the spells that he can cast is the heel spell which will restore your health 1500 new yen is pretty far above our budget right now but if you've been grinding for a long time and have a bunch of cash or if you've been using that item duplication trick to get a bunch of money you may want to hire this guy if you don't have all the money in the world but you really want to hire a second party member ham fist who only costs 500 new yen to hire is probably the better deal either way we're not going to hire any Shadow Runners right now so we're going to head back to the club and actually meet up with Glutton this time glutman seems to know Jake pretty well so maybe he can fill in some of the holes in our memory we'll head over here and say hello to this Shady character well glutman has some answers for us but they're not the ones that we were hoping for it seems that people want Jake dead because he has some kind of advanced technology built into his head yeah it's going to be kind of hard to get that out of there but glutman says he can help us I certainly hope we can trust this guy because shortly after speaking with glutman we're blindfolded and taken to another location he tells us that it isn't five star but will like it yeah I sure hope so the area that we're going to is called the car yard but before we get into that I wanted to point out that it's a bad idea but you can sell your Beretta pistol to the businessman for 200 new Yen leaving yourself unarmed it's also possible to make two calls in Rapid successions so that you can move fairly far away from the phone and you'll actually see glutman appear at the club after you talk to his secretary so we made two calls in a row we're going to cancel out of the first one and then we'll make the second one and you can see glutton's not there right now but whenever we ask her about him and then leave this conversation he'll just appear in the chair pretty weird but that's not what I wanted you to see if you talk to glutman and you don't have a gun he'll have a different message for you and he'll give you a weapon called the zip gun the zip gun deals a maximum of three damage like the Beretta pistol but it has an accuracy rating of zero instead of one making it the worst weapon in the game as you can see here the zip gun is not a good weapon but if you simply must have it the only way to get it is to either sell off your Beretta or give it to another Shadow Runner in any case I recommend that you keep the Beretta it will make this part of the game a little bit easier as we get started here in the car yards we can save our game at this bed surrounded by a pile of trash this is going to be our base of operations for most of the game so get familiar with that bed outside we'll find a shanty town built from derelict vehicles and lit by burning garbage cans when we talked to this gang member that looks suspiciously like the secretary from the glutman building she tells us that this place is lorded over by a fascist Monarch that simply goes by the king oh and one more thing the only way to get out of here is to pay the king a large sum of money or to feed him in combat in the local battle arena great this ex-member of the Blue Man Group is more interested in what's going on in cyberspace than what's happening here at the car yards but it's not like you can jack into a computer around here so I don't know what he's so concerned about this random heavy dude already knows our name and when we talk to him he gives us an interesting keyword it seems that a guy named Drake is the one that put out the hit on us hmm this street scum will give us the new Yen key word if we ask him about the king the new Yen keyword could be useful in finding ways to make money on the other side of the Street's gum will find the street dweller it looks like she's wearing one of those sleep masks so we probably woke her up from a nap in any case she doesn't have anything very interesting to say so you can just let her get back to sleep down here in this corner we can meet a little boy who's also the local doctor he says that we're in big trouble and he explains the situation here in the car yards it seems that our good friend glutman probably was paid a nice fee to drop us off here if this kid can Cobble together a thousand new Yen the king will let him go but Jake is worth a good bit more and we're going to need 4 000 new Yen unless we have the negotiation skill four thousand new yen is quite a bit of cash and I'd rather not give that money to a fascist dictator like the king so the other option is to battle him in the arena but when we talk to the guy we can see that he is a ferocious looking orc the king suggests that there are ways to make money here in the car yards but I don't think that the little boy was hiring so I assume that he means we need to fight some battles in the arena the good news is the first few fights in the arena are actually pretty easy but the bad news is those ones don't pay that well and you need to survive to some of the later fights to see good profits if you need to raise your firearm skill you can find enemies over in this area to fight and they'll constantly respawn if you leave and re-enter the screen the first time I got to the car yards I had to spend hours here grinding fights against these enemies so that I could build up enough Karma to survive the more difficult battles in the arena but I want you to know that there is definitely a better way if you don't have a very high firearm score yet so something like less than three you probably should Farm some Karma points here so you can raise that stat but don't worry about raising any other of your attributes right now if you can get your firearm skill up to level five or six you'll be well equipped to beat the early battles in the arena you'll notice that these enemies will also drop some money so make sure to pick that up but it's going to take quite some time to build up 4 000 new Yen just fighting those guys so let's head over to our garbage bed save the game and check out that battle arena we scrape together a few Karma points so we'll spend those on Firearms to bring it up to level four that's a little bit low but we have a few tricks that we can use to make the first couple fights in the arena very easy head out from where your bed was and go up into the right to find the arena whenever you talk to the owner if you ask him about almost anything he'll ask if you want to fight however if you ask him about negotiation he'll offer to teach you the negotiation skill for a thousand new yen we don't have the cash right now so let's fight the first battle this gang member did not get the memo that said you were allowed to bring guns into the arena he only uses a melee attack so keep him running around this Burning Barrel until he gets hung up on it and then you can just shoot him at your leisure he won't be able to get you so just a few more shots and this guy will be history and we'll be able to win our 300 new Yen prize plus three Karma points not bad that first fight was a joke so let's try the next one if you head straight down whenever you fight this heavy dude he'll do more walking around than shooting this will allow you to easily take him out so Target him and shoot him and oftentimes he may not fire a single shot we gained enough Karma points from fighting those two battles to raise our firearm skill again so let's head back to our bed and do that and then we can save the game just in case the first few fights here in the arena will be stopped by the arena owner if your health gets too low so you don't usually have to worry about getting killed but it's still a good idea to save the game now that we have firearms level 5 very few of our shots are going to miss so let's head back to the arena and this time we're going to be fighting another heavy dude and this guy seems to be the brother of the one that we just killed for this guy I like to just stand in one place and start shooting at him yeah we'll take a little bit of damage and this guy has a few more hit points than the previous heavy dude but now that we have firearms level five he's almost too easy [Music] this next fight against the Mage however is a good bit tougher he fires a lot more quickly than the previous enemies what you want to do is stand in this position take some shots at the Mage but what you're waiting for him to do is just stop moving and you'll see that eventually he'll just stand there and he'll let you shoot him dead as long as you're in the right spot you should be able to win that battle with no problem after winning the first four fights in the arena you will have accumulated exactly 4 000 new Yen which is just enough to pay off the king to get out of here but paying off the king is for suckers we can use that 4 000 new yen to buy some better weapons and armor as soon as we get out of this place instead we're going to fight the king in the arena and this battle is to the death so make sure you save at the bed and you may want to raise your body attribute a few points if you have some extra Karma before we battle the king might I suggest that you talk to the little boy about healing so that you can purchase slap patches for 100 new Yen each you can hold up to six slat patches and they are the only way to heal yourself in battle at this point in the game the slap patches that we just bought as well as the grenades that we purchased at the beginning of the game will give us the extra Edge that we need to defeat the king ask the arena owner about the king and you'll be able to fight him as soon as the battle begins wait for the king to stop moving and then pause the game to bring up the weapons menu use a grenade and Target the king then pause the game and immediately use another one keep doing this until you're out of grenades and you'll throw them all at once the grenades always hit and they deal up to 13 damage make sure you're all the way on the left side of the screen after throwing the grenades and just wait in this position keep firing at the king and use some slap patches if you get low on health if you got lucky with the grenades the king might just die but you just need to survive until he runs off the screen to the right so keep shooting him and eventually you'll see him run off the screen so fire at the King fire at the king make sure to stay alive you just lap patches if you need them and that's what we were looking for once he walks off the screen slowly move to the right until he's about half on the screen and you'll be able to shoot him and he won't shoot back at you so just keep firing until the King goes down it's really that easy for our troubles we'll gain four Karma points three thousand new Yen and our freedom which is something that you just can't place a value on so that's it the king is dead Long Live King Armitage with the King out of the way we'll use the bed to save our game replenish our health and we can also spend our Karma points to finally raise our firearm skill to that level six that we've been looking for and with that we can blow this Popsicle stand let's get out of here as we walk back through the car yard we'll notice that the king is no longer guarding the gate however all of these people that had Grand dreams of escaping this place are still here I guess that was all talk outside the car yard there's a Monorail station that can take us back to 10th Street or can take us to the downtown area but before we head into there let's hop into the local Sputnik club and see what's going on this happy customer doesn't say anything that we haven't heard before but this friendly orc will tell us a good spot where we can buy some new weapons ask him about firearms and he'll tell you about the place around the corner he says that this plays Vivian's only sells legal guns but it sure seems like the government gave up on gun control after people started developing magic powers this guy wants to make it abundantly clear that he is not for hire although he is very interested in discussing the Matrix movies with us especially the sequels um not right now bro his blue-haired brother on the other hand says that we don't look too healthy and that we need to see a doctor which feels kind of like a jab if you ask him where to find a street dock he'll tell you about a place called Ed's but he doesn't give it the most glowing review he does mention that Ed does data Jacks so it may be worth looking into this guy's name is dances with clams I can't make this stuff up he is a fairly powerful Mage but he costs a lot to hire and we need to save our money to buy some new weapons right now well I guess he doesn't cost a lot of money but he does insist on a 2000 new Yen donation to the tribal ballroom dancing fund um yeah we'll pass on that for now now if you thought dances with clams was good this guy's name is orifice now in the world of Shadowrun most Orcs And trolls weren't born that way they were normal humans just like you and I and at some point they experienced what they'll call an Awakening or goblinization depends on where you live but they transform into an orc or a troll or whatever so I gotta know was this guy's name always orifice or did he change it at some point by any name orifice is a great value for only 500 new Yen but we're about to go to the store so let's save our money for now as we wander the streets of old town we'll occasionally be harassed by shotguns that pop out of open peepholes which you can shoot back at and occasionally a Hitman will pop out of a dumpster but that's just part of life in these parts this gang member says that she doesn't know us but I think we at least met one of her sisters earlier she says that if we keep hassling her she'll call her boyfriend and she doesn't have anything interesting to say so we'll just leave her alone honestly anyone who's out just wandering the streets in this area must be pretty tough so it's probably for the best and here is the gun shop this woman is trying to pick out something to buy and wants us to know that she likes something a little bit bigger than a pistol yeah I think I'm picking up what you're putting down the shop owner is way too excited about guns and is doing some kind of Talk Like a Pirate thing you know just like a real gun shop owner if you ask him about Firearms he'll suggest that if you don't have enough money he also accepts puppy dogs I guess it's nice to have the option but I don't think that really helps us out the first thing we want to buy here is the mesh wire jacket which will increase our defense from one to two this means that anytime we take damage it will be reduced by two points which is extremely useful there are a number of weapons here but the one we need to buy is the t250 shotgun it costs 15 000 new Yen so you probably don't have enough money right now unless you're willing to use the item duplication trick unless you can afford the shotgun save your money for now this is the Talisman shop when you talk to the owner you'll get the talisman's keyword if you ask him about the magic fetish he'll tell you that he doesn't sell creepy stuff like that just wooden stakes and those sort of things you gotta draw the line somewhere make sure to ask him about talismans so that we can get his phone number it might be useful later as far as the items that are for sale in the store we don't need any of them right now although eventually we will want to buy them all the most important of the three items here is the wooden stake we'll need that to defeat a boss until we have enough money for the t250 shotgun we cannot afford to buy anything else outside of the Talisman shop a few persons are loitering but you can't talk to them so just make your way back towards the car yards take out any enemies that try to attack you as you're roaming the streets is anyone else surprised that the guy that was hiding in a dumpster had 20 new yen in his pocket I know I am and we're just going to head here around the bend and as we walk by the Monorail station there's a street kid that we haven't talked to yet so let's see what he has to say this kid calls us a slick looking Geezer and I can't tell if that's a compliment or not head back through the gate and we'll be able to freely enter and exit the car yard now so if you need to save the game you can always come back here and use the bed for now though we're going to head over to the arena to do fight number five just like the previous Arena fight this one is also against a mage although this guy is wearing different colored clothes this guy should be more dangerous but now that we have the mesh wire jacket the two points of defense that it provides will make this fight very easy you can just stand in one spot and Blast Away that guy was worth 3 000 new Yen and he dealt us a decent amount of damage so we should go back and save the game before we do any more Arena fights the next battle is against a samurai warrior this guy is pretty tough if you don't know the trick he can shoot you from far away but if you keep him close he'll use a melee attack that deals fewer points of damage so that's all you need to know for this one stand right on top of the Samurai Warriors so that he'll use his melee attack and if he moves you move you'll get 4 000 new Yen for defeating him and then we'll take on Arena fight number seven the Ferocious orc ferocious is a bit of a misnomer because this guy is very easy just stand in one spot and keep shooting him he should go down without much of a fight and we had taken a good amount of damage in the previous battle so this one did get a bit closer than it should have but in the end he says help before he Fades from existence we'll pick up our paycheck and head back to our nice cozy garbage bed where we can spend some of the karma points that we accumulated in the arena we need to have strength of at least four to wield the t250 shotgun so make sure to upgrade that attribute at least once you may be surprised to find out that raising your strength score does not increase the amount of damage you deal it just gives you access to heavier weapons and armor it looks like we're a little bit short of the 15 000 new Yen that we need to buy the shotgun but if we sell our leather jacket for a thousand and our Beretta pistol for 200 will have just enough money to buy the weapon we want this guy says that he's ripping us off but nobody's going to give us more money for those items so it seems pretty fair the t250 shotgun has a maximum damage of 8 points per shot but it can also deal as few as one point and any number in between having a higher top end damage will increase the average amount of damage that it deals per shot and it will also help you against armored enemies now that we have the best weapon and armor available at this point in the game it's time to go to the Monorail station and take a ride to the downtown area we've not explored the downtown area yet and it's actually quite large so we'll head into the monorail if you go to the right here you can go back to 10th Street so you want to stay to the left if you want to go to downtown walk up the stairs and just wait on the platform and a monorail will show up when its door opens you'll automatically enter and we're going downtown after a brief monorail cut scene we'll arrive at Daly station daily stations seems safe at first but as soon as you walk onto the next screen you'll be attacked by a couple Orcs these guys were extremely unwise to pick a fight with someone who just bought a shiny new shotgun with his last breath the orc on the right admits to being a member of the rust stilettos gang so you know we're going to be meeting more of those guys will pick up the money that they dropped as well as this mysterious Iron Key it's a small key so we'll put it in our pocket and as we head down the stairs it's another one of those talking dogs he reminds us that we need to seek the dog spirit and we can follow him out of the metro station over here to the left once we get outside we're attacked by another Hitman walking precariously on a high ledge we can take him out to get some money and Karma points and then we'll make our way to the left the first thing that we want to do here in the downtown area is make our way to the local bar the wastelands Club once we get into the wastelands club we are immediately attacked by a ferocious orc so you get the impression that we're on the right track walk along this upper catwalk and eventually you'll find a Stairway leading downwards is that the same band from before what happened to keyboardist bring back keyboardist well in any case make your way downstairs and you'll find that the wastelands Club is one of the best places in the entire game if you want to hire some Shadow runners of the four Shadow Runners that you can hire in this club Norbert is the most expensive he also may be one of the best but he's more than a little bit insane Norbert deals the same amount of damage as frogtung who's also available on the same Club but he fires faster and has higher accuracy so he hits more often making Norbert a very good value if you're interested in hiring people at all sky on the other hand is known as the Jet Boy and statistically he is the worst of the forerunners here he costs a thousand new yen to hire which is the same amount that it would cost to hire Anders who is also a Decker and has two points higher power and higher accuracy that being said of the forerunners here the jet boy is the one that we're actually going to hire if you talk to the club manager you can get the ice keyword which is going to come up later he doesn't have any ice right now so we're not going to be able to get an iced tea in this bar yeah this place is not cool when you ask him about the rust stilettos he tells you that they're hiding out nearby and that's true their Lair is located very close to the wastelands Club Anders with his five power and two accuracy is the better of the two Deckers here but he has a slow fire rate which makes him not particularly impressive in combat he's friends with some other Shadow Runners and is happy to name drop them for us as if would be impressed if you really need a Decker you can certainly do worse but I recommend that you save your money for now over here in the corner we can meet up with frog tongue frog tongue may not seem as good as Norbert at first but his defensive three makes him very robust and he'll be one that survives a lot of battles for only 1500 new Yen frog tongue is an excellent value but we're not really in the market for shadow Runners right now once you're done conversing with the shadow Runners here in the wastelands Club you can make your way outside the same way that you came in so we'll head back up the stairs and follow the catwalk to the exit there's no way to get over to the area where the band is and the people that are dancing in the middle of the floor don't have anything useful to say outside you may notice this object that's a grenade and the pin has been pulled out as Admiral Ackbar would say it's a trap so stay away from that grenade and make your way up here where we'll find the outside of the rust stilettos hideout it doesn't matter what you say to these guys it's going to start a fight I like to hide behind this dumpster so that I can attack the gang member that throws the molotov cocktails before I take on this heavy dude once they're both cleared out move forward slowly because there are more enemies here so we'll pick up the new Yen and here's another heavy dude you don't want to get very many enemies on the screen at the same time that'll make things more difficult for you behind the Second Heavy dude is a locked garage door now we did find a key earlier on the corpse of another rust stilettos member so we should try that key here and like magic the door opens once we get inside we're going to be attacked by more gang members the enemies here are quite difficult so if you get low on health we're going to use the hit and run technique basically the enemies will not respawn here so if we leave this area go to a bed and heal ourselves we'll be able to come back to this room and finish off whichever enemies are remaining I may be pressing my luck a little bit with this last gang member but I think we'll be okay if you have to bail out try to grab any money that was dropped before you leave the room after defeating the enemies in here two more ferocious Orcs will come out of the door try to shoot them quickly and you can catch them off guard before they start shooting at you one of them will drop a crowbar which is a very important item that we're going to need later the enemies in the Next Room are much worse than the ones that were in this room so we definitely need to get to a bed before we move on hopefully we won't get gunned down in the street before we make it back to the car yards so head back out the same way that you came in and make your way back to the bed at the car yards where we'll be able to refill our health and we could spend any Karma points that we earned we did get quite a few there it would be a good idea to raise your body score at this point so that we have some more hit points having more HP will be very useful when we get to that next room as you can see the enemies did not respond and when you get to this room you just want to take out a couple of the enemies do not attack the gang leader in the upper left corner so try to take out this gang member maybe one or two heavy dudes the more you can take out the better but these guys are very dangerous gonna try to grab the money and then just get out of here remember these enemies will not respawn so when we come back here later with full health there's only going to be three enemies in there instead of five so we'll head back to the car yard again we'll use the bed and save the game this is the easiest way to do it if you're doing well clear out as many enemies as you can but save the gang leader and you're going to see why here in a minute with all the money that we found on the corpses of dead gang members we now have enough cash to hire a shadowrunner and we're going to go and hire the Jet Boy now I said that the chat boy is not very good so why are we hiring him well if we take the Jet Boy to the rust stilettos Lair and he survives until after we killed the gang leader in the back room we're going to get a bonus so it's important that we clear out most of the enemies before hiring the jet boy because he's kind of fragile and there's a good chance that he'll die before the gang leader goes down if you left too many enemies alive this time when we get to the back room we are going to go directly for the gang leader as long as the jet boy is alive when the gang leader goes down we will get the bonus so Focus your attack on the gang leader he is the more dangerous of the three enemies anyway so once he's gone this fight will be much much easier and hopefully you can take him out before jet boy dies the gang leader doesn't say anything relevant before he dies but you can see the Decker finds 2 000 new Yen so we got a Bonus of 2 000 new Yen because we had jetboy with us which is a thousand more than it cost to hire him do not miss the password after you clear the enemies here that's the most important thing that you need to find in that back room but it will definitely be nice to have that extra money so bringing jetboy with you is worth it if Jet Boy is still alive after you clear the rust stilettos Lair we can also take advantage of his Decker abilities and we can go back to 10th Street and hack that computer in the glutman building you can always come back and do this later after your own data Jack is fixed but if you have jetboy with you this is a good opportunity to use his abilities just in case you'd forgotten once you exit the 10th Street Station you'll be able to find the glutman building by heading down and to the left so just follow the street and we'll cut across to the left and then we'll cut across this area where the fountain is right by that guy reading the newspaper past the morgue and over here this is the glutman building right through these Brown doors head into the second door here avoiding the first and this is where we can find our first computer terminal to hack examine jetboy to bring up this menu select his cyber deck and use it on the computer will allow you to jack into the Matrix be careful when you're in here if jet boy dies in The Matrix he will die in real life if you follow this path you should be fairly safe so take a zigzagging path towards that pillar on the far right and then go around it along this axis once you've accessed the first one step back out and then access the last one to receive all of the data and then you can press the x button to Jack out once you get back outside you'll see that we got a thousand new Yen as well as a data file that contains some bad news this email confirms that Drake is the character behind the death squads that are trying to kill us so until we take him out we'll never be safe once you have the money in the data file make your way back out of the glotman building and while we're here we can head back to the graveyard where we can find a magic Talisman that we'll use later to get a magic spell so we'll open up the door and we just need to kill a few of the scary ghouls out in this area and eventually one of them should drop a bone they always explode into a shower of bones when you kill them but at some point one of them will remain and there it is make sure to pick up that ghoul bone it will help you get the Powerball spell which is not the most useful magic spell but we're going to get it anyways we can also take a moment to stop by Jake's apartment where we can rest in his bed and save the game in the next section we're going to be trying to fix our data Jack and it's going to activate something called a cortex bomb while the cortex bomb is active you will not be able to save the game so make sure to save now while you have the chance to fix our data Jack we need to meet up with a street Dock and one of the guys at the Sputnik Club mentioned a place called Ed's patch and fix in Old Town Ed may not be the best street doctor in Seattle but we won't be able to get an appointment with a better one until we meet with Ed first the entrance to his office is located here in this back alley which is not a good sign ask Ed about your data Jack and he'll recommend an examination that costs 500 new Yen take him up on that offer and I'll start out by making a joke about finding a needle that's not too rusty oh yeah that makes me feel way better Ed as Ed is operating he loudly exclaims oops yeah we'll file that under things you definitely don't want to hear while someone is performing brain surgery and the loud ticking noise that follows is also way up there Ed seems to have unwittingly activated a cortex bomb which has the terrible side effect of exploding your head if it's not taken care of quickly enough make sure to ask him about the cortex bombs so you can at least get a refund for the examination we're going to need that money later so that we can actually fix this thing repairing a cortex bomb goes far beyond what Ed is capable of so he recommends that we visit Dr maplethorpe we'll need to do it within 30 hours of the cortex bomb will go off so make sure you have the 2000 new yen to pay Dr maplethorpe before you start this Quest the good doctor's office is located in the downtown area fairly close to the metro station you can simply walk right in there at this point in the game but we definitely have time to do a little bit of exploration first so before we head to Dr maplethorpe's office we're going to go and visit the jagged Nails club which is down and around this building and then up into the left Jagged Nails is the Premier Club in town and the bouncers outside will not let you in until you've increased your notoriety by defeating the gang leader in the rust stilettos lair you'll also have to pay them a cover charge of 50 new Yen every time you enter this place so if you're feeling exceptionally Frugal you can skip this for now but once you've repaired your cortex bomb you won't be able to ask anyone about it and you'll miss out on some of the things that people have to say a lot of the bystanders outside have been waiting a long time to get into this joint I hope they're not terribly annoyed when we jump the line and walk right in 28 hours until the cortex bomb goes off and the Jet Boy does not want to accompany us inside so we'll be doing this part solo this waitress doesn't have anything interesting to say because she can get fired for talking too much poof brutal over here we can talk to a bartender who tells us that the other bartender named Cecil is better at socializing so we should head over here and talk to him first we can talk to this Decker whose name is steel flight steel flight costs a pretty penny to hire 5 000 new yen to be exact but he's one of the very best Shadow runners in the game so he's certainly worth it if you have the cash of course none of these guys want to join our party right now because we already have the Jet Boy in our group and with a Charisma score of three we can only have one additional party member we would need to raise that score by at least one point to have two party members and you need to bring it up to six before you can have the maximum of three [Music] spatter is a very inexpensive Mage for only 2 000 new Yen but if he's on your team later in the game he will turn on you the bartender on this side Cecil will teach you the Kitsune keyword and if you ask him about a street dock he'll give you the phone number for Dr maplethorpe he will charge you 100 new Yen for it and you don't need the phone number to get into the doctor's office but if you're trying to collect all the phone numbers that's the only way to get it there's a phone right over here so if we use our cred stick we can call Dr maplethorpe's office right now the secretary will tell you where the office is which is right next to the aneki building so that should be fairly easy to find one of the most important characters in this club is Kitsune she's up on the stage but if you try to talk to her from down below she'll teleport down to your level kids soon a is the shape-shifting dog that rescued us at the beginning of the game so we definitely owe her one she's available to hire for 3 000 new Yen but more importantly if you ask her about dog she'll give us a very useful item the leaves we're going to need those leaves to unlock our magical abilities so make sure to get those before you exit the club in fact the leaves are the last of three items that we need to get the heal spell the other two items are the dog collar that we found near the fountain on 10th Street and the magic fetish that we got in the graveyard now that we know where to find Dr maplethorpe let's make our way to his office remember you're going to need 2 000 new yen to repair the cortex bomb so make sure you have enough cash before you get there if you've been following this guide you should have plenty of money but you definitely don't want to come up short when it comes to repairing the deadly cortex bomb we'll take out the enemy in this peephole and work our way back around this building over towards where the Monorail station is we've been exiting the Monorail station from the lower left side each time but if we exit from the lower right we would emerge in an Open Air Market area and that's where we are right now so you can see the checkerboard floor in the background that will lead you back into the metro station and as usual the people outside here are not very interesting to talk to cut across the market to this area with a crosswalk and take the crosswalk up into the right once you get onto this screen quickly move across the street you can get hit by a car and it will deal you a decent amount of damage if you hurry across fast enough you should be able to get by The Cars before they spawn in and we're just going to follow the sidewalk down here which will lead us to a dead end but this is the building we were looking for it's very well protected for some reason so take out the Hitman enemies in the window and then enter the door on the front before we enter the office outside you'll find a dancing hippie and when you talk to him he says can't stop the weasels are closing in so yeah that was definitely worth it and we'll take out one more Hitman enemy before we go into the office and with that we'll go inside talk to the secretary and ask her about the cortex bomb she may seem very alarmed but if you don't have the 2000 new Yen she won't let you inside will finally meet maplethorpe whenever you talk to him if you ask him about healing you can purchase lap patches here for a hundred new Yen but that is not what's important right now ask him about the cortex bomb and he'll tell you to get up on the table so that he can disarm it immediately once Jake is up on the table and unable to move Dr maplethorpe starts telling him about cyberware that he's selling oh great there's nothing we can do but listen to his pitch although we are going to be interested in buying some of that cyberware so it's probably worth hearing about Dr maplethorpe reveals that there is some very special data that's been biographed into Jake's head computer and there are many people out there that would kill him to get it he doesn't seem to be able to remove the graft so there's not much we can do about it right now on the left side of the room we could see some cyberware for sale and we definitely want the boosted reflexes for 15 000 new Yen those will make us shoot faster we could buy the leadership skill for 3 000 this will give us a new skill and that skill will make Shadow Runners stay in our party for longer assuming that they don't die but at this point in the game that is typically how most Shadow Runners are going to leave your team just like the jet boy did here well it was nice having a friend for a while but I guess we're back to running solo now that we've had the cortex bomb removed our data Jack is totally functional and we've regained the ability to hack into computer terminals using our cyber deck this means that we don't really need the services of the jetboy anymore the next thing that we need to do is meet up with the dog spirit so that we can get our magic abilities online we have all of the items we need to get the heal spell so we just need to make our way to the docks to be able to get it you'll find the dots down in the lower part of the map near the big black building that says Drake on it so head down past this small Cemetery and you will find the Drake building on this screen so this is the one I'm talking about watch out for peepholes and just follow the street there's another Hitman hiding in the bushes take him out and we'll head down here which will take us to the docks there are always a ton of enemies down here at the Docks so be ready for a fight if you're low on health you may want to go back to a bed before you come through here there are several things that we need to do here at the Docks but the most important thing is to get that heel spell so that's what we need to do first head down here and try to take out this Hitman before he notices you watch out for massive Orcs or Mages that could be waiting on the other side we'll take out this massive orc first just in case there are more enemies when we advance the screen then we won't have to deal with them all at the same time so we'll pick up the money and we'll continue this way we don't want to head off to the left we want to stay up here at the top there's going to be more enemies on this screen so we'll take out another massive orc and there's a locked door behind him we're not going to go in that door we want to go in the other door up here so this is where we're going to meet the dog spirit approach the circle and if you have the leaves magic finish and dog collar you'll automatically get the heal spell this will also unlock your magic abilities so now you'll have 10 MP instead of zero when you talk to the dog he will give us our next Quest we need to Vanquish the rat shaman pause the game and select heal from your magic menu and now you'll be able to use it by pressing the x button and selecting a Target the door next to the dog Spirit can never be unlocked so just make your way to the next screen there's a door here that can be unlocked but let's clear out these enemies first most of them are going to be pretty easy to defeat with our current level of equipment so just position the crosshairs over the enemy and mash the attack button and sooner or later they'll all go down we'll pick up the money that they dropped and then we're going to head into the door over here on the right inside will likely encounter some more enemies although occasionally this room is empty oh this time we're lucky in here we'll find a computer terminal that we can hack with our cyber deck select the cyber deck from your inventory and Target the computer it's time to Jack into the Matrix the safest way to navigate The Matrix is to take one step at a time and you can press the B button to attack in front of you if there happens to be an enemy ice there you'll have a chance to destroy it and if there's no ice you'll only take one damage if you do find an ice and you don't kill it if you have a low computer skill you may just want to try to walk around it for now our computers go is not very high at the moment but we were able to navigate that Matrix which allowed us to steal 2 000 new yen in addition to the money we also got a data file and when examined that file reveals that the program that's locked inside of our head computer is some sort of anti-ai program so that's what everyone is trying to get interestingly here in 2050 it doesn't seem like there's very good AI I think the people in this time would think an Amazon Alexa was some sort of sorcery this program could give a big Edge to whichever Corporation can gain control of it so it's no wonder that so many enemies are trying to kill Jake the next thing we need to do is defeat the rat Shaman but before we do that it would be really nice to have those boosted reflexes that are sold by Dr maplethorpe but we need 15 000 new yen to get them the easiest way to make money of course is to fight more battles in the arena back in the car yards so we're going to make our way to the metro station and ride the monorail back to the old town area when we get there we're not going to go directly to the car yards instead we're going to take a quick detour to the gun shop so we can pick up a few grenades having a nice stock of grenades is going to give us an edge in one of the more difficult arena battles I recommend buying five or six grenades the amount of money that we're going to win will more than make up for the cost of these items [Music] once you've stocked up on grenades the next few Arena fights are quite dangerous and they will go to the death so make sure to save the game first and use any Karma points you have to buff up your magic abilities each point of magic that you have will give you 10 MP which will make it a lot easier to cast your heel magic and restore your health the next fight against the gang leader is a tough one you want to head over to the left side of the Arena this will cause the gang member to make smaller circles and it'll be a bit easier to get a Target on it be ready to cast your heel magic this guy can hit hard but he slows down after a while and that will give you an opening just make sure to keep your health high and you should have no problem taking him out you'll want to save your game again before the next battle this one is even more difficult than the previous fight the troll Decker is by far the most difficult enemy you'll face in the arena as soon as he stops moving you're going to unload all of your grenades on him a lot like we did against the king except this time we have more of them the grenades have potential to hit very hard but the amount of damage they deal is still random five grenades is usually enough to kill the troll Decker but sometimes you'll come up a little bit short so be ready to Target him and finish him off with your gun for our troubles we gained four Karma points and 7 000 new yen that leaves only one more fight in the arena but before we get to that let's save the game and we definitely have enough cash to purchase the boosted reflexes so let's go and do that next this is also a good opportunity to use the karma points that we earned in the arena Dr maplethorpe's office is of course located fairly close to the metro station in the downtown area right down the street from the aneki building watch out for the enemies that guard the entrance and once you get inside because we've already cleared the cortex bomb we need to ask the secretary about cyberware to get in so start a conversation with the secretary Express an interest in cyberware and she will open up the door for you once the door is open you can go inside and we're going to head over here to the left where we can purchase the boosted reflexes for 15 000 new yen one thing that's nice about cyberware is that it works regardless of which weapons and armor you have so whenever we sell our t250 shotgun and get a better weapon we'll still be able to get some benefit from the boosted reflexes the boosted reflexes will allow you to fire your gun more quickly so make sure to quickly mash the attack button whenever you get into combat or use a turbo controller if you have one available you can shoot very quickly using whichever gun you have equipped with the power of the boosted reflexes we are ready to take on the rat Shaman and complete the next part of our Quest the rat Shaman's Lair is conveniently located near Dr maplethorpe's office head over to this Open Air Market and take this small path down in the bottom the gate on this small cemetery is locked until you get the rat keyword watch out for ghouls that pop out of the ground and make your way inside in the first few rooms of the Rat Shaman's Lair the giant rats that you encounter will only have a melee attack and if you attack them from far enough away they'll just sit there and take it until they're blown to bits exterminate all of the rats from far away and you'll be able to get a nice bit of karma for essentially no risk so there's still another rat over here on the right side we'll take him out from far away and then we'll collect our three Karma points nice there are two pads that you can take out of that room but this is the one that you want the rats won't be quite so easy in this room these ones can launch projectiles at you so the strategy here is to try to fight one or two rats at a time the more rats that are on the screen the more they'll be shooting at you and their projectiles can disrupt your attack so your best bet is to take them out one at a time if you notice that your health is getting low hang back and cast your heel magic and if your magic points get low just like in any other dungeon in the game you can always leave rested a bed and come back the enemies will not have respawned there are two ways that you can exit this room so we're going to take this path to get to the boss this is the boss's room trying to take out all of the giant rats before engaging with the rat shaman much like the Rat King and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the rat Shaman is not a rat he's just a guy that spends way too much time in the sewers with rats and there he is in the middle of the room the rat Shaman will have trouble attacking us in the corners so if we run over to here we should be able to take out the remaining giant rats without dealing with the boss there's still one giant rat left down here and we are in the line of fire now but all of the rats are cleared at this point and it's time to take on the shaman himself from this position you should be able to keep the shaman on screen while he runs around the most dangerous thing that the rat Shaman can do is cast the free spell on you which will lock you in place for a moment and disable your weapon just to be extra safe I recommend casting your heel magic anytime you dip below 50 Health you don't want to get Frozen and end up taking a ton of damage only to die before you kill the shaman when the rat Shaman goes down it's revealed that he was being puppeted the entire time by some sort of Jester and the only way to defeat the jester is to learn his true name to do that we're going to have to fight a vampire over at the dark saber Mansion so that's going to be our next Quest now we have not fully explored this area yet so if we head around the bend here and go up these stairs or if we don't fall off this ledge and stay up here we can go up to this area which leads to a dead end but we can check it out anyways there's a few giant rats in this room that we can fight for karma points but that's pretty much it up here there's a reason why we avoided this room on the way to the bus we didn't want to waste any health or magic points just fighting these guys when it was not mandatory to do so the rats in this rumor actually quite mean so unless you're really interested in the karma points I recommend avoiding these guys and just heading out of this dungeon we can explore the area a bit there is nothing in this room and there is one other room that we haven't explored yet so we'll check that one out on the way out of the lair so we'll head over here and that other room is up this way so if you're exploring this dungeon to get to the bosses Lair you just want to always go to the right stay away from these paths that lead up and to the left those are the red herrings in this room there's a few more giant rats yep you guessed correctly there's a whole bunch of them up in this corner and these ones are all the variety that shoot projectiles at you so certainly be careful if you choose to come up here the rats won't be able to deal so much damage to you that you'll die suddenly so as long as you keep casting your heel spell whenever your health dips down low you should be fine fighting these guys just watch your magic points you don't want to be caught without any when you need to cast a heal spell and that's really all there is to the rat Shaman's Lair but before we leave this dungeon it is worth noting that if you have Kitsune with you when you defeat the rat shaman she will agree to stay in your party until she dies so she'll never naturally leave her summoned Spirit spell is also quite good against the rat Shaman you can keep her hidden around a corner where the shaman won't be able to hit her and she can use the summon spirit spell from there it does a good bit of damage and this is another way to defeat this boss if you're having trouble fighting him thank you after defeating the jester you'll get the normal cut scene where you'll get the jester Spirit keyword but shortly after that you'll get this special scene where kitsuni says that we make a great team and says I better stick with you now someone has to look after you sigh conveniently you can now ask her about the vampires and the dark blade and pick up a few useful keywords if you don't have kitsuni on your team you'll have to meet her over at the jagged Nails Club to get those words we're going to need to stop by the jagged Nails Club anyways to get the strobe lights so it's not a huge Time Saver make sure to save the game over at the car yard and we can also take this opportunity to spend any Karma points that we've earned while we're here we might as well finish the final fight in the battle arena but before we do that if you're interested in getting the negotiation skill make sure to ask the arena owner about it now it costs a thousand new Yen but it can save you a lot of money if you're interested in hiring other Shadow runners once you complete the last fight the arena owner won't talk to you anymore so that's your last opportunity to get that skill the replicator seems difficult but if you know the trick he's actually pretty easy start the fight by heading to the right side of the arena and allow the replicator to make copies of himself now run over to the left only the real replicator will follow you over here to the left so you'll know which one he is and you can easily take him out if any of the copies made it over here to the left side you can clear them as well but if any of them will run to the right they'll stay over there and the replicator won't be able to copy himself anymore if he has too many copies already in play once you take out the main replicator you can head over to the right and finish off the copies and they'll go down quite easily this guy is very difficult if he's allowed to constantly copy himself because it's hard to keep track of which replicator is the real one she defeat the real replicator we'll be able to clean up the copies and finally finish off the battle arena this last fight will give us the biggest prize 8 000 new Yen and that's it no more Fighters left you is one tough dude the battle arena is a great way to make large sums of money in the early game but later on we're going to need to rely on our hacking skills to be able to get more cash with the money that we procured in our last Arena fight we can head over to that Talisman store and pick up a few of those items the most critical one that we need to buy is the stake we're going to need that to defeat the boss of the dark blade which is where we're going to go next it would also be a good idea to pick up the blue and purple bottles and if you have enough money to buy the Black Bottle as well with a pocket full of talismans we can make our way back to the dog spirit and now that we've defeated the rat Shaman he can give us some more information about the jester it seems that this Jester spirit is a very powerful enemy however if we're able to harness his power it could be the one thing that can give us an edge against Drake foreign boss in this game so we're going to want any Edge that we can get and while we're here we'll also gain the Powerball Spell assuming that we have the goal bone and the paperweight I'm not a very big fan of the Powerball spell it sort of works like a magic grenade but it's very hungry for your MP and you'd rather save those valuable Magic points to cast your heal spell and later the invisibility spell whenever we get it one odd note about the Powerball spell is if you take the time to level it up the splash damage near the explosion will be higher than the explosion itself so keep that in mind if you plan to use the Powerball spell often we're gonna mostly save our magic points for something else we need two items to defeat the next boss one of them is the stake that we just purchased at the Talisman store and the other is a set of strobe lights that you can only find at the jagged Nails Club just like we have to do every time we go into this place we have to pay a 50 new Yen cover charge there's just no getting around it so pay the man at the door and head on inside and getting the strobe lights is actually a little bit tricky to do it the first thing we want to do is talk to Kitsune so let's call her down from up on the stage and start up a conversation if you ask her about the jester she'll give you the critical dark blade keyword and if you ask her about dark blade she'll give you the vampire's keyword you can ask her about vampires too but that's the last important keyword that you'll get from her now armed with these new keywords we can head over here and start a conversation with Cecil ask him about vampires and you'll get the strobes keyword when you ask him about the strobes he'll tell you that he doesn't know where the old ones are but they're around here somewhere now we need to head over here to the other side and ask this bartender about the strobes he'll offer them to you if you promise to bring them back so just say yes and now we have the strobes item which is going to be very important when we get to the dark blade now if we head over to where the dark blade is we still won't be able to get inside to do that we need to talk to Moon River from the Talisman shop and so we can either go there in person or give them a call if you ask him about the dark blade he'll give you a new phone number that you can use I'll also tell you that vampires can be defeated with a stake made out of wood which is probably something you could have figured out on your own use the new phone number that you got to call the dark blade this guy doesn't seem very interested to talk to us at first but when you mention the magic fetish suddenly he gets very excited and says that he'll open the gate for us perfect that is exactly what we needed hopefully you were able to follow that convoluted chain of events that leads to getting into the dark blade mansion it all starts with talking to Kitsune to get the dark blade keyword now I also have some good news for you you don't have to go all the way back to the car yard if you want to save the game you can just head up here to the hotel it will cost you 50 new Yen so if you're feeling Frugal you may want to just make the walk back to the car yard inside you'll hear some ominous music but the hotel owner explains it's just some Shadow Runners blasting that racket enter this room and you'll find nothing but a bed inside but that's really all we need with our Karma points we want to focus on our magic attribute but I guess we can throw a few points into the negotiation and computer skills since we may use those a little bit in the future we'll save the game and then make our way out of the hotel the other rooms in the hotel are all locked and you will never be able to open the doors so just head outside and if you want to get to the dark blade we want to head back to that Open Air Market area and instead of taking the path that leads to the rat shamans Lair we're going to take the other path on that same side so head down here to the right skip over the path that leads to the rat Shaman and take this path which will lead us to the front gate of the dark blade Mansion watch out for enemies that throw Molotov cocktails and just like the guy on the phone said the gate will be open now we could walk in the front door but once we get through the gate we now have access to the game's best weapons and armor store it looks like this gun shop is owned by Charlie's creepy Uncle from Always Sunny in Philadelphia but he has some pretty good stuff for sale unfortunately a lot of it is just not in stock yet and will have to complete more of the game and come back before we can get the really good stuff he does have one gun that we may be interested in the uzi 3 sub machine gun but unfortunately it costs quite a bit of money the uzi deals the same maximum damage as our t250 shotgun but it does have slightly better accuracy although that's not why it's good you see the uzi is a fully automatic weapon so you don't have to mash the fire button when you use it you can just hold it down and it will fire quite quickly if you're not opposed to cheating you could use the item duplication trick here to get enough money to buy the uzi so just for demonstration purposes I'm going to sell my t250 shotgun and quickly press the start button to bring the menu up again that will allow me to sell it and also keep a copy and if we do this just a couple more times we'll easily be able to grab enough money to buy that Uzi if you're trying to beat the game without cheating I do not recommend saving up money to buy the uzi it costs way too much money and it's just not a big enough upgrade compared to how much money it costs the t250 shotgun will be plenty good enough to get through the next couple areas and then we'll be able to upgrade to the HK 277 which is a much better weapon than the uzi so if you're willing to cheat do the item duplications and we're going to try out that Uzi right now and if you're not trying to cheat I do not recommend that you waste time grinding enemies so that you can afford this piece but let's equip it and see how it works so we'll use the uzi there's no damage stat that you can see in your menu so you'll just have to take my word for it that the maximum damage that the uzi can deal is eight and when we get inside you can see how fast this thing can fire so that increased fire rate is definitely worth something now I'm going to reload my previous saves so that we can go back to before we did the item duplication trick and you'll see that the t250 shotgun is almost as effective against these enemies but it is nice to not have to mash the buttons whenever you're fighting them so let's go back to our good old t250 shotgun we're going to be getting a lot more use out of that piece and we'll go inside the front door instead of just randomly shooting this guy let's talk to the Mage at the front at first he won't give you the time of day but whenever you mention the magic fetish he's like oh did you say you had vintage Hot Topic merchandise for sale why didn't you say so it's the first door on the left if you start a fight with that guy instead you won't be able to meet with Vladimir in this room and he's going to give us the Bremerton keyword early so if we wanted to we could go to that area before we finish this one to get that keyword we're going to have to give him the magic fetish first so we can select that from our inventory and hand it over we won't need it for anything else of course doing all of this is totally optional and it just allows us to get a few keywords early if you don't get the keywords now you'll still be able to get them later whenever we meet up with the vampire in the basement after you hand over the magic fetish ask him about the jester spirit and you'll get the Bremerton keyword but that's not all he'll also give you the name of the jester near Wanda well that was easy although suspiciously after you give him the magic fetish and we have that conversation he walks directly through a solid wall for now I guess that's okay because he left the computers in this area completely unguarded and now we can use our cyber deck to hack into them of the two computers in the room this top one is certainly more important you want to head up after you get to the first gate and receive the data from this top pillar that's all you need to do and you can jack out and find 10 000 new Yen added to your account not bad if you use your cyber deck on this other computer we won't be able to find any money but we will be able to get an interesting data file this system is also fairly straightforward just head straight across to the right take out one ice in your way and download the data from this pillar then you can simply Jack out and you'll notice that we have a new data file in our inventory called dfdb jester whenever we examine it we'll find out that Vladimir lied to us near Wanda is not the Jester's name oh man that vampire is definitely going to pay for this treachery whenever we exit Vladimir's office it seems that the enemies are now on high alert make your way across the hall to the right and when you get into this room don't walk too far into the doorway you want to take out this cruel Man enemy first and then move farther into the room where you can take out this samurai warrior you don't want to fight too many enemies at the same time if you can help it once the Samurai warrior has been neutralized take out the last cruel man on the right and then we'll be able to pick up all of the money that the enemies have dropped and when you examine the corpse of the Samurai warrior you'll find a mesh jacket not bad strangely you'll never be able to sell that particular mesh jacket at a store it's like it's tainted or something but you will be able to sell the one that you're currently wearing make sure to pick up the bronze key over on the bookshelf before you leave we're going to need that to get downstairs once you have the mesh jacket and the key you can exit this room and back in this hallway we can take out this Mage now he won't want to talk to us anymore so he's of no use to us and it might be nice to collect some Karma points and some money so we'll just shoot him down and once he's been defeated we're going to enter that room right in the middle of the hallway that is our next destination we'll grab this 70 new Yen not bad and we'll head into this large room there's no enemies in here so make your way into this room on the left there are some enemies here in the kitchen you'll want to take out the Samurai warrior first because he fires a lot more quickly than the cruel man enemies if your health gets low don't be afraid to use your heel magic but these bad guys aren't that tough so you should have no problem getting through this room once these guys are defeated we'll pick up their money and this room is a little bit tricky you need to head back to this corner and then walk forward that'll bring you to this locked gate and this is where we need to use the bronze key once the gate is opened we can head downstairs down here in the basement will be attacked by a ton of these aggressive ghoul enemies they seem fairly dangerous at first but if you can get to the other side of one of these coffins the enemies will get hung up and they won't be able to walk towards you this will give you a great opportunity to pick them off and earn some Karma points unlike the scary ghouls that we fought in the graveyard at the beginning of the game these ones will keep respawning forever if you just sit here and most of the time they won't be able to get to the other side of the coffin making this a great place to earn Karma no matter how many times these ghouls respawn they won't gain hit points like the ones in the graveyard so they'll remain easy to defeat you don't even have to pay that much attention to defeat these guys just watch for the occasional goal that will get through and you should be totally fine now obviously you can do this all day if you wanted and this is one of the better level up Loops in the game but if we want to move on I am going to show you an even better way to level up later in the game so you don't have to waste too much time here right now we'll just finish off a few more of the ghouls up here and then we're going to head down into the left which will take us to the next part of the basement if you're not trying to earn Karma points the best way to deal with the goals is to just run away from them they're not really that fast and if you head up here this is a dead end so this is not the way that we want to go although this could be another good spot to hang out if you want to try to earn some Karma points you can really do it anywhere down here but there are a few spots that are a little bit better than others once we get these ghouls out of our face we can head back in the same way that we entered this room and the real way that we need to go is down the stairs which will take us to the boss's room so head right down here and follow these stairs and once you get into the vampires room you want to reverse up the steps a little bit that will give you a good vantage point to attack these Ghouls and they won't be able to get you from here the vampire itself will send some bats in your direction and they can deal you a little bit of damage but the ghouls can really mess you up so you want to take them out first and then you'll be able to freely enter the room once the ghouls are defeated let's use those strobes it takes a second for the strobes to take effect but you'll see a message that says ARG I can't see and then you need to get close to the vampire and use the stake you won't be able to use the stake without the strobes so you need both items the first time you use the steak he'll give you that same BS about the Jester's name being near Wanda but we already know that he's lying about that so use the stake on him again this time when you ask him about the jester Spirit he'll give you his real name Lachlan after that if you want to you can use the stake on him a third time which will finish the vampire off I recommend that you show this guy no mercy because you'll get four Karma points and 5 000 new Yen for finishing him off once the vampire is defeated make your way out of the dark saber mansion and head back to the docks we haven't been to this area in the lower left yet so that's where we're going to head now whenever we get down to this narrow Pier we're going to be attacked by a massive orc make sure to take this guy out because he's going to drop a useful item the explosives that we're going to need later this orc is well armored so it may take quite a few shots to finish him off just keep shooting and eventually he'll go down grab the explosives and then we can have a chat with this boat driver the vampire gave us the Bremerton keyword but when we asked the boat driver about going there he says that sadly it's not possible mermaids in the water will attack you when you ask him about mermaids it seems that they prefer warm water so we just need to figure out a way to cool off the water near the docks to do that we need to head back to the wastelands Club strangely if you stand in this exact position we can talk to this busy man earlier in the game the club manager here mentioned that he was waiting for a shipment device and it just so happens if we ask this guy about ice he can sell us some for just a hundred new Yen not bad he'll ask you where you want it to be dropped off and if you tell him to drop it at the Docks that will cool the water enough to keep those mermaids at Bay before we move on it's about time that we purchased the last Talisman at the Talisman shop the black potion bottle it's fairly expensive at 6 000 new Yen but we're going to need it to get a very useful spell so it's going to be worth it in the end once you tell the ice vendor in the wastelands Club to dump the ice by the docks you'll be able to go to Bremerton but that's going to be a challenging dungeon so before we head over there we may want to pick up a few more spells to get some more spells we're going to need more magical talismans so we'll head back to the 10th Street area where we can fill the potion bottles that we bought from the Talisman shop with clean water at the fountain so head up to the fountain in front of the morgue you can open the little gate at the top where we originally lit out the doggy this time we're going to head to the Fountain and you need to get close to the water and then select the potion bottles from your inventory use the potion bottles on the water fountain and that will get us a sample of clean water but we'll also need a sample of toxic water but we can't get that just now while we're here we should talk about the debug room stand on this sidewalk to the right of this lamp post and bring up your inventory examine the match box and if you hear it make a noise examine it three more times if it doesn't make a noise close your inventory and keep trying until it makes the sound once you had it make a noise four times enter the morgue and examine the matchbox again it should make a sound another time the next time you examine the matchbox you'll notice that you can open it instead of examine it and that will bring you here to the debug room inside you'll find a bed where you can save the game some dog food that'll make you invincible and if you talk to these waitresses they'll give you a ton of cash and Karma points and by the time you talk to the mall you will have quite a collection in your inventory you'll also notice that along the back wall there are a bunch of open doors and if you go through one it will teleport you to a different part of the game like this doorway that will take you to the final Tower so that's pretty cool once you've opened up the debug room you can return there at any time by using the matchbox but I'm going to assume that you did not cheat by talking to the waitresses in that room unlocking the debug room is of course totally optional so once you've collected the clean water from the fountain you can make your way back to the docks before we visit our good friend the dog Spirit now that we've dropped the ice off we can get a new item on this screen we're going to have to take out these enemies first they're kind of in the way so clear out the Mages and then head down the stairway and that's where you're going to find the mermaid scales these mermaid scales are very easy to miss and they will not be here until you've unlocked the Bremerton area there's one more thing to collect here at the Docks and it's up in this area that we haven't visited yet watch out for massive Orcs that'll block your way and open up this door to access another room the room appears to be mostly empty other than a bunch of shipping containers but when you get to the top you'll notice a conspicuous looking woman and when you approach her she'll transform into a deadly octopus the best way to fight this monster is to attack from this position from this spot the monster will keep throwing water balls at you which will only occasionally deal one damage if you stand in different spots it will send out water that will attack you and that can deal quite a bit more defeating the octopus will yield three Karma points and 2 000 new Yen not bad but that's not all she'll also drop a pool of black ink and if you have the Black Bottle from the Talisman shop you'll be able to use it to pick it up when you examine the bottle now you'll see that it contains Incubus ink interesting now that we have the ink from the octopus and the mermaid scales we can return to the dog spirit and he'll give us the freeze spell the free spell will allow us to lock an enemy in place for a short amount of time and it will also immobilize that enemy we won't use this spell that often but when it does come up it's going to be very important there are a total of six spells in the game and once we gain freeze we'll have half of them after we clear out the next area if we get all of the items we'll be able to add two more spells to our list since we just got it let's experiment with that free spell you can see how it immobilizes an enemy and makes them vulnerable to an attack it only works on one enemy at a time though so this is the kind of magic that we'll probably want to save for boss fights the free spell will last longer if you level it up but that will also make it cost more magic points this is probably worth it but we're not going to be using the freeze spell right away so we can wait a little while before leveling it up now we just need to make our way back to the pier taking out any enemies along the way this time when we talked to the boat driver and ask about Bremerton he'll tell us that he can take us there or he'll tell us that he won't take us there but we can rent his boat for a thousand new Yen and then we can drive ourselves to Bremerton that seems like a pretty good deal so paid the man and he'll step out of the way and we'll be able to set sail for Bremerton Bremerton is a real place outside of Seattle but here in the game it's mostly just a large derelict ship once you get on board make your way down and to the right and head across the deck there's a disturbing amount of damage to this ship and there are a number of doors but all of them are rusted shut so you can just walk on by watch out for gang leaders take them out and continue to head across there's a gang member here and you'll want to attack him quickly with your t250 shotgun before he has a chance to swipe you too many times with his claws once he's defeated keep walking up and to the right and there's another gang leader that'll get in your way but eventually you're going to come to a Stairway and that will take you to the upper deck now just take the high road back the way that you came watch out for a few more gang members that'll Ambush you over here these guys can attack fairly quickly with their claws but our armor seems to absorb most of their blows pick up the money that they left and continue on when you get to the next area there is another gang member and there's also a friendly looking doggy take out the gang member first and when we approach the dog to pet it nope this dog is not friendly he is actually quite vicious so you'll need to take him out and then he'll drop some dog tags we'll need those dog tags to get another magic spell the only door in this area that can be opened is this one and you'll need to use the Crowbar that we found in the rust stilettos Lair to get it open once you get inside quickly shoot at the two poison ooze enemies and then flip this switch on the wall that will open the door below there's going to be a number of switches here on the ship so that first one was to just get you used to the mechanics if we head up here and cross this bridge to the left we'll go back through the room we were just in but in the upper part of it that's going to take us to a long stairway just follow it along you can't really get lost here that'll bring us to another stairway and this time there's some enemies attack them from up above and then move along there's probably going to be another enemy when we get to the Next Room and once we reach the next stairs yep there's another ferocious orc here take him out and remember if your health gets low use your healing Magic grab the money that this guy dropped and this time when we get to the bottom it doesn't take us to another stairway it takes us to this small room that features a safe you'll need to take out the Ferocious Orc in here he drops the key that we need to open it up and he also gives us three Karma points which is quite nice grab the money that he drops and you'll find the safe key underneath the cache that's very sneaky use the safe key to open the safe and inside we're going to find the Detonator you should have found the explosives back at the Docks if you did whenever you pick up the Detonator it will automatically combine with the explosives to form the time bomb we're going to need the time bomb later on in the Bremerton chip so make sure that you get it before moving on as we head back into the stairway a massive orc attacks us this time the massive orbs seem to have more hit points and more armor than the Ferocious Orcs so they're slightly more difficult there's one of the Ferocious variety up here this guy should be a good bit easier to defeat watch your hit points and make your way up the stairs and make sure to pick up any money that the enemy dropped we're going to need that cash later when we enter this stairway we've encountered a ferocious orc and a heavy dude it's been a while since we've seen a heavy dude and this is a much beefier one than we've encountered before take him up first and then Focus your Firepower on the Ferocious orc once the stairs are clear collect the cash and make your way back up in the next stairway there's going to be not one but two massive Orcs And that first one went down quite quickly we may have gotten a little bit lucky there you can certainly notice the difference that the boosted reflexes make we are certainly firing our t250 shotgun a lot faster than we were before with the time bomb in our pocket we can head back through the ship and when we get back to this room we can head down this way this time this passage branches off in three different directions we're going to head over here on to the left and this room we'll take out a red poison news and when we enter the next room we'll encounter a gray poisonous this one is a little more dangerous it will throw water at us and behave sort of like a smaller version of the octopus boss whenever it's defeated it will drop some toxic water and if we have the potion bottles we can use them to collect it we now have both clean and toxic water and we'll be able to use those samples to get a new magic spell beyond the toxic water will find another large stairwell clear out the enemies on it and make your way to the bottom when we get to the second part of the stairway there's a few massive Orcs for us to take out but interestingly there's a switch next to the door this time it looks similar to a light switch hmm we'll come back to that later in the Next Room we'll find more stairs more enemies and another switch by the door let's take out the enemies and make our way to the bottom of the stairs when we get to the bottom of this stairway we're going to find another small room with a safe this time though instead of only one orc guarding it there's four and these Orcs are invincible well sort of you won't be able to kill them with Conventional Weapons to remove the Orcs we're going to need to flip some of those switches flip this one and the bottom stairway first then head through the door and you're going to have to climb up the middle stairway and flip the switch at the top it's likely that the enemies will have respawned so take them out collect any money that they drop and make your way to the top we'll have to take out this massive org just to get him out of the way and whenever we flip this switch it's going to open the water hatch closing the air lock and opening the water hatch will kill the Orcs but now we need to reverse the process so that we can go back into the room so use the switch again and then go down to the bottom of the stairs where we can use the switch in the Next Room this is the only way to kill the four Orcs in the room with the safe but it's also possible to get past them by bringing a shadow Runner with you they can cast the invisibility spell and then you can simply open the safe without them even noticing you were there with the Invincible Orcs nothing but drowned bodies will be able to use the time bomb to open the safe so use the bomb place it on the safe and then get out of the way so that you don't take any damage once the safe has been opened up we'll be able to get the green bottle that contains toxic dissolver we'll be able to use that in a later part of the ship once you have the toxic dissolver make your way back up the stairs we're almost to the end of the ship now take out the Mages that are in our way those guys are a lot easier than the massive Orcs so it's always nice when you see Mages instead of the other guys take out this Mage first since he's easier to remove and it doesn't seem like this massive orc has even noticed that we're here it's like I'm shooting at this guy and he's just standing there well I guess no one ever said Orcs were smart so we'll pick up our cash and make our way to the top of the stairs in this next stairway there's no enemies this time alright well that's new and different when you get to the top of this stairway make your way to the top door in this room and it'll take you back to the middle path in this area once you get over here we're going to take this door over on the left there's a gang member in here so quickly shoot him down and then we'll be able to walk through this hallway and head up to the right there's nothing in this next elbow shaped room so just walk on through it and in this next t-shaped room if you head over to the left it will connect back to this room but we avoided this room on purpose because that green enemy is very annoying and hard to get around without making damage in here we're assaulted by some more gang members give them a good blasting and we're going to head down and to the right if you head straight across that'll take you to where this gang leader is but that's just a dead end so you don't really need to go that way you'll want to head down here just to pick up the cash that he dropped and when you get over on the right side flip the nearby switch to open the door the hatch will pop open and you'll be able to make your way into the Next Room just pass through this small space and in here is where we're going to need the toxic dissolver you can use it on these green enemies to remove them strangely the toxic dissolver only works on the green enemies in this particular room once they're out of the way head down here and press the switch on the right over on this cluster of switches flip the one on the right side but don't flip the one on the left that will cause the bombs in this room to all explode and will save you from taking some damage pass through the portal and you'll enter this strange area inside you can fight this green Naga it may be a good idea to use your freeze magic because this Naga has a decent amount of hit points and a good bit of armor keep shooting at it and eventually it will go down and you'll be able to collect four Karma points watch out in this area though because there's a bunch of ghouls that can pop up and you don't really want to mess around with them right now make your way to the top of this room and follow the path along that will take you to the Bubble Room in here you can kill the individual bubbles but you won't have much luck fighting the large clusters I recommend that you just run through here because we're almost to the jester boss once you get in here it's time to fight the jester this guy can deal some serious damage so make sure you equip your heel Magic quickly run up and walk to the lower right corner closest to the jester from this vantage point he should be able to shoot him and he won't hit you with very many of his magic attacks you are definitely not safe here though so if you take too much damage use your heel magic once the jester calls you a fool you can stop shooting him instead switch to the hand and talk to the jester you can talk to him about several keywords but the one that you really want to use is of course Lachlan whenever you use the Jester's true name he will be automatically defeated giving you seven Karma points and then you'll be able to talk to him again to get the volcano keyword as part of the deal because we know the Jester's true name he will allow us to summon his power one time we'll need to use it against Drake so make sure that you ask the jester about the Drake keyword so that you can get the volcano keyword you're going to need it to be able to chase after Drake once you're done chatting with the jester make sure to pick up the jester Spirit item and then wait patiently in this room for a portal to drop down from the sky you need to pass through this portal to trigger some important events in the game so walk on through and it will take you back to the docks we found a few magical talismans on the ship and now that we have the toxic water and the dog tags we'll be able to get two new spells from the dog sensei so watch out for the enemies in this area clear out any that get in your way and then make your way up into the left we'll grab this cash we're certainly going to need some more money very soon because once you go through the portal at Bremerton it will unlock new weapons at the dark blade so keep that in mind we're going to need some cash to buy that stuff head on up to this door and go inside and as you approach the circle you will automatically get the invisibility and summon spirit spells summon spirit is an offense spell that costs quite a few magic points to cast it costs 10 at the first level and two more for each additional level it can deal a good bit of damage and it can attack enemies from around corners so it does have its uses but it's nowhere near as good as the invisibility spell the invisibility makes it seem like the enemies forgot you were there you can just shoot them and they won't fight back it doesn't make you completely safe from damage so things like explosion damage can still hurt you but while you're invisible enemies just won't attack you so you'll be mostly safe to get the invisibility spell you need to have clean water from the 10th Street Fountain and toxic water from the ship at Bremerton it's not required that you get either of these spells to finish the game but aside from the heal spell invisibility is the spell that we're going to use most often once you've collected these spells we can make our way back to the hotel we've done quite a bit since we saved the game so it's a very good idea to stop here and rest up at the bed we should also have quite a few Karma points to spend in the next few areas we're going to be doing a lot of computer hacking so I recommend that you build your computer skill up to six if you haven't already [Music] raising your computer skill will help you deal with enemy ice and when you have it on level six you'll almost always be successful when you attack enemy counter measures although you can never be 100 percent passing through the portal behind the jester in Bremerton will unlock a new cyberware Option at Dr maplethorpe's office so ask his secretary about cyberware and she'll let you in and you'll notice that now you can purchase dermal plating for 6 000 new yen dermal plating adds a permanent plus two to your defense and this stacks on top of whichever armor you're wearing for only 6 000 new Yen this is an excellent value with dermal plating and a decent set of armor many enemies won't be able to damage you at all and you'll be able to walk through the streets like an unkillable juggernaut and you can see our armor score is now four although we're just wearing the mesh jacket which only provides two I had mentioned before that passing through the Bremerton portal will unlock some new options at the dark blade gun shop and when you get there you'll see that now you can purchase the HK 277 and also the partial bodysuit we want to get both of these items but unfortunately we don't have enough money for either of them right now however there is a little trick that we can use to get some more cash when we pass through that portal it reset a few things in the game so we'll sell our extra mesh jacket for a thousand new Yen and then if you go back into the mansion and go all the way down to the basement you'll notice that the vampire has respawned so get your strobe lights ready and here's another way you can fight the vampire just quickly run into the room get close to him and use the strobes and it will make all of the ghouls disappear whenever they take effect it's safer to attack them from the stairs but that's another way you can do it and now just get close to the vampire and we'll stake him three times after you stake him the second time you do need to ask him about the jester Spirit or the game won't let you kill him so don't forget to do that on this one so we'll ask him about the Jester's period very quickly the game just wants to make sure that you got the real name and then you can stake him for the third time why would we bother killing the vampire again you may ask well to get the four Karma and 5 000 new Yen reward now that we got that money we can go back to the Gun Shop sell off our t250 shotgun and we should be able to buy the HK 277 assault rifle but that's not the only thing you can do with this trick if you are willing to walk all the way back to the portal now you won't encounter too many enemies along the way so you just have to walk there you can technically pass through it again and when you return to the dark saber Mansion the vampire will have respawned another time you do not need to fight the jester again you just need to walk to the portal and after you pass through it and go back to the basement you can stake that vampire again the whole thing is kind of time consuming but the rewards are decent I'm going to assume that you only killed the vampire twice but if you want to build up some Karma and money that's another way you can do it later in the game the strobes item will be removed from your inventory so if you want to do this trick you should do it now with our shiny new assault rifle and our dermal plating it's finally time to take on Drake but where could we possibly find that guy hmm maybe in the huge building with the massive sign on the front that says Drake yeah this guy is not subtle as you approach the building you'll start to notice the effects of the dermal plating enemies are trying to attack us but they can't seem to deal Jake any damage you'll even notice that when you get inside and fight this Mage he keeps trying to shoot Jake but nothing's happening that's because our armor is just that high and we don't even have the partial bodysuit yet there's no button on the wall to activate these elevators instead we need to use our cyber deck to hack the computer on the desk let's Jack into the Matrix entering this system requires the password that we found in the rust stilettos Lair way earlier in the game if you have it the path will be opened automatically I recommend that you go all the way to the bottom here there's only one ice down there and then you can easily make your way to the crystal blow it up and unlock the elevators enter the elevator and you'll be taken up to the second floor as soon as the elevator doors open be ready to cast invisibility on yourself these Samurai Warriors can be defeated without it and our equipment is certainly good enough however they attack with rapid fire weapons and will deal you significant damage so it's much easier to just turn yourself invisible and totally decimate them if your invisibility wears off if there's only one or two enemies left you don't have to cast it again but you may want to just to be safe we've been spending our Karma points to raise our magic attributes so that we can cast more spells but the Drake building has six floors and a roof that you need to get through so if you do get low on Magic points don't be afraid to leave the building and come back after you've rested in a bed just like every other dungeon the enemies will not have respawned on each of these floors we'll need to clear out the enemies and then we'll need to find a computer terminal that we can hack to activate the elevators so that we can get up to the next floor on the second floor the computer that we're looking for is over here on the right side because of our little invisibility scheme the enemies just aren't as dangerous as they used to be but we could take a lot of damage in The Matrix make sure to heal yourself before you dive in and Jack out if you get low on health in this Matrix you only need to access the pillar in the upper right and then follow along the top take out one ice and access the crystal you don't need to hit every single thing inside each system some of it's just a red herring that computer activates the elevator but if you want to get some cash there's another computer up here that we can hack into in addition to money we can also find a fragment of the dfdr file but until we have all of the pieces we won't be able to read it head down the third row from the left there's only one ice in that one and then carefully walk around this row so that you can hit all of the pillars oh we walked into an ice that's bad news if we take more damage from an enemy ice we may need to jack out and try again after you clear the last pillar on the right side make sure to retrace your steps so you don't hit any other ice and then head over into this Matrix on the right side there aren't as many ice over here and only one pillar that we need to grab once you have it Jack out of the Matrix and you'll find that we have 8 000 new yen in our account and a piece of a data file if you examine the dfdr 1-4 file you'll see that it's a fragment and you'll receive an error message so we'll need to find the other pieces of that if we want to read it and we took quite a bit of damage in The Matrix so we do need to heal ourselves before moving on if you cast heal magic don't forget to re-equip your invisibility magic so you don't accidentally cast heal when you get to the next floor as soon as we exit the elevator on the third floor we're going to be attacked again so use that invisibility magic and take out the Samurai Warriors I don't know about you but if I was being attacked by an invisible assassin I would take cover somewhere and maybe fire my weapon in their general direction maybe you'd hit the guy instead these enemies just kind of Mill around and allow us to pick them off this guy says fools I'll destroy you all yeah sure you will buddy sure you will with those enemies out of the way it's hacking time we only need to hack into the computer in the middle of the room to re-enable the elevators however there are two other computers on this floor that we could potentially Jack into one of them contains a fragment of the dfdr file and the other one contains nothing so that one is essentially a trap and you should stay out of there this terminal is labeled letter A on your map and all we need to do is head to the right in this one go up the right side hit this pillar which will open up the way to the crystal below so then we can just head straight down the path will be unlocked there's an ice here we need to make combat with and then if we head over here to the left we can disable the Crystal and that will open the elevators at this point I recommend just getting into the left elevator and riding it up to the next floor but if you simply must get the second piece of the dfdr data file we need to dive into this computer over here on the left computer terminals are dangerous but if you're smart you should never die in The Matrix always Jack out if your health gets low the worst thing that could happen is you would have to go back to a bed to heal yourself but that is certainly better than dying in this one we just need to hit the pillar on the left side you can ignore the one on the right and that will open up a path that leads over here and in this Matrix we need to hit the pillar on the left side again once you hit the two left pillars you can jack out and that will give you the data file the other pillars will just create trash data which will be immediately discarded this is computer C there is nothing in there that one's a trap so just avoid computer C do computer B if you want to and computer a is the one that you need to get up to floor number four once again we're going to use our invisibility spell to keep ourselves safe from these enemies you'd think with all the cybernetic enhancements these guys could have at least one of them would have some kind of heat vision that they could use so that they can see an invisible attacker being able to detect heat signatures would actually be very practical you would be able to see in the dark and it would help you see around objects and walls well nobody has that ability in this game so you're totally safe with your invisibility spell pick up any money that the enemies dropped and this time there are only two computer terminals on this floor one of them will open up the elevators the other one will give you another fragment of the data file computer a looks quite conspicuous up here in the corner all by itself use your cyber deck and Jack in but make sure that your health is high before you enter the Matrix you don't want to die in there like they say in the movie if you die in The Matrix you die in real life in this one we're going to head up and we want to find the pillar on the right side so go all the way up to the top and hit this pillar that will open up the lines then we're going to head down here and that's the crystal that we're looking for to open up the elevators access the data in that Crystal and then Jack out that will allow you to get to the next floor but before we go if we want to visit computer B it's down here towards the middle of the room so we'll head over here in this cubicle use our cyber deck on computer B and this one just contains a fragment of the data file there is no money inside this terminal the good news is if you want to get this data file you don't have to do a whole lot just head down and go across to the right watch out for an enemy ice in the corner and hit this pillar down in the bottom that's the only one you need to access and you'll be able to obtain the data file the rest are just trash data now if you had spatter with you he's a mage that you can hire at the jagged Nails Club he will betray you as soon as you get to the fourth floor of the Drake building and you'll have to fight him to the death now surprisingly your invisibility spell works against him too so yeah maybe he shouldn't have done that it's not like he's never seen us do this before in any case if you have spatter with you you won't have him when you get to the fifth floor so when you get up here use your invisibility spell once more and take out all of the enemies once you finish picking off the enemies on this floor we will be very close to the top of the Drake building there are only two computers to access on this floor one of them will open up the elevators and the other one contains money so you'll probably be interested in both take out this Last Samurai warrior and then pick up all the cash that the enemies have dropped we took a good bit of damage from the last computer system that we were in so we do need to heal ourselves before we jack into the Matrix something that you should be aware of whenever you go into computer a is that it does not just unlock the elevators we also need to open up the level 6 node if we fail to unlock the level 6 node we'll have a problem when we get upstairs the computer that we need is in the middle of the room but this computer computer B on the map contains 10 000 new Yen and the last piece of that data file that we've been trying to assemble this system will look familiar but this time we need to hit all four pillars to be able to get the data file and the cache so we're going to head all the way to the right carefully work your way down the right side access the first pillar to get the data and then this one will open up the way to the right side track the same way that you came follow the path and there are two more pillars to access here we do want to hit both of them get the data from this one backtrack the same way that you came in and then walk down this way we took some damage from that ice but once you hit the fourth pillar you can jack out and you'll see that we obtained the data file and ten thousand new yen there are actually two data files in there the one that we've been putting together and another one called Volcano according to this file the aneki corporation has been developing an AI computer and apparently the program that we have in our head could destroy it the other file gives us the phone number for Drake so that's interesting let's head over to computer a so that we can unlock the elevators in the level 6 node this is one of the most complex systems that we have hacked yet and there's quite a bit that we need to do in here make sure not to miss anything first we're going to head over to the right and we'll need to go up so go up and head over to the right side so that we can access that pillar once you've accessed that it will open up the lines and we can go down to the bottom where we can access the crystal this will unlock the elevators but remember we still have to do that level 6 node so hit the crystal which will destroy all of the ice in that region but there still could be ice up here so you need to be careful make your way all the way up to the top and you want to access the pillar on the right side you don't need to worry about the one on the left then you can jack out that will activate the elevators and disable the level 6 node it's time to head to the top floor and that brings us to Drake building level six make these enemies feel the wrath of the Invisible Man by casting your invisibility spell and then pick them off one by one remember that the Samurai Warriors are a bit more dangerous here but the Mages are actually easier to kill so it doesn't really matter too much which order you kill them in neither of them can see you if you have the invisibility spell active there's only one guy left so we won't bother casting our invisibility spell and he's leaving us alone right now so we'll pick up some of this money before we finish them off take out the Last Samurai warrior and up here on the sixth floor there's only one computer terminal for us to hack and it's actually a very easy one assuming that you disabled the level 6 node downstairs will cast our heal spell before we Jack in just to be safe it would be a real shame if we died at this point and we'll head up here to this lonely computer where we can use our cyber deck once you get into this terminal you'll just need to make your way over to the right where you'll be able to enable the elevators and if you disable the level 6 node your path will be open and clear there are of course some ice in here but there aren't that many especially if you go down to the bottom there's just that one down there and then you can walk freely over to the crystal it's that simple once you've finished that round of Minesweeper make your way to the left elevator and ride it up to the roof you'll notice that there's a video phone on this floor which we can use to make some calls you'd think that an office building like this would need more than one phone but I guess that's just how it is in 2050. when you walk out onto the roof you will immediately be attacked by some automated sentry guns Believe It or Not Your invisibility spell works against them too you'd think that with all this futuristic technology someone would be able to find a way to engineer a gun that could see an invisible assailant but I guess not so turn them to scrap metal and head to the right over here you'll find a helipad and when you talk to the helicopter pilot if you mention the volcano keyword he'll whisk you off to Drake's volcano lair you can talk to the helicopter pilot once you're there and mention the Drake keyword to get back here to the Rooftop but before we go all the way to the volcano we should go and spend some of that money that we found in those computer terminals Also let's use that phone number that we got for Drake and give him a call we'll put our cred stick into the video phone and see if this phone number is for Real and Drake is a dragon well we should have probably known that he doesn't have a whole lot to say but you know when that hotline bling that can only mean one thing surprisingly getting to the roof of the Drake building will unlock a new Option at the dark blade gun shop you'll now be able to buy the fully concealable jacket the jacket only provides four defense which is fewer than the five that you'll get from the partial bodysuit which we're able to afford now so skip over the fully concealable jacket and make sure to buy the partial bodysuit you'll be very glad you did before we fly off to the volcano let's stop back at the hotel and use the bed so we can spend our Karma points and save the game at this point in the game it's a good idea to raise your freeze spell we're going to be using that against the next boss you'll also want to spend some more points on Magic the more points you have in Magic the better once you're ready to go make your way to the helicopter pilot ask him about the volcano and it'll be time to head to Drake's lair the Drake volcano is the most dangerous dungeon that we've encountered yet so make sure that you have the best equipment you should have the HK 277 assault rifle the partial bodysuit and dermal plating if you don't have those three things this could be difficult but you can still get by by using your invisibility spell so you can use that as a backup plan you'll also want to make sure that you've raised your computer score to six there are a lot of nasty computer terminals in this place that can totally fry your brain if you're unprepared here in the Drake volcano you'll encounter a lot of these scientists most of them are harmless but you won't be penalized if you decide to blast them that room is a dead end and outside were attacked by a troll Decker the enemies here on sub level 1 are unable to penetrate our partial bodysuit dermal plating armor combo but when we get deeper down into the volcano we will fight some more dangerous enemies this room is a dead end so just make your way across to the right in the next hallway if you head down into the left you'll find a door that connects back to the hall that will take you to the elevator but we don't want to go back up to sub level one instead we're going to walk past these other two doors and head to the lower right in here we'll find the next elevator that elevator will take you down to sub level two but it's inoperational right now we'll need to hack a computer to be able to access it the computer terminal that we're looking for is located in this small room once you get inside a scientist will alert the guards that's pretty annoying but I think that that scientist is going to wish that he didn't do that use your cyber deck on the computer and Jack into the Matrix in this system we'll not only be able to restore functionality to the elevators but we can also find a data file head over to the right first and make your way to the pillar on the right side you'll want to just follow the path along to the right and make sure to attack each space so that you take out any enemy ice in your way just walk one step at a time attack step attack step attack you'll take one damage each time you attack an empty square but that's really not very much it's a lot better than just walking into an enemy ice and taking the full damage just don't move too quickly even with a computer skill of six you're not 100 against enemy ice and the last thing you want to do is have combat fail and then you take a step right onto the ice and take more damage that's how you can end up dead once you get out of the system we can find this data file it just says that the rust stilettos gang failed to take out Jake and that is something that we definitely knew already you can see that that alert is going off so the troll Decker is back if you want to make the alert go away you need to head to this room over on the left this is not mandatory and you could just take the elevator down to subfloor level 2. in here we're going to use our cyber deck to hack this computer on the right luckily if you are interested in disabling the security alert it's very easy to do once you get into the Matrix you're going to head straight across to the right there are two ice in your path so make sure to take them out and once you clear the second one head down here and go over to this pillar on the right which will open up the lines on the left follow the path down here go straight down to the crystal unlock it and Jack out and you'll see that the alert has been silenced not like that makes a huge difference but it is something that you can do once you're done make your way to the elevator and head down to sub level two remember if you run out of magic points in any time you can always ask the helicopter pilot to take you back to the Drake Towers roof and then you can heal yourself at a bed he'd hate to die and have to hack all of those computers again there is nothing in the computer terminal on the left side of sub-level 2 so you can just avoid it and you want to make your way through this room on the right this scientist threatens to blow everyone to bits and he's totally serious about that so you should shoot him immediately once you get to this room there's another troll Decker but he is still unable to penetrate our armor so we'll be safe as we pick him off from a distance just like on the previous floor we need to hack a computer terminal so we can activate the elevators and then we'll be able to get down to sub level three this is that computer terminal so use your cyber deck Jack into the Matrix and get ready for another exciting battle in cyberspace they say If you experience Deja Vu that something is probably changed in the Matrix but this looks exactly the same as the one that we just went through to disable the security system upstairs watch out for the ice near the crystal disable it and Jack out and that's all we actually need to do here on level two it's certainly one of the easier floors we'll take out this troll Decker to earn a few Karma points and pick up some cash and then we're just going to continue following the path down and to the left this will take us around and there's a scientist operating a sentry gun here if you want to stop him from shooting you you need to take out the scientist it's not mandatory that you kill this guy you could just get onto the elevator but if you want him to stop blasting you with that gun that's one way to silence him sub level three is much more complex than sub level 2 was there are five computers that we're going to hack here one that will unlock the elevators but several of the other ones contain a ton of money and we can really pick up a lot of cash here there's nothing to find in this room on the left so you can just skip it and make your way across to the right when you get in the Next Room you'll find a scientist that will run away from you you can shoot him or avoid him but this guy knew what he was getting into when he took the job at Drake's volcano this guy's behind the fence so we'll just avoid him and head down here to the left and you're going to go into this small room there's nothing in this room but we want to cut through it and that will take us here there's a pretty good computer in this room if we hack it with our cyber deck we can find 25 000 new Yen and if 25 000 new yen is not a good enough prize for you we can also find a data file in this system so I highly recommend that you check this one out make your way straight up watching out for enemy ice and we're going to go across to the left you can go either way here but I like to take this upper path take out the ice and follow it down to the lower left where you'll be able to hit this pillar and that will open up the lines now reverse your path exactly the same way that you came through and follow across to the right we're going to go up here and over to the right where we'll activate this pillar and that will open up the lines on the left we do not need to access all of the pillars here just the one in the upper right corner and you'll be able to get the 25 000 new Yen and the data file it looks like this a necky guy is very upset that Jake is still alive but that is just too bad for him we'll use a heal spell to restore our health and we haven't used any magic yet in this dungeon so we're doing quite good if you head through this door that'll take you back the way that you came and we want to head up here past the scientist with the sentry gun and we're going to take the other path this time this path leads to a room with three computer terminals for us to hack the first one here on the right only contains a data file and you may think well I'll probably just skip that one but this data file is better than most others it contains a phone number for akimi the mage akimi is the most expensive Shadow runner in the game to hire but she has all six of the game's spells and a lot of magic points so hiring her essentially doubles your pool of magic points examining the file will get you that phone number we certainly don't have an extra 10 000 new Yen just lying around right now but we might later in the game so it's good to pick up this number use your cyber deck to dive into this computer terminal and we'll be able to find some cash in here there is still better equipment in this game that we don't have yet and it costs a lot of money so don't skip these computer terminals you want to get all of this new yen that one only contains five thousand so it's one of the lower computers around here but before you move on to the next room we can jack into this computer where we can find twelve thousand new Yen and another data file you'd think that a computer that contains 12 000 new Yen would have some better countermeasures but this one's actually quite easy just head straight across the middle taking out any ice in your path and access the two pillars at the end it's that simple you'll need to access them both to get the money and the data file if you hit all of the computers on this floor you'll be able to collect 42 000 new Yen which is quite nice but the one computer terminal that you definitely need to access is this one this is the one that will enable the elevators this system is fairly straightforward but there is a lot of ice in here so if you fail combat a few times you may need to jack out and heal yourself hit this pillar head back up to the middle and then you're going to go straight up to hit this pillar which will open up the lines that lead to the right and then this path will take you to the crystal that you need to enable the elevators once you hit it you can jack out and now the elevators will be active this room connects to the hallway that goes along the side but the way that we actually need to go is through the door at the top so head up through here and once again the elevator is guarded by scientists operating sentry guns these ones can't damage us again so just walk right by them and make your way to sub level four level four is the final floor and features maximum security when you head out into this area there's a bunch of those scientists operating sentry guns and those can't damage you however there's a troll Decker here that can absolutely damage you so once he gets on the screen you want to take him out first you can mostly ignore the other enemies they won't hurt you at all but that troll Decker is a problem if you are not fully armored with the partial bodysuit in the dermal plating I recommend casting invisibility through here the way to the boss is through that door at the bottom but if we head up here to the right we can find another magic Talisman and the best place in the entire game to earn Karma there are three hallways here the first two have a normal Naga for you to fight and those are the green variety you want to aim at the naga's head and you should be able to take these guys out fairly easily but use your heal spell if your life gets low remember you want to shoot at the head don't try to shoot at the bottom once you defeat the two green nagas there is a gold naga in the third hallway the best way to defeat the gold Naga is to get behind it and if you get far enough behind it it won't be able to hurt you but you won't be able to reach the head you can shoot at the body as much as you want and you won't kill this thing you need to shoot the head so you can try to mess around with it by just shooting it while it's partially off the screen that will look like it's damaging the bus but this is not an effective strategy so instead you need to move a little bit closer or at least wait until it gets closer to you so we can just kind of wait here for a second and the Naga will get closer or we can walk near to it and it's going to start shooting at us but we need to put shots on its head this guy is kind of annoying because your crosshairs won't stay on the head so you do need to manipulate that a bit once you deal enough damage to this guy he'll die and you're going to get six or seven Karma points and he'll also drop an item do not pick up the item the item that he drops is the serpent scales and they're actually tricky to pick up so it's hard to do it by accident you want to avoid picking up the item because we're going to be able to kill this guy over and over again to earn Karma points now I know you're probably thinking it took quite some time to kill that gold Naga and you did have to use a heal spell to get back all the health that you lost well wait do you see what happens when you go to the room at the end of the hallway and come back remember don't pick up the serpent scales or the gold Naga will not respawn this time when we fight the gold Naga we'll barely have to shoot it at all just point the crosshairs on its face hit it a couple times and it'll go right down giving you the full experience Point reward now we can just go back to this corner room and return as many times as we want to and we'll earn six or seven Karma Points each time the reason that we get a different amount of karma Points each time is because the game keeps track of partial Karma so sometimes we'll get enough partial Karma to get six full points and sometimes we'll get enough to get that seven so most of the time you should get six points but you will get seven occasionally if you want to get the final spell in the game you do need to eventually collect the serpent scales but the spell that you get the armor spell is not even that good so you may want to consider never collecting the serpent scales so you can do this trick whenever you want you can always come back to the Drake volcano if you need to for now we're only gonna do it one more time we'll try to pick up the serpent scales you'll notice that they seem to slide away from you when you try to collect them but just keep trying and eventually you'll be able to pick it up once you're done earning Karma points from the gold Naga you may want to consider going back to the helicopter pilot and flying back to downtown so that you can use the hotel and save the game we are very close to the most difficult boss in the game and if you mess it up and die you'll have to hack all of those computer terminals again and you won't have an opportunity to spend all of the karma points that we just got so it may be a good idea to go back to town but if you're feeling confident walk by the enemies that are shooting the sentry guns at you and head through this door in here we're going to encounter a bunch of those troll Decker enemies and these are the variety that can actually damage us so we'll need to take them out one at a time to stay safe you can also use your invisibility spell but it's not that hard to take these guys out if you do get low on health you can use your heel spell and refill we have plenty of magic points to spare remember though you're going to need some magic points when you get to the bus so don't spend all of them and if you run out of magic go back to town and get some more hey at least we finally found some enemies that can actually deal damage to us it was getting a little bit boring there for a while when nothing could actually hurt Jake we'll collect the money although I think we're actually doing pretty good on cash right now and you want to make your way along the path and you'll find a door over here in the upper right so just follow along and this is going to be the last room before the boss avoid these scientists by just running past them if you move quickly they won't be able to hit you with their grenades and make sure that you have a decent amount of Health before you pass through this door this is Drake as soon as you get in here equip your freeze magic and use the jester Spirit then you want to walk diagonally up into the left let the jester Spirit do his thing be ready to cast your free spell on Drake as soon as the jester is finished so we've positioned the hand over Drake's head and now we're going to freeze him Drake can deal you a ton of damage if he's unfrozen so you need to keep him frozen solid for the entire fight if you notice your free spell is starting to flicker stop shooting and get ready to cast another one as soon as he unfreezes you want to freeze him again now you may be able to defeat Drake without freezing him twice and that's what happened here once he's taken enough damage the screen will Flash and all that will be left is his Ashen corpse he only lived once but that was his motto with him out of the way we can open the door to meet Professor Pushkin whenever we talk to Pushkin and ask him about Drake we'll get the aneky keyword Pushkin will give us a password that will let us get into the aneki building until we've talked to him we won't be able to turn on the elevators there and that's it with Drake defeated the last thing we need to do is infiltrate the ineki building and destroy the AI computer you'll be flown back to the roof of the Drake building make your way down to the bottom and then we can head back to the docks where we can get our final magic spell if you have the mermaid scales and the serpent scales approach the circle to get the armor spell the armor spell creates a shield that can absorb up to 30 hit points of damage and it only lasts for 5 seconds per level generally I think the invisibility spell is better than armor but if you had two or three other Shadow Runners and you wanted to cast armor and then use Jake as a distraction that strategy might work from fighting the gold nagas we should have built up a lot of karma points and let's see how we did 59 nice we're going to need six strength to use the highest level armor so make sure to Max that out and then put as many points as you can into Magic you may want to max out your invisibility spell and if you have a few points left over you can throw them into whichever various spells and skills you have left the next area is the final dungeon so this could be the last time we use a bed completing the volcano will unlock all of the weapons and armor at the dark blade now we can purchase the as7 assault Cannon and the full bodysuit of the two the as7 is much more important we can use our invisibility spell and the enemies won't attack us at all so the additional armor is not nearly as critical having the as7 which deals a maximum of 20 damage will make a huge difference in combat especially against armored enemies make sure to pick that up we have some extra money lying around so we'll stop by Dr maplethorpe's office to purchase the leadership skill we don't really need the leadership skill but by purchasing it we will have all of the skills in the game whenever you hire additional Shadow Runners eventually they'll decide to leave your party if you have the leadership skill they'll decide to stay in your party longer the higher your leadership skill is the longer they'll stay now this doesn't count if they die it only affects when they leave the party of their own free will if you don't plan on hiring very many Shadow Runners you probably won't get much use out of the leadership skill once you're done in Dr maplethorpe's office make your way around the corner and you'll be standing right in front of the in-necki building our final destination this Hall Monitor demands to see your pass I have an as7 assault Cannon bucko I'll Zap for a hall pass take out these enemies and once they're all clear you can make your way inside a lot of these ferocious Orcs won't even be able to damage you and you can see how good the as7 assault Cannon is look how much damage we're dealing to these enemies these fools never had a chance take out the last ferocious orc pick up any money that they drop and make your way inside whenever we get inside the aneki building there's not going to be anyone in the front hallway it looks like there's nothing there but there's actually a hidden computer on the desk there it is your cyber deck to hack this computer because we met with Pushkin we'll be able to get into the system if you came here earlier you'll be stuck behind a wall and you'll have to Jack out we have definitely seen a system like this one before follow along the bottom and make your way to the right really good security you guys having a system like this one is like making your password one two three four five in the upper right corner there's a strange yellow dot that seems to be a computer you can't do anything with it but it's definitely there once you've opened the way the left elevator will open and you can step in and head up to the second floor as you exit the elevator equip your invisibility spell there are a lot of enemies in the rooms ahead as you head over here to the right cast your invisibility and then start picking off the Samurai Warriors and massive Orcs this is almost too easy if you have the as7 you don't actually need to cast invisibility to survive these rooms but it'll save you magic points in the long run and make this a whole lot easier each floor of the aneke building has two main rooms in the room on the left side you'll always find the computer terminal that you need to make the elevators work so you can get up to the next floor on the right side you'll find other computer terminals many of which contain data files and money here on the second floor though we need to access this computer terminal to disable the level 3 node so make sure that you head over here we've certainly seen this server layout before head straight down to the bottom and you only need to take out those two pillars to open the way to the right there's one pillar here on the right side and whenever you access it you can jack out this will disable the level 3 node and get you a data file it seems that because Drake failed to kill Jake aneki was withholding a payment of 10 million new Yen well no wonder they were sending so many people out here to kill us we still can't go up to the third floor until we enable the elevators so make your way to this room over on the left there's a ton of enemies in here but they can't see us so we'll just pick them off one by one ah what happened to that guy I don't know it sure sounded like someone shot him but from where who could have done it I don't know I thought there might be an invisible guy around but I think we'll just walk back and forth in front of these computers that should be a good strategy nothing bad could happen then right oh look I found him but yeah definitely too late ferocious orc once all the enemies are defeated we'll pick up the money as we always do and the computer that we're looking for is on the right side of this room so it's this one right here we'll use our cyber deck and dive into the Matrix again this terminal is a bit different than other systems that we've jacked into before but we should be able to figure it out first make your way to the right pressing B to take out any enemy ice that's in your way access the first pillar then head back across to the left up and then down over here we want to head over to the left and then down again to access this pillar which will open up a path that leads upward here we'll find yet another pillar which will open up some more lines down below now we'll head across here to the right where we can activate this lone pillar that does have a bit of enemy ice right in front of it follow down and then head up to here where you'll be able to blow open the door and you can blast open this door as well continue across to the right and access this pillar that will open up the way that leads to the crystal so just head back the same way that you came cross into this field and work your way up to the crystal there's a lot of enemy ice here so be ready for it once the guard ice has been destroyed you'll find that the elevator is activated that was a tough one but we've hacked many computers before and it's nothing that we can't handle make sure to heal yourself you took a bunch of damage and then re-equip your invisibility spell you need to use the elevator on the left side to get up to the next floor but if you need to go use a bed somewhere you can always go down on the right side and the enemies will not respawn up here on the third floor we're going to head over to the right first but this is totally optional over in this room we'll find one of the most valuable computer terminals in the game this one contains 22 500 new Yen which will buy you some nice new equipment or could hire several Shadow runners we'll also find a data file that will tell us a little bit more about the anti-ai program that's been grafted into Jake's head computer the computer terminal that you're looking for is up here in this corner use your cyber deck and Jack into the Matrix This Server design is a bit more familiar looking so we should be easily able to navigate this one head straight up taking out any enemy ice that's in your path and then we're going to head over to the left we're going to take the upper path here follow it along and then go down into the left where we'll find a pillar that we can use to open up the lines and we'll be able to continue our journey make sure to backtrack across the same path that you took so that you won't hit any enemy ice and then head up this way we're going to go across to the right where we'll be able to access this pillar and that will open the path over here to the left on this side we don't have to hit all of these pillars we only need to hit a few of them so just access the three pillars over here on the left and you can jack out this time we'll get the cash and two payments and if we look at the data file we'll find out that the security on floor 6 has been upgraded while it's too bad that we only need to go up to floor 5 to beat the game once you're done in this room make your way across to the left side and we'll go to the computer that actually matters if you linger too long in the hallway a troll Decker will emerge from the elevator watch out for that as you head across there's more bad guys over here so as usual we're going to cast our invisibility spell and pick them off one by one watch them run as you blast them with your as7 assault Cannon and Chase down the remaining enemies until there are none left pretty tough but using the invisibility spell they are almost too easy we'll take out this massive orc and then only the Mage will be left he should go down quite quickly and we'll collect our three Karma points and this time I'm not going to pick up the money that's left on the floor the computer terminal that we're looking for is up here at the top of the room grab your cyber deck and Jack in this is another interesting one once you get inside here you're going to head over to the left and there's going to be a bunch of pillars over there so head straight up go over to the left and work your way down you're going to see a series of eight pillars hit the first pillar on the right and then you're going to weave your way around there's not very many ice if you take this path so work your way across hitting all of the pillars and then make sure to backtrack the same way that you came in or you may run into an ice that you forgot about head back up and now you'll see that the path is cleared towards the right and when you get down to the bottom you'll see a bunch of crystals in here you only need to hit one of them to take out the enemy ice in this area to activate the elevator hit the crystal in the middle at the bottom then you can jack out discard some trash data and you'll find that the elevator is activated before we go up to the fourth floor we got so much money on this floor that we might as well go and spend some of it otherwise it's like we robbed those corporate fat cats for nothing we should now be able to afford the very best armor the full body suit you need to make sure that you have strength of six or you won't be able to wear it but it will reduce all damage that you take by six points and with the dermal plating you'll reduce all damage by eight with that much damage it will be very difficult for enemies to deal you any at all although we still have the invisibility spell so it's not like we were in serious Danger now would also be a good time to save the game and use some of the karma points that we've accumulated 20 not bad of course we want to spend as many as we can on Magic and then use whatever points you have left on whichever skills or magic spells you want we should have most of the abilities maxed out that we really need by now so anything else is extra credit we still have a good bit of money left so let's hire a shadow runner for the last leg of our journey we got the phone number for akimi so let's give her a call she usually costs 10 000 new yen to hire but because of our negotiation skill she'll allow us to hire her for 9 000 instead we need to meet her over at the daily station so just wait here for the monorail to arrive and she'll pop out when the door opens so we'll wait here and there she is hey how's it going akimi if you want her to cast a spell just place the hand icon over her and select cast spell that will bring up this menu and you'll see that she has quite a few Spells at her disposal now let's get back to the inecky building up here on the fourth floor we're going to start out on the right side but this part of course is optional the computer that we actually need is on the left once you get into the room make sure to cast invisibility on both of your party members or these guys will wreck akimi if you'd like to conserve Jake's magic points you can have a Kimi cast the invisibility spells once you're both invisible we can easily remove the enemies and the computer terminal that we're looking for here is over on the right side this one contains 25 000 new Yen but we probably won't have time to spend it we're going to take it anyway though we're kind of like one part Robin Hood one part John Wick we rob from the corporations so that we can fund our Vengeance against them this system is fairly unique hit the pillar at the bottom to open the lines in the upper left and then access this pillar to open the lines on the right over here we'll be able to hit one of these crystals to disable the ice in the area and then we only need to access the pillar in the lower left to be able to get the cash 25 000 new Yen oh yeah with all of that cash in our account make your way to the room on the left side where we'll use our invisibility spells again and then we'll clear out the enemies we are so close to the end now we just need to eliminate the enemies here and we'll be able to access the computer terminal that we need to get up to the fifth floor the fifth floor is our final destination so Savor the action while you can blast these last few enemies and once they're gone the computer terminal that we're looking for is in the top of the room so head up into this cubicle grab your cyber deck and Jack into the Matrix again we'll wait a moment for this system to boot up and this is a fairly easy Matrix and it's one that should look familiar we're going to start out by heading straight across to the right there's a couple enemy ice here as there always is in this server layout once we access this pillar on the right side we'll open up the way to the left and down here we'll find the crystal that we're looking for and that's going to activate the elevator with the elevator activated we'll head back out to the middle hallway we'll take the elevator on the left side and ride it up to the fifth and final floor once you get up to the fifth floor if you just want to beat the game you should head to the room on the left side but over here on the right we can find one more computer terminal filled with money and this one contains 85 000 new Yen that's just crazy I know that the game is coming to a close bit how are we going to spend all that money maybe I'll buy a car or a new house heck maybe I'll even buy a toilet do you think 85 000 new Yen will be enough [Music] as we finish off the last two enemies one of them says get the one in the shades as if he can see me like dude if you can see me maybe you should shoot back I don't know just a suggestion we can use our cyber deck on this computer over here on the right side and Jack into the Matrix again this will be the next to last time this is another interesting server you'll want to work your way down at first and go over to the left side access the two pillars on the left and that will open up a node on the right blast downward and head down to this area you want to access this pillar over on the right side and then you can work your way down to the bottom there's one more pillar down here in the bottom field and once you've accessed it that's the last one that you need you can jack out and collect your 85 000 new Yen reward you'll get the money in three separate payments so if you missed something in the Matrix you might not get all of the cash now would be a good time to heal up your party because we're about to venture into the final room of the game so we'll cast a few heal Magics check our party status everybody seems to be doing well so we'll head over here to the left and once we get into this room we'll face Auto is a troll Decker but he still can't see either of us if we're invisible so I guess he's tough or something and we'll want to get invisible and then take him out all of the enemies in this room are dangerous but we have plenty of magic points so we don't need to worry about running out and not being able to re-engage our invisibility if your invisibility goes down simply cast it again once we clear out all of these enemies we only need to hack one more computer and the game will be over so this is it we'll gain six Karma points but we won't need them take this opportunity to heal Jake then run up to the AI computer it's this large unit in the back of the room grab your cyber deck and Jack into the Matrix for the last time the AI computer features a unique server design that we haven't seen yet and the ice in here can deal you serious damage if you take damage three times I recommend jacking out and healing up you do not want to get killed at this point this is the end of the game work your way up to this Crystal and once you access it that's it we've done it we've beaten Shadow run all we can do now is sit back relax and enjoy the cheesy ending once you jack out of the Matrix you'll no longer be in control of the game 20 seconds until detonation why are we going up in the elevator instead of down up here on the top floor some enemies will assault Jake and akimi doesn't make it you guys will certainly pay for that once all the enemies are cleared Jake will run over to the right where he'll find a helicopter that will fly him to safety well I guess that was lucky the chopper flies away as a fireball erupts from the building and that's it roll the credits after everything that happened that seems like a very abrupt ending but that is in fact the end of the game I think we're supposed to assume that with the AI computer destroyed the corporations will no longer have any interest in killing Jake but I mean what about revenge I'm sure he costs them a lot of money if I were Jake I'd take that 85 000 new Yen and disappear I bet somewhere tropical might be nice overall this game does a great job of taking the world of Shadowrun and reimagining it as a video game the combat system could certainly be more interesting most of the time it just comes down to point and shoot but the dialogue system is very deep and robust and whenever you're going through your dialogue options and the other person says something interesting it feels very rewarding this makes the game's puzzles feel a lot more logical most of the time you're just trying to work out what to say to each character instead of trying to figure out some counter-intuitive way to combine two objects into a new one the controls also work really well for a Super Nintendo controller allowing you to use the L button to examine objects and the R button to pick up or interact with objects that's a great system now it would be even better if this game had Super Nintendo mouse support but I've heard that some clever fans have hacked the game to patch in mouse support so that's pretty cool after the credits wrap up the helicopter will land but that's not the end just like a Marvel movie there's an additional scene after the credits there are actually a few scenes here the first one makes a lot of sense it's just Jake receiving congratulations from the dog Spirit live long welp live long but then we meet a bunch of the bosses who should be dead super weird first we meet the octopus and then we meet the rat Shaman again who just wanted us to know it turned out wrong for me that's all I mean I guess we only killed this guy because the dog Spirit told us to which now that I say it out loud sounds kind of like the Son of Sam and down here that's our good friend the vampire we killed this guy a few times next we see Jake fighting a green Naga for reasons that I don't completely understand and after that the jester wants to know did we guess or did we know what do you think Jester you think we guess that your name was Lachlan come on next we see a gold Naga and unlike the green Naga we saw earlier this one actually has something to say it says we cannot allow you to escape we had to stop you huh I didn't even know those things could talk the scientists would prefer if we did not shoot them and in the next scene we see Drake Drake is very much alive in this scene and he says that it's not over then he teases a shadow Run 2 which unfortunately never happened if you'd like to play a sequel to this game you'll have to check out Shadowrun Returns finally we get to see a roll call of all of the different Shadow Runners that you could potentially hire all of your favorites are here including our good friend orifice A orifice was that always your name and then there's dances with clams so he does a little pose for us and of course frog tongue how could we forget about him I think that this game may have been a bit better if they made the enemies more difficult but made the additional Shadow runners cost a lot less to hire so that you kind of had to hire them that would make the game a lot more fun as it stands it costs a lot of money to hire Shadow Runners and it's almost always better to just improve your main character as the last few Shadow Runners pose in the spotlight the game Fades out for one more final scene this time it's our friends down at the morgue it's pretty quiet around here Sam remember what happened the last time you said that you have reached the end well I hope this video was able to help you finally beat Shadowrun and rescue Seattle from the clutches of the evil dragon Drake if it did make sure to give it a like and make sure to subscribe for more videos because there will always be more futuristic dystopias to fix and that's why we'll be back again next week with another video game you can beat thanks for watching
