can't help you sir oh yeah I got a problem with a tractor yeah watching a big problem think it's a bad tree or starter okay you got with you yeah oh right outside all right I'll give my son and bring it in down down up bring Jacqueline well show me what's doing sir yeah this is a little des well leave her here we'll fix it up we'll call you when it's ready all right there ain't nothing wrong with this pattern ain't nothing wrong with his starter what's the valve the valves are auto adjust me all right I know how that works there's a compression release on the camshaft and when their valves get out of adjustment it doesn't vote that compression release and make it start so you got to take off the hood take off the valve cover and set them vows at 4,000 the book says 5,000 I don't care what the book says I said settle at 40 and call me when god dude after you take the valve cover off first thing you're going to want to do is take the spark plug out makes it easier and you want to spend the engine over to one valves fully closed and one fully open Wow look how sloppy that is that ain't for thousands all these pretty much work on the same principle you got a lock nut and an outside note so you loosen it you get it where you need it you tighten the outside now you want it to where just slides in and out easily with little resistance you want to set it at 4,000 and you tighten it up you move on to the next aisle what this one's way out of Justin this one's a real floppy here I'm just going to tighten that up some there OOP OOP little too tight a little too tight tighten that one up in there just like that snug this up like so Oh mm-hmm yeah I can smell it now you might want to put a new gasket on unless you're able to preserve the one you had originally oh that one coming off a little there but as long as it's still good it should be alright you want everything cleaned before you put it back in there that way there's no dirt or grime or anything that gets up in the engine oh yeah I think we're ready and I'll set on back getting ready to go yep just put the spark plug on now then we're going to crank it over and see how she runs jump on your barn here we go now there's your dinner common problem we have a lot is sometimes these lawnmowers are wrong for five minutes and then they just shut down like you're running out of gas so one thing you want to check make sure that vent hole in the gas cap is clear like this one here is plug there's problem right there that booger problem fixed now there's your dinner
