Hello everyone and welcome to my complete
Sethos build guide. In this video, I will cover everything you need to know about him,
his kit, playstyles, combos, talent priority, constellations, artifacts, weapons, teams
and more. Without any further ado, let's jump right into it. Sethos is a really interesting character as
you can play him in two different ways. Let's take a look at his skills to understand what
I mean. His charged attack has two levels. The first
level is just a normal charged attack that every bow characters can perform. The second
level charged attack is special. It can pierce through opponents and has higher multipliers
which scales off both attack and elemental mastery. When his level two aimed shot is
charged, he cannot move. Sethos elemental skill deals an A O E damage
to enemies in front of him and retreats back. You can think of it like Ganyu's elemental
skill. Additionally if this attack triggers any electro related reaction, he will restore
12 energy. So make sure to use his elemental skill only when his burst is not fully charged. After using Sethos' burst, he will enter into
Twilight meditation state for 8 seconds. In this state, Sethos' normal attacks will be
converted into dusk bolt shots. These shots can pierce through opponents, deal electro
damage and the damage is increased based on Sethos' elemental mastery. The damage dealt
this way is considered as charged attack damage which means sets or weapons that buff charged
attacks are best for him. The effect will be cancelled when he leaves the field. Sethos' first passive decreases his charged
attack time based on his current elemental energy. It can be reduced to up to 0.3 seconds
but as a cost it will consume 20 energy. If you released level 1 charged attack, it will
consume 10 energy instead. This will make his ult useless as you won't
be able to use it. Sethos' second passive, gives a buff to his
second level charged attack every 15 seconds. This buff increases the damage dealt by 600%
of Sethos' elemental mastery which is insane. This buff lasts for 5 seconds or will be removed
after 4 charged shots. This 5 seconds buff will be refreshed when his first level 2 charged
attack hits an opponent. This damage boost is insane but it can be
difficult to utilise as it has a 15 seconds cooldown which makes it unreliable. But there's
a way we can utilise this. Let's move onto his playstyles. Sethos can alternate between two playstyles,
you can either go a charged attack playstyle like Ganyu or Tighnari, or go for a Yoimiya
style normal attack playstyle which can be used after using his burst. You can forget about his level 2 charged shots
and just go with his Yoimiya type playstyle which is burst then normal attack spam for
8 seconds as this is his most reliable playstyle. Or if you want some fun you can mix both of
them. You can start with a level 2 charged shot, then use his skill which will refund
energy, and with the help of your teammates, yous should be able to get his burst back
up. Then you can use his burst and spam normal attacks. Or what you can do is, use his normal attack
playstyle for one rotation and then for the other rotation you can switch to his charged
attack playstyle. This won't be optimal but you can do it to enjoy both the playstyles. You can also use him in quickswap teams where
you switch into him to use his massively buffed charged attacks. For his combo in charged attack playstyle,
Start with 2 fully charged shots, this will reduce your energy to 20. Then quickly use
his elemental skill so as to get 12 energy back. You will also get energy particles from
teammates and hopefully his skill will generate particles as well, which allows you to unleash
2 more charged attacks. The combo for Yoimiya playstyle is simple,
you just use his burst and spam normal attacks. For Sethos' talent Priority, his normal attacks
are the most crucial part for both the playstyles. So level it first, followed by his burst which
is necessary for his normal attackplaystyle. Elemental skill can be skipped as the energy
refund doesn't increase with levels and it's damage is nothing amazing. Moving onto his constellations. Sethos has some really nice constellations. His first constellation increases the crit
rate of his level 2 charged attacks by 15%. It is nice but not super effective so I will
rate it 3 out of 5. His C2 is a nice damage boost. Sethos gains a 15% electro damage bonus for
10 seconds which can be stacked twice if the following conditions are met. First is by regaining energy with his elemental
skill which is fairly easy as you just need to trigger reaction with it. Second is just by using his burst. And last is by consuming energy with his special
charged attack. All these conditions are extremely easy to
meet. It is a good damage boost. I will rate it
4 out of 5. His third constellation increases his normal
attack damage by 3 which again is huge. 4 out of 5. His fourth constellation buffs every party
members elemental mastery by 80, when his level two charged attack, or normal attacks
during his burst strikes two or more opponents. This is a good buff however highly conditional
as it can't be triggered in single target scenarios. I wouldn't recommend specifically
pulling for this. I will rate it 3 out of 5. Fifth constellation just increases his burst
level by 3. It is useless for charged attack playstyle and decent for the normal attack
spam playstyle. Either ways not that great, 2 out of 5. His 6th constellation returns the elemental
energy consumed by his charged attack which can be triggered once every 15 seconds. Although
it doesn't sound much of a boost but trust me it is a great constellation. Refunding
the energy is huge which lets him use both of his playstyle in the same rotation. This
lets you more reliably use a buffed charged attack before using his burst without needing
you to build more energy recharge. You can potentially use 2 charged attacks before his
burst as the first one will refund energy, and the energy drain from his second charged
attack can be refilled with his skill and with the help of his teammates. I will rate this 5 out of 5. Here's a chart
showing how much boost is each constellation. Credits to Finch on Sethos mains discord server
for this chart. Now let's move onto his artifacts. As I mentioned earlier, since his normal attacks
in his burst state is considered as charged attacks, sets that buff charged attack damage
will be his go to options. Wanderer's Troupe is his best set as 2 piece
gives 80 elemental mastery which is a stat needed for Sethos, and the 4 piece buffs charged
attack damage by 35%. Thundering Fury is only viable in hyperbloom
teams. Do keep in mind in hyperbloom teams, the normal attack playstyle will be preferred
for triggering hyperblooms consistently. Similarly, flowers of paradise lost can also work to
maximize on hyperbloom damage. Gilded dreams is also a great set, it gives
a lot of E M and some additional attack. It is a solid all rounder set. Marechausee Hunter is one of the best sets
when used with Furina. Shimenawa's reminiscence gives a huge buff
to charged attacks however it drains 15 energy which can make your rotations weird and not
let you do all 4 of his buffed charged shots. It is viable with C6 Sethos due to the energy
refund. For normal attacks playstyle, I think this
set can be one of his best options as you can counter the energy drain with the energy
restoration from his skill. But we can't say anything for sure as of now.
Shimenawa requires you to build a bit more energy recharge, So wanderer's troupe should
be a safe option to go for. Alternatively, you can use 2 piece of sets
that give elemental mastery, electro damage bonus or Marechausee Hunter. Attack% is not
that strong on Sethos but 2 piece attack sets can be used if you have no other option. For his energy requirements, it is quite difficult
to say as we don't know how much energy particles he generates. In a mixed playstyle, where
you use bothcharged attacks and burst normal attacks, around 160% should be enough in solo
electro teams. With an electro battery preferably Fischl, you can get away with 130 to 140%
Energy recharge. However if you choose to ignore his level 2 charged attacks, you can
lower the energy recharge by around 10 to 15%. Favonius weapons can further lower this
amount by another 10 to 15%. For his artifact stats, Elemental mastery on sands. Attacks sands
can be used if you have no other option, but E M is generally better. For goblet, you can use electro damage bonus
Goblet, or elemental mastery Goblet whichever has better substats. crit rate or damage on
circlet. Moving onto his weapons. Hunter's path will be his best option as it
gives a lot of crit rate and gives charged attack bonus based on the amount of elemental
mastery you have. Other 5 star options are also great on him.
Aqua Simulacra is very close to Hunter's path. The First Great Magic, Polar Star, Amos Bow,
Thundering Pulse, Skyward Harp are strong options. With polar star make sure to do a
normal attack before doing charged attacks or before using his burst. And with Amos Bow
try to maintain distance from the enemies. There's a really strong F2P weapon for Sethos
that we will get in the next version's event for free. It is the R5 cloudweaver. This weapon
has elemental mastery substat. And from its passive it gives 80 elemental mastery when
his energy decreases. This can be stacked twice. The BP weapon, scion of the blazing sun at
R1 is negligibly better so don't buy it specifically for Sethos. However this weapon matches Sethos'
asstitties really well. R5 Slingshot could be one of his top options
depending on how you use it. The low base attack is not a problem for Sethos. It provides
a good amount of crit rate and increases damage by 60%. However you need to stay close to
the enemies or your damage will be decreased. Other options include Ibis piercer, King's
squire and stringless. Here's a Sethos Weapon Ranking made by Finch
on Sethos Mains discord server. As Sethos is built with elemental mastery,
his best teams will be aggravate teams or Hyperbloom teams to benefit more from his
elemental mastery. In aggravate teams, you will need a primary dendro applier who have
good application like Nahida or dendro traveler. For the next slot you will need an electro
sub dps. Fischl is the most recommended one. Yae Miko, Beidou, Kuki Shinobu, Kujou Sara,
Lisa are some other options. And the last slot is flex. Here you can use a secondary
dendro character like Yaoyao, Baizhu or dendro traveler or you can use a shielder like Zhongli
or Layla. Anemo buffers here like Kazuha or sucrose can also be used but Do keep in mind
swirling electro can be difficult in these teams especially with Nahida as her dendro
application is very strong. And if you use a hydro character for the last
slot, you can turn this into a hyperbloom or quickbloom team. Yelan, Xingqiu, Furina
or Kokomi are the best ones to use. Kokomi's application is stationary, as a result it
can be a problem is the enemies move a lot. In these teams, the Normal attack playstyle
should be used to trigger hyperblooms consistently. Other teams you can use him in is Chevreuse
overload team. Along with sethos and Chevreuse, you will need a good Pyro applier like Xiangling,
Dehya or Thoma. And the last slot is flex. Here you can use an electro or Pyro sub dps
or buffer. I recommend another electro to battery Sethos. Electro charged teams can also be used with
a hydro character like Yelan, Xingqiu, Furina, or Kokomi. You will need one more electro
sub dps and the last slot is flex. An anemo support is usually recommended but you can
also use shielders or a second hydro. While using Yelan or Xingqiu, it is recommended
to use the normal attack playstyle to trigger their bursts. And that's all for this video. Don't forget
