(bright music) (Blippi roars) (Elmo roars) (both roaring) (Blippi laughs) - Elmo, you silly, scared me. - Yeah. Blippi made Elmo jump too. That was a really loud roar. - Aw, thanks. Yeah, it was my T-Rex roar. - Yeah, Elmo's too. - Oh, hey, it's me, Blippi. - Oh, hi. Elmo's Elmo. Today, we're pretending to be dinosaurs. - Yeah. (roars) And we're here at Field Station: Dinosaur to hang out with some
of our fellow dinosaurs. - Yeah, oh, and Meekah and Big Bird. Hi, you two. - Hello there. I like your dinosaur costume. - Thanks.
- Ah, thank you. - Yeah, you two will blend in with all the other dinosaurs for sure. - Yep. You know what? We even stomp dinosaurs. Stomp, stomp, roar! - Oh, that was a great roar, Elmo. - Thank you. Hey, what is Meekah wearing? It doesn't like a dinosaur costume. - Oh, that's right, because
today I'm a paleontologist. - What's a paleontologist? - A paleontologist is a scientist
who studied living things that lived a long time ago. - Oh, like dinosaurs? - Yeah, that's right.
- Oh, cool. - And I'm gonna study dinosaurs today with my very special assistant,
a dinosaur expert, Big Bird. - Whoa, Big Bird, you're
a dinosaur expert? - I sure am. - Whoa, whoa. How did you become an expert on dinosaurs? - Well, birds are the great,
great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandchildren of
feathered dinosaurs. - Whoa. So birds are related to dinosaurs? - They are, yeah. - And that means that birds
are dinosaurs. (laughs) - Yeah.
- Whoa. (Tyrannosaurus roars) - [All] Whoa. - Whoa. Elmo, that, that was a
really, really, really, really big dino roar.
- Yeah. - That wasn't Elmo. (Tyrannosaurus roars) (all scream) - That looks like a T-Rex, and
it's definitely not little! (Tyrannosaurus roars) 1, 2, 3. Oh, hey, we're playing hide and seek. And because I'm a paleontologist,
we're seeking dinosaurs. Will you help me find Dino
Blippi, Dino Elmo, and Big Bird? Okay, great. Okay, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Here I come. (upbeat music) Hey, Dino Blippi, I found you. (Blippi laughs and roars)

Stanley, nice to meet you. - A-A-A-A real dinosaur! (laughs) - Yeah, and you know what? Stanley's a dinosaur expert too, because, well, he's a dinosaur. (all laugh) - That's right. I'm a Brachiosaurus. I'm an herbivore, who likes to eat leafy plants
that are green just like me. - Oh. - Well, I see a lot of green
leafy plants around here. - Oh yeah, there are lots
to snack on around here. - (chuckles) Oh, green, like,
like the leaves on the trees? - Yep. - Oh, green like, uh, grass?
- Yep. - Green like a fern?
- Yep. Yep, yep. - Wow, what else do you see that's green? Yeah, there's a lot of
green things around here. - Oh, Stanleysaurus.
- Hmm? - I want to learn more about dinosaurs. And Elmo would also like to
see a little T-Rex. (giggles) - Oh, well, I happen to know
about all the dinosaurs here. - Oh!
- I could show you. For example, right behind you. This is Pteranodon. The Pteranodon's name
means wings and no teeth. - Wow. - [Stanley] They like to eat fish. That makes them a carnivore. - A toothless carnivore. Whoa. - Since it has wings, does
that mean that it can fly? - Yep.
- Oh! - Oh, and over there that is a Baryonyx. They also like to eat fish. They also have twice as
many teeth as a T-Rex. - Wow, that is a very,
very, very big dinosaur! - With lots and lots and
lots and lots and lots and lots of teeth. - Yeah, it must take them a
while to brush their teeth. (all laugh)
- You're right. - Oh, over there, that
dinosaur with the three horns, that's a Triceratops. The name Triceratops
means three-horned face. - Wow. Yeah, 1, 2, 3, three horns. - Oh, yeah.
- Yeah. - And 1, 2, 3, 4, four big feet. (laughs) Stomp, stomp, stomp. - I like that.
