this sound [Applause] is that's a loud sound that's a really loud animal wait a minute that's not an animal that's a fire truck not a fire truck wa I love fire did you hear that there it is again where's it coming from hi Miss Rachel Hi friend hello will you come down and play with us I would love to me too wait a minute I know what sound you're being Miss Rachel you're being a puppy dog I was that's so cool so you made a dog sound I was a siren on a fire truck and flippy was a bird twet sweet those are all sounds we hear around the fake City W so cool yeah well we're so excited to be at the Children's Museum of Manhattan with you yeah especially since we're here with Miss Rachel I'm so happy to be here with you what's that sound oh do you hear that oh I think it's coming from over here let's go come on oh M Miss Rachel I found out what the sound was it was a Cho choo train yeah do you hear the choo choo choo choo here comes the Train choo choo here comes the train we're going down the tracks going to get there fast yeah ch ch here comes the train I could spend all day watching you go Choo that's funny wa and look at all these trains yeah yeah you know there are a lot of different kinds of trains there are trains that run on electricity electric trains there Steam trains and there are even gas trains like diesel trains yeah that's so cool and these Subways are electric trains these are the New York City Subways this is really cool a lot of people get around on subways that's how I get around that's awesome I love the Subway W they go so fast look they can connect wa yeah a subway train can be really long cuz it has different different subway cars all connected together wow here we go CH W wa let's make the biggest Subway ever here we can all connect it together on the blue okay here's two more so long Here Comes Miss Rachel that's silly hey do you all hear that what's that sound I think it's coming from over there let's go come on W check it out it's a food truck yeah that was the sound that we were hearing it came from the truck they serve food but they are also trucks check out the steering wheel come on wao look has a big steering wheel and it has basically everything else you'd have in a truck it has a gas pedal and a brake and you can drive it around town buckle up here we go here we go remember first things first safety first food truck food truck we have some fresh yummy food well actually what food do we have oh well are we parked we're parked okay good okay well if you come around here my customers there's lots of food on this food truck so just step right up order anything you like I could probably make it oh okay H well miss Rachel what would you like to eat do you have fruit smoothies I do do you want to try the berry berry berry smoothie I do yum coming right up wo I love the very very very very very very berry smoothie so much here's $5 oh thank you oh you overpaid here take your change it's for you to keep different sounds in the city there really are I hear another sound I do too two me three let's go come on I think it's over there oh a subway car I love the subway yeah a subway car is a train that runs underground in New York City yeah and that's what we were hearing music from the subway Wow Let's go inside come on W look at this place W there's so many instruments I really like this one because it's one of my favorite colors purple let's see oh I see a mallet [Music] see this cool what did you find blippy whoa look I found this box and it looks like it's a box drum called a kahone and you play this instrument with your hands oh nice let's play play some music here we [Music] goo that was fun wowy and Miss Rachel what is that it's a really big colorful instrument and here's a so excited wa I almost tripped you know what this is yeah it's a footprint a really really big footprint H must have belong to an animal or maybe even a dinosaur hey let's follow the footprints and maybe we can see some animals and dinosaurs today come [Music] on whoa check it out it's a nest with dinosaur eggs oo yeah did you know that a long time ago dinosaurs would lay eggs and make nests kind of like a bird or a reptile W yeah the nest would help keep the eggs all together and nice and safe but with every nest with eggs in it comes a a mommy dinosaur wao and this is a really big mommy dinosaur it's called a parasaurolophus wao that's a tongue twister these dinosaurs are amazing W the parasaur olfus is part of the hydrosaurus looks like it's wearing some lipstick o you look very pretty who did you notice something yeah there's a bone Crest on the back of its head it used to be able to make a honking Sound by blowing air out of that honk honk honk honk honk so silly wa well one other thing you should know is Pariser olfus were very protective of their neest [Music] W look at what it is it's a Triceratops hello do you know why this dinosaur is called a Triceratops H yeah it's because it has three horns on its face one 2 three yeah but don't worry the Triceratops was an herbivore that means it only ate plants the horns were only to defend itself and its family and Triceratops are so powerful they could even protect themselves from the mighty [Applause] T-Rex this Triceratops is really sweet and loves some pets and scratches Triceratops are also really really big and really heavy wo they can be as big as a school bus and way up to 5 tons woo well I'll see you later bye-bye [Music] Triceratops [Music] have you ever wondered how we know what dinosaurs look like well we learned by discovering fossils yeah a fossil could be something like a bone and it gives us Clues to what a dinosaur would have really looked like wa and check it out it looks like we're here at a dig site and maybe we can discover a new dinosaur waa Mir yeah see I have a brush instead of using something like a shovel people use brushes to discover fossils yeah a brush is nice and gentle so fuzzy kind of bristly and that's so the fossil doesn't get damaged okay let's start finding some [Music] fossils wo I think I see [Music] something check it out it's a dinosaur fossil wo let's see if we can find [Music] another wa we found one two fossils oh they're bones it's really fun looking for fossils yeah and people who grow up and they learn about dinosaurs for their job they're called paleontologist yeah they are really good at studying dinosaurs I think we should keep looking wo I think we found a really big one brush brush brush it's so Sandy but thanks to my brush I'm not damaging the fossil mm- nope just brushing away the sand and then wo this is so cool yeah a paleontologist who's discovered all these bones but then put them together kind of like a puzzle and that's how we know what dinosaurs look like [Music] oo so silly whoa hello Mr Cow a such a sweet cow well I've had so much fun learning about animals like dinosaurs that lived a really long time ago do you know what animal this is yeah these are two sheep will you act like a sheep with me okay they go like this oo they like back scratches yeah sheep are so nice hey wait a minute cows sheep we must be on a farm let's go see if we can find some other farm animals wa look at it it looks like it's a chicken coop and chickens like to lay eggs maybe we can find some eggs W look at it some beautiful looking eggs laid by the chickens I'm going to take two for later thank you chickens hey and this yeah this is a Rooster H his name is Brewster and we're really good friends he's going to come along with me today let's keep exploring the farm W do you see what I see it's a farmhouse and it looks like it's a farmhouse from a hundred years ago whoa A lot has changed in 100 years wo wo wo let's go inside and see what's changed come on look at this place it's so old wo and look at this huh do you know what this is this is a really old phone Brewster do you want to make a call it looks like that's a yes here you [Laughter] go Brewster really likes to talk on the phone who and check it out there you go this is an old sink well today you just turn on the faucet but with this a long time ago 100 years ago you had to use this pump and then you could fill up a cup for water or a bowl to boil some noodles anything you need water for hey what if you and I made some tasty lunch now while we're cooking our food we need to set the table wo check it out this beautiful table with that beautiful table cloth H we're going to need some mugs one for you one for me and some [Music] plates h I think we're all ready to eat this looks so [Music] tasty delicious wo check it out look at what's behind me oo a nice cozy fireplace a so cozy h and a radio this radio is so old wo yeah let's see if we can turn it on and listen to some musicx yeah I love this song I just love animals and I really love dinosaurs and one of my favorite dinosaurs is the T-Rex walk like a T-Rex stomp looks like an octopus oo and it looks like a sea turtle wow octopuses and sea turtles live in the ocean all right see you later sea turtle woohoo yeah it floats and I bet you this is going to do the super duper fast whoa cheetahs can run about 70 miles an hour now that is fast that's as fast as you drive on a freeway all right all right let's see you cheetah go in the water super fast wo W that cheetah toy floats wa yeah some beach toys Wow have you ever been to the beach yeah it's so fun just putting your feet in the sand hearing the waves wow can't seeing the Surfers cool yeah these are
