selling your coins hello everybody it's spectacular the silverstack Euler so today I'm at a coin shop I want to show you what it'd be like to sell some coins so if you have a collection maybe you inherited something this may be what you experience when you go to sell your coins I actually brought some coins I just brought some stuff here that you know people may commonly get it they inherited collection so if you don't mind if you want to look through my bag of miscellaneous coins here and see the guy anything special maybe Morgan peace dollars commemorative dollar very common one Statue of Liberty Ellis Island wouldn't you always see a fancy special there yeah and I see like these these are the ones that if I buy I get a hold for 30 days okay don't kill a happy for that this is counterfeit well it says copy on it but this is uh you knew it before I say before you seen copy though well it's too big first of all yeah the Buffalo is smaller than this and I have a box of these over there I had a couple of kids come in here try to sell me these oh you don't know nothing there's $69 a piece you're all in line you could see them I said come over here and I had a bunch I said you sell you these for $2 each or you're just stupid I'm stupid I'm offering me you for $2 and you think you can get 16 I guess I am stupid I don't know and you want to so my proof modern coin this is your eisenhower dollars I use these away my say pretty smart nice and heavy I think they're cool when they do away with the paper dollar then we can start getting rid of all of the sacagawea's and golden dollars and this is just this is your second Julia sorry Susie B here's your sector to where this is 1/10 gold piece that's the cool coins I buy these for a hundred and fifty all right which is just about the price of gold right now is 14 so there's 149 20 here I pay 150 150 dollars for that one little content of an ounce sweet yeah very properly us coin would you say that a lot of this right here is pretty common stuff yes this is your routine a lot of people save all of these types of things even though there are money you'll see a lot of yesterday person came in with a hole about five dollars worth of the drummer boy quarters people put aside a lot of the Bicentennial stuff yeah it was very popular back in 76 geez just 64 use of five and a half dollars a piece I pay 11 times silver quarters right now I have no 90% silver for sale yeah no no I'm sending out tomorrow actually I'm expecting a delivery today and I'm gonna be mailing out tomorrow he bought all my halves somebody else want another hundred face I said give me them next week more coming so they buy and sell you make ten percent if you can you make a few dollars dollar coin this is your silver nickel the big letter P over the dome that tells you which ones are silver routine far and the stuff you buy by the pound is another silver nickel falling any view we pennies so for not too special here in the US unless you get a silver one yeah unless you get the naked ones from Italy then you might want to keep huh these are all all the wheat cents mm-hmm you should steal penny now you need one to look like this you need want to look like this and then you got yourself a couple of hundred thousand dollars if you're that lucky if it's copper yeah that's forty three copper so I don't have a lot of money here well you got a few dollars I mean you're looking at to 325 you've got about four dollars this is $44 right there so you'd buy bucks right this yeah okay just just do this okay $44 that's not bad yeah well this is another hundred fifty is almost there's probably close to 200 right here and you got all these dollars you know you've got your Morgan dollars I pay at least fifteen dollars a piece for these okay Carson City's or more the 21 is a better date on the peace dollar this coin used to be about a hundred this is a this point is get some good scratches in the fields this coin used to be a hundred and ten dollars and very good now it's about sixty dollars and the price collapsed on this coin but this isn't like an extra fine that's a nice coin would you pay for that one I probably pay about eighty and try and get 95 Wow yes that's a good one yeah that's a nice coin okay it's about the only ones worth any money in the the piece you got to 28 which is the key and you got all of these these are all 15 apiece the twenty ones to me are about 14 apiece these are 15 yeah this is like 14 piece collars and 20 ones I pay less than the than the others the 1893 the 1895 the better dates all your costs and cities there's a couple of odd dates 1899 playing 1888 as there's a there's a coin here and there that had a low mintage that will have a premium that's above that $15 or if you got uncirculated ones I'm going to pay more for them this is based now this is the new dollar this is one of the commemorative dollars these are not one ounce of silver a lot of people under the impression if this is an ounce of silver this is point seven seven three and silver point seven seven three that's how much Silver's in here so if you take today silver at seventeen seventy five times point seven seven three you have thirteen dollars and seventy two cents and silver in these okay the same as in this all right these are pay like eleven for these are hard to sell nobody want I have a bag of this kind of swimming lock so online here's a pretty one in you go I got but she's a proof one this is a very common one okay so I don't have anything special there now you ain't got none special there all right these are probably the most common ones you're going to find but they come in all the time they're pretty yeah they're really pretty and many times believe it or not in the commandments the proof doesn't sell as much as the yonk because everybody bought the everybody buys the proof and the mintage is much lower on the unk's and that was true for like Jackie Robinson there was a time when that when the gold hunk was like $2,000 hmm I mean on a coin that had like 400 or $350 worth to go I think it's still about a $900 coin gold has come down and some of the shiners come off the value of the coin you know so what about what about these do you buy these jump these are 1 ounce bullion coins I'd probably pay somewhere around about a dollar back okay so whatever so it's all about a dollar okay so today maybe 1675 because I can't sell these until Thanksgiving all right because it's a month out from now which would be the 30th of November and the rest of the stuff yeah you'd have no Freight just you just I can buy and sell any of it this is has no value this is a fake trash this is DISA spent well it's a proof this is spending money we tease foreign coins are the first worth much to you I mean yeah I have them in rolls there's too many broken up I have I have bunches that'll come in now there's just too much of that it's like proof sets and mint sets I probably have 800 in inventory that's too much I sell more of them and then let's make a deal box than I do over the counter by day gosh yeah random people come in and gold is always cool I like gold sure so as a shop you would be interested in like the old dollars buy everything I you know I'd even buy the change I mean that's like the half dollars you know I just take them off the people's hands I love the people who have never been in the store before and they come in here with $20 and half dollars and Suzy because he wanted to mini by anything whatever sure when we go on the road I take a whole bag of that stuff with me and I spend it all over the country but uh that's what you got here but you do have I mean you do have some value here you're looking at 10 150 to 240 three full you got give or take $500 here $500 in a little tiny bag yeah and you're willing that you'd buy it all like there to be no hesitation not for you by Matthew the exact number but if I you know if I decided to sell this to you what do we gotta do we gather your paperwork for this stuff right here this you would do paperwork for the rest I can buy straight up okay so if I wanted to try to stay off the grid off the radar I would just not give you these and study the rest of the stuff all right well good info so yeah I'll consider that and thanks for going through the coins and tell me that you know I'm actually got something here I'm pretty uh pretty happy got a little bit of money within the money all right now here's a quick bonus on how to buy your precious metals from a shop all right mr. guy I have here $320 that's all my wife would let me spend cash and I wanted to see what you know you'd think that would be a good investment to put this cash into when it comes to precious metals okay what you have here is basically what that will buy you illustrated in constitutional silver and get $25 in constitutional silver okay for about three hundred and seventeen dollars okay could be quarters eg dimes it can be halves but it's about twenty-five dollars so 90% silver yeah and here you have 999 silver you get about 17 and a half ounces of $9.99 he's just happened to be two to ten ounce bars so I need a little bit more money if I was to buy a to 10 ounce bars yes okay or you can get a combination of small of one ounces the wife said no today okay then you've got silver eagles goes you'd get 16.2 but here's what 16 so vehicles for the same 320 so $320 cash would be the equivalent of about 16 so thirty eagles 25 dollars and ninety percent or seventeen two and 999 or you can get to 110 downs gold pieces that's like I sell those for like 158 159 each so 110 bounce Gold's floating at around what 1500 a little bit south of that yeah around 1492 did it okay all right so that's a good visual of the things that I could trade the cash for yep mm-hmm paper for silver or gold it's amazing huh yep five thousand years ago this was silver and gold this is what you started
