yourselves treasures upon earth you take it or leave it where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal in his famed portion of his Sermon on the Mount the greatest sermon ever preached he is telling us this in that scripture you better make a wise investment you better make sure where you are investing your little vapor because you can lose it all you can lose your life you can lose your family you can lose your friends you can lose them all but let me just tell you you better get a hold on God because there are some stormy things ahead for this world I want to be in that first resurrection and I want to stay full of the Holy Ghost I want to be faithful to this church and put everything I've got in it because he's coming back for this church go ahead and clap your hands the Enron the m'kraan and the world investments likewise will tell you you can lose it all we think of how God gave the rocks 1 million years the trees one thousand years the elephant 100 years but man made in the image of God only a little lower than the angels with empowers in his brain kingdoms in his heart only threescore years and ten why man's majestic endowments demand immortality eternity heaven man is made for transplanting the whole purpose of our threescore years and ten really reduces itself to this make a wise investment of your little short life you and I have to make a deposit so much is being stolen from us today the thieves the rust the moth of this permissive society and this untoward and perverse generation they are doing us incalculable damage but Jesus Christ has brought me here tonight to tell you he stripped the devil you don't have to even stand and talk to him you don't even have to answer him Jesus Christ made a spectacle overhead of him he engages in guerrilla warfare even though he was whipped Satan knows he has no power over any one of you but he is called the enemy he sews weeds he wants to confuse you he's an accuser he wallows in slender he's a fowler he sets the booby traps for your soul he's an imposter he's a deceiver he's a liar and the father of our lives but in Jesus name he will yield he must yield though reluctantly angrily stubbornly contesting every inch of ground he must yield to the man or the woman who was stand in Jesus name and forced his retreat he will he will leave if you will hear me tonight you've got the power to put him on the run saying amen and amen his name is amen and amen and every promise in that book 7,000 or 9,000 whether they are conditional or unconditional I will tell you this his word is yay yay and nay nay his word is yes I will yes I will all I'm telling you tonight don't live below your privilege the mission of this planet is to produce great men and women for transplanting and the business of Satan and the forces of Hell is to absolutely steal from you everything that he can and he will and if you do not guard yourself he will steal everything you have even down to your children as a young girl during the Great evangelist I was scared of him myself he had big old fished and he spoke roughly and this gambler walked up to him and waved a $10 bill under his nose during the days of depression coming out of 26 enough lay up for yourselves treasures may not fall on this earth but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven and the thirteen verse then the thirteen verses later tells us how to do it say how to do it you want to know how to do it seeking seek him with all of your heart seek first the church the kingdom this church is expanding the kingdom the kingdom is really bigger than the church you seek first the kingdom of God in this church is expanding the kingdom of God that's why Matthew called it the kingdom of heaven he was dealing with Jews and the kingdom of God insulted them and all I'm telling you is the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven and the church were all in every bit of that say somewhere I'm in every bit of this and I want to go when that first trumpet sounds say I'm going in that first resurrection I've been born again of water in the spirit I'm full of the Holy Ghost I have his name hallelujah and it's the secret that's the clue which puts you into the hands of Almighty God and life eternal he completely reverses everything in your life he takes away the bed and gives you nothing but the good and so you're seeking if you're not seeking first the kingdom of God you're seeking position material things treasures upon earth what we shall eat and what we shall drink and what we shall wear and Jesus put the label of things on all of these then he promises that if you will put things in the background that's what I won't beg you to do for a while tonight at least and then start off each day deliberate attending first to your relationship with God don't let it just be here tonight get up in the morning and start all over with it let it go with you all day long and say leave me to people guide my steps order my steps let me connect with people that don't know you that I can tell them about you and tell about this wonderful gift of the baptism of the Holy Ghost go ahead and raise your hands though that's what I'm wanting people to do and accept it say I want to meet somebody tomorrow I want to meet somebody the next day I want to reach my neighbors I want to start each day deliberately and you don't need to worry about things when you do that your heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of all these other things if I put him first I'm 93 I've done something right haven't I I'm put him first yes coach Oh looked at me and he says when I grow up I want to be like you I said you get up every morning and check in with your source your next breath comes from him this is what I told him your next heartbeat comes from him you're nobody without him he's everything he's everything he gave us this wonderful Holy Ghost to give us peace and joy and contentment oh the kingdom of God alone is worthy a first place in your life nothing else nothing else you'll lose everything else and I've watched too many die lately they turn loose of everything even their family they turn loose of their wife their husband I saw pastor reach over a week before last year pray for my region dying with cancer of the blood what do they call whoever they call of it and there he was talking in tongues in her ear and she began and she was dying she was dying and she started moving her lips and you could see she was talking in tongues don't die without the Holy Ghost don't come to death's door without the Holy Ghost Pam no just texted me her brother-in-law for whom we've been praying years he's in ICU in Natchitoches big moneyed man and and two girls had they went to the greatest universities and they've been all over the world traveled and this and that no there he lies the young man calling for prayer I said when I get back tomorrow night I said Pam if you'll arrange it we'll go over there to Tuesday all I'm telling you folks you don't know what tomorrow holds for you invest in this tonight whatever you put in that offering your tithes and your offerings you are investing in eternity you are investing in people thank you for your missionary dollars thank you for supporting this church thank you for coming to church it seems with all of us the last thing one knows is what to put first it is not thought for the things but anxious thought absorbing care in which everything else you lose sight of Jesus is telling us you don't have to be poverty-stricken marry a Bethany was not rebuked for possessing the box of horn costly aunt Mandira precious she would have been able to break it on Jesus Jesus is not telling us that it is a matter of good and bad or right and wrong it's just a matter of first or second he will not be second or third or fourth or fifth he's going to be what first and say if I put him first than all these what I shall eat what I shall drink what I shall wear and where I shall live have to do with serious things in my life if a man provide not for his own and especially for those of his own household he hath denied the faith in his worse than an infidel these things are of great importance but they're not the first important thing this is your first important thing get this straight get the prayer thing straight get going to church things straights they get it get that straight get the first thing straight and the second things of Earth they find their proper sphere and usefulness because the treasures of Egypt is the highest rule and passion of most people's lives but the team of God is going to rule the passion of my life whatever but when you prefer and seek the things which are seen which are temporal rather than the things which are not seen which are eternal when we grieve and stifle and quench the Holy Ghost and all of that to get all of this and run from church and deny ourselves of getting in what I wouldn't have missed over here tonight being in church with you for anything in the world what was that worth to say everything that was a deluge of the spirit all I'm telling you put this first and if you don't have the Holy Ghost lift your hands and let us pray for you any time in their service and we'll pray you through to the Holy Ghost hang out the prophet writes now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts consider your ways you've sown much you bring in little and you eat but you have not enough you drink but you're not filled with drink you close but there is none warm and he that earnest wage is earnest wages to put them in a bag with holes consider your ways if you won't God's blessings in favor upon your life put God first not second not third but first first of all God he must be first in your time so redeem every bit of the time I've got to give it everything I've got I don't have but just a few more days or months or years he must be first in everything he's first on every page in the Bible so I must get on the same page with him he will not allow himself to be anywhere other than first and bless our life totally no he will not you will not have the total blessing that he wanted to give to you unless you put him first he wants our firstfruits he wants our first priority to be prayer the fruit of the Spirit God loved through us he wants it flowing out of us there's a river of life flowing out of me that's what the Holy Ghost ears it's eternal life there's a river of life flowing out of me - everybody out come in contact with makes the eyes to see the lame to walk all of that have you ever heard that song there's a river of life flowing out of me that makes the lame to walk in the blind to see opens prison doors sets the captives free that's what we're here for say I've got it say I've got this show our family members that God must be first in everything in our faithfulness to church in our prayer in our worship it's caught better than it's talked that pretty girl standing here with that the way you ought to go tell those young people you ought to tell them how great they sang and how good they preached oh you cannot give the Lord some of your heart and the world and things another portion no it ain't you ate a half sinner and a half saint any more than you can produce a creature - I found you must be all in or all out you've got to throw your hat in the ring here tonight and first church that what do you think he'll do first vibe if you will serve me and seek me first I'll set you on high above all the nations of the earth and all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God I will bless your family I will bless your fields I will bless your cattle I will bless your flocks and the sheep I will bless whatever we need we think we can go out and buy you can't buy this Holy Ghost you can't buy what I felt here tonight your money perish with you your money perish with you one man tried to buy it and Peter told them all no no you can't buy this you can buy this so when you lift your hands and repent he'll forgive you of anything and everything he will pause fresh things out on you all the promises say I want it I'm going to get up in the morning and start a new road in my life I'm not gonna let anybody get by without me trying to reach them we have forgotten that our wealth is in the lives of our family whatever we need in the quality of our homes in the faith of our souls and our children in our church in our Redemption this is a Redemption Center you can't turn anybody away here take that away and all that is left is shallow shallow and hollow and unreal but there are things that moth and rust cannot corrupt and thieves cannot break through and steal one of these is a godly heritage that's the greatest treasure you could lay up for your family a godly heritage not a screaming yelling stingy greedy lazy grumpy hard to get along with heritage not a pornography internet watching my father and I started crying when I heard him early the next morning a knock came on the door after that man prayed that prayer he had a box full of groceries crying and saying brother Gibson I had delayed paying my tithe God woke me up and told me I'd better find you and pay my tithes or he was going to take everything I had I know what God can do we had a good breakfast that morning I know what my God can do if you've never been there and God performs a miracle like that for you yeah you'll get out here and dance yeah you'll clap your hands yes you're talking tongues go tell people when you get the Holy Ghost you got the resurrection power that will resurrect you if you're still living it'll check you out of here you do not know what you're missing out on if you don't have the Holy Ghost you don't even know how powerful it is to play in the Holy Ghost when you play in the Holy Ghost it's a dimension you can't even describe I wish I had time to describe it pulls down mountains it will it will pull down anything it will pull down anything I say anything and tear down anything go ahead right there you're waving that one hand I want to see both hands waves there you go that's it I'm not gonna waste it I'm not going to tarnish it or water it down or compromise it I'm gonna pass it on to my children and their children's children say moth raw rust no thief can destroy it diminish it or steal it it's been laid up for me and mine it's a priceless treasure I don't intend to crack the door and let some steal some thief that knows how that knows when that door is cracked he could walk in and steal everything you got don't crack the door to the devil say don't give him an inch he'll take a mile no say I'm not gonna do it there's something else that change us and change the way we think and the way we've been living this uncommitted society God is looking for committed men committed to their home and their family and their church men who are committed to the relationships their wives their children that it lead them and give them an example cherish your family protect them and train them to love talk about them how great they are don't chew up your leaders at the table don't talk about it don't be gossiping run from gossipers like the wind don't hang around people that that gossip hang around people that says he's the greatest thing I've ever known he's a boy he does ever say he's done so much for me I cannot tell at all oh-oh-oh-oh one of our pastors not long ago just walk to the pulpit and just he just fell dead that could happen to me even here's a knot you don't know I'm ready I'm ready I have watched thieves they'll break through and steal they are they leave empty lives now there's nothing left I'll see them talk to today it's a sad situation it's a sad situation I prayed with somebody about it the bright lights attracted the moths carnality lust lukewarmness indifference deceptiveness of the gradual when you feel yourself sliding back get the hands laid on you I will when I feel even the anointing lifted on me I'll go find somebody and then on my knees in front of them and say lay hands on me and pray for me I want a new refilling of the Holy Ghost be faithful to your church do a good thing for your employee give at least what seems to be God's basic reference or do you wish you didn't have to give it all is it at all it's easier to go hunting and fishing and golfing than it is to go to church think about all of that would you rather watch a ballgame than to listen to your pastor preach where are you banking where are you investing be careful you can lose it all I'm talking about making decisions here tonight how many of you in here you don't be ashamed how many of you in here have the Holy Ghost let's see your hands raised would you put the other hand up and say I want a refilling of it here tonight would you is there anybody by you that doesn't have the Holy Ghost is there anybody by you that doesn't have the Holy Ghost I pray right tonight that you look at them and say let's you and I I wish somebody just get up and say I'm coming to that altar I want the Holy Ghost I wish somebody else that say I need a refilling I wish somebody to get up and say I've been lukewarm I want go ahead I want you to come to this front I want you to walk down here and say I want a refilling I want the Holy Ghost oh yeah you don't walk tomorrow I'll be down there then in a minute go ahead walk I've sent that's it go ahead right there you're going to get there comes another one that's it go what you stand with us what you saying everybody's saying no is there anybody that doesn't have the Holy Ghost would you raise your hand don't be ashamed anybody you don't have it would you join me
