seems very optimistic to say there is a 1/20 chance of 3c by 2100
Let's face it, videos like this one do next to nothing to help Westerners appreciate what's coming, because brown people in tropical countries suffering from natural disasters, famine and war is well within our subconsicious understanding of "business as usual".
Like I said here before, people will react more strongly to a shortage of bananas than to news of an unfathomable cataclycysm in a banana-growing country.
Several interviews are conducted with individuals have had their lives upended by the climate crisis. Climate refugees and Wet Bulb temperatures are discussed.
As the video correctly states, even at +1,1Β° C we're already experiencing any sort of disaster...
...and that's why the G20 commitment to stay within +1,5Β° C sounds ridiculous to me.
