Isn't it dangerous to go without oxygen?
The video is interesting and all but that was the wrong person to send down there. Judging from his voice, he was increasingly in fear. Now all went good here but if you panic in such a situation, shit can get real very fast and nobody can help you.
Also why no radio to communicate?
I think I've been there before or at least a mine shaft like that. I was at San Luis PotosΓ it was booming mining town turned ghost town turned tourist town, every building is either a hotel, restaurant or gift shop just about. The mine at one point produced the majority of the worlds silver. I went up the mountain at night with some fellow backpackers to watch a meteor shower and we passed this hole in the ground. I was amazed that there was no fencing whatsoever around the opening. Dropped a rock and tried to count the seconds before I heard it but lost count. Was a bit buzzed. The meteor shower was amazing, looking up at the sky laying among ruins.
you can really hear the fear in his voice but he still commentates through it. Good on him!
Seems super sketchy, couldn't the rope break down rubbing against the rocks?
19:11... wtf was that hissing sound, what living creature that we can tolerate is actually in those depths.. notice how in that small cavern/cave type deal he didn't even peer inside to see what was lurking in the darkness.. omg
Whereβs part 2?
Any other videos from this channel you would recommend in particular if someone is looking to get into it?
Would a walkie talkie not work that far down?
