foreign [Music] once again today we will recreate this 3D sci-fi environment inside of Unreal Engine 5 and we will be use this completely free kid by kit best 3D so you can also follow along I will show you the complete process from downloading the kit to the export the scene in Unreal Engine sequencer so without much further Ado let's start the video so to download the kit simply go to Kit bash and select this Minerva and just go down and here you will get this download your free kit this is actually a challenge you can also join their challenge just go here and check out the details you can also join so I'm going to download the kit just get your free kit here and select this one and check out after then download the kids and here we have select the kit and this is important just select your software whatever you want to use I am using this unreal and select this to Native and select the resolution to care 4K whatever you wish and download it after downloading just extract the file and here we have the project unreal just open this so after opening the project here in the content browser you can see there is a folder name as mission to Minerva so if I go inside you can see all the folders are here geometry actors materials and textures if I go inside these actors you can see here lots of actors are available here so all we have to do is drag and drop and create the scene okay so let's start from the scratch so I will go to file new level I'm gonna select this empty level here create and then I will create the live setup let's drag and drop this direction light then Skylight make this both movable and I'm gonna go to visual effect and let's drag and drop the Skylight I mean Sky atmosphere sorry Sky atmosphere and then volumetric clouds and exponential height Fork actually I'm not going to use this clouds so I will delete this okay so this much enough for my light setup and next I will go to Skylight and enable this real-time capture and then let's create a landscape for that I am going to use landmass plugin for that I will go to edit plugin and here I will search for landmass and simply enable this one and restart your program after restarting I will simply go to landscape and here I will get this enable edit layer simply enable this one and you can change its squares I am going to select this 127 quotes and hit OK create so here you can see there is a blueprint option if I select here and then just below that you can see there is a tool setting let me yes okay you can see blueprint brush if I select here we have lots of landscape brush option so I am going to use this one custom brush landmass and and I am going to click anywhere in this landscape so let's click here and here you can see let me show you okay this is a triangle kind of mountain or whatever you can say okay so we will modify this one in a large mountain or landscape okay so let's change it what you have to do is just select any point okay select any point and move this anywhere you want to move just like this okay and I'm gonna use this one and move this to here just like this okay and I'm gonna move this to the middle just like this okay and also I can add one more Point here by right click and add spline Point here and I can move this just like this okay another one at here sorry right click add spline Point here okay in this way you can design your own landscape and let's add some detailing on our Mountain just select the landscape brush and just go down under this detailed settings okay so I'm going to this follow-up setting and enable this cap share and you can see the mountain or the landscape is finished so what we have to do we have to play through this details settings let's change this falloff angle to something like 70 okay and if you don't understand just use this value and you will get the exact shape of your Mountain okay and if I go down just below just like here okay we have some curl noise and I'm going to change its strength to something like 1.0 and second one will be 0.26 okay you can just use this value okay if you don't want to spend much more time then here we have displacement height I am going to use 747 and telling will be 2 same and let's go to here now fall off okay so our follow angle is 70. and I'm going to use its width to something like three zero seven eight also I can increase more something like 3 okay use this value if you don't want to waste time okay and then I'm going to use this one increase its value 5984 something like 5000 now you can see our landscape is ready or our mountain is ready we will assemble all the assets just over here and if you want to know more about the landscape creation inside of Unreal Engine 5 then you can check out my channel lots of videos are there lots of videos are there okay so you can go and check out that and one more thing I will go down just here and here I have tracing Alpha I will change its value to something like 0.5 now what I will do I will simply duplicate this one okay by pressing Alt and must remember you have to select this brush okay and simply press alt and move this like this yes this is fine guys okay so let's add some material to our landscape and I'm going to use some snow material from the quixel so I will go to select mode and I'm going to pixel Bridge so after opening the pixel please go to surface and then I'm gonna select this now and you can choose mixed or pure your wish okay I'm going to use this one and from here you can choose any of these snow surface material so I have already downloaded from my environment so I'm simply going to local and let me show you also you can download all these 3D assets if you want to use on your landscape okay this is also up to you so let me show you my material yes this one I'm going to use this surface material so I will increase its size by highest quality and Export it so let's close this one and if I go to my surface okay don't be confused I have already downloaded lots of materials for my landscape okay so don't be confused so this one is the snow material I'm going to use now so what I will do simply select the material select the landscape and simply go down sorry here okay here we have landscape material simply click on this you can say this is so much bright so let's uh change the light Direction by Ctrl l okay also we can add some post processing volume here so simply go to this visual effect and add this post processing volume and I'm going to open this exposure and change its minimum and maximum exposure to one by one and go to search box and search for Infinity and enable this one okay now the exposure is under control see I am just showing you the process okay uh you have to take much more time if you want to create a beautiful landscape or a beautiful scene I'm just showing you the process and rest up to you take your time take much more time to create beautiful scene okay so this will be my landscape and let me and I will select this exponential height Fork and if I go down I can increase this or also I can change its position from here this one or from here you can place this like this this way okay also if I go down here we have Fox scattering color I can change its color to white whatever your environment will be just change the color accordingly otherwise it's not needed okay so let's change it to little bit of white not more just like this okay that's enough and just go down and here we have volumetic Fork that's all for my light setup I will close this and go to this folder you can select these actors or you can also select this geometries that's up to you okay so I'm going to actors to save my time so simply start from here I'm simply drag and drop this to here okay and you can say this is so much big so I will decrease its size like 0.5 just like this then this one here and also its size also 0.5 so it's up to you guys take your time and just cover all this landscape look over all the assets what all these are you just complete this scene okay because this is so so much time taking and let's go to the next step so after completing the scene you can see this will look like this I have used all the actors from this okay all of this I have aired this one okay so now all we have to do is let's enable the you can see here I have moved all the assets to a separate folder how you can do that simply select all the assets okay whatever your assets select all the assets and right click move to just create a new folder and that's all okay so I have already created now I am going to enable this exponential height Fork and you can see guys this is so realistic so if I go to my folder again and if I go down here we have two more interesting things that we can animate okay so let's drag and drop this one first you can see this is a kind of cargo shape so let's decrease its size by 0.5 and another one is this one okay this is a vehicle so let's decrease its size also 0.5 okay so let's animate this specially first I mean this cargo ship so if I go in this angle you can see this door is open and this these are the nozzles and these legs should not be there if this is flying okay so we will emerge this one so let's go to our content and here I am going to use this level sequence and let's rename as short one save and this is our level sequence and here I am going to drag and drop this spaceship to my timeline so select this okay and simply drag and drop this one to here okay so let's adjust this door little bit first after then we will animate that so select the spaceship or cargo shape whatever it is and simply select choose from here okay or you can also choose from here so let's select this Rod this two rod and I am going to hide this so if I search for render here I have visible option I will disable this one and that is vanished and second one will be this we will close this one so rotate this just like this also you can select this both this and this okay rotate this and move these two here okay actually I'm not going to use this one actually sorry I will dis disable this visible okay this is fine for me and also this legs these legs okay this civil disable and this one also okay that's all so let's animate the flight first I mean spaceship so I will select this and go to track and and go to transform and here we have transform option so this is our five second timeline so I'm going to select the first frame and you can rotate it move it whatever position you want okay so I will leave it like this and let's add a keyframe here and I'm going to go to last frame and place it here okay and this will be rotated like this okay and let's add another keyframe here actually this is auto keyframe why you can enable this one for your auto keyframe okay if you want to do auto keyframe then you can simply enable this one okay and if you want to know more about timeline sequencer and Camera animation then you can check out my tutorials lots of videos are there okay so let's play this wow you can see this is beautiful so let's animate its different parts like this thrusters okay so if I go to First frame and let's select this one and just go under details and you can see we have four thrusters a b c d okay go to this track option and select this Thruster a Thruster B Thruster C and another one sorry D okay so we have four Thruster here don't be confused okay so this is the first one you can see we can rotate it separately so when it is in first frame my Thruster will be like this okay all the thrusters will be like this position okay this is C and this one is D okay so let's start keyframe from first thruster this one so in first frame the Thruster will be like this position so let's go to track transform and here we have transform option so simply open this go to rotation and just check its rotation which rotation you want to change so this is the pitch angle so let's start animating so in the first frame let's add the keyframe here like this and simply go to last frame let's see and here we will change its page to something like this okay minus 62 okay and simply play this now let's see what happening yes you can see this is more being so beautifully so now all we have to do is copy this keyframe by selecting this both right click copy and let's go to its another thruster and go to track transform open the transform go to rotation and must remember this will be in your first frame okay this one so go to First frame and under this page right click and paste it same with the third one go to track transform and then open the transform rotation right click paste okay also for last one track transform open the transform rotation page right click paste okay so I think all my thrusters are now animated so let's play it yes guys you can see this is mind blowing okay so in this way you can animate any any object any parts okay I hope you got this so let's add a camera now let's close this one and I'm going to use sorry let's go to cinematic here and add this in a camera actor drag and drop and go to this right side right click on camera snap object to view and go to perspective select the Cinematic and then again select the cine camera actor okay now our camera is selected so all you have to do select the camera go down and change its film back to something 16x9 DSLR and lens setting will be 30 mm or whatever you want to do like okay you can also change its manually by 22 by 22 okay I basically use this 22 mm so let's place the camera here in the first pin let's drag and drop this camera to our timeline okay so now we are going to animate our camera here we have already a transform option so all we have to do is just add a keyframe I am going to add a keyframe in this position of camera and I will go to last frame and here I'm going to place my camera like this okay and add another keyframe and here for camera animation I'm going to select this both keyframes right click linear and let's play this now you can see okay after then you can just move the spaceship too far away and just add keyframe and animate this accordingly so this is so much easy process okay so let's render this now so I am living up to you whatever your idea is whatever your imagination is just create by using this kits and just practice it so let's go to render setting here and here we have short one so let's select this one and here we have lots of option like exr PNG and lots of option jpg also here so I'm not going to use this jpg option so I will delete this and go to setting again I'm gonna use this exr sequence again I will select entrealizing for better quality setting okay then under this anti-aliasing I'm gonna change its value to 64. and just enable this override anti-alizing okay and that's all just go to Output select your folder here okay select the folder and this is our resolution if you want to change in any other resolution just change the values okay and except after then simply render this okay so after rendering simply open your any of the video editing software whatever you are using so I am using this Adobe Premiere Pro so I'm gonna import that exr sequence so double click on this import media so this is my another sequence so so don't be confused so use whatever your sequence will be so I am going to use this one select the first frame and simply open this and drag and drop okay so don't be confused this is another sequence I have used so you can see this is the perfect video so I'm going to color grade this little bit so I'm gonna go to color and here I can change its look to something like metric mass and you can see look is completely changed okay you can increase its contrast little bit and after the color grading just go to file export media and here we have output name and just select the folder and simply save this and that's all guys select export and your video is ready so this is for today's video guys if you like this video If this video is helpful for you please give a thumbs up to this video and if you are new to my Channel please do subscribe to my channel for more videos like this and
