Scammer High speed car chase with Glitterbombs

hey would you mind talking to me buddy would you mind talking to me what if that call was a scammer a scammer that is calling one of your loved ones do they know how these scammers work would they pick up on their tactics or would they be the next victim why is this happening to my computer all the time he said well you're just an easy target well now i realize yeah i was but i there were many nights that i would cry myself to sleep and i kept thinking like please i pray please god please these scammers are making millions and with that money they have the resources to hire more sophisticated more believable and overall better trained scammers to do their dirty work there's so much that happens in this video and i'm going to show you what i consider the next generation of scammers you are also going to see a pretty crazy car chase involving a money mule that i believe is tied to a large scam operation and of course some glitter bombs but first let's take a look at the scammer who set all this up most people are able to pick up on a few things that set off red flags i commonly hear from people that they would never get scammed because either the scammer is too rude why you don't know what is this key [ __ ] they have bad communication skills or they lack emotion or relatability son please don't cry go get go get a napkin this is unbecoming of you these can be dead giveaways for some but not all are easy to identify there are some who really change the perception of what a scammer is like meet christine hello thank you for contacting amazon this is christine how can i help you now pretend that you don't already know this is a scam call listen to her interactions with me pay close attention to see if she sounds genuine engaging and patient with me and if she's relatable the actual scam call was several hours so i broke it down to give you a brief understanding of the scam itself and her different interactions with me hi i'm calling regards to you all reaching out about a 400 order okay we have found a suspicious activity on your amazon account believing that someone is using your details to do fraudulent activity on amazon so what i can do is that i can help you to cancel the order and then i can help you to refund the money back to your account no i i'm on my computer right now i'm looking at um the icons and i'm looking at google christine begins to warm up the customer by building rapport she wants to talk about things like how joyce is beautiful she loves drinking wine not to be worried and that she's going to help she also throws into joyce that her job is very difficult she has no benefits and she only does it in order to survive when asked where she lives christine says she's from florida just like joyce's she responds that they should hang out sometime as well yeah okay i'm and you also sound like a gorgeous and a very sweet lady so don't be worried i'm going to help you out okay i'm on my google chrome oh i love wine you know i like chardonnay it's perfect do you speak spanish you said perfecto i just use some uh spanish words or french words i like that oh my goodness me tombi and me and kanta vino rojo see i'm i'm a young girl but still having a boring life just walking my ass off every day no benefit you don't get any benefits no we have to work 12 hours even 15 hours a day right now we are working 14 hours a day why are you working there then if they're not giving you benefits for survival we need to survive in this bloody city right it's so expensive what city i live in florida oh you do so why oh that's nice then we can pay each other a visit sometime and we can hang out together yeah you need to type the phone because it's not my money you know that i have to pay i have to pay from the amazon account right christine is now having joyce fill out a refund form for 500. this will then turn into a 50 000 scam christine's going to cover joyce's screen with an image so she can't see anything as they manipulate the bank account from there christine will reveal how she's at risk of losing her job over the next few minutes and then start to turn the emotional screws on joyce this is where it gets really scary for the victim because they start to get a lot of anxiety about somebody losing their job maybe going to jail and how are you going to return that fifty thousand dollars it should be five yeah i can't i can't really see it very well because i don't have my specs but it says 500.00 okay now give a click on summit it says do not shut down your computer software is updating yeah maybe it is updating that is the reason just look at your checking account and do you see the balance i'm just telling that did you receive the 500 it says 50 000. i i put 500.00 honey oh my god do you even understand that it's 50 000 uh can i can i just uh hope that you are going to help us out so the people will think that we both are working together and scamming amazon for 50 000 okay i would never scan amazon so now ma'am you are telling that i am the person who sent you 50 000 if i wanted to send you money why will i not send the money to my account we are going to do some shopping of gift cards so that on the amazon web page i can redeem those gift cards and at least get some money today i'm starting to get a little bit nervous myself i might need to stay here and have a glass of whiskey or something and i know that you're you told me that you're such a good woman that you're never going to hurt anyone yes i'm never going to give you up honey i'm never going gonna let you down and i wouldn't hurt you i wouldn't run around and desert you yeah because you you said that you wanted me to get married to your grand grandson so in that case we are kind of family well yes you're like my gran my granddaughter okay get a pen and a paper in your hand i'm going to explain to you exactly what you are going to do okay okay well i have a pen handy i just don't have a paper handy now let me go find the paper okay okay go look for the paper handy okay you're making everything funny right now but i'm scared inside why am i making it funny why am i making you laugh honey because you're so sweet i cannot i cannot be scared and i cannot be rude to you ever like you're such a sweet woman i cannot help myself but smile well thank you sweetie on the paper right down you need to first of all go to best buy they have a lot of gift cards over there you need to buy the gift card of only best buy from best buy okay okay they are going to ask you that did you have any conversation with anyone or didn't even tell you to buy anything or anything like that just simply say that i'm buying the gift cards for my personal reason joyce will be now going in her vehicle to go and collect gift cards from three different stores best buy target and walmart this is all by the direction of christine in order to turn around the money as quickly as possible that they could steal from their victim now i have something else in store as i will be using my own tactics in order to flip the script on christine and go take the money out of the bank where the goal is to send a package via fedex christine will continue to chat up joyce as if they are family and even ask her to watch the tv show friends right after the work is done uh like when you're talking to me behave like you're speaking to your granddaughter okay oh okay yes do i call you yes ma'am i'm just saying no don't call me ma'am okay call me chris call me chris okay call your chris love chris okay chris okay and just call you can call me i mean you can call me joyce you can call me j mama oh yeah okay all right i will call you jay mama he's like chandler you know chandler and friends did you watch friends yes oh sandler yeah i know sandler yeah and i'm like monika you know did you watch friends yes i've seen monica my granddaughter's name is monica we are going to watch web series together you know we're going to watch it together you reach best buy no i'm i'm actually closer to my bank i'm i'm stopping by my bank to get the money out that you said you don't need to withdraw the money you just use your debit card in the store oh okay well that's when i dealt with the microsoft guys the other day that's that i had to get out just go to my bank and get the money out i owed the microsoft guys 75 000. scammers will always want their victims to go down the scammer's path at returning money of course i want to flip the script on the scammers so i'm going to use a tactic that is key in taking over control over christine in this situation and that is introducing another scammer joyce will quietly tell christine that she has worked with another company in this case microsoft before where she owed them 75 000 she was able to send the money back by taking money out of her bank and sending it via fedex package and gone is the opportunity now of christine getting any money via gift cards and they just had me take all of it and put i had to put it in these boxes and wrap it and then i sent it to their manager okay all right no problem and when did you send that um it was last year okay i know how to do the other stuff faster than this this is a lot of work honey are you sure about it yes okay so you will be able to withdraw the 50 000 right now from your account uh yes and what will you tell the bank people why are you withdrawing 50 000 from your account uh because my granddaughter she works at amazon and we had a mishap with the accounts and i owe her 50 000. no no no no listen when you go to the bank normally how you do you tell that you want to withdraw 50 000 from your account and if they ask you why you're withdrawing the money just tell them that i'm buying uh huh i'm buying a house for my granddaughter and that is why hello christina yeah hello yeah um i'm back in the car oh i feel like i feel like bonnie and clyde i got the money out oh they were giving me such a hard time this time you know what they were telling me what they were saying man this this looks like it's fraudulent i said no it's not i said this is my grant she's my soon-to-be granddaughter she's gonna be getting married to my grandson so okay very good very good but i got it i hope you're proud of me all right i hope you're proud of me christina yeah i'm really proud of you i'm really proud of you do you have the box and everything at your home uh yes i do have a box andy okay then do one thing come back home okay come back home and be in front of your computer let's fast forward a bit to the point where joyce is making her way home and goes back home with all of the money taken out of her bank account christine now will want to confirm that that money has been withdrawn from joyce's account so it's a good thing that i'm able to actually manipulate my bank account to show that record from there we're going to be wrapping up the package with all the money and get ready to be sent out via fedex to christine so now just see on the computer you see that the money has come out of your account right yeah the i i took out yeah well what what do you mean i see i did it oh yeah i know it i'm just asking you my boss told me that it is not very safe to send couriers with so much money go ahead and do it in the meantime i'm providing you the address okay 27 oh okay all right honey well um so let me get let me let me call you back on this other line okay all right okay okay just give me one moment all right i love you okay i love you i love you too okay all right bye time is it for them right now it's gotta be six am she's gotta be so tired so they so we put the money in these little books and then we wrap them with foil and then we wrap them with uh bubble wrap so we put them all together in one but i can put in i can just do one at the same at a time i guess yeah you packed up so nicely so neat and clean thank you honey i put i so i use the books last time with the other guys they had me put the money inside of the books oh lovely okay honey i'll call you in the morning i love you i love you too bye-bye bye-bye she was super trying to cut me off this was my initial call with christine the protocol is to get the money from you within 24 hours but since i was coordinating with mark rober we had to have several things line up before sending the glitter bomb i stayed in touch with christine for the next several weeks i basically played the same game that they do stringing her along the way so i could buy myself more time it's very difficult to keep these scammers on the hook for so long especially one as good as christine and then it happened mark was ready and gave me the green light to lock in the delivery i reached out to christine with the name and location set the package went out and it was time to track down a money mule and here is our friend walking in to walgreens the money mule the first line money mule is taking all the risk to go in here and get this package for a quick payday now he's not alone he's got a spotter with him the spotters already walked by one time to make sure the coast is clear and he's coming again he's going to walk by and see if anyone's watching or anyone's going to jump out of the bushes at them once the coast is clear then our money meal will leave the walgreens with package in hand the scammers like to use these frontline money mules to take away all risk involved if these guys get caught then they go to jail the spotter is gone he's leaving he's made his move and now the money mule is out of walgreens with his package he feels like the coast is clear and from there he's going to go and deliver this package to the second line money mule little does this money mule know that we are actually currently inside of the box with video and audio where we'll be able to listen in on the conversation between the frontline money mule and the second line money mule hey all right look meet me at the gas station the one that's right hold on let me show you the name it's a speedway right here in front of me oh the frontline money meal meets up with the second level money mule at a gas station and passes off the glitter bomb to him this mule will open the package and also give us a nice face reveal say cheese hello you guys give up oh yeah thirsty for more 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 four three two one activation complete recovery sequence initiated at this point he opened the glitter bomb so investigators go in but then he decides to take off in his car it's moving so the investigators let him go where the money mule then proceeded to take a picture of the glitter bomb as proof to send to the scammers he then tossed the glitter bomb out of the car and left the scene here's the glitter bomb box ditched i don't see footprints other than mine so it appears he chunked it out the window right there with investigators waiting behind for any additional activity about a week later the same white vehicle approached the liquor store where the initial glitter bomb was open after reviewing building documentation vehicle reports and liquor licenses we are able to correlate similarities among the three we believe that this liquor store possibly could be a front for a money laundering group tied to these scammers hey everyone pierogi here it's uh like 6 15 a.m and um i'm tired but this project with mark rober and his team has been incredible we've seen a lot of results she sent me a text and she's not very happy she wants her money her boss wants the money to get to this point with her it's exhausting and now it's all burned right mark and his team they're on location they're excited for more packages more addresses and i've got to figure out a way to get another one asap i do have an idea to maybe get christine back on board with us is to tell her that the rival scammer that i introduced the microsoft scammer is the one to blame i think if i can do that then we can get another address i hope yes yes this is first so my plan did work bringing in the second scammer scared christine and her boss enough that they're going to take another shot at getting a package from me and give me an address let's show you how it unfolds to provide you the address and you need to clear the boxes today okay okay so worried i thought that i did not know what oh well i never got any messages from you until today i got like 10 different messages today okay okay i'm so sorry about that i was sending you a lot of messages i was giving you a lot of calls but no problem okay okay do not unpack it can you send me the picture of the block oh yeah the uh the thing is there okay i'll present with the picture of the box all packed up and ready i'm going in the line okay okay okay so my boss over here he's telling me just to open one box the 20 000 one okay you take out the cash and send me a good picture because i need to show him that he does not believe me he still thinks that i am the person who took your money okay i'm so sorry love you know that how much i love you right you know how much i love you he thinks that i am right now playing a joke with him he thinks that i am the person who took the 50 thousand and now i'm just lying you need to write down the address that i'm giving to you okay i'm sending you a message with the address okay okay i think it's fedex okay okay this time yeah this time this time you will go to ups okay i'm giving you the address the name and everything when you go there okay in the cooler place i'm just telling you right now okay just keep this in your mind but you have to say i want overnight express delivery okay okay okay love i'm holding on you continue your work and then let me know i will not put you on news okay i'm receiving you as it is okay mark and i have been hammering these money mules for months from new jersey to california to texas and now illinois so now you're going to see a very agitated second level money mule directly picking up the package these money mules are confused and frustrated there are no fall guys on this one all of the risk is on them we had a few technical difficulties so we only had one camera available we also were able to translate the conversation between the second line money mule and his boss in india they were speaking gujarati and the money mules directed to open up the package and confirm the sum of the money inside i am sure this money meal was glad to have a broom in his vehicle because of all that excess glitter that exploded everywhere inside of his car let's pause for a moment this money mule who's already agitated now has a glitter bomb that is detonated in his car with glitter everywhere fart spray and sirens going off today is not a good day for him 15 15. 14 13 12 11. after he discards the glitter bomb investigators once again go to confront him and he really did not want to get caught there's so much footage of this guy trying to get away from us and he was going all around town here is a condensed version of the car chase his vehicle was a texas license plate did he have ties to the money mules down in texas that we caught hey would you mind talking to me buddy would you mind talking to me so so man that guy really wanted to get away he even ran two red lights before losing the pi we were able to get a lot of information on both of these money mules and even how they're all tied together through this location these money mules are getting scared and with fewer available it becomes even harder for scammers to move big money going after these scammers is an expensive and time-consuming effort but with all of your support i'm able to continue this battle i want to thank
