Safiya & Tyler's First Dance To The Addams Family Tango

{ INTRO MUSIC } [Safiya] Hello, friends, and welcome to another video. Today, we have some bonus wedding content for you [Tyler] This is the full version of our first dance, which was a recreation of the tango scene from The Addams Family Values. [Safiya] What can I say? I'm a Morticia stan. [Tyler] Now, as some of you guys might know, we recently posted a full wedding vlog, which featured a fair amount of our first dance, [Safiya] but we weren't able to put the actual music in, because it would get copyright claimed, and then, like, Paramount or Atlas, or whoever would claim our entire wedding video. So we decided to post our first dance by itself as a little bonus video, here- just in case it gets taken down, it's not taking the rest of the wedding vlog down with it. So with that, here is our first dance. [Tyler] Also, quick preface: obviously, neither of us are trained or pro-dancers in any way. So, please don't roast us, this was just for fun. [LOUDSPEAKER: Ladies and gentlemen, your bride and groom's first dance together as husband and wife.] [AUDIENCE: APPLAUSE AND CHEERING] [MUSIC BEGINS] Addams Family Values: The Original Orchestral Score Track #8 - The Tango [MUSIC PLAYING] [APPLAUSE AND CHEERING] [Safiya] So that was our first dance. I think it went pretty well. There were a few hiccups, here and there. [Tyler] I got a little lost in the moment, and went for, like, the second buns-a-rollin' spin, so Saf lost a little momentum on the ground, and had to be like, dragged up. But we improvised. [Safiya] We made it work. [Tyler] We made it work . [Safiya] As Tim Gunn says. [Safiya] Overall, it was so much fun learning and performing this dance. It was definitely one of the highlights of the night for me, and I think our family and friends thought it was fun too. [Tyler] There were a lot of shocked faces. Next up, real knives and real backflips. [CONCERN and FLASHBACKS] Or not.
