- Can you figure it out? - I can't open it with the key, I don't know how I'm going
to open it without it! (Laughs) There we go. - Is that just single-layer steel? - Uh, yeah, you can see right through it. - Huh! But look how beefy that door is! Just think of all the
bandits that could keep out. The safe is all set up. Only Mitchell knows the code. - And I already forgot it. - What we are going to do, you got the keys? Toss the keys in! And then uh, we're gonna stick some items of value. Before I came here, I
went to the bank and I uh, withdrew a small amount; and this is how the bank gave it to me. It's just a cool ten thousand dollars. So I'm going to stick that in there. - I mined this this weekend. (Laughs) And smelted it - Ah, so your standard, Standard issue gold bar. - So, we've got plenty of valuables in there. The safe is now locked. Today's goal, - Should've put the silica gel in there. - Oh crap. Today's goal is, we need to break into this safe, without damaging the goods inside. Can we do it? - I mean, you could probably do
it with a screwdriver, but, we'll use a water jet today. (Laughs) - This is just a Harbor Freight
safe, so it's not the best, But, this is just a, proof of concept, we wanna prove that we can use the water jet to break into a safe, without damaging the goods inside. - We're gonna tip it, to the side, to get all the valuables
away from the water jet. And then just come in
here into the crack and cut the bolts. - We're gonna set it at a speed, probably, I don't remember where the bolts were. They're about there. And we'll just go over those bolts, at the speed you would, for like, one-inch steel, and that should be slow enough to just cut those. So just make sure it doesn't fall into the tank. Is that gonna? - I'll dive in and get it. (Laughs) - All right, there, in our high jog speed. And bring it forward and back to see how square we are. That looks pretty good. (Music) I really did not think we'd have to cut the
hinges off as well, but; what is, do you think the lock, locks the hinge in? So it doesn't rotate. - I know in some do they do that, it comes out both ends, it didn't seem like this was one of those kind. - We yeah, we didn't look at the
inside of that hinge. - I did. - Oh, you did? There weren't bolts going into the back? - Oh lets - Oh! Don't lose it! I can't help you I'm holding the camera. - That's the valuables. - Everything is on the left side now. (Music) - Is that money? That looks like a hundred dollar bill there man. (Laughs) - No! - But, looks like that can be bent. We probably were fine before. - We probably didn't
need to cut the hinges. That's steaming! - This even feels hot! - So far there's, oh yeah look. It's just like a basic hinge, there's no way that those
were locked with the, the electronics. That hole is plugged
with what looks to be, - Cash. Money. - The hot water is really hot. It's like almost burn-you hot. No! (Laughs) That's not looking good! Oh! - That's the felt pad - Oh, that's the felt pad? - That and the felt pad is trashed. Like what happened in there? - What do you need, like fifty one percent of the bill in order to get it replaced? - That's at least fifty one. - Okay. So now I'm only down nine thousand, nine hundred. Just need to rinse it off and then, hang it out and dry it. - We got some problems here! - Didn't you say you mined this? - Yeah. Are you gonna cut to the clip where we made this out of aluminum? - If this was a real gold bar, I assume, gold is about as soft as aluminum right? - I don't, probably softer. - So, the jet definitely hit parts of this. We would've lost some sweet flecks of gold. - Not as much, not as much as you lost here. - Not as much as there but, you would've lost some flecks of gold. If there was an actual gold bar in there. Well, I think we were too
confident in our abilities, and, this was unsuccessful. - I'm just glad it wasn't my money. - Okay guys, actually I've got another confession to make. This is not real money. - For movie use only. - It looks pretty good though! It's even got the, Metal security strips in it. I'm impressed! This fake money, is a lot more papery than real money is. Real money is made out of what, cotton? - I think cotton. - So real money may have fared better than this, but I don't think - Not a whole lot - I don't think a whole lot better yeah. So, now I think we are going to start our water jet safes business, where we'll, open up any safe you've got. - Now you'll bring the safe, and we'll open it for free. We just get half of whatever is inside. - And we have no guarantees, against damage. (Laughs) - You'll sign a waiver. And then we'll get half. - We'll get half of the mush. Last step I want to do is, I want to cut that door in half, and see what's going on inside of it. (Music) Still didn't get through it all? - A few spots are stuck
together on the bottom. So this is the high security. That's all the hardened steel in it, and it just moves this back and forward. - That's lead. Then, I'm sure the pieces that were attached to there got cut off. - So this could've just
been drilled through. And you probably could've
slid that sled back. If both were just hooked to here. So this would pull it back or, engage, allowing this to pull it back. - So if you drilled this out, like even, that's not hardened steel, that's mild stuff on this door, like, as thick as that is, it still
would be pretty easy to, well, and all that stuff
in there is plastic anyway. - And most of it was all plastic. - So if you, broke out all of the plastic from that, you would already have a hole, in the steel that is, close to an inch in diameter - That you could then like, stick a screwdriver in and then, pull the sled back. So if you want to get this safe to lock up your valuables, you can go to Harbor Freight. And, pick it up for fifty five bucks. - Plus tax. - And warranty. - Don't forget your warranty. (Music)
