Ryan plays with DIY instruments Guitar Drums and more!

hey guys let's gym together silly chasing train pipette what's wrong my guitar broke and I can't Jam too few said did you know that you can make musical instruments using everyday household irons you can yeah why don't you look around and see what you can make then let's have a jamming party okay maybe some beans birthday party I can't use those cans to make a whole big drop great idea right I'll help you alright so we gather balloons very colorful and different colored duct tapes and stickers to decorate the drum yeah and we also got line up chopsticks so we use it after drumstick first the drums that's right right what color the balloons you want so many colors gold in it is alright what's the next color I want purple I thought these two colors now you have to cut out the color this container this looks like swimming hit cap right you can also use rubber bands to hold place no it looks like a drums golden now we're gonna cut off the extra balloon pieces let's go alright man can you just turn turn good job good job and the next thing we're gonna decorate with is okay here put it right here [Music] you can also let's go wait a second if you're here does that mean that Ryan sent us a new project that's right you gotta make some musical instruments musical instruments all me and that sounds like so much fun I bet we could find things around the house to make them with let's find some things you rattle make noise and do other fun stuff yeah I know that sounds great Peck but we should we should probably get going like an instrument they use the strings but we we can go find these things how about one you have to blow into it I'm just gonna go okay oh gosh what are you pre go I gotta go get supplies - oh man what a hard day of work it's time for my snack and it's cheez-its here we go Jesus all over my place no teeth this was my trusty spoon wait what happened where's my cheese's I can use that - oh no where my spoon go oh well at least I salute long-grain and RIS rice wait Roscoe so while Peck is doing whatever it is that he's doing I know the perfect place to start okay we have this whole shelf full of all sorts of arts and crafts and things like that there has to be some good stuff in here so let's see Oh first of all we need tape and this is so bright and fun okay maybe we could use some rubber bands I mean you can do anything with rubber bands let's get all of those definitely some colorful paper I think that's a great idea and ooh I wonder what's in here oh oh look how pretty and sparkly everything is I don't know what we're gonna use this for but we're definitely taking this with us jingle bell that's pretty much an instrument already eggs I don't think somebody put this back on the right spot but I think we could use these too what else do we have wait a second thumbtacks well they're bright and colorful I think we can use this too the last thing we need I know what wrapping paper this is perfect I have everything I need I wonder what Peck is doing what do we have here just gonna borrow these toilet paper here we go yeah oh hey Peck wait where's all the toilet paper sorry did you pack I found some things that we can use for instruments [Music] what if you started with the tambourine one of my favorite percussion instruments that's a great idea Peck and it looks like we have everything we need for starters we can use this plate to be the bass but it's kind of white and playing so we can paint it maybe some bright pretty colors I don't know that's gonna work but I believe in you breathe oh I have the perfect idea what is more colorful than a rainbow so we need all the colors of a rainbow which is Rho G bib so it starts with red and then orange yellow green blue indigo why violet of course I kind of forgot your color Peck sorry whoa looks like a rainbow me cool so the next thing we need to do is try to fold this up like a taco so we have only half a plate we have a rainbow let's see if we can make it work look at that we have a rainbow Wow now I think we need to glue it together all the glue we need to glue this because this has got to hold tight three two one and we're smashing it together it's a little hot this is why you need an adult for help okay because hot glue can get really hot there we go look at that taco know how right hole puncher we need one hole for every jingle go and last one yeah that was a lot of work now we're ready for the jingle bells we put each bow on a string now we're just gonna take the string and tie it to each one of these little holes like that and done now once you have them all tied up guess what you have a tambourine okay so for maracas we can use these eggs that we found some spoons and we can use your long grain enriched dry speck but of course the long grain enriched rice so the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna put some rice in these eggs I think I'm gonna make a mess but it's okay that's part of crafting so we need some rice to make some noises but okay making a lot of mess there we go now we're gonna put the lids on and see if it's on so oh that's so cool all right number two now we need to make sure these don't open so we don't get rice everywhere so maybe we should use some tape whoa seal it up nice and tight that ought to be good and sturdy sounds good to me alright so now we're gonna glue the spoons like this to make a handle you gotta be careful with the hot glue and oh there we go handle number one handle number two all right there we go next we're gonna tape it up and then decorate Oh tipping tipping tipping tipping tipping perfect last rep and done with that I think we could use some decorations though I mean they have to be festive right back yeah bad for the bond tape all right so cute look at all those bright colors we go yes I mean the festive tape is definitely what made in Morocco so listen to that okay well next we can use a toilet paper roll for something you know a peck I actually have an idea for the toilet paper roll but it's gonna be a surprise so you're just gonna have to wait and see what it is we're gonna start with this super shiny sparkly tape okay so just because we don't want it to look like something that came from the bathroom we're gonna wrap it in this super shiny tape whew that's so pretty alright let's cover this other end there we go we're gonna take the tissue paper crinkle crinkle crinkle and put it on the edge of this with a rubber band squirrels for ready done done the science of rubber banding things together super technical there you go well now we can't really see our kazoo so maybe we should trim this up some oh that looks so much better now we can actually see our kazoo oh we're catching a little bit of air here so I think I have the perfect thing to help us out we just need to make a little earful oops let's see if that works since this is already shiny and we have these shiny jewels why not just decorate it a little bit you know for some extra credit we got all our jewels on pack what's next dilash well it'll be tricky okay - whoa I have the perfect body for that guitar what about this little work huh so we're gonna start with the neck of the guitar which we can actually use the wrapping paper roll that we found this is a little long so we're definitely gonna have to shorten it and then we have our body which is this box we have strings to pluck and play with and I think we even have little tuning knobs that we can use you hey perfect length what a coincidence so now we just need to cut a hole so we can stick this guy through it perfect hole so we're gonna use these pieces of cardboard as string holders to hold our strings on in place all right while we're waiting for the glue to dry right here which this is what's gonna hold our strings in place let's put some little tuning knobs of course they're not gonna work but I think it'll really help it look like a guitar so we need six of them total one two three and then the other side there we go that way is when it goes out - and you can just tune it up just like that so he sealed up the ends always you can't get poked by any other thumbtacks and now I think we're just ready for the strings oh we have to do is put the strings on the guitar very carefully make sure we don't pop any there's five and our final string string number six you wanna see how it with this hmm we really need to clean this water up I know just who to call for help we need back hit this way for another eight thousand miles maybe you should make it to the North Pole Oh looks like I'm needed in the lab later buddy Oh what's today's science experiment well alright then just this glass of water but it is really dirty so I think we need to somehow clean it up I think we should make a filter to get rid of the dirt oh that is a great idea but how are you gonna make a filter I think we can use everyday household items oh I think I know some stuff that we could use me too let's get to it let's go hmm something to use as a filter maybe something in the dryer let's see oh here we go the sock so we really need to find something that we can put all of our things then and something to hold it all together but I don't know what do you guys see anything of course there's probably something in here let's kiss oh no oh my perfect it's gonna work great oh hey Daniel does it actual filter so can we use what week I got it we can use these rocks they're perfect there's so many of them man this is gonna work so good whoo a shiny bag of fish gravel I can totally use this to help filter out the dirt to Griego well we're in the kitchen right now and there's gotta be really good stuff that we can use this filter so let's see of course paper towels that should work pretty good wonder if there's anything else [Music] Godley filters I think these items are great but let's do a Peck sky whoa we gathered all the needed materials and adults what do we do now so the first thing we need to do is to make the outside of our container or our filter by cutting up this water bottle whew that's looking so good there we go now the really cool part about using a bottle is we could use the bottom part to catch all of our water but I found this Cup clearance I really like it because of how tall it is and I think we're gonna be able to see our results really well on this oh I see now that we finished our first bottle all we need is two and three bottles that is vivid for our experiment let's get started how'd you do that I must be seeing things alright now we're gonna start with our three different filter bases so paper towels is our first one this this dirty old sock is number two and coffee filters in there third one we can hold them into place with these really strong rubber bands okay rubber bands one two three nice and secure hey Peck could you pass me the Sam one bowls in coming right up uh-huh whoa elkss1 next we need Oh gravel here's some gravelly gravel last thing that we need is rocks mm-hmm big round yeah got perfect all right starting with the seniors well we have to make sure it goes all the way down to the bottom so this comedic scene is nice it doesn't get misty next up is the gravel this is gonna be so pretty I love the colors I think that looks pretty good so now we need these big heavy rocks looking good hey hey borrow one of those pebbles later there you go that looks pretty good now that we have our first one filled all the way we just have to do the same for two and three boom oh you can use my special blaster to get the job done oh it was nothing okay here's the moment of truth let's see if our filters work oh thank you see the water filling them and the little pieces of skirt swimming around like fish I'm getting a little hungry now look we're already starting to get some water coming out whoa look at that it looks like a lot of the dirt is getting caught by these rocks and maybe some of the smaller dirt by these smaller rocks the sand looks like it's doing a lot oh where - what time speed whoa oh right let's see how the paper towel does whoa that rubber bands sure is doing its job and the last one is the coffee filter I mean it is a filter on the end of the filter whoa so this one looks like it's already coming out more clear than the other two brilliant deduction Bri now that we have all of our water filtered let's take a look let's compare them okay so we're just gonna take these guys out put them in here oh gosh be careful ooh there we go and last but not least yay but these two I don't think they did as well it worked a lot there's obviously no dirt in there but they look pretty cloudy and I keep going T through them that well now the coffee filter oh whoa that is so clear look at that I can see straight through it it's time to review the results for Ryan okay so I think the results show us that the rocks and the gravel in the sand do a really good job of getting all the dirt out but the coffee filter is the only one that can get all those little teeny tiny parts out which makes it clear like that I think it's safe to say the coffee filter definitely did the best
