Auto Kotori my car is rwv new jersey number one the reason for this build is that I wanted a really fun kind of street car I could drive with my family of a daughter she's almost three I want her to experience this as well as she grows up she loves cars Porsche is her favorite van right now so start them young [Music] this time I'm here I made a new jersey number one this time for I made a to cut this time for they not hire no problem like your little video I have one more DVD in Hawaii my name is Tom Lewis hole I'm the owner of auto promoter here in Fair Lawn New Jersey and we're all here to watch the Chi Sun builds one of his iconic Y by the kids Dave Sun is a multiple customer of ours back from our early days in Hillsdale when he approached us about you know hosting this you know I admit we all fangirled a little bit being huge fans of our WB in the chi this type of opportunity is just you know it's once-in-a-lifetime type of stuff anyone that's still running a shop today you know knows whom the Chi Sun is and respects what he does and being here in my shop it's hard to stay like composed he's an idol John Britton or Bruce McLaren or Jackie Stewart just showed up or walked through the door I mean like these are the people that you know said he rules in a world that was struggling for for cool to be done it's just the coolest thing ever [Music] my first rwv experience I've never seen a build like this especially when somebody cuts it to a fender is amazing I've seen I was cringing because parking fresh out of paint getting cut up sky to the eyeballs you gotta trust the process that kind of focus you see that everywhere he's eyeball - if you like cool bars you just kind of have to see stuff like this he's built enough of these that he kind of knows going in what he needs to do I think every car needs his own a little bit of TLC and kind of how he massages it but his work up that just seems to be let's go let's do it but not in the rush fashion [Music] I really wanted people to think about this darling to see if you see some more modern bits like the headlights the wheels but the body style is more retro and more classic just to make me think a little bit you know what kind of car is this you're watching somebody who is building a priceless piece of art mobile art that you could drive I think when I'm looking at into my garage in the next few days then that will really sink in and I didn't really I'll be able to reflect on time as an owner you should be able to pick the direction they got your car to go in we're only here go around once maybe twice if you're lucky you should be able to do what it is that you want when you dream car is so these cars out that after all the embody 935 SRS ours that's they are with Japanese ballistics oh yeah power that anyone who makes it their own cameras absolutely when I came in the fenders were all dating out I mean that's you see the parts like I don't really I didn't really start to seeing the shape of the probably spitting it together until literally when you started putting the skirts on once the search started coming on you started seeing like how the one fit the front fender in the rear fender connect you don't really get to see this guy maybe on the west coast this is like a typical thing not around here having somebody that I know having our dirty bar is pretty cool [Music] [Music] this is what our WT is all about I saw it comes to you and he builds the car that you envisioned I have you know brothers and sisters all around the world now it's really one big family you know [Music] [Music] [Applause] it's nothing crazy I didn't build it to you know be attract what they attract monster but for a streetable card that is really fund I could take the back roads some mountains up in upstate New York and just all around you know drive a little streetcar that's got some power to it really meant to be on the street it's not you know the whole car is a street car it's not a race car so it's it's designed to put together as a reliable performance plus treat set up for the whole design the whole concept of the car is a sheet for every car that he can envy to take his daughter out and have a good time with not you know I have that jarring feeling all over potholes that he's in New Jersey [Music] you don't really see convertibles especially not with like the roadster with the turn Oh cover painted and Targa's you don't you don't see them that way a target --top' is essentially it has a B pillar but it doesn't have a fixed center roofline so it can be removed the Targa roof how it wraps around is just unlike anything got the risk I have a target on the Supra and it's just nice to take off you know here and there in the summer yeah telega my favorite in that Targa I want this [Music] this is my car and this is a double V in Long Island number two we just finished up two days ago I chose the color a state green there's colors from the 918 from the Porsche I like the shock collar craziness hi hi [Music] your husband a few minor money issues but nothing down the cosine can handle tobik had to be lightened actually the 9:30 right and did to change in 96 both style doesn't differentiate again like inside the panel to like neither round like this I forget it's one thing to want something is one thing even think about it and start the process but when it finally comes to fruition I think that that moment when you know it's room it's yours and it's done it is it's almost like having a kid is you know you're almost building your own baby I think that's kind of reaction you know proud father so to speak now someone that has this much love into what he does I think of bodies a lot of why we all started doing this in the first place and the ability to host something like this is just yeah it's one of the greatest things I've I've done time passes by so quick with the build I was here since the morning and and it just felt like it went by so quick just watching the snap [Music] nice on your part is very cool I like watching I've seen a lot of YouTube videos it's a pleasure to see you in person doing this and hopefully maybe one day I'll have you come do a little target for me we'll see you've been an idol you know my entire life it's an honor to have you in my shop thank you very much for doing this for Dave he's very special to us and I know he's gonna he's gonna hold this car and the highest of regards the rest of his life anyway the congratulation I hopefully that it grow into here in New York in the New Jersey
