RV Storage, Organization, and Space Saving Ideas In My Grand Design Imagine 2500RL

today we're going to talk about seven storage space saving and organization ideas for your rv and small space living and we're gonna answer the question what do i do with this [Music] welcome back to over the hill adventures number one i am interested in more counter space i want to free up some counter space so the first thing to go is going to be the paper towel holder this is um functional but it's we're limited in here as far as the space we have a 2500 rl grand design imagine and so i think i'm going to figure out what i did is bought this adhesive paper towel holder and i think we're going to figure out how to pop it up here it comes with the 3m double-sided tape i'm thinking this is the only way it's going to be able to get get in there so let's see how this goes so i've cleaned up underneath the cabinet i figured out where i'm putting it i also put the a full paper towel roll on it to make sure that we're gonna have enough space once i get it up there because i don't think it's gonna come down after that i don't want it to come down after that so i believe the best space for it is going to be about well it just chose its spot man that steps like a magnet all right here we go and put some pressure on it okay so i pressed and held this for about 30 seconds and it is on there and it is ready to ready to be functional this was about 12 bucks at amazon and it's just a classic look real simple and um it feels like it's very firm in there like sturdy in there like the roll is not going to just roll and you're not going to come into the trailer and have it you know all all over the place so i think i'm really going to be happy with this so if anybody i'm ready to get rid of this so if anybody wants it it's yours idea number two if you are dealing with spices on the counter and this is drives you crazy um you might want to invest in a little wire spice rack these were a pack of four now i don't think i need four of them but a pack of four and i want to say i paid probably 15 bucks for these on amazon so i'm going to um i've kind of assessed the situation where i'm gonna and it also it comes with the adhesive so this is nice because we don't want to drill or put any holes if we can help it into the trailer so i'm looking at the stove and i'm trying to determine where would be the best place to put it back here has some wallpaper so that's not gonna stick very well this is the the wood uh cabinet so i'm thinking right here would be the best place i like to prop up the cutting boards right here so i want to make sure i stay clear of that and we've gone ahead and we made sure that the the cab or the glass top will not hit so that's all clear so i've kind of put some spots uh we leveled it and we have some markers right here so i think we're going to end up putting it putting it right oops right up here and i think that resolves everything i've got this clear and we should be able to prop these things right up there so let me make sure see where i want to put them i think i'll put up two two of these we've gone ahead and cleaned it also with the alcohol and it's a little hard to see my i think i'm just going to go a tad higher because it's hard to see my line i think i'm going to go right there press there and that looks nice because it's clear and you can still see the wood grain through there and grab another one like i said it's a pack of four so you could always use them in your home if you didn't have other places to put them in here and let's see how i line up that over there okay it seems too high i don't know where to put that line the bottom of that okay got it so i was second guessing myself because we put the line and then i put the alcohol on it and kind of took off the took off the um the marker that i had on there so i'm hoping this was level oh looks good all right so let's press a little bit more and then it pops right on the little hooks right there part is supposed to go right here oh there we go okay it's supposed to go on that top bar and if you wanted it a little more sturdy it comes with so many of these little guys so you could add a third one if you wanted to so now it fits the lary's size kind of just the small one and the little the little size the little size spices nice i think that works so there you go idea number three is going to resolve this problem so what we did was purchase a three chamber soap dispenser and it again will stick to the wall it comes with the 3m tape and silicone and then you just stick it on there and you press and you wait we've had this up for a couple months now and we finally filled it and used it this last trip and it's fantastic uh heads up it does require priming so once you get your your uh product in there i was actually in the shower and i was having pump pump pump this one i pumped i think about 40 times these took a little bit longer my husband's like are you okay in there the whole place was shaking but this is neat so now i don't have to have these things on the floor because these little you know cubbies are little little shelves they're just never big enough for anything so now at least they're holding your razor or holding your shaving cream but everything else is right there you got your shampoo your conditioner and your body wash this costs about 20 on amazon number four is where do i keep my gloves or my hats um even even jewelry so i've cam come up with a little bit of a storage solution for that and that's these three pocket soft-sided linen storage bags they're super lightweight they're cute and i just have them hanging on a command strip up there they are perfect for hats they're perfect for gloves beanies um i had a little box in here that i put jewelry in and you know leave it in there belts and it's perfect my husband has one on his side he's used it for the same for hats and belts cords chargers things like that we also have one by the front door so we'll go up front and we'll show you that one too here's the one by the front door which makes it really convenient because when we walk in and we need a place for again our beanies we've got doggie bags and we keep you know you can even stick the little leashes in here and this is i think a five pound command hook and it is gonna hang on you know tight so you could probably put a little more weight in these my husband pops his wallet in there and glasses sunglasses it's perfect everything's right there off your counters number five is an expandable organizing utensil tray every drawer in rvs or homes are a little different sizes so this thing's fantastic it can look like that or you can lift off the back and just pop it on there i'm doing doing this wrong and make it any size that you need so i'm going to go ahead and put this in our drawer here and fit it to size and then it's ready to go and it fits snug and it's in there and ready for the utensils you can pick these up on amazon i did buy this one at a local store these can be picked up on amazon for under 15 as well number six is going to help with this problem so there again you need space to put your dishes up there and i've been using the the dish matte the drying mat but i found this little collapsible dish rack it just pops out it's got one more to go here we go one more that side and one of the problems i have is i do actually usually put these over here but we have the slide in so i can't show you right now but i'll put the dishes on the mat and then dishes fall off you know it kind of kind of overflows so this is going to keep them keep them all contained so let's see i haven't tried it yet i'm excited about trying it out when we go camping next week but it looks like we should be able to just pop all the things in there and the bowls and it's got little slats in there you can prop your plates in you can eliminate that because it does have a tray underneath here that'll capture the water a little basin that'll capture the water and everything's contained and then when you're done and you put your dishes away which i'm not going to take right now we'll just put them here you can just collapse it and see if this works one more okay i collapsed it and then there's that's a nice storage spot right here for it and it goes away in there done dishes are done number seven and camping's not complete without spaghetti so age old problem i think what do you do with this so i got online um in my house i do have a container so i got online thinking i was going to have to find a vertical container for my spaghetti and then i ran across these guys and they they just lay and they actually was a pack of two and they'll stack on top of each other and i mean i raised four kids and i think you know my family and i just think this is the best thing ever the best invention ever so instead of my rubber band in the broken bag which always splits and then you have spaghetti everywhere let's see should just be able to lay the spaghetti right in there like i said i think this is the out of all these things i was most excited about so now let's pick up the leftovers there and look at that and then you just pop the lid on this is the coolest thing okay so now i think it should hold the lasagna as well so we're going to try out lasagna okay so there again a problem you've got a box and you probably got five or six lasagna sticks left and look at that they lay nicely in there and there you go and just close them up and they stack and i am going to put links to all this all these items on in the description and i
