- I am super excited about this video because today we are
going to show you products for RV storage and organization from Ikea. So let's head in and see what
new things they have today. We're Charity, Ben, Dakota and Trinity. We decided we didn't want to
wait for a life of adventure. So in 2017, we bought
our first RV and set off to live a life of travel in the USA. We've visited over 38
States in three years and have many more to go. Follow along, to learn all
the best places to see, RV and travel tips and much more. So you probably know that
Ikea is totally known for small living and tiny space living, which makes it perfect to
be able to shop for things for RV life and for camper life. So we have done a video before
about products from Ikea and you can check that out up here but we've heard that
they've got some new things. So we wanted to pop in and
check those out and share with you guys how you can
revolutionize your RV storage and organize with products from Ikea. (upbeat music) So one of the products that
I absolutely love from Ikea are these big blue bags. Now, the reason I love these for RV life is because
when you are packing or when you're doing anything
that requires carrying a lot of items in and out of
the RV, aka grocery shopping, I love taking these along instead because you can fit a ton of this. And it reduces the amount
of trips from your car to the inside of the RV and
all of that kind of stuff. Plus, hello beach, anything, or going down to the swimming pool at the campground, these bags come in so handy. And so I always find
that I want to pick up an extra couple of these
when I stopped by Ikea and they're super cheap. They're only like a buck. So first find for RV life from Ikea. (upbeat music) So this is a super cool new
find from Ikea, these parklas. So this is only a dollar 99 but this is actually like
a zippered storage bag. So you know how in most
RVs you've got things that you store underneath of the bed or other types of compartments. And usually those things end
up being things like blankets or winter coats or sweaters. This, you guys, is perfect for that because it is just kind
of like a collapsible bag, but it has a zipper. So this new parkla, for only a dollar 99 from Ikea is great for RV
storage and organization. (upbeat music) So one thing a lot of
people don't realize is that Ikea furniture actually will fit in a lot of RVs and campers. You do just need to do some measurements but the nice thing is,
all of the Ikea furniture when you shop here has the
measurements on the price tags. So you can come in here
with the measurements for your specific rig and
very easily figure out if one of these couches
or chairs will replace that uncomfortable factory
couch that you have in your current RV. (upbeat music) So one thing that's great for
RV storage and organization are these kallax units. Now we have talked to so
many full-time families and this is the unit that they
end up putting in their RV to store, especially kids things. So when you're downsizing from a house and you're trying to figure out
how this is all going to fit in your RV or your camper, this is a great option to be able to use. And then each kiddo can maybe
have their own individual bin. And so that is their bin for toys, books, things like that, that aren't clothing but the things they just feel
are necessary to have in life. We do something very similar
for storage in our RV where each kiddo gets one bin and then that's all that
they can bring with us is what's going to fit in that bin. So it's a great way to
also help kids down size as well as organize that
RV and camper space. (upbeat music) So here's a product for RV life from Ikea that you might
have not thought about and that is these induction cook tops. Now the nice thing about
these induction cook tops versus using the propane
stove tops is number one, you're not using your propane. Number two, these induction
stove tops will not put out heat like the propane stove does. So one thing I've done is I've switched to using my instant pot more for things like sauteing
things, or, you know cooking up ground beef with
these induction cook tops, great option for all of those
things that you want to do like scrambled eggs or bacon or pancakes because they don't put out the same amount of heat and they're small and compact. So score for Ikea for this, for RV life. (upbeat music) So no trip to Ikea when
talking about RV life would be complete without
talking about bins. Now, I love that they
have different size bins. These particular sized bins, I actually use these in
my refrigerator to be able to keep things from shifting around in our refrigerator on travel days. The larger ones we
actually find fit very well in the overhead cabinets of our RV. So other things like electric cords or whatever else just needs organizing, that you want to put in
the overhead compartments or if you have larger type cupboards, we find that these larger ones work great. So I have a ton of these types
of bins in our raid right now that we use for storage and organization but definitely score for Ikea on the bins. They have all sorts of shapes and sizes and you'll be able to find
the size you need here. (upbeat music) So this kungsfors. I think when you come to Ikea, you just have to say all the things 'cause it's so fun to say kungsfors. But these like mesh baskets,
we love for RV life. Because what we do is we'll
put different things in these but also like for the kids. So like books or stuffed
animals or anything but that way these can hang on hooks. We've got hooks everywhere. If you check out some of our
other organization videos, we'll throw some of those right up here, you'll see that hooks are a
total theme throughout our RV. But anything like this with some handles you can put all sorts of things in here and then just hang it up. Totally saving space. So this is definitely
another must have from Ikea. (upbeat music) So these are new. And whenever something's new, Ikea has these little
orange tags that say new but this is really interesting if you, I don't know if you need to
send out a distress call maybe. You've got your Alpha,
Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India,
Julia, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa,
Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey,
X-ray, Yankee, Zulu, all right here with your Morse code too. So if you, you know, you need
to send out a distress call or something like that, but
this one is actually pretty cool because this one is the
map of the United States. And we all know how we love our US map. I've seen actually our friends over at five to go have this in their rig. And they've been putting pins in it for all of the different States
that they've been visiting. So this is great for those of us who have that goal to visit
all 50 States in our RV. I'm not sure how I feel right
now about this Nick's halt because I feel like it
was a DIY gone wrong. Like somebody took a bamboo trashcan and flipped it upside
down with a light, like and called it furniture. Why would you put a light on the floor? I just don't understand
the concept behind this. All right. Djungleskog. It's not a jungle dog, it's a Djungleskog. It looks like, you remember
that movie, life of PI, that this is like psycho
tiger or something. Look at his eyes, just so weird. And then, Oh my God, this
is like surprised Panda. Does this look like
surprised Panda to you? It shouldn't be the Djungleskog, it should be some nail Panda. 'Cause that's what this
is, some nail Panda. And then we have, I don't
even know what's going on with this lion right now. When our eyes upside down triangles, that's just interesting there. And then we have psycho
monkey in the Djungleskog bin. Yeah. It's pretty nightmare stuff here, folks. I don't even feel like I can say this. Could Ikea have not come
up with a better name for children's toys than this? I just found your starter
composting toilet. So here you guys go, if
you need to, you know start them young, here's your
starter composting toilet right there you go. (upbeat music) We go this way, okay. (upbeat music) So here's another cool find. This bladdrare Or maybe it's a rare blad,
I don't know which is it, but these types of hanging organizers work so great in RV closets. And the one thing I like about this one is it's not very long. Like I've gotten a few for our RV closet and they're so long
that they actually drag on the closet floor, but
this one's kind of short. And I like that it's got some
different divider type spaces and then it's got the pockets on the side and it's only 14,99. So that's pretty inexpensive. The other thing I like
about this one is the Velcro at the top versus having like the hooks that you have to hang over
because with this Velcro, it just makes it a
little bit more versatile regarding what type of rod or whatever you want to kind
of throw it over the top of. So here's a great find for your
RV storage and organization. (upbeat music) If you've watched some of our other videos and we'll put a link up here, our recent video on products for RV life, but nano tape, my new best friend, you could definitely put
some nano tape on this and just nano tape this
to the wall in your rig. And it's got like a little drain thing. So like for toothbrushes or things there you don't want it sitting in
a cup because of moisture. (upbeat music) So here's something I love
about Ikea for RV life. And that is their rugs. We really like having
some rugs in our RV now that we have renovated it. And if you'd like to see

here and check out that series. But I still like having
a rug that I can take out and shake out or when
it gets nasty enough, just pitch it and start
over with a new rug. These are only $30. And so this is super
inexpensive to be able to just pick up a new rug and lay it down. And when it just gets to the
point where it's just not really able to be cleaned
very easily anymore with a vacuum or by shaking
it out, just get a new one. So 30 bucks, can't go wrong. (upbeat music) So these are some great products. I am all about anything for
RV life that is collapsible. It's springy, look. Anyway, these types of
things that are collapsible for RV life are great because this would work well
for just laundry or blankets. Anything that you would
need for that at all. And then the other types
of things they have like this is super handy
for same kind of use, folds up when you're not using it or even these types of laundry bins. These obviously fold down
when you're not using them too 'cause they're just
kind of a sturdy fabric. So lots of options at Ikea.
for things that will fold down. Stay, stay. This is the klunka. It's the klunka. Lots of options for
things that will fold down and stay out of the way for not in use which is essential when
you're living RV life. (upbeat music) So you'll have to let me
