we all at one point or another have played for a coach who's a jerk look get up there on them jam them and when he runs away from you then just run them down you with me don't get into a quickness game with them because you're not very quick today on the best of sound effects here he is the star of the show the incomparable bill belichick just do your job that will be pretty cool someday but nfl don't put all this together but the eight times think about it that's where the double team's coming when i was at cleveland right when i was at cleveland we had a um i heard all your stories about about zeus okay but look johnny rotten you know how big johnny rotten is right in rookie mini camp there was a guy his size hole in the bag right and zeus come out in rookie minicamp like the week after the draft zeus hit him bam knocked him about 12 yards back broke his collarbone zeus one speed which reminds me of the one in cleveland where your uncle steve everett they put a fish in his locker for three days now he had a bunch of other in there too okay he had no idea and he never took it out the guys next to him took it out because they couldn't stand up but it really didn't bother steve hey i'm going to tell you what 11 12 years with the giants we practice in pads every friday every friday 12 years with the giants every friday we were in pads it's one of these organizations where nobody ever leaves the same people here when i was here the only ones that aren't here ones that died other than the coaches i mean they run them out of here but yeah some big linebackers in that giant film aren't there the aussie carson pepper i mean other than taylor pepper ran better than all of them he's got that long stride man he can cover a lot of ground thing about taylor was though he picked his spots but he knew he kind of knew when the key plays were and you never had to worry about those you know it's third and five big possession in the fourth quarter when you really had to have it those were his best plays that's it coming hankman back inside the five throws tipped high he'll score oh lawrence the magician he's having a great year this year he's pursuing well he's tackling well he's rushing the passer well he's covering well i just think he's uh you know he's done everything he can since the start of training camp to be the best player that he can be this year and i think the evidence is on the field the way he's playing in working with bill you know one of the things that i really appreciated from bill was the opportunity that he gave me to coach the way i wanted to coach i know he was looking on this side here before you start talking about plays you better i better tell them that you're alert for the hurry up we got it jumbo i don't want you to dad up there and eat a job made him equipment manager then halfway through the season not even halfway through the season about a third of the way through the season he thought my dad was better than the fullback they had so he brought him in to play took him out of the equipment room put him onto the field to play fullback fellas you see that banner there to the left that's russ francis tell you now he's one of the best tight ends that ever played in this game i coached against him a lot and you always had the game plan for that guy i can tell you that right now russ i want to just welcome don't have to take the false steps to get into your blocking pattern have you been looking at watching green a little bit anything on his stance um he's i just see him real light a lot of time take a look at him when he's up okay when he's up squared pass yeah run that kind of just squared up he's not totally square but he's pretty close versus he's got a pretty good stagger on the pass now the interesting thing is big m does the same thing on the other side listen you're never going to come out of the game saying well we lost that game because of an incomplete pass okay think about it yeah as long as you've played you ever said geez that was an incomplete pass that really caused us right it's the it's the sacks and the turnovers tip balls you know and all that so don't be afraid of throwing an incomplete pass okay you know especially in a two-minute situation where you're gonna stop the clock and line up again okay look i can't put you in a game if you don't know consistently what to do all right i can't do it penalties first and twenties first and fifteens we do we can't play that way all right fellas you gotta cut look just relax you gotta concentrate on what the hell you're doing all right offensive football is execution and assignment football know your job carry out your assignment and get it done we we can't play like this okay that's what mr kraft's paying me to do and that's what i'm going to do i'm going to make the decisions that i think are the best for the football team t-e-a-m as in team hey focus on today don't be looking ahead just focus on today you think back to our season no matter what tough spot you've been in the end the reason why you won was because you identified the situation you heard the call and you did your job and that's what
