on behalf of frg ministry once again welcome to the prayer of the rosary today we're going to pray the joyful mysteries we pray for joy in our hearts we pray for joy in the world a world that needs joy when we pray the joyful mysteries we need to understand that joy is not the same as happiness joy is an understanding that no matter what circumstances we go through that god is going to be there with us and so we pray for this consolation in our lives for this understanding in our lives that god will never forsake us he will never abandon us and through the intercession of mary we may come closer to this consolation to this prize that we in this world are striving to reach to and that is jesus christ so we begin in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen as we begin this holy rosary we will pray for the intentions of the holy father our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this you and your intentions so as we begin the first joyful mystery we think about the mystery of the enunciation when archangel gabriel came to appear to this fourteen-year-old mary to announce that she was to be the mother of god not only the mother of jesus you cannot separate christ's divinity from his humanity she was the mother of god now this is a huge responsibility and god often asks things that are huge of us and we don't feel we have the strength or the capacity to do it but all we need to do is to say yes and then god will lead us to the next step and the next step so let's pray for to look after her cousin elizabeth she visited and there she found consolation that she gave the baby in her womb in elizabeth's womb left for joy and you can imagine the joy also that brought to the heart of mary and so we just pray that we as your people lord may reach out to others never seek to be served but always to serve our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy to the promise that jesus has made that he's going to be with us that he's going to bring us through that he's going to birth in us the promise which he has spoken he will never leave us he will never the beautiful providence of god in our lives but also we offer to god the pain in our lives the sorrow the anxiety god gives us his presence and he gives us the grace and the strength to get through life and to be triumphant in life but the thing is we cannot hold on to things of this earth but keep offering them up keep letting go before the foot of the cross and so through this um time of of knowing that god came through with his promise that he will look after every situation in the life of mary and joseph and so we pray for this grace we pray for this grace that we will seek god desperately can you imagine mary and joseph how desperate they were to find jesus and because of that desperation they found him and so lord we just pray that we may be desperate for you that in our
