hi on behalf of frg ministry i'd like to welcome you to this prayer of the rosary the rosary is such a powerful instrument which we can use to draw to the heart of jesus let us as we begin this time of prayer bring to mind the people we need to pray for let us bring to mind those who have asked us to pray for them but i also like to pray and particularly in particular for those who have asked us in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen as we pray the glorious mysteries let us start with confessing our faith i believe in god the father almighty creator of heaven and earth and in jesus christ his only son our lord who was conceived by the holy spirit born of the virgin mary suffered under pontius pilate was crucified died and was buried he descended into hell on the third day he rose again from the dead he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of god the father almighty from there he will come to judge the living and the dead i believe in the holy spirit the holy catholic church the communion of saints the forgiveness of sins the resurrection of the body and life everlasting amen and so as we begin this time of rosary of this devotion we and rose from the dead that is great news the hope we need to keep going in this life even when things get so tough jesus is the first fruit the first fruit to remind us that we too will also rise need of thy mercy saint joseph pray for us we pray now the second glorious mystery the ascension jesus ascended into heaven and it would have been devastating for the apostles because they no longer had the physical presence of jesus with them but he also with leaving left them with a beautiful promise the promise that he would not leave them orphans and so for the times we feel alone for the times we feel we don't know the plan the heart of god let's just pray this decade in surrender to god let us offer those people who have asked us for their prayer and so will pray our father who art mystery the descent of the holy spirit upon us how grateful i am for the holy spirit the holy spirit that empowers us when we feel powerless the holy spirit that gives us joy when we feel empty the holy spirit that gives us wisdom when we feel confused so let us again surrender to the holy spirit the holy spirit who quickens us who empowers us to be true disciples of jesus and i ask you also during this mystery let us pray for those who are vulnerable those who are sick those who are confused those who are lost in a life without without hope after the who art in heaven hallowed be thy union with christ that mary was united with her son who also had assumed into heaven now she also um is there as he ascended into heaven she assumed as well a position in a place in heaven and we too we too will be there we just need to keep focused we need to keep our eyes on the prize our eyes on jesus and so we pray for each and every one of us that our eyes and our hearts will be pure pure purely focused on jesus not distracted by things of this world lord jesus received through the intercession of mary all the distractions in my life our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name heaven and so at this moment let us pray also that we too might hold on we too might turn to mary who is our warrior mama who is there to fight for us during the battles we face in this life the scripture says that we are fighting not a physical war but a spiritual war and we need mary to fight with us to fight for us we pray for the world we pray for this world so in need of mary's intercession of jesus intervention of god god's place in this world that he may be once again that he may be the king of this universe the king of our hearts the king of every heart of every person in
