What’s up, guys? In this tutorial, I will show you how to fix
the “Application encountered an unrecoverable error” when trying to play Roblox on your
Windows PC. This should be quite an easy tutorial. For more information, click on the first link
in the description below. This issue is in most cases related to the
Roblox cached files and site data for Roblox stored on your browser. First, we will clear the Roblox.com site data
for your browser. For Chrome users, navigate to your browser
settings by clicking on the menu icon on the top right. Under Privacy and Security, select “Cookies
and other site data”, and from here, click on “See all site data and permissions”. This will allow you to search for Roblox and
delete the site data for the Roblox.com domain. You will be required to log back into your
account, and this will not delete any of your user data for Roblox. When this is done, you can close your browser
for now and search for %AppData% in your start menu search and hit enter. Your file explorer will open up. Navigate to: AppData > Local, and proceed
to delete the Roblox cache folder. After deleting the Roblox cached files, open
up your Windows settings. In the Apps section, select Installed Apps
and lookup Roblox. Click on the menu icon for the Roblox application
and select Uninstall. This will take a moment to uninstall the Roblox
app from your PC. After uninstalling Roblox, head to Roblox.com. Here, make sure that you’re logged back
in with your account and select to play any experience. You will be required to re-download the Roblox
installer. Select “Download and Install Roblox”,
and then run the RobloxPlayerLauncher application from your downloads folder. This will take a couple of seconds to install
the previously deleted Roblox files and launch the experience without getting the “application
encountered an unrecoverable error” on your PC. If the problem persists, then make sure to
adjust your Roblox compatibility settings. Search for Roblox in your start menu search
and select “Open File Location”. In your File Explorere, right-click the Roblox
Player shortcut to access it’s properties. Before making changes to the Roblox properties,
make sure that the game is not running on your PC. In the Compatibility section, enable the “Disable
Fullscreen Optimizations” option and apply your changes. These steps and more information will be available
in my extensive guide linked in the description below. I hope this helped you out, leave a comment
if you have any questions, and see you in the next one.
