ROAD TRIP VIDEO GAME HAUL

hey guys welcome to my gaming road trip haul which is everything i bought related to gaming when i took the road trip this summer sorry for putting it off for so long but this is gonna be fun because i just stored all the stuff i bought in a closet and i kind of forgot everything that i bought so yay but yeah i can't wait to see what i wasted my money on and there's probably going to be a lot of buyer's remorse in this video enjoy [Music] see a barnes noble bag this one came from virginia and funny enough the one in my town is closing so yay good memories the super mario manga already starting off with the weeb stuff the only other manga i have is the animal crossing one i enjoyed that one so i think i'll like this one two dudes gaming i got this from that gaming convention in south carolina first item is this monster hunter pro controller i finally gave into actually buying a pro controller i didn't want to buy a regular one because the regular one is boring i wanted one with a cool design and i've never played monster hunter so yeah i think i paid retail for this but it was better because i didn't have to pay tax since i paid with cash tax fraud yes that goes for all the items in this bag next up is this boxed copy of checkered flag for the atari jaguar i was planning on buying a jaguar 2 at the convention but all of them were 400 so i held off but i still bought the game that i can't play right now i think this is one of the first real 3d home console games so it should be interesting here we have oh god my first sign of buyer's remorse chibi robe on the gamecube i think i paid close to ebay prices for this oh god i paid close to 190. but yeah i was looking for a copy of this at the convention this was the only one that was left and if you can see the art on the cover is kind of wrinkly there's some paperwork but the original manual is not there and if we take a look at the disc which is kinda impossible to remove for gamecube games it has a decent amount of scratches i think it was still a run but yeah but yeah i wanted to try out this rare game for a long time so i kind of bought it without thinking it through should still be fun and the last item in this bag actually two items one of them was my badge for the gaming convention and the last item in the bag is alone in the dark for the 3do spoiler alert i got a 3d on this road trip and i thought it would be interesting to try one of the early 3d horror games i don't play horror games because they're too scary but hopefully this game is primitive enough so i won't get scared by it next bag there's only one item in here ooh it's a boxed original gaming watch donkey kong jr i paid 150 i think it's a good deal because when i checked the prices they were all loose and didn't come with the box so yeah but i remember i was questioning buying it because of its condition if you can see someone felt the need to carve their initials in the casing thanks a lot i still bought it mmm don't you just want to taste that styrofoam and it came with the manual too how nice i just noticed this what is this brown spot i stupidly bought this from an entertainment exchange shop in south carolina and i don't even know if it works because they didn't have any batteries so let's see i got some batteries right here if it doesn't work i'm gonna smash it mmm tic tacs no don't need batteries everything's lit up can we start a game yes we can all right that's enough it works i'll play this later see what it feels like to be a kid when video games weren't fun all right bag number i don't know ah our first plush of many it's tanooki or raccoon luigi this was from second and charles an entertainment exchange shop in south carolina what else did we buy from them oh the second and final gaming watch i wanted to buy these gaming watches because they have the box and i think the boxes are neat jesus christ i paid three hundred dollars for this why this one's a dual screen and i also don't know if it works or not oh i wrote the styrofoam i don't know if that was already broken but uh maybe i shouldn't do this in this position this one has batteries but i think they're dead so let's just take the new ones and pop them in and it works i have no idea how to play lifeboat but i'll figure it out eventually i'm just happy both of the gaming watches i probably overpaid for work what's in this bag oh this is funny this is a sealed copy of wheel fortune on the snes i got from south carolina and i only bought this because it's a very old game that's sealed yeah that's the gimmick what else is within reach oh more sealed stuff this was from a game shop in south carolina and it's a sealed copy of the star fox zero game guide i wonder why no one bought this ten dollars not bad why didn't i just buy a bunch of game guys what else is in here honestly i forgot the reason why i want to buy a super paper mario game guide for the wii i think it's because in my town we don't have a lot of game shops and every time i go into a game shop i get super excited and get in a spendy mood so i guess this is what happens oh some nintendo powers this one's mario payne and this one's some mega man game why did i buy this i don't even play mega man i think at the time i thought i was gonna try to complete my nintendo power collection and these two aren't the last nintendo powers you're gonna see and i have buyer's remorse for all the nintendo powers i bought because i thought they're rare and it turns out they're not that rare and i don't even have enough space on my shelf for them so yeah almost all the nintendo powers i bought this trip i regret and a mario party a game guide for some reason i think i got this for free because i bought a lot of stuff there and my punch card got filled out oh i remember this the guy was organizing stuff and he was like hey you want some free game console manuals and i was like yeah and this is some gamecube paperwork that was nice of the owner from the same shop we got a box copy of star fox on the snes for 55 i think that's market price or less a lot of these box games also come with a protective case so that's pretty cool why did i buy this i don't know why i bought a box copy of tetris maybe it was only 22 and again i was deprived of game stores in this town so yeah when i visit one i'm in a spendy mood and bought stuff i probably won't play and the last two items one of them is uh atari 2600 game space invaders for only 50 cents i remember that store had a clearance section and this was in it i'm pretty sure i also got q bert but i have no idea where that went but yeah also in that store's clearance section was some broken consoles for cheap i wish more game stores would do that just sell broken consoles for cheap i'm pretty sure this works though just known one in it and we have yoshi touch and go my friend told me it was a good game and yoshi is one of my favorite mario characters so i thought why not i'll try it another plush this one's cat luigi you can go with raccoon luigi and i think i have like one or two more luigi's he came from an entertainment exchange place in texas and i also got this a box ps vita game i think this was a packing game that's why it's so cheap and yeah i did get a p oh i forgot i put this game in the ps vita i have can't wait to try out this gimmicky tech demo oh my god there's garbage in this bag an empty can of sonic g feel i have no idea why i kept this recycle oh i forgot where i bought this but it's a game boy printer and camera this was a good price for both of them combined can't wait to take a lot of low res photos and print them out for my game boy something soft what is this oh yeah this towel that was given out to everyone from the mayweather versus paul fight in miami and it counts as a video game item because it was sponsored by atari for some reason oh another plush this is a super mario 64 plush that i got from a flea market in south carolina it was twenty dollars but it was free with this item this nes power pad i don't know why i'm touching this and why it's so close to my face because the main way to control this is with your feet but yeah this is going for a decent price on ebay and it came free with that 20 power pad so yeah i like this this is kind of dirty so i gotta wash this too in this target bag oh yeah we have the sonic the hedgehog watch i destroyed go watch that video and we have tanooki mario the furry brothers are complete ooh we have a hammer brother plush and oh my god another plush what did i buy oh iggy when did i buy you did i buy more plushes i hope not i'm running out of room for them okay here's another mag oh yeah it's my own copy of super mario 3d world signed by doug bowser no wait no not doug bowser uh the voice actor that plays bowser you charge like 50 bucks for a photo in an autograph was it worth it you decide that was from that south carolina gaming convention and also from there is chibi robo park patrol another rare chibi-robo game this one's only 50 at least i don't know why i paid this amount since yeah there's not even a manual and i don't even know if i like this game can you feel the buyer's remorse also from the gaming convention is this snes game i think it's pronounced cloak but yeah i heard some stuff about this game online and it seemed pretty fun so i want to try it decent price for a boxed copy but i think that's because someone cut a hole in the back of the box for some reason oh there's another bag above me let's see this is a box copy of barbie and i only bought it just because i thought it would be funny and the box is immaculate how could you not buy it and we have a box copy of dr mario 20 decent price especially for a mario game a box copy of nes golf since it's a sports game it was pretty cheap oh what's this oh hogan's alley i recently got a crt and since the nes light gun only works with crts i can finally play what i've been deprived of like gun games oh here's my copy of keyboard i got on clearance i have no idea how i got to that bag and yeah most of these were from game stores in south carolina another light gun game funny enough i forgot i bought this game and at the thrift store today i saw another copy of this going for 25 overpriced so yeah i'm glad that copy wasn't reasonably priced otherwise i would have bought that and had two copies of this game okay i'm pretty sure this is the last plush and as i mentioned before it's luigi but this one has the poltergeist or vacuum from luigi's mansion this plush i also regret buying because later in the road trip i saw there was a version of this with luigi screaming and this is the boring version ow this bag is hurting me what's in here well my food is ready be right back gotta stop the oven all right had a nice dinner let's continue now where are we nes max for the nes ten dollars pretty good also from the same place to complement the max the nes advantage they said it was only 15 because apparently something's wrong with it but the sticky note they put on it makes no sense i have no idea someone decrypt that yes i hope it's just a mistake and there's nothing wrong with this ooh a lot of nes from that south carolina entertainment exchange we have the gray nes zapper which i think was discontinued and replaced with an orange one because it kind of looks like a real gun now i have both colors and i'm ready to take on anything okay last thing from that shop is a ps3 game i got this because i got a playstation 3d tv and i wanted to try a 3d game with it oh wait oh i forgot about these two because they're so small they were selling official ds styluses for cheap so cheap that they made you buy two and these are the ones for the original 3ds i lost my original 3ds alice so it's good to have this one and a backup oh a singular item in this bag and this was from a game shop in pennsylvania a virtual boy game in box tell roboxer for a decent price i finally have a virtual boy game that's not mario tennis yes oh my god and another bag of trash these were from a japanese supermarket in virginia and these are mario candies and i ate most of them i don't know why i kept these i'm probably gonna throw away the wrappers and all that but the mario candy i didn't eat is this apparently you're supposed to make your own candy and i didn't want to do it so yeah i just kept it like this i don't know if i'm gonna keep it or throw it away oh can you tell how healthy my spending habits are also from a pennsylvania game store this is a nintendo catalog from 2002 i paid 10 dollars for it when back in the day it was free so yeah what a rip-off and i remember getting this to complement the chibi-robo game it's the chibi-robo nintendo power issue yeah this game is going to be a big hit and not a failure and it turns out to be rare and you overpay 200 for it this is just nintendo powers oh and this one's falling apart again i thought nintendo powers were rare in fact they're not that rare and i wanted to complete the entire collection which is probably impossible but yeah this was me giving myself false hope and buyer's remorse currently all right from virginia uh boxed copy of donkey kong on the atari 2600 and spoiler alert yes i got the console to play this on i paid 20 for this oh my god oh and from texas the only nintendo powers i'm proud of this is the second issue of nintendo power can you tell by that price and to complement that we have the first issue you can really tell by that price but actually i think that's a decent price i actually already read through the whole thing when i was staying in a hotel now i'm gonna try to keep this thing pristine and the final bag is when i went to nintendo new york for the zelda whatever that remake game was launch really i'm not redoing that line what do they want as i was saying that zelda skyward sword launch let's see what we got while i was there this free poster of the game the special edition joy con they're not in the box hopefully they're in here yes they are i didn't even bother putting them back in the box cool another free thing some phone decals and the amiibo that i bonded to the hype i thought it was going to be rare so i bought it despite not liking zelda or wanting to play skyward sword yeah i'm probably just gonna trade this in or something yeah and of course no game but this reusable bag that i'll use for grocery shopping and speaking of bags that's the last bag let's move on to the stuff that couldn't fit in a bag or i didn't bother putting in a bag also from that south carolina gaming convention we have these three classic nintendo character amiibos so the box it was actually a really good deal it's like 20 yeah i'm not going to open this to preserve its value also in the box and also from south carolina is this boxed atari 2600 junior it's actually my first atari 2600 can you believe it it was 100 bucks and it's complete and everything inside looks basically brand new oh i'm happy about that even though i'm probably only gonna play atari games for like two minutes to become bored south carolina game store what is new we have this almost complete in box snes super scope the one thing missing was this eye piece which i don't mind it was a pretty good deal for fifty dollars i kind of got ripped off cause it was three dollars in 2007 oh inflation but yeah this is one of the other items i'm very excited to use since i had yoshi safari for the longest time and now i can finally play that since i also have a crt tv can you tell how excited i am to use these things especially since i kept them stuffed in a closet for several months and the last thing from the south carolina gaming convention also my favorite is this brand new inbox sealed game com i talked them down to a hundred but this original price tag says it was thirty dollars at one point so yeah ripoff or good value you decide i think it's a good value and i think this is gonna be the coolest thing in my game collection i was looking through the rest of the nintendo powers i bought and i paid ten dollars for this copy i'm gonna trade that in oh i already spoiled this but here's the last video game console i bought in virginia it's a panasonic 3do and i've already tested this and it works so hopefully it still works after that bumpy car ride and at the same time i bought a game to test it with and i just chose the cheapest thing they had which was this actually funny story when i was testing this with this i tried to start a new game but this thing would not let me save because its hard drive was already full with saved games so yeah this failed game console was loved by someone a lot i want to play some 3do games but i also don't want to delete any saves on this oh it's someone else's memories but i have to well maybe i'll get another 3dl and the controller that came with the 3deo is this crappy third party one which was why i got a good deal on it because of this and because it was sitting in the store for so long no one wanted it so yeah i got a good deal on the 3do at least and i'm gonna end it with all the stuff i bought from alex c d when i was staying with him in virginia actually i mixed in some items i bought from a game store in the same city as him and i forgot which is which so yeah i know this is from him super mario sunshine players guide with the postcards some other game guides i forgot from him or from that game store more nintendo power some from him some from that game store oh if i can go back in time i would not buy nintendo power oh exclusive convention posters from him some heavy ass nes and snes books from him yeah i need a new bookshelf i also bought these nes shoes from him we're almost the same size he gave me a really good deal on all of these and finally to end it off i've already shown this thing off a lot that i got from him is this amiibo stand let's see if it still works damn i forgot how to turn on the screen oh there we go there we go most expensive item in here i'm gonna try to display it properly when i have the time shut up shut up i also got this key off of amazon so hopefully i can change out the amiibo with my own and turn off the volume and that's pretty much it this was my road trip gaming haul how much did i spend on all this well i never did the math but i would have to say it's in the thousands definitely and some of these items value has probably dropped due to being crushed by other items throughout the filming of this video and you can hate on me for that but i just filmed almost the entirety of this video while lying down that's the american dream and so with that thank you
