room with two double size beds of course sir your wish is my command sir I was just a customer but hot damn I had a hotel room booked for two nights from a five-star well-known hotel chain that rhymes with bola de fin room was smallest and cheapest with two double beds probably even located below the parking garage that was about only room available so it would have to do about a month later I arrived with my buddy to basically drop our stuff in the room so we can take off right away while the Sun is still up in the lobby there is about 200 person group shouting all at once to the two ladies Manning the desk after making plans for a few minutes to store our stuff elsewhere the desk attendant notices us as we clearly were not part of a huge group so she waves us over past the large group and starts to handle our check-in she politely asks us to fill the traveler forms in while she's looking up my reservation I thank her and try to make pleasant conversation about this and that complementing the uniforms and the hotel trying to improve the sour atmosphere the angry mob has been generating all around while we are filling the forms angry man next to us who was apparently the leader of the lobby mob keeps shouting loud I demand that you arrangers extra room with two double size beds we had late addition to our truffle and they need a room with two double size beds right freaking now apparently the arguing has been taking a place for quite a while already she tries to get a word but gets interrupted I don't care if your stupid hotel is full it's your job to give us a place to sleep stupid woman yeah owes another room and double size beds don't try anything else I'm not interested of anything else you idiot I wonder how you can keep your job if you can't even arrange a room for us every time the main desk attendant tries to talk to the angry man he rudely interrupts her with more and more shouting only thing I can do is to keep smiling at the ladies sympathetically we don't have double size beds available but we do have I don't want to hear it just do your job and press the buttons to make it happen you must be mentally slow don't you two double beds or is that too difficult for you the clerk share a tired look with each other but suddenly both have this lamp lighting above their heads they converse for a moment using their native language while pointing to their screens and then proceeded to tell me our apology sir but unfortunately we don't have your room with two double beds available for you which you had booked for as you can see we are a bit full today while she is gesturing to the mob in the lobby my heart sinks a bit until she continues so because we are fully booked the only room we can offer to you is the executive suite on the 24th floor obviously for no extra cost unfortunately it doesn't have to double sized beds she takes I contact with the angry man and continues but it has four king-sized beds each in their own on Suites angry man drops dead silent and he's just staring hours his mouth just moves like the mouth of a fish who is stranded on dry land while looking at me again she continues I hope you accept the free room upgrade with our most sincere apologies in behalf of the Haute management and of course all the room service is free including the refreshments available in the suite kitchen and sweet bar areas and all hotel VIP facilities are in your disposal 24/7 please do enjoy your stay and let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable she dings a small Bell and piccolo takes our bags while gesturing towards the fancy separate elevator at the side I'm so shocked that I can only mutter a bit of thanks and follow the piccolo while we are making our way towards the elevator the main desk is explaining to the angry man sir I'm happy to inform you that we were able to make arrangements to have a single room with two double size beds available to accommodate your extra guests that will be a hundred and ninety-nine euros add it to your bill man snaps out of his trance likes day and shouting resumes what the I don't want some single room with double size beds I want free executive suite too why do these guys get the suite and I get some bad single room this is unacceptable why did you give my better room to those losers instead of me she now has a much more commanding tone and she responds unfortunately sir how were free executive suite is not available is booked now I try to offer you a king-sized but you were having none of it so will you take the single room or not I can't tell accurately what we said next but I'm quite sure it is lots of cursing and throwing more insults from the man using the man's native language all I have is this smug grin well the bellhop closes the elevator doors taking us up maybe half an hour later when we head out to check the city the lobby has been cleared we go to the desk to thank the two attendants and give them both a good tip now we easily save with the free room service over the expensive hotel unfortunately our schedule doesn't allow us to enjoy the free hotel VIP services much but the ladies definitely earn a little bit of extra it was a great experience for us and I still remember this clearly after a long time that front desk girl she was truly maliciously compliant with the angry man to add the executive suite was absolutely fantastic only downside was that I would have needed to bring my own helicopter to use the helipad on the roof to fully enjoy the privileges included to the room Paul so there was three balls in my toilet a regular one a bidet to wash my butt after using the first one and the third one was something that I still don't know why it was for or how to use it I was just standing there my butt squeaky clean staring at the third bowl and thinking is this some sort of rich joke that I'm too peasant to understand I'm amazed at how a 200-person group can fit in a lobby how many people is that's a lot of people boss band phones he didn't realize that meant I needed him to do everything so I work in a family-run pet shop and it's just the owners husband and wife late 50s and me a female 22 my boss is an explosive man and when he's very stressed he loses his head randomly over small stuff so anyway he walked in one morning at 9:00 a.m. yelling that's it enough phones now I'm banning it leave it in your van don't worry about the work Facebook page I'll do it I helped run the Facebook page for the business too I said okay no problem and promptly went and put it in my van I didn't think it was going to last long I assumed a few days 9:20 a.m. I'm feeding all the birds hamsters rabbits guinea pigs etc and we give them fresh fruit and vege I had bought some fruit bought myself and he had some stuff as well some of this fruit and vege I hadn't fed the animals before some / lots of the animals have specific diet and things that they can't eat so whenever we have a new food i google and check which animals can eat it I asked my boss can all the animals eat asparagus can they eat cherries his replies were probably or I don't know so I asked if he would look it up can Kakori Keys eat asparagus can golden finches asparagus can hamsters asparagus can bujji's asparagus can Canaries eat asparagus and so on and so on and so on through the 50 or so different types and breeds of animals in the shop then the same with cherries we sort of got this done but it wasted his time and mine when I could have done it all really fast myself like I usually do it's quarter to 10:00 a.m. and new stock had arrived that he'd bought in a job lot on eBay so no prices oh can you look these up and see what they are selling for we do this all the time of course can I use your phone 946 am right that's it just go and get your own phone it lasted 46 minutes well that guy sounds pleasant to work with you want to cut off my paycheck let me look into my expenses I've been working with my horrible boss for a year now and I finally got another job offer yay for me so I submitted my resignation letter well she's not so happy about it in negotiating my last day I would like to put 30th of June as a last day but she insisted to make it on the 28th she said cuz it's a Friday well I know she's petty enough to save money for the company since I didn't complete the full month this month I will get a pay cut around $400 prorated that's a lot of money for me that also means my prorated and benefits are reduced I started panicking for my salary this month so I went through all my receipts for the past three months now whenever I go for trips or business meetings if it's nothing much I won't go through the hassle of claiming it I checked through my husband's receipts as well and he has a few expenses I can claim undisposed benefits any guess what it amounted to up to $1,000 when she saw the claim she said that she would like to go through everything first and I told her to take her time well guess who gets extra money this month yes me and to think the boss could have probably saved all of that money if they did just added one more day to set yet you could finish the hen teacher asks me to spit out gum so I have a removable plate in my mouth a bit like a retainer I can take it in and out and I chewed the top of it sometimes we were in an assembly in my skull and if they notice you are chewing gum they will make you get up and spit it into a tissue in their hand and they will dispose of it you see I didn't have any and I was just biting on my removable play in my mouth they gestured to me to spit it out I quietly said it was my removable play but they laughed and threatened me with detention I know it's disgusting but this man really didn't understand so I stood up took out my removable plate and put it in the tissue in his hand his face was just pure shock now I didn't really know what would happen here he just gave it back to me and told me to sit down he left the assembly after that I really hope this was an assembly like full of everyone and everyone had to watch as this person just got embarrassed I can't call it a sick okay I worked in to Chipotle some time ago for anyone who knows Chipotle is really strict about contamination and they are also perpetually understaffed there was a period of time when my health deteriorated quite a bit due to some other issues so I got sick often it was also called in flu season and finals for students finishing their first semester so I can understand how hell is she can be when nobody can come to work and we have an issue with some people calling in sick when they were not I had an early morning shift and tried to call in early enough so that management could work around me not being there but early mornings usually mean you would be coming in the same time as the managers do so nobody was there to pick up I call a bit closer to the start of my shift and tell the shift manager that I am sick and could not make it to work it's like 7 or 8 a.m. at this point and he asks me do you have a doctor's no there is no doctors now I had just woken up and obviously had not gone to the doctor but I definitely had a really bad cold not to mention nobody's going to the doctor for a cold shift manager asks me my symptoms I figure telling him cold / flu symptoms is pretty self-explanatory coughing headache runny nose etc and possibly a fever he asks my temperature I tell him I haven't even checked it yet as I had just woken up before I understand asking someone if they have a fever since it tells you if you're contagious but I also just didn't want to be coughing in people's food all the time shift manager didn't believe me and tells me to either show up to work or face being written up I shrug and just tell him oh okay and head over there before entering the kitchen area Chipotle workers must do a wellness check where your manager asks if you have been sick in the last few days had any signs of foodborne illness etc and then you sign a paper before being allowed in I go to do this and the shift manager passes me the handbook it's open to the page about sick employees look at the symptoms and if you have any of these you can't come in he tells me I take a look and of course they are there before I can even go back to tell him the general manager shows up to start his shift and says good morning o P oh wow you look horrible why are you here you can't be here you can get everyone sick it's part of our policy to not show up to work sick we've had people reprimanded for doing so I got sent back home and didn't get in trouble as I did manage to tell the general manager that I was told to come in regardless of calling in sick I ended up quitting yeah I was kind of expecting the end of that because I definitely wouldn't want to work there if they were trying to force me to come in hey everyone I hope you all
