Revisiting Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2023..

all right welcome back guys so before the new year starts I wanted to come back to this game and just revisit and have a little bit of fun within the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 with no ties whatsoever no obligations just kind of enjoy the game for what it is we kind of did this with Demon Souls last week and I have to say I I had an absolute blast and this might be like a little mini series that we do going forward into the next year maybe for some certain games maybe you guys can give me some suggestions of some of the best games we've played throughout the many years here on the channel and we'll do some sort of like one-offs and stuff like that and just explore and kind of relive the moment for that one particular episode and of course what better game than Red Dead Redemption 2 today I just wanted to jump on this game I don't know when I'll release the video possibly the first video of 2023 I'm thinking I don't know but uh thank you for joining me let me know down below what is your alltime favorite game or better yet what game should we include on this revisit series that we've got going on I hope you enjoy and let's do this what an absolute beauty of a video game this is actually my first time playing it on a 4090 at maxed out settings on quality mode which you just can't go any higher than this but welcome to the beautiful town of roads in my opinion one of the prettiest areas in the game aesthetically the way the red surface the dirt if you will just kind of contrasts against everything else has always been uh a sight to behold so today I think what we're going to do I do have one thing in mind and that is to hopefully be able to tame one specific horse that I had absolutely no idea about it is an Arabian horse if you guys know our white Arabian died off with our beloved pal Arthur Morgan so what we're going to do is we're going to first acquire a first horse we're going to head over to Blackwater looking for my friend Gavin Gavin where the hell are you H I'm debating helping that guy but maybe on the next adventure we're going to head over to Blackwater and we're going to purchase a very specific araban nice looking horse you got there how about we see how fast it is really catfish oh really sure why not ready let's go oh you're lucky I don't have my white Arabian okay starting off the game or should I say our daily adventure with a race ah this would have been perfect if we had if we had our aravan this would have been perfect but I guess we'll stick to our guns here I have a feeling this is going to be a setup it seems a little bit too easy she's already cheating I had to kick you off your horse oh this has got to be a setup 100% this has got to be a setup so as I was saying on our main playthrough we had our white Arabian who fell down and uh eventually died with our beloved pal Arthur Morgan and so we don't really have a white Arabian at the moment we don't really have a special horse of any sort and so I wanted to start off this this video with a special horse and that's what we're going to do as soon as we beat this lady something tells me I've seen this before I think this is a setup yeah I'm surprised I won honestly I feel like I've done this before darn it damn horse acting up up on me of all the times take care of [Music] yourself oh my god [Music] oh oh yeah it's been a minute everything's going to be just fine Rachel we did not die it was nothing but a nightmare everything is just fine anyways we're back here near Blackwater if I'm not mistaken and this is actually where we wanted to be so the way we get this Arabian which by the way again i' I never had any idea that this thing even existed this was probably discovered a little bit after I stopped playing the game after we did so many quests or side quests so many hunting legendary animals and whatnot it's been over 2 years probably 3 years or so it's been so long that I just I did not know about this horse and it is an Arabian and I did not know that you can actually acquire this horse over here at the stable within black water back again I see so once you're in Black Water you can go to the buy horses and then you've got three different horses you got the Missouri Fox Trotter you've got the turlan or turlan turlan turlan tur Turman I think it's Turman I'm not sure and then you've got this Arabian and it's not just any Arabian it is a superior Arabian Rose gray Bay and it's a male so it can reproduce I'm just kidding that that would be some crazy [ __ ] if we can have our horses reproduce like if we had two breeds one male one female and then have them kind of and then you can sell them that that would why didn't they do that I have no idea so what do we call him Ros would that go would that be acceptable Ros Ros or maybe should we add a GH Ros yeah okay there it is profanity check let's just go ahead and we'll name him that it's well worth the price that is one beautiful horse Jesus I just bought this horse by the way for over $1,000 I haven't even taken it out of the lot and it's already worth half the price boys they've been scamming us since the late 1800s you see any of the chickens yet every morning I wake up to those damn Birds clucking away I think I'm lagging this one got some pretty decent upgrades now we're going to go to the appearance got a main here Prett you this is its natural main we can do some dreadlocks the little Mohawk as well I think I'm going to keep it natural to be honest that is our brand new horse guys I think I am in love this thing is absolutely beautiful I can't believe I never knew about this horse it's crazy all right so tell you what now that we're riding in style come on fell going to Pat it a little a little bit just so it kind of gets a little comfortable with me you know CU at the end of the day we are now Pals the best of Pals I really do admire how once you start playing with John it's been x amount of years you start seeing different buildings and you know real estate being built constructed that were not here prior to when you were playing as Arthur Morgan super so completely destroyed after the events of the story wow I don't think we've ever Revisited this area or at least I don't remember maybe perhaps that's why I never knew anything about this Arabian horse but this place has been completely destroyed I've also got no idea where this horse could be clearly is around this area but now the next part of the adventure is finding out where that really is so I'm going to try my best to be as quiet as possible it's got to be somewhere around here all right let's go up a little bit more you know what I think head up it's the perfect time to bring out the binoculars I don't think I've ever used these hello de Mr Arabian horse that's not how you call a horse is it okay I don't want to get too excited but I'm at the point where I'm a firm believer that I think we've come across our main objective there it is we're going to study this beautiful horse and now we're going to track it here we go I'm going to put away the binoculars and where's my lasso just in case I don't think we need this whoa whoa whoa whoo there now we're buddies ah you successfully broken the horse but it will still have some wild Tendencies continue to bond with it to make it more obedient okay so this thing is absolutely beautiful what in the world oh my God guys we are the proud owners of two Arabian horses currently we just went from Zero to Hero in a matter of minutes some people may not be fans of it but holy smokes that is insane it's so different okay I like that no no no no no no no no no no no no no oh none of that absolutely not let's go let's go h no absolutely not both of you misbehaving escaped and now I'm I'm buggered what escaped a Priceless ran geniki tiger from the slopes of the Hindu Heights a fantastic elusive zebra from The Plains of Ango Bongo by the shores of the Limpopo and a magnificent lion from the grasslands of Tang geniki ah I see your problem they're pretty hard to come by around here listen friend help a fellow out would you I'm beyond desperate if you see any of them will you bring them back here if I see a tiger or a lion or a zebra just roaming around exactly if well I believe the zebra up near LED s distinctive creature that he is I'll make it worth your while all right Madam it's bloody Margaret not Madam Margaret Mistress of [ __ ] danger yeah I don't think I've done this before I feel like at this point we've basically tamed and purchased the right horses just based off of what we're going to be doing in this Mission it seems chasing wild animals really okay the missing zebra was spotted in this area so basically the same way we would acquire the legendary animals maybe we got to sniff it out could it be there oh my God it's right [Music] there no way a [ __ ] zebra what in the [Music] world it's a mule it's a mule [Music] look here hey I play these games I just tend to forget the things I've done where I've been what I've accomplished and what I failed I'm probably making no sense right now but that's okay and this horse I am so happy with this horse it's got stamina for days I mean I keep spanking the crap out of this my my thumb's about to fall off and this thing still got 50% stamina it is incredible what's going on here might need a hand oh he weren't wrong that Tiger's missing I sent our best lion out to find him and now he's missing too it is a right old predicament you lion from timbuk too weren't he from Valentine I think he might be more of a kind of dog than a lion but in a certain light up fell could never tell of course which way did he go into them shrubs over there okay why don't you hop on that wagon and uh I'll see if I can find his track okay that first set of shrubs that's where I lost sight of him I got it all right so we're going to track it down here we go I got the trail these are all right I shouldn't kill this thing right you paint this dog there's some pigment here yeah this is paint dude what sort of [ __ ] is this to me what's this this is massive [ __ ] dude it's right over you find somewhere to hide oh well behind that log then okay THS up stay down she won't be too far away come quick I went out to find a tiger cougar you mean and I end up losing a lion ah dog ain't having any luck if that's what you're dealing with you didn't have any luck to begin with cougars and dogs hey it ain't what you got in this life it's what you make of it that's very wise of you especially when you're lacking zebras and and tigers hey keep your head down it's coming look I really don't think she was the dog like I said they was friends shut it bro they got a cougar and they painted it with strengths wow oh I guess she's real hungry she's feral I'm locking her in oh my God okay easy does it close the doors sorry girl oh my goodness let's go we got her okay drive will you and I'll keep an eye on her sure thing de dear God let's get her back to Mr Margaret she's still eating I would have thought since they was close and all why creatures turn on each other seemingly friend one minute then or the next this just comes easy I mean I should know I've run with a few of them myself is that WRA no not really hey uh John nice to meet you sir Miss Nash how you end up in this R I guess it's always been my inclination you know wild beasts and the like I met Mr Margaret we got to talk in these wagons aren't so good off the road you can probably tell in this field he's the Ace of B he's a guard all right it's my modest hope one day to be the world's second bravest woman animal Wrangler I'd say you got that sewn up and then s you think I hope so top five at least it depends on how many more Fellers throw their hat in the ring maybe one of these days the best female for the job be a oh I don't know if that'll ever happen wow the way we just ran that dude over we lost the main road around here when the was up be careful you might get wrecked too okay you know the only thing to do in dust storm was wait it out Mr Margaret's a lot of things but best female Navigator ain't one of them I imagine you're right about that we was tearing around here looking for any kind of landmark when over we go whole Caravan toppled found each other and some shelter but when the wind died down the animals was gone and now the back some of them at least thanks to you oh you managed it yourself I just help you along do you ever want to get in the sidow business I'm sure there'd be a place for a fellow like you I'll leave the professional theatrics to better women than me there it is the Caravan aha I see you found each other sure did Mr Margaret jolly good jolly good you know taring and Feathering a donkey is one thing I beg your pardon it's grease paint makeup but you go playing dress up dolls with a wild animal you better be a whole lot more careful strappy
