[Music] me [Music] cast me [Music] away [Music] salvation [Music] me [Music] jesus christ we approach your throne we thank you lord is there a bomb in gilead is there a bomb in jamaica yes it is that rich blood that flows from calvary's fountain that had the power to save us and still has poor to save those that have not known you as lord and as savior we thank you heavenly father for jesus christ we thank you lord for that rich blood we thank you for this whoring crusade lord that we are able to call sinners that have not yet repented to thee and especially the men who are so wise lord in our own doing going making up castles and making up buildings lord that lead nowhere except to destruction unto death we have gone on the road to the gambling house to the brothels to the bars to the race are sharp and so quickly and so early to the grave we have not sought the blueprint we have not sought to read the map that you have created lord for our eternal salvation we have not sought to know your holy words lord but thank you jesus for that plan of salvation and for your holy spirit that brought us to us lord and has made us what we are today and so in this crusade we are inviting a lord jesus to talk upon the hearts of unbelievers unregenerated men and women but especially the men lord that are so scarce in this time in the church of god and in the building of your kingdom we are asking lord for you to touch them and we have gotten the opportunity lord more than any other some of the people never even see the preacher and i hear the preacher they only hear say a preacher say 40 days and yet nineveh shall be destroyed and they have repented and they have turned and you in your mercy and in your goodness and in your kindness repented and turned away from that destruction that you had proposed for them and my god we hear it every day and these zoom platforms on the televisions and the facebooks in the temple at 65 waltham park road and in other temples throughout this nation and yet we turn to our own ways and doing our own thing and will not submit ourselves to thee and that's all important question which no man can answer and we won't give it to thee to answer it for us what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul my god if we come to that knowledge and to that realization we would bow before thee we would turn we are asking lord that you breathe upon this nation and in this time of pandemic lord when things go upside down is there a lesson that you are teaching us and we have not yet learned but you said unto israel when they was in captivity you said to your prophet be lost is for you shall live in them plant vineyard for you shall eat of them we know not all lung will be in this pandemic but so noise toward god help us to learn the lessons quick help us to turn help us to abide by the laws of the land and to keep our social distance and to be obedient lord not only to the laws but obedient to thee for you have no other voice here on earth to speak by the laws of men and you said we should be obedient for when you obey the kings and the queens and the governors and the prime minister we are being you almighty god breathe on us breathe on the shot he knew can't be hearing this temple physically breathe on those who are weary and worn out spiritually my god strengthened them those who are wounded lord god physically and spiritually touch them build them up anoint them for the journey it might be great lord it might be 40 days away and 40 nights away but my god you is able to supply this strength may your blood reach down lord jesus may it reach down to the unrepented man at this moment through these crusades breathe on us dear lord and anoint us and give us the victory for we ask these and other morning church the scripture reading is taken from saint matthew 16 reading from verses verse 13 to 20. we will read alternate verse when jesus came into the coast of caesarea philippi he asked his disciples saying whom do men say that i the son of man am and they said some say that thou art john the baptist some elias and others jeremiah or one of the prophets he saith unto them but whom say thee thy that i am ye that i am and simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon by jonah for fresh and blood for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven and i say also unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it and i will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven twentieth and last then charge he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was jesus the christ air endeth a portion of god's holy word we honor it by saying glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy spouse as it wasn't now whenever shall be word without end amen good morning church what a friend you have in jesus right this morning i want to encourage someone to say friends that if you feel alone if you feel discouraged if you feel like you have no one to talk to just turn your eyes to god because he is a friend he did say he is a friend of ours right so we should always be encouraged that we have a friend in christ [Music] hallelujah what a friend we have in jesus [Music] all our sins and grace [Music] what a friend we have in jesus [Music] all our sins and grace [Music] it is to carry everything to god in prayer some things we have not because we [Music] you should never be discarded [Music] when you have a friend who cares [Music] is [Music] what [Music] [Music] jesus [Music] [Music] everything good morning brothers and sisters i'm here to give a testimony about how god came through for me during a crisis so this testimony is about the events that took place during my medical school journey i started medic medical school in 2010 for the application process there are documents that each applicant would have to produce to prove his or her ability to pay the tuition which was millions of dollars at the time my reality was that i had no physical source of such funds but my faith was at least a mustard seed my mother being the good advisor she was she is told me to put on the university's official document these three words god will provide brothers and sisters can you imagine putting on an official university document as your proof as your source of paying your fees that god will provide i did it i sent in my application and i was accepted but the road was a challenging one i faced financial embarrassment over and over again the tuition kept piling up i received some funds but it was never enough to cover the cost i felt as if everywhere i looked doors were closing in my face there were times that i doubted i questioned god and people around me questioned my faith in god they even publicly declare that you know this girl is not going to finish medical school because she cannot find the money to pay her fees there is one point i received a email from the university telling me that i was no longer registered for my course and that i should not show up for my exam that semester because i wouldn't be allowed to do it but guess who showed up anyway so i went to my exams and i was able to do it looking back at it i realized that even though i was going through such a financial crisis at the time and it lasted for quite a while god did not allow me to drop out he did not allow me to have to take a break work some money and come back i progressed naturally year after year so i reached halfway through my fourth year despite everything that was going on and it was at this time that god opened that door that was shots all along i received a scholarship that paid my previous outstanding fees for all the years behind my current fees and when i reached final year also paid my tuition then wow god is awesome right he had a plan all along even though it seemed as if he was too late and lazarus was dead god showed up and he rose the dead sometimes god alone allows us to go through these crises to strengthen our faith in him and to to strengthen our character i want to encourage everyone that no matter what discouragement you face even if it seems impossible god is faithful he that began our good work within you will see it to completion so don't lose hope in jesus christ thank you amen praise god come on put your hands together for the lord jehovah jireh our provider it's certainly a great honor for us to be gathered here this morning for cruising sunday and as a church we are usually blessed with powerful servants of god who come through to minister the undiluted word of god after our praise and worship team we are going to have our powerful speaker this morning reverend lornell lewin reverend lorna lewin heals from the community of tweedside in clarendon he gave his life to christ at a very tender age of nine and was baptized at the west beach new testament church reverend lewin has been actively involved in almost every area of his local church he received the baptism of the holy spirit on his 15th birthday and started preaching at the age of 16. in his over 10 years of preaching he has gained the nickname small acts his drive towards ministry is inspired by saint john chapter 9 and verse 4 which says i must work the work of he who sends me while it is the for the night come when no man can work reverend lewin is a graduate of the better bible college of the caribbean jamaica where he pursued a bachelor's degree in theology and a minor in guidance and counseling at bethel bible college he served twice on the student council board he is a former pastor of the serge ston new testament church of god on the bronx bronxton district of churches in sindhang however he is currently the pastor of the book whole and the desire new testament churches in clarendon reverend lewin serves in the jamaica constellatory force as voluntary chaplin he enjoys watching movies going out and socializing with friends reverend loin is married to the love of his wife life stacia gay who is a devoted christian and a great support to his ministry and he is expecting our baby very soon can we put our hands together welcome reverend louis and right after the praise and worship we are going to stand as we welcome our speaker for today reverend lonnie and louie over to you prison can we stand to our feet as we go into a time of worship does anybody believe that god deserves the highest praise can we lift our hands and show hallelujah that even if we may not be in the mood right now but god is still sitting on the throne can we show hallelujah so we declare this morning that we raise our hallelujah in the middle of our enemies no matter a praise in this house he's great in all his ways let's lift our hands and acknowledge the greatness of jesus alleluia the songwriter says when i think of the goodness of jesus what he has done for me my soul cries out hallelujah praise the lord thank god for saving me praise the lord with one shout of hallelujah you can just go ahead and take your seats in the presence of the lord hallelujah indeed god is worthy to be praised and we lift him up in adoration glory to the name of jesus i must use this privilege to greet the leadership of this church bishop dr stevenson samuels and mrs samuels to his assistant reverend michael craig and mrs craig very good friend of mine i greet you well in the mighty name of jesus it's good to be worshiping with god's people today in another crusade sunday amen come on people god is doing mighty things in his kingdom hallelujah and we give god thanks for his many blessings praise the lord i greet you on behalf of my wife who is not able to be here this morning greetings as well from the two churches i am now pastoring the bog hole and the desire new testament churches in clarendon they greet you well amen praise the lord we go right into the word at this time i invite you to turn with me to the book of saint mark chapter 1 and we read a few verses verse 40 to verse 45 for the sake of time permit me to begin while you are still searching for those of you who are searching and there came a leper to him beseeching him and kneeling down to him and saying unto him if thou wilt thou canst make me clean and jesus moved with compassion put forth his hand and touched him and said unto him i will be thou clean and as soon as he had spoken immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was cleansed and straightly charged him and forward sent him away and said unto him see thou say nothing to any man but go thy way and show thyself to the priest and offer for thy cleansing those things which moses commanded for a testimony unto them verse 45 but he went out and began to publish it much and to blaze abroad the matter in so much that jesus could no more openly enter into the city but was without in desert places and they came to him from every quarter the word of the lord father i commit myself to you even now i yield my flesh to that of your spirit lord let your words go forth today with power and clarity lord i act today as your word goes forth your name will be glorified and your people be edified through your word in jesus name let the people of god say amen let the people of god say amen praise the lord we are observing the theme the cries for the crisis and in light of that i want to speak to what's on the topic jesus still delivers amen jesus still delivers and i want to invite you at this time just look at your neighbor and say neighbor jesus still delivers praise the lord the book of matthew precedes the book of mark it records much of jesus's sayings however the gospel of mark records more of the actions and the doings of jesus mark emphasizes the power of jesus and demonstrates the power of his deity by the many miracles that he performed as we journey through the book of mark it talks about jesus entering ministry through baptism we recognize the heavens would have opened and god spoke about jesus being his son mark then declares that jesus like any other human encountered temptation hallelujah he was led into the wilderness where he was tempted up the devil but by the grace of god he came out victorious somebody glorified god in this house hallelujah mark continued to allow us to understand that jesus would have engaged in several aspects of ministry throughout his sojourn we realized that jesus went to the synagogue on the sabbath day this was a place of religious instruction the term synagogue means coming together or the assembly of the brethren but as jesus was present the bible tells us that there was a man with an unclean spirit somebody bless god what a thing but we understand that jesus has a purpose and a mission to deliver somebody praise the lord our god and that in itself was a crisis in the church can you imagine all god's people gathered together to worship under the anointing of god but then there are people hallelujah with unclean spirits in our services unclean spirit disrupts our worship hallelujah it disrupts the flow of the anointing but i want the church of god to understand hallelujah that we're the presence of god is hallelujah nothing unclean can stay somebody praise the lord so jesus rebuke that demon hallelujah and immediately he was delivered right there and then a crisis was addressed somebody praise god the deliverance power of jesus christ it is still alive and well in our churches hallelujah we understood that jesus continued hallelujah many different miracles the bible tells us that people came from all angers and they were ministered to by the power of almighty god can i tell somebody in this audience today that jesus christ he still delivers whatever the crisis might be hallelujah the trend i see coming in the series of events hallelujah identifies that jesus shows up at places where people are in need somebody praise god hallelujah i believe that there are people in this congregation today you might be faced with crisis and you are in need of a deliverance when i stopped by to tell somebody that jesus is here and he still delivers lift your hands and worship god in this place hallelujah the bible tells us of a man hallelujah in the text that was read he was faced with a great crisis in his life he had leprosy oh somebody blessed the name of jesus he had a condition that caused for him to be rejected by society he had a condition where he could not enter the place of worship he could not enter the marketplace hallelujah oh god somebody need to recognize that this man need and help somebody praise god hallelujah he needed help hallelujah and he needed immediate attention when there is a crisis there is no time to lay around when there is a crisis there is no time for delay common people of god when there is a crisis we need help like right now somebody lift your hands and say right now jesus right now lord not later on not two days from now lord we are in a crisis and we need help now oh god almighty somebody praise god in this house hallelujah you see leprosy was not a condition to be desired hallelujah this man did not ask for this condition nobody asked for a crisis hallelujah but in our crisis there is a way that we can be delivered and that is by reaching out to jesus christ somebody praise god the sermons and reach out and touch the lord as he passes by he's passing by this moment your needs to supply somebody lift your hands up and praise god in this house hallelujah feel the presence of god in here so this man recognized that he was faced with a crisis hallelujah and not only that he recognized that the cries for his crisis was passing by and because this man was passing by here's my opportunity to be delivered come on somebody so that my ever said that this man he came to himself and he cried out to jesus he said if thou wilt thou can't make me clean somebody praise god as i observe this man's situation hallelujah of god i recognize that there was a cry of earnesty come on somebody this man had an earnest desire to be delivered come on somebody he had an earnest desire to be set free anybody in here like that today you are faced with a condition and you need deliverance you are faced with a bondage and you need to be set free when i stopped by to tell somebody that this moment is a moment of deliverance that this period is a period of deliverance somebody praise god songwriter said touching jesus is all that really matters and your life will never be the same somebody lift your hands and reach out to almighty god in this place hallelujah so this man made an earnest cry hallelujah oh god he beseeched the lord he begged up the lord yeah god almighty i can understand that there are times when we have to cut down on our knees there are times that we have to weep and wail come on this in our condition we have to put on the gardens of weeping i don't know how but i need a deliverance come on oh somebody i hear somebody crying lord i need a touch you are the great deliverer you are the great defender and we are looking to you if i if i could picture this man's approach it brought me back too many years ago when i was just a little tired hallelujah the god living with my grandmother and sometimes passed to michael a little out of god we would ask my grandmother for something we would be desperately in need of something and when i asked mama for that thing mama would say no hallelujah but we had a way as children to get to our grandmother we would go behind the door sister samuel we would tip our finger on our tongue and wipe it down our face like we were crying and then we would go before mama and we would look at mama and say do mama do come on people have got it welcome back there are times when we have to make up our fears we have to go before the lord i will be said to god to hallelujah of god is a crisis in my marriage and i need deliverance to god to there's a crisis at my workplace and i need a deliverance to god do i know we are sophisticated people but there are times when we have to get to that position where we we need to get to that position where we shall not come fire we need help [Music] oh somebody get up on your feet and praise god in this house hallelujah of god praise god like you came to praise him come on truman lift your hands and just see me here lord see me here lord i am in a crisis that only you can deliver me from see me here see don't let me preach oh somebody praise god in this house hallelujah somebody praise god in this house the leprous man he did not remember anything about anybody else nobody has mattered at the time all that matters is that i am in a mess and i need deliverance all that matters is that i have a need and the way maker is here the miracle worker is here for the church not hearing me the deliverer is here i am delivered praise the lord i was pulled by change in the mire of sinner but jesus hallelujah oh god somebody praise him the situation that this leprous man was in reminded me of bartimaeus hallelujah god who had a condition of blindness uh command somebody and he recognized that jesus christ was passing he had a crisis and you may look at it and say your situation is not a crisis but you don't know what it's like not being able to see come on somebody your situation might not be a crisis it might not look like a crisis to you because you don't know what it's like to be faced with a divorce command or somebody your situation might not look like a crisis they might say but you don't know what it's like not knowing where your next meal is coming from but i'm here to tell somebody that whatever your crisis is jesus christ is passing by is passing by this moment your needs to supply feel like preaching in god's house [Music] somebody has had blindness it was not much of a big deal pastor michael but it will not be because your two eyes are working oh the church is not helping me i gotta marry i might be in a wheelchair and somayan may look around and say that's all right you are still able to move around for you will not understand until somebody has to push you that is why when i come to the house of the lord god almighty i will not hold my praise i will not hold my shoulder i'm gonna lift my hands if i can dance i'm gonna dance because there is a deliverer in the house of the living god come on [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] and there is [Music] was told to shut up ah come on somebody how many of you come to welcome back sometimes you feel a praise in your boot but the ushers want to put you to sit down oh come on sometimes you feel a dance in your feet and the pastor don't want your show to alone come on but until you understand the crisis that i am in you won't understand my shoulder until you recognize where i have been you won't understand my shoulder i wish a church a god person would get up on their feet right now and shall the lord the lord came true i thought i would have died but the lord delivered i thought i would have been buried but the lord delivered i [Music] hallelujah [Music] [Music] oh hallelujah hallelujah let me preach some more [Music] there's something i like about this oh namahosa [Music] there's something i like about this man despite him being in a crisis he had a level of humility to him hallelujah of god the bible said that while he prayed to jesus he did not say jesus you can so you better make me whole hallelujah to god but he humbled himself can i talk to god's people that when you are going to the lord despite your crisis humble yourself in the presence of the lord so this leprous man said if thou wilt thou can't make me clean in other words he was saying i'm not questioning your ability hallelujah because i already know that you can oh the church not helping me i'm not questioning whether or not you are able to do it hallelujah to god the matter at hand is your willingness right now come on somebody we know that god can deliver we know that god can heal we know that he can set free after all he came to set the captain free but the one was saying lord god almighty not because you can teach that you will but lord i am begging you to look down on my situation i'm begging you lord to look down on my condition i call to jesus hallelujah one of the problems that the church is faced with can i take my time is that we are no longer going down on our knees oh hallelujah oh god we are no longer crying out to jesus hallelujah despite the crisis we are comfortable in our crisis can i talk to the church we are relaxed in our crisis but many years ago i heard a songwriter and said bun you believe oh hold on to your bellies and cry hold on to your bellies and cry but we don't have time but pretty topper hallelujah oh god just to show me where oh many of us in our prayers we would say father god but i grew up in a house where my grandmother she was not as eloquent as many of us are today but when she got down to prayer and she started name of the situation who hallelujah of god need healing who need deliverance who needs salvation but what i liked about her prayer that she has certain intervals when she would raise her voice i said jesus hallelujah national crisis jesus national pandemica we need the barlow papa jesus crime and violence we need the cryogen for by jesus [Music] somebody lift your hands and say lord we need you lord we need you [Music] jesus [Music] hallelujah i'm coming down [Music] but as i draw nearer i like jesus's approach and because he is [Music] the christ for the crisis he has authority to break protocols ah god almighty i was saying to the church some time ago that the holy spirit has every authority ah but sometimes the church breaks loose and we just want to jump and shout we just want to move on a boat and hug somebody and embrace somebody hallelujah of god but we have to hold on to the protocols despite the holy ghost is that move god respects protocol hallelujah jesus healed the leprous man jesus had the authority and he healed him but jesus started to observe the protocol god give your offering and show yourself to the priest jesus could have exempted him from that but jesus respects protocols hallelujah but what i like here jesus was a little bit unorthodox hallelujah and i want you to understand as i wrap up that when it comes on to a crisis hallelujah oh god there are some things that god will do differently you see we are asking god to show up and we are expecting him to show up in a certain way but we cannot beat god to a particular move or approach so while everybody was there observing jesus stretched forth his hand and everybody was looking on in ah perhaps some would have said the lord has sinned hallelujah oh god but jesus sees your condition can i talk to the people of waltham he's not afraid of your condition somebody might be watching on the live stream god is not afraid of your condition hallelujah of god and he laid his hands hallelujah on that man and he said the most important thing that this man could have heard in his entire life jesus could have said to him i can but the icon did not matter at that moment hallelujah oh god almighty i know that you can that doesn't mean much to me what i want to know now is that you will or the church not helping me jesus said to the leprous man i will be thou clean and ten days later the leprosy departed or the church not sharp enough one month later the leprosy departed hallelujah no no no no no the word of god says immediately anybody need an immediate deliverance i'm closing right now but if you just stand up on your feet lifting up your hands to the lord you know your condition right now open up your mouth and begin to give god a praise open up your mouth and begin to call god's attention to your situation open your mouth and say lord we need you now [Music] oh hallelujah hallelujah i want to allow you to understand that jesus christ is here and he is here to deliver you from your crisis whatever it is you need deliverance from jesus is here i heard a good old hymn from the church of god said jesus christ is made to me all i need all i need wisdom righteousness and power holiness forevermore god god almighty so many declared he's a lily of the valley he is a bright annoying star he is a doctor when all of the doctors are feeling is your way maker when you lose your weight somebody praise god i'm closing is the king of our kings is alpha and omega is the christ in the midst of your crisis [Music] while you take your seats i'm gonna pray for somebody today i don't know how you would have done it here but to be on the safe side i want you to remain to stand with me if you're faced with a crisis and you're in need of a deliverance hallelujah just stand right where you are with your hands raised in the attitude of worship [Music] we're gonna sing this one touching jesus is all that really matters and your lives will never be the same there is only one way to touch jesus just believe when you call on his name let's see it one time [Music] come on somebody reach out and touch him [Music] where are my worshipers where are my [Music] worshipers [Music] touch it with your faith [Music] if you permit me i believe we can do it one more time [Music] there's only one way to touch jesus [Music] our god and our father the christ in the crisis [Music] we thank you lord for your word of assurance today that you still deliver we thank you god for your word that went forth the comfort that we received in your word oh hallelujah lord as your people are standing in response to your word lord many are faced with individual crises lord many are faced with all kinds of conditions hallelujah some are even ashamed to even mention but lord god almighty you assured us today that you are the deliverer you are the compassionate god father i pray for every person that is telling me with a need today god that you will reach out even now and minister to them oh god that you will oh pour out yourself upon them god deliver them god almighty from whatever situation they might be faced with oh god many have been suffering for a long time many have been seeking help for a long time but god almighty in the midst of this service i pray lord that you will show up and minister to somebody's need oh father many have cried many tears many asleep sleepless nights because of the
