Rev. Lee Stoneking preaching "Beyond Where We Are"

because of the tremendous Moving's of the Spirit of God through the years and especially this week at Landmark there's something I want to share with you here this morning and as a foundation I want to go to the book of Acts chapter 5 a point of reference here in chapter 5 Ananias and Sapphira and have just fallen dead and great fear came upon the church because of what had just happened it says in verse 11 of Acts 5 it says here in verse 11 and great fear came upon all the church that word fear could be accurately interpreted to mean respect great respect or great fear came upon all the church and upon as many as heard these things and by the hands of the Apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people and they were all with one Accord in Solomon's porch verse 14 says and believers were the more added to the Lord multitudes both of men and women in so much that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at the least the shadow every once a shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them there came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem bringing sick folks and them which were vexed with unclean spirits and they were healed everyone not just a half a dozen twenty twenty-five but every individual was healed by the presence and the power of this man called Jesus and then if you look in the book of Acts chapter 19 this is also a very unusual setting here if you look at verse 11 in acts 19 it says in God brought special miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons and the evil spirits went out of them I want to entitle this today beyond where we are I want you to lift your hands your voices in your hearts and I want you to pray for a spirit of Revelation to come upon you as a believer no matter who you are here today just lift your hands and let your voice out don't worry about people hearing you just talk directly to this Jesus for a moment Lord Jesus today by the authority of the word of God by the power of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I'm asking you that a spirit of Revelation and understanding come upon us impart to us transmit to us that power that reality that touch o God that will help us to set this world on fire for the cause of the kingdom of God anoint us mightily here today to hear to speak what the say lord help us to feel the brush of angels wings help us to feel the touch of the master's hand we will not fail to give you praise glory and honor we ask these things in the matchless resplendent of a powerful name of the Lord Jesus Christ and if you believe that God has heard you tap your hands all you people and just shout unto the Lord with a voice of triumph I am in this house but bless you you may be seated we are Apostolic Christians we are not traditional Pentecostals that we have a Pentecostal experience but we are apostolic Pentecostal we are apostolic Christians we are that which was born in the beginning we are the originals we are the classical apostolic Christians here today we have an incredible heritage the Scriptures I just read to you can you imagine that the greatness of the anointing and the power that was on Peter that they came from all over the countryside the Bible says to where he was and they laid people in the streets perhaps on blankets mats maybe just on the bare ground so that when Peter walked by maybe his shadow would pass over them and they would be healed whether you understand this or not or even believe it that is our heritage this is who we really are Paul got to the place with the anointing of God in his life he didn't even have to go to the cities of villages roundabouts they just tore up pieces of his clothing handkerchiefs aprons and took it to people and they were marvelously miraculously healed and delivered again this is our heritage this is who we are this is what we stand upon we are a miraculous people we are believers that can do exactly what Jesus did we've got the power were inside of us to lay hands on anyone and command that they'd be healed and they will be healed we can cast out devils all manner of sickness can leave bodies we are in Apostolic people jesus said greater things than these will you do because you will have the comforter we have the comforter we have his name we have his authority we have his presence he is alive inside of us this is not some statue that we're kneeling before it's not some memory but he is alive walking in the aisles of this sanctuary today angels are on this platform but we're in the presence of a heavenly host of that's worth shouting about that's worth dancing about that's worth crying out about because we are a blessed people with the authority and the power of God in our lives so once again with realization just cup your hands and let your voice out Jesus I worship you I've reached the point in this and what I have seen thus far in the ministry and traveling the world I realized that we've got to get beyond where we are we've got to get beyond just the routine type services we have we've got to get involved with yielding to the Spirit of the Lord whenever he comes walking in the choir does not have to sing no matter how long they practiced if Jesus comes in the best thing we can do is scrap the program and follow the Spirit of God I don't have to preach this message or this understanding in its entirety when Jesus walks in the best thing you can do is scrap it all and follow him and if he tells you to climb over a Pew then climb over a Pew if he says lay hands on somebody then go lay hands on them because I'm telling you as I've told you before the key to being used mightily by God is to make yourself available availability that is who God uses he's never had anyone that was perfect there never was a perfect vessel he had to use and I can tell you ladies and gentlemen visitors and all there are men that could have done this thing bigger and better than I ever did it but they didn't do it so I'm going to give it everything I've got because God will make up the difference and I can tell you something else about all of this so God doesn't always call the qualified he qualifies the called and if you've got Jesus it doesn't matter what society says it doesn't matter what they say in the news it doesn't matter in the family it doesn't matter on the workplace if you are pleasing Jesus that's all that matters and you shout the victory run the Isles and worship God every time you come to the house of God so for just a moment just do your thing for Jesus here I know it's Sunday morning but just for a moment just do your thing Jesus I worship you because your God my close friends in the ministry do not want me to travel alone anymore they've told me they sip of the strong King with what you've been through and you're 74 years old you don't need to be traveling by yourself you need someone to be with you they can sort of pick up the loose ends so that's why Jonathan Shotwell is with me on this trip and a lot of other trips that I make the story about him is this I met his father when his father was quite young a be I don't know 1928 or even remember and because of the times and they had a line where they had young preachers come through that they wanted us to pray for and I was in that line of preachers that was praying for young ministers that were coming through and I didn't know who David Scher was I didn't know anything about him but when he walked in front of me the whole ago spoke to me and said go after him and of course I know what that means so I prayed for him and then I got a hold of him and I said I don't know your name but I said God spoke to me about you and I want to talk with you well it scared him he didn't want anything to do with me he kept as far away as he could stay but then in the next day's service the power of God fell on the platform and they were praying for some minister and it's like a football huddle like we do and David came up and he got on the outside that football huddle and I thought this is my chance so I walked up behind him and I put my arm on his shoulder I said David come with me now well he couldn't say no so he followed me back into Gerald Mangan's office and I closed the door and locked it and I said I want to tell you what I feel about you in the spirit and I did and I prayed for him he was never the same he was never the same and today he's got one of the most powerful churches in the whole state of Oklahoma it's incredible the move of God they have there but after that as he was pastoring there in the early days of Okemah Oklahoma he asked me to come preach a revival for them and so I did and in those days a lot of times we stayed in the home of the pastor's so I stayed in brother/sister Shotwell's home while I was preaching that revival sister Shotwell had never gotten pregnant in all the years that they had been married but while I was staying in that home praying and worshiping God along with them of course she became pregnant and I always told David I said David I'm much more powerful than you thought nine months later a son was born and they called him Jonathan David Shotwell Jonathan from the time he's been able to talk has always called me papa Lee so I've always been a grandpa to him well in these last years few years I've always seen him we've gotten together talked at conferences whatever but and when he was seventeen and that was three years ago he came to my home and spent about three days with me and we prayed and talked to God but what happened was this as I was talking to him and working with him he's only 17 he had a hold of the gift of the Spirit he's got ahold of the word of knowledge the word of wisdom and discerning of spirits at 17 years of age I was shocked and I know and you know if you understand the fivefold ministry that those three gifts are attached to the office of a prophet in the fivefold ministry all true prophets have those three gifts so I knew then that if Jesus tarried he would be a prophet of God in the kingdom of the Lord I knew that so I had him begin to travel with me and that's a long story also but he's been a tremendous blessing because he pulls he pulls together the loose ends for me Jonathan has made it possible for me to keep all the commitments I've committed too since I've had all these surgeries and things that have happened he's made it possible for me to travel and to keep all of the commitments and Jonathan I thank you for that I'm very grateful I'm very grateful but I've told you all of that to get this last year we were brother varnum's Church in Bellevue Florida and there was a move of God and I was ministering as I do and Jonathan was ministering among the people and he does that a lot and he works with people and and all of a sudden as I turned I came back this way and Jonathan had come up to the edge of those three steps and emotion for me and I leaned down to him and tears running down his face and he said Papa I want you to pray for me I said okay he said I want you and this is exactly what he said he said I want you to pray specifically that God will impart to me the passion and zeal that has driven you for all these years to do what you have done no one's ever asked that of me before I put my hands on his back in his chest and I prayed and the thing I felt I felt it go to him and I said Jonathan I prayed but when we get back to the room tonight I'll tell you what it is that has given me the passion and the zeal to do what I do so we get back to the room and I sit down and I said Jonathan here's the thing that has driven me to do what I do when I first got the Holy Ghost people I was so thrilled - it wasn't a think-so situation in apostolic Christianity it's a no-sew situation it's not mind over matter accept Christ or something like that it's not that you have an experience it's a no-sew situation you can touch the experience in the Word of God so I said Jonathan this is what happened when I first got the Holy Ghost I was so excited about having the truth that I could actually find in the Word of God and so I would go to work in those days that was working in going to Drake University at night studying commercial art art and I was working for Raquel Motor Transit company during the day an office work in capacity anyway I would come home from there swallow my dinner whole and I would lay on the floor and then apartment I had across the University and I would sob and speak with tongues for an hour two hours I did it every night night after night after night after night you can't do that and God ignore you if you pray and reach out to him suddenly he will come into your life like you've never had him before and the more you pray the more you get to know him the closer he becomes to you and he will tell you things he doesn't tell other people that's how the gifts of the Spirit come to you all of a sudden because of your relationship with him he begins to whisper things in your ears and you begin to understand you see things about people in people you know things about this spirit and one night I had a dream and this is what I told Jonathan I said in this dream there was this gigantic sliding board and in Jesus is really something people he will deal with you where you are he will deal with you about the things that you know about he'll take you from the known to the unknown is what he does well as a child my sister and I walked a country mile and went to a schoolhouse in the countryside that's where I started in school and and they had sliding boards well as a kid on the farm a sliding board was a big thing to us we didn't have computers and all this stuff back there but we had sliding boards and they were fun and I always got on them as a kid I always liked them so God used this gigantic sliding board and it would and somehow or other in the dream I got to the top of this thing and I got on it and it went down down down it went way off into the future like that and way off in the future there was this magnificent would look like this magnificent white light that was just shining up I got on that sliding board and as I was going down it I was going faster and faster but as I got closer to I could seek more clearly that white light that I thought was a light was not the light I thought it was it was hell and it was so hot it was glowing white and the Holy Ghost spoke to me and he said the whole world is on this sliding board and you're going to have to hit them very hard to get them off to knock them off the board and I started sobbing I woke up sobbing people that's why I'm preaching everywhere preachers you need to preach this thing like you've never preached it you need to tell it like you've never told it because we're going to have to hit this world with something that is so powerful that will knock them off from that course if you believe that I believe that God is imparting something right now to some of you there's an authority coming up on some of you right now I can feel it if you believe that if you can feel that you are a clap and just shout with your voice because I want you to receive it I want you to be seen it Oh something is happening don't let go of that don't let go that something's happening right now hot Oliver Rakesh attire a boldness with wisdom to come upon these people an authority apostolic Authority these signs shall follow them that believe grant it Lord Jesus now imparted transmitted in the name of Jesus of Nazareth retire one more time just cap your hands and shout to the Lord with Thanksgiving that's it that's it that's it this October 6th I would have had the baptism of the Holy Ghost for 51 years and in July this year I'll be 75 years old if it had not been for the resurrection power of this man called Jesus I now would have been in the grave for 12 years he raised me from the dead in 2003 so last year this is what I did I went to Jesus at the beginning of the year and I said Jesus I was ready to go when I fell dead in Sydney Australia in 2003 but you raised me from the dead miraculously I'm not supposed to be here I said then the stents they put in as preventive medicine scar tissue formed around them and I had a five and a half hour open heart surgery to bypass all the arteries that were now blocked and I was ready to go then and then last year in August I knew something was wrong I called the clinic the hospital and the doctor says something's wrong I said I want to come to the hospital and I want you to give me some kind of a test to show if there's any blockage in any one of those bypass veins that you have put on my heart so they said come and I did and they said we'll give you a heart catheterization and they did they double heart catheterization I was awake for two hours I watched it on the screen beside me I watched everything they did and sure enough the walls are one of the veins had come together which shut off 20% of the blood flow so they put a stent in and I was out the next day and I was fine and I'm still fine and I've said Jesus I was ready to go then and I'm ready to go today why am I here what is it that you want me to do what am I supposed to do I will do anything you want whatever you want me to do I'm willing to do it I just want to know exactly what it is and God impressed of it I prayed it how many times but got impressed on me he said I want you to transmit to this generation what you've got ahold of that's what I want you to give that's what I want you to do that's what I want you to preach so I made up my mind I'm going to start telling things I've never told before I've seen things in the spirit I've never told before because I wasn't even sure people would believe it but I'm at the point now I don't care if you believe it or not you need to hear it because God is a miraculous God this Jesus is going to do things for us like we've never seen before we have not even scratched the surface of what belongs to us in the realm of the miraculous I mean if they can tear pieces of cloth off from Paul's body and people be healed and delivered if a shadow passing by can cause people to be healed my god in heaven people you understand what we've got ahold of and what we could be doing and what could be happening but we're going to have to get as I said Friday night beyond ourselves we've got to get beyond ourselves don't worry if it doesn't happen I've had preachers say to me well you've prayed for them they weren't healed why not I said I don't know why not I'm not God he just said lay hands on them and pray so I lay hands on them and I pray you know what our problem is I'll tell you what our problem is we major on the minuses we major on the minuses forget what didn't happen that shot and run the Isles about what did happen that's what's major on the presses that's major on the process there are reasons why people are not healed there are things happen I don't know I feel like camping I feel like screaming here today I just feel like dancing because the realm of the supernatural is upon us hmm oh Jesus Jesus Jesus I worship you what are you to shout I want what he's talking about do it again Oh God God answers prayer God answers prayer that's it let your voice out if the thing you know is on you go after it right now I pray in Jesus name that some of you as believers as ministry that there'll be something happen to you in this service that you're never going to be the same that you can never go back to just the same 7-eleven but it will change your home it will change your marriage it will change your church it will change your family it will change your neighborhood it will change the workplace because this Jesus is alive and well nothing nothing nothing nothing is impossible to God nothing is impossible with God nothing is impossible with God no thing I wonder what would happen if every man every woman every young person would just clap for a moment in recognition of what I've just said and give it credence in the presence of God there are people shouting standing in the balcony the Holy Ghost is in this place and because Jesus is in this house right now anything can happen I pray you're never going to be the same that you'll never be the same that you will never be the same that you will never be the same that you will never be the same that you will never be the same that you will never be the same that you will never be the same in the name of Jesus of Nazareth that's hit just let your voice out let your voice out don't be afraid don't be afraid it has happened it has happened that thing is upon you that power of God is upon you so you can rejoice in it you can rejoice in it because you will never be the same again you college students that are here from CLC there's something moving on you here today in the service that can absolutely catapult you into the ministry it will help to change this world you've got the education here you've got the instruction but there's something supernatural in this place today that is falling upon you a pakora shot ayah people something is passing to the younger generation something is passing to the younger generation God is raising up an army of young preachers and young men in this country in this world that's it that's it that's it so if you feel like yelling just yell if you feel like screaming just scream but get a hold of him press your way through the crowd press your way through the crowd that's it that's it that's it that's it ato karate abraca handle hemorrhage attire Baraka that's it I took raka all over this audience all over this audience just lift your hands and let your voice out to lose yourself in this atmosphere lose yourself in this miraculous touch of God that's it that's it that's it that's your voice out if you cannot get to the alter just where you're sitting in the audience if you just lift your hands and worship God all over the audience in the balcony the Spirit of God the gift of faith is in this place if there are people being healed right there in the seat where you're seated right now in the name of Jesus that's it that's it that's it drove my cell to let your voice out touch him while he isn't here reach for him buddy is if you're a believer here today pure a believer get your hands on someone that the power of God and you flow to others of hitaka the gift of faith
