hey everyone and welcome back to another video on the good night redder channel and the r slash entitled parents subreddit with today a karen says believe it or not all brown people are spanish if you want to know what goes on during this story then please stay tuned no i live in manchester uk where most brown people are of asian or arabian heritage backstory i am a second generation indian immigrant on my mother's side my father's side is jewish and quite is a mixed past his mother's side being from eastern europe and canada his father's being from israel and canada all of these races mixed together give me a light brown skin colour i am lucky because i can pass as white meaning that i don't get much racial harassment from people who don't know me this being said i am still often mistaken as being of hispanic origin but most of these assumptions end with an apology from their side all but this one this was pre-covert and i was at an ice skating ring with some friends they had gone off to get some snacks and i was doing laps of the ring when a woman walked up to me holding her phone she was glancing back and forth from me and her phone and our conversation went as follows karen in a strong northern american accent i i really can't be bothered to change accents so hola me llamo karen hello my name is karen it is probably worth noting that i know how to hold up a very basic conversation in spanish so this may have led to some confusion on her part me hello karen yeah hi so i was wondering if you'd be willing to teach my son some spanish me oh i'm not a fluent speaker i couldn't teach someone for the life of me karen but you do speak the language right you can teach as you learn me i barely can i only know some from school and some from friends karen liar you are clearly hispanic all hispanic people speak spanish you're just a lazy brat me okay first of all i'm indian i don't know where you got the spanish thing from and second that is an extremely sweeping statement karen oh come on every person with brown skin like that she really elongated the eye no are spanish me listen karen maybe that's the case in the uh america but not around here no i'm off to go get some crisps with me mates if you follow me i'll call 999 and i just realized that this person's british because they say crisps so i had to put that in there anyway and tell them that a middle-aged woman is harassing me karen oh my god your english is terrible crisp isn't a word they're called chips americans saying that their version of a language that we made is the correct one is a massive trigger for me so i had to bite my tongue to stop myself from cussing around me i'm warning you walk away at this point she realized i wasn't bluffing and walked away in a huff i decided to not tell my friends since i didn't want to make a big deal out of it i have made a bunch of karen encounters but this one was by far the funniest and also the worst edit wow let's blow up while i was out thank you all for the upload saying kind strangers by the way i know that not all americans are like that pog is i'm not american don't know why but i have a strong hate for the word crisps it's probably because the end bit was i don't it sounds really annoying to me i don't know so i hate the word crisps i gotta stop saying it before i trigger myself but uh personally chips is how i prefer to say it but if you say crisps then like good on you okay so a little bit of backstory this happened before covert 19 happened and i was 13 at the time and it was my little brother's birthday party i live in the netherlands and everything said will be translated from dutch it was my little brother's birthday my little niece six years old wanted to go to the playground so i went with her to keep an eye on her together with my aunt and uncle she lives in america and i don't actually see her a lot while she was playing on my phone after some time i got a message from my mother to come back to eat cake so i walked to my niece and told her to come home with me so we could go get cake that's where everything went wrong though apparently there was a mother of another kid that saw me looking up from my phone every once in a while to check if my niece was okay she also heard me tell her to go home with me and eat cake she walked up to me and goddamn hit me when i am angry i start talking very slow and very clear so i calmly said why did you hit me and this piece of crap exploded she just started shouting stuff at me like that's what you get for being a pedo and go screw yourself this is when my knees broke down i wanted to cheer her up but she didn't let me she just pushed me away and i heard someone call one one two so i decided to whip out my phone and start filming her just to go berserk i tried to get to go to my niece again but she still didn't allow it i started slowly explaining to her that i wasn't a pedo and that she is my niece and that's when she grabbed my phone and smashed it on the ground my screen was broken and my camera was damaged happily it was still filming i saved the image fast and out of my phone away in my pocket that's when the police arrived they split us up into three groups me my niece and the mother and her child first they of course asked the mother what happened she of course told them that i was a pedo and i tried to take her to my home then they asked me and i said that she was my niece and that i told her to go home to eat cake i also told them that i had proof of what had happened and that they could ask a random person on the playground to verify my story that's when the mother became almost translucent i showed them the video and after they asked my niece it was really if she was really my niece but she was too scared to answer so i offered them to take them to my house so that the family could confirm my story we went to my house and my family confirmed my story also because that my niece came from america my uncle and aunt had her passport with them this is when the mother really blew up she started accusing everyone of being a pedo even the cops they took her to the car and then came back they asked me if i wanted to press charges and of course i did in the end i got a brand new iphone xr and 100 euros out of it she also had to pay 500 euros because she harassed the cops in the end my niece recovered from it pretty quick and she was able to still have an enjoyable holiday in the netherlands at it i also decided to give the 100 euros to my niece to buy some dolls or other stuff and at it too thank you so much for reward random strangers well i mean in the end you got a new phone out of this encounter and 100 euros for your knees so i'd say this an absolute win man if that ain't stonkers i don't know what is also congratulations to you for you know taking her to uh court and pressing charges because not a lot of people decide to do that so for some context i'd say that this happened about two years ago so i was maybe 14-ish at the time me my family and three of my mom's friends family decided to go to the universal for a few days but before we left my great-grandmother had huge like rolls of coins of around 40 each you see i thought my mom had taken them to a coin exchange machine and had gotten them swapped out with bills but i was wrong oh god was i wrong the first few days at the park we were completely fine we had lots of fun honestly it was an awesome place and the staff and everyone was awesome then we come to our last day at the parks we had split up into two groups you see all of my mom's friends kids were all pretty young about 12 or under so they were all more or less interested in the hulk which again an awesome ride but my mom and her friend wanted to go to the harry potter world i decided to tag along with them if you've never seen the movie or read the book there's a scene where harry gets chosen by his wand universal had kind of replicated that and had small showings where they would choose someone from the crowd and have them recreate that scene we decided to stop by and take a look now the showing groups are quite small so there were probably about eight people in the room at total three or four of them being smaller kids honestly i didn't think i'd be chosen there since there were younger kids than me and their mums when none of them asked for the workers if one of her kids could be chosen which my mum complained to me about later but i was and the show was awesome i would highly recommend going if you ever find yourself in universal we had an option to buy the wand and i was planning on using my own money i had earned from babysitting and such so i asked my mom and she said sure fast forward to then when we were up at the cash register i was about to pull out my money when my mom stopped me wait let's use this instead i was mortified when she pulled out fifty dollars in quarters and dimes and proceeded to put them on the counter the cashier looked at her inside if you're saying this i am so sorry the cashier was understandably upset at that point and started to count the coins and i wanted to die my mum looked really happy with herself that's when the cashier's worker pointed out that they had a coin counter or something like that the cashier refused saying that they could count faster than it would take to weigh the coins and i don't know the dialogue isn't exact this was a while ago but eventually the cashier finished counting the coins and i felt so bad for them cashier if you're seeing this i really apologize also sorry if some of the wording doesn't really make sense i'm tired and this is memory just kind of hit me like a truck looking back my mom wasn't as entitled this time as more of the others but you know really taking into this consideration but trust me there are more stories i could share about her all i'm gonna say now is that is awesome the harry potter thing sounds so cool and i really want to try that out but your mom doesn't really sound all that entitled than this he just sounds like it's you know easier to remove the coins but at the start of the story you said you could like exchange it for bills i feel like if she had just done that it would have saved so much time so you can probably guess where i work based off contacts clues but here's a hint there's a mouse who writes my checks mostly kidding mobile users erase my spelling but no emojis will be harmed in the making of this story i work in a hotel in a very very humid yet magical place i.e an epicenter for entitled parents this is a month or two before covet struck cast me a cog in the machine apathetic mum entitled dad aka prickled rick clueless two-year-old child i'm standing in my lobby beyond ecstatic to greet my next guest when in walks the family of three mentioned above i gave them a smile me welcome home how can i assist you apathetic mum ah we're just checking in clueless two-year-old is for most of this story in his stroller gazing at the magnificence around him me great let's head over onto prickled rick just so you know we chose this place because they upgraded us last year me oh how cool wet prickled rick yeah they gave us a theme park view and we were transferred from a different resort clueless two-year-old loved it and hopes you will do it again sure prickled rick a kid in pull ups chatted about this with you both over coffee i walked them over to my desk barrying my sarcasm under well-informed unbiased facts that our resort was near full occupancy do a large convention in town but i'll give back my office team a call for you spoiler we didn't have the room for the free mind you upgrade that prickled rick was wanting for his five night stay at least starting tonight me so unfortunately we do not have the upgrade tonight we may start tomorrow if you wanted to call the prickled rick proceeds to lift clueless two-year-olds from his stroller and sit him on my nice counter prickled rick alright then you get to tell clueless two-year-old that you are unable to give him magic now i had still not been in the phone with my back office co-worker who heard it all and he had thanked me for checking anyway had a lot of other things happening at the moment we would have offered a complimentary room change starting tomorrow but no freckled rick pulled his prickled entitled move i glanced at the kid then it prickled rick a pathetic mum to be fair looked very embarrassed but said nothing only took the kid down and put him back in the stroller me non-challengingly guest is declining the complimentary room change for tomorrow breckeldrick realized his mistake as my back office power laughed hysterically on the other end we will both leave comments so this is lovely lovely guests could pull this stunt again i smiled and hung up on the phone i finished the check-in in a breeze with prickled rick backing off an apathetic mum taking the information she thanked me and practically yanked her family away to the ready room not the most thrilling story but a sample of the extreme entitlement i deal with on the regular stay safe and hopefully you get a small chuckle out of it also i want to say congratulations to you for your work ethic there that's like the way you said things in this story just makes you sound like a genuinely uh kind-hearted person and someone who cares about their work so you know what props to you man okay so before we begin this is my first post on the subreddit so don't expect an elaborate work of art two i'm on mobile so i apologize for the spelling mistakes and three this happened a couple of years ago so i'm sorry if this retailing is a bit hazy alright now that that's out of the way onto the story for a little while i worked at a fast food restaurant it was only part time but it paid decently well we served hamburgers and ice cream on our kids meals each bag came with a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream and one topping one day i'm working to register and a boy about eight years old walked up with one of those coupons and a noticeably bruise on his forearm normally i'm a pretty nice guy but there was something about this kid's attitude that irritated me cast me take a guess honestly karen karen kid karen's accomplice mg manager kid i want some ice cream me okay and what flavor and what topping kid i want chocolate with oreos and fudge me alright i just need your coupon and 50 cents kid why do you need 50 cents me see the coupon allows for one topping but you want two so you need 50 cents to pay for the second one i'm sorry but i have to follow store policy kid i don't have 50 cents meme sorry i can give you one of the toppings but just not both then the kid burst into tears and ran back into the dining room a few moments later the crying stopped and then came back up with a large woman who had a karen looking haircut and i could only assume it was the kid's mum karen what did you do to my son me what i don't care who here said that you could touch my little baby me i don't know what you're talking about i didn't touch anyone karen then how did this big bruise get on his arm things like that don't just magically happen meanwhile the kid was crying again and started rubbing his arm me i never touched him all i told him is that he couldn't get two toppings on his damn ice cream karen and that doesn't give you permission to touch my baby i'm gonna go speak with your manager and i'll make sure you're fired for this me i didn't touch him but okay i'll go get him so we can kick you out karen what you can't tell me what i made sure to quickly walk away before she finished i go in the back to grab my manager and he was wondering why there was screaming coming from the front i just told him to come with me to help with something when we get back up front karen is putting bandages on her son's bruise very dramatically mg what's going on here me she's accusing me of karen this employee of yours just assaulted my baby look at this massive bruise i'm on him fired and i don't want him compensated immediately me but that's not true at all all i told him was that he needed 50 cents to get the second topping on his sunday karen now he's lying i'm not gonna stand for this if he's not fired i will call the police mg hold on now before we do anything drastic let's check the security cam footage that'll show us what truly happened karen finally lowering her voice wait the security cameras mg yeah it'll clearly show us who's right karen you don't have to do that just look at my baby's arm mg we'll be right back i go with the manager to check the tapes and sure enough it clearly shows me never touching the child eager to kick the lady in her back and i head back up with the front the manager but when we get there they're both gone nowhere to be found me and my manager both breathe a sigh of relief and continue on with what we were doing that lady never came in since this was certainly one of my craziest work experiences but i do have more and i'll probably share them at this post does as well all i'm saying now is that i feel like every restaurant that is mildly successful should have security cameras to prove all these kinds of things right because like imagine you're working one day and someone accuses you of this and you don't have um any security cams in the in the area like you could lose your job and your life could go straight downhill because some spoiled little brat didn't want to pay 50 cents for an extra like topping like imagine losing everything in your life because some snot knows brat didn't pay 50 cents for a topping like that would suck man so i live in poland and there are many catholic and entitled people cast me the weird guy em and title piece of crap po1 police officer 1 and po2 police officer 2 kid wasn't doing anything in the story story so i was wearing shorts and a metallica shirt and a sport bag i was going to gym by the bus and listening music on my phone on the next stop comes em with her kid and i don't pay any attention to her then she comes to me saying something i was checking something on my phone and i couldn't exactly hear her with my earphones in then she pokes me on my arm ian was in her late 30s early 40s conversation starts em excuse me me yeah em take off that shirt me why em you're scaring my kid with your satanic shirt kid was about two years younger than me i'm 14. me i'm not gonna take it off em why me i don't have any other shirt with me and i don't listen to strangers like you anyways i am getting very angry and grabs my arm with her hand she had long nails and grabbed me so hard that i started bleeding and this was the time that i went berserk mode i'm usually very peaceful and it takes me a long time to get angry me what the hell are you doing you fat piece of pig em shut up horse minus the s forgot to mention i'm a guy with a long hair and people often think that i'm a girl me don't you dare call me that em i'll call you i cut her off me i'm a guy iam had surprise pikachu face and then she slapped me in my face pretty hard if that isn't a surprise pikachu face i don't know what is bad for her that i know how to use judo in acts of self defense i grabbed her by the jacket and throw her on the bus floor em somebody call the police this frog just attacked me i'm straight by the way me to em police will arrest you by the way she tried to escape me when i was holding her on the floor then i passed out because of blood loss jesus then i woke up on another bus stop next to the police car and ian was screaming to the police officer he later came to talk with me po1 did you just attack this woman me yes but it was an act of self-defense po1 okay i understand me i think cameras on the bus could have recorded something there p01 i'll check it out he then sends po2 to see what happened five minutes later he said something to po1 and comes to me po2 would you like to press charges me yes please the end oh thank you for pressing charges my goodness no one does it like it's so hard to find someone who actually like presses charges everyone's usually like no no no it's okay just let her off with a warning like no press the charges get the money get the cash money and that's it for today's video if you guys did
