Renovating EA Builds in Brindleton Bay (Streamed 2/3/21)

hope you are doing well hi everyone happy wednesday okay so today we are going to finish renovating the mansion we started on monday perry thank you for the six months oh my goodness tara thank you it's pretty um thank you for the six months heidi thank you for the 15 months anyway we started working on this the other day we're gonna try and finish it today we have a lot of stuff to do like a exterior we haven't like landscaped it all yet we also have like most of the first floor to finish still like i kind of furnished this room but then we have to furnish these and these so nebraska we're done i think it already looks significantly better um so i should challenge myself build clothes and never use hannah this is a bad time to do that because this house i'm not going to change the color scheme of this is a pre-built ea house that was already this color scheme i'm not gonna like change the paint color i want this house to look very similar to how it always did um but better so i'm not gonna like paint this house orange or something because it was always blue um so we want it to look similar you know citywide thank you for the two months son thank you for the tier three 12 months um thank you for the bid sims me thank you for the bits uh watkins thank you for seven months thank you guys emma thank you for the bits also okay anyway i think we will have this ready i think we're good where's allen what my alien sim you guys you got it listen i'm trying to do 50 million things in the sims 4 on stream i can't there's too many things to do alan is just he's busy right now because i'm busy right now i'm building it's okay um i'm probably not gonna play with it with alan the aliens him again to be honest with you um i'm i i don't know i'm in kind of a building kick right now if i get back in a gameplay kick on stream then we'll do that i don't it just depends it all depends i never know how to answer people's questions like where's where's what where where where's planet zoo why aren't you playing planet zoo it's like i don't know i'm just playing the sims right now there's too many games i want to play and not enough time um sam thank you for the 17 months thank you thank you thank you i think that we should be ready to go though is snowing escape worth it it's on sale riley i think snow escapes a fun pack but again it's very much up to you i don't know what you're um what you're interested in candidly kayla hey kayla thank you for the sub gifts i really appreciate that thank you so much um i hope you're doing well fog thank you for the price of jess thank you for the bits siren thank you for the bits again um but yeah i like snowy escape i think the world is really cool um and like i think it's really fun to have that gameplay but there's probably other expansion packs that i'd recommend more over snowy escape like if you don't have like seasons yet or like city living i'd probably be like oh maybe you should grab those first um honestly eco lifestyle too i really love a lot but i think that snowy escape is a fun pack um there's so much cool stuff to do in that world um it's just a nice one it's just a nice one um woody thank you for the bits also but yeah i i think seasons is my favorite well i've said this a million times seasons is my favorite expansion pack seasons parenthood tiny living are my um my top three uh but again what i like you might not like you know because everyone has like different play styles right so i i like things that have good build features in them and i just think that seasons adds so much to the game like it's just so much more fun to play with seasons and weather and stuff um it just makes such a huge difference because it changes like every aspect of the game you know um and that's really nice but you might prefer having an expansion pack that has a new world you know because there isn't a new world with seasons but in my mind seasons changes every world to be so much better so i like it but you might prefer to have like city living so that you have you know sandwich you know when apartments and stuff like it just it depends what you what you want the most um emma thank you for the sub gift karma thank you for the for the nine months thank you guys so much um you know what else you could probably um back in the olden days of the sims 3 i used to obsessively read carl's sims 3 guide and i would like look at every single feature of the expansion packs and like break it down and try and figure out i used to make like tier lists before i even had any of them and i'd be like okay i really want this thing but i like that thing too which one do i want and i would like make pros and cons list like that's how i used to do it back in the sims 3 days um you probably could find like sims guides um to the current packs and um kind of figure out what you like about them um instead of just taking other people's words for it because again like what i like you might hate you know like you might love the vampires pack and that's like one of my least favorite gameplay pack i just don't care about vampires but like you might love that that might be your favorite pack you know and i just i don't care about it so um everyone's got different tastes with these things alicia thank you for the bits uh abracad thank you for the prime stuff emmett thank you for the bits um golden thank you for the three months now thank you for the bits also lucid thank you for the eight months thank you guys so much um yes their apartment's an eco lifestyle too yeah there's four apartments in eco lifestyle so eco lifestyle is a good combo between like city living and other worlds i and plus there's a lot of really good furniture on eco lifestyle like that's a fun pack it's also really good for like rags to riches type gameplay if you ever play like that so that's a fun one you're dying your hair brown tomorrow afternoon thoughts i like it i don't know what color your hair is right now fat but it's gonna look good um now thank you for the two months also dangerous moth thank you for the bits um i'm playing starting tomorrow dangerous month i think i want to play my single player stardu because i want to um i'm really close to completing it i'm so close and i haven't had time to play much this week because i've been busy so i want to play on the street really bad um tweet thank you for the bits also okay well i think i want to work a little bit on the landscaping because then i'll feel like i've made more progress right yeah let's do it i wanna this is gonna be um not how i want it to look can i like yeah that's better because i think i want to put like maybe that'll be the front of the middle of the courtyard thingy maybe i'll move these over too yeah swap it um the original house did not have a fountain there although that's a fun idea but i'm trying to sort of sort of have like an ode to the original the original house had a tree here um and so for that reason i am also going to put a tree there just because i'm trying to honor the original home um but they're like get famous or get together more i think i like get together a lot more than get famous rachel i usually get together a club system all the time i think it together is really underrated um because i use the clubs all the time to like make friend groups like if i have a sim age up to be a teenager i'll like make a club of all the teens in the world so they can have friends if you've got like your family live like you know grandma and your aunt live in a different household you can like make a club with your family so that you can see them more easily like i just i think that is so useful the club system is so good for so many things like i think it sort of gets advertised as like oh make a chess club and like that's kind of boring but using it to make like friend groups and stuff is really helpful um that's just it's nice it's nice and get famous is fun um but like i still like it i just i think i like it less you know um also the world like windenburg is so beautiful it's just it's a nice pack so crap and girl thank you for the thousand bits thank you bits quack thank you for the seven months melia thank you for the prime step also yeah well the original house had this courtyard i can't i can't take the credit for the courtyard because it wasn't just me um there was a little courtyard in the original build too um but we are doing it as well because i liked how it looked i'm sort of like i'm changing it a little bit though because i didn't like how it looked that much but they had a tree like that so aisha thank you for the 25 months hopi thank you for the 18 months oh and thank you for the tier 3 28 months get together is a really good pack honestly windenberg i love windenberg i love that world so much that's like a top-tier reason why i like it together so much is windenburg is just so pretty like i i love it windenburg is so good um so that why that for that reason get together is like way up there as one of my top packs um which is interesting because a lot of the time like the early packs like the the older ones you know from the olden days um a lot of times those are like objectively worse than the newer packs you know um but i like i like it together so emma thank you for the seven months also i think that's a nice touch i don't know how is the original one landscape should we go let's go look in a different save what the original one looks like again and we can see um it'll be on the gallery yeah don't worry don't worry all my builds are leo thank you for the eight months emma thank you for the seven months um some girl thank you for the five months thank you so much should you get cats and dogs or university ooh floral that's a good question i like them both a lot um i think the clothes in university are better and the gameplay is really fun but less useful for like everyday stuff like you anybody could have a cat or a dog but you might not have every sam go to university um i think the build stuff in cats and dogs is really good so it depends what you want um i think if you if you want to build with it i'd i'd like definitely 100 go cows and dogs plus brendelton bay is really good like that's a fun world um i say as i'm all i can't this isn't i can't look at it in this safe there's already a sim there and it's a different lot oh and kayla thank you so much i appreciate that brett thank you for the sub also um jess thank you for the bits erin thank you for the nine months some looks very different from this um wow okay so when we say what does their landscaping look like it doesn't really look like anything it's up to us to figure it out snappy are you okay she just scream for yeah landscaping yeah okay never mind i can't use theirs for i was trying to get like an idea for what their theirs looked like so we could kind of make it similar on purpose um snap i need to go it i have not been having back pain i some back pain but not it like so much better so much better this this chair has made such a big difference in my life buying a like better like ergonomic nice chair has made such a difference um cannot recommend enough buying like a good desk chair it's one of those things where like i i sit in my desk so like i sit here all day every day you know um invest in your comfort uh worthwhile so our church thank you for the nine months by the way uh sarcastic the year for the nine months as well thank you guys so much okay well i'm gonna start recording i can but i was like no i didn't freak up why would i be posting pictures if i broke up with him anyway it wasn't a lot of people it was just some people but i was like oh no i don't think the tweet implied that the tweet just was like this time last year sad face and then i replied to it and i was like i am sad and lonely and long distance sucks that doesn't imply that we broke up does it i don't know it just i thought that was kind of funny though i guess at first glance without thinking about it too much as they reply before they saw the reply to um but anyway i thought that was kind of funny i'm gonna get a fountain nice um anyway if we broke up you would not catch me tweeting like that so don't worry do not worry um i this is my favorite kind of bush in the sims and like one of my favorite kind of flowers in real life too to be honest with you they're just very pretty i think i want to get some bigger trees here but i don't know i guess let me filter by cats and dogs they have like big trees and cats and dogs we could use some of those hmm does that look okay yeah all the chat names different colors tara you can change your name color too if you want if you go into your twitch settings you can change it too um you just have to uh click the little gear icon in chat and you can pick what you want your name color to be anyone can do that and if you've got amazon prime you can get like a custom color with a hex code if you want um instead of just picking from one off their list um otherwise if you don't pick it yourself it'll give you a different color every day or whatever every time you type in chat but you can get some nice custom pretty colors if you'd like no i don't like how that looks i am not a fan of that at all i don't know if i like all the different trees uh sam's with love kendall emily uh simon peps thank you guys for the resets also um thoughts on the grass texture in brittleton bay i'm not sure if i like it or not it's been keeping me up at night for some time now yeah i don't know i'm not a huge fan of the grass texture in burlington bay either um it sort of upsets me i i'm with you um i i like it but it's weird you know i think that's a good way of describing it i like it but it's really weird um i don't know i just think something about it is like off seaming almost what if i did that do you dare me is that clipping [Music] that's rude i can do what i want it's like if you go into your twitch chat settings press the little gear icon in chat you can change your name color that way um maybe i will put that closer to it that's nice it works i'm gonna get some outdoor lighting sort of like snuck around the sides guys this is the kind of question i just for the record if you ever wondering like how to change your name color in chat you're probably way better off i know this sounds kind of sending out on me this way but you're probably way better off googling it than asking in twitch chat just because i'm probably gonna miss your question um and you might not understand what i'm saying but if you google it you can get like pictures and a guide you know and that'll be way more helpful sometimes people ask me questions like kayla how do you set up obs and i'm like this i can't explain this to you right now very easily you might want to look that one up but i think having the pictures is really helpful and then you can see it and it's just it's a it's a much more beneficial learning experience i think than just trying to explain it out loud really fast and twitch on twitch um hi snap my cat's here you can see her way yeah it's um i i don't expect it to be i find a lot of times you just can't win with like uh animated remakes of like you know favorites like that um because they're just never gonna be as good as the original because people have such a nostalgic like i don't know they just they're always gonna like the original better i guess the the audience is different they have different target audiences disney um like what wonderful timing it worked out very well uh there's one in paris already right i don't i've never been to disney paris so i don't know much about it but there's one coming to epcot um i think that's kind of funny i don't know if it's the same as one in paris i i'm you this isn't the place to get disney news if you're looking for disney news i'm not the person to ask um i don't know anything about that stuff i know a couple things and that's it um chelsea you're the three months um the house is on a foundation not platforms this is a real foundation what is epcot epcot's one of the parks in disney world disney world orlando um there's four disney parks in orlando there's magic kingdom epcot animal kingdom and hollywood studios and uh epcot is one of them with the big know what i want to do with this yet no i don't often go to disney especially not right now um no i'm not a a disney frequenter but i've been to disney probably more than the average person um because go to disneyland paris but um i think it'd be fun to go there someday but i feel like if i'm gonna go to paris i'd rather do things that i can't do very easily around here than like i've been to disney and i'm sure disney paris is really fun and really cool but it's like i've been to disney you know if i'm gonna go to paris i'd rather do things that you can only do in paris you know what i circumstances and stuff like that um but what an interesting like invited by who invited by by me because i i own the castle no invited by disney like disney invites you um but isn't that interesting when they said it i forgot california in my head i was like what tokyo shanghai orlando and then when i read their message i was like oh yeah oh yeah disneyland california yeah the first one oh yeah that one too right the original one yeah that's so embarrassing i've been there ea bought me a ticket to that once isn't that so cool um i didn't even have to pay for it and i got to go because uh when we went to ea play a couple years ago they paid for everyone like they bought us all a ticket so that everyone could go that was a very fun day i quite enjoyed that um because then like me and all of my friends were there at the same time and it was free i'm gonna use this [Music] um okay that's nice free my favorite word yeah um it's kind of it's a fun situation to be in i wasn't expecting them to do that they like surprised us with that which is kind of cool um and then they they also bought us i had never had like the photo pass before at disney um and they bought us the photo pass so that you we could like take photos with with people that have the cameras like walking around and stuff um and that was kind of cool too because i never i've never had the photo pass because i don't usually like why would i buy that here can i live here it's expensive but then we got so many photos because they took them for us and that's kind of fun so um should i make that like a darker color yeah probably um best cooking appliance in this oven grill microwave popcorn machine or dumpster who made this poll i'm voting dumpster um i can't use a rocking chair victoria we're trying to keep this house just cats and dogs in the base game so we can't use a rocking chair unfortunately um digital photos mel the way it works is that you have like access on your account to all of the digital photos so anyone who takes it like you can get like all the ride photos and like photos um like there's just like photographers around in the park like you can get like a photo in front of the castle like from a real professional professional photographer and then you get the photo pass then you can have it um stuff like that so dumpster is the correct answer oh we could have put a hot tub let me get a hot tub we could stick that over here and it wouldn't even look that out of place yeah i'm gonna put that there that's kind of nice okay yeah they're expensive so that's why i've never had that before but when ea is paying for it i mean feel free oh my god this is reminding me okay so let me tell you some context of what happened that day right so we were staying um in like los angeles proper like we were like literally on hollywood boulevard for this like event um almost um and so they bust us to anaheim to go to disney it's like an hour away probably um and so they had they we all had these like blue wristbands um to get back on the bus when it was time to go home that night and they had like um two trips they took so you could stay for the fireworks or not um but we all have like so everybody for the that was an ea game changer not just for the sims but like all of ea's games had like a blue wristband on right um and so we were like taking pictures um like all of us and james had like a uh like where's waldo shirt on or something and so we were taking like a where's waldo kind of picture a bunch of these simmers right and this guy walks by and he's like also an ea game picture of the blueberries been on and he looks at us and he goes oh you must be simmers because he was like oh game changers oh you must be simmer i mean yeah but what and he was like some star wars like battlefront game changer and then when he got back on the bus later that night he like made some joke like at least i don't play the sims what's wrong with you why are you so bitter about simmers what is wrong with you because he gets back on and he's like making jokes like a loose i don't play the zooms okay grow up i still think that's kind of funny though though oh you must be simmers yeah i don't know his name um i don't think i'm even recognizing i saw him again but i think that's kind of funny it's such a weird thing to say why do you care so much why are you acting like this weird guy um okay i'm gonna make these i think the white is better because it blends in better what if he's a big fan now no i bet he secretly loves the sims but he's embarrassed um because he glitching that happens a lot um you'll see that happening a lot with like cabinets sometimes too where they'll look like they're different colors but it's just glitchy lighting that's causing it um which is annoying but unfortunately it's it just happens often there's a cats and dogs desk i'm not a huge fan of this desk as a computer desk because it bothers me where like i wish that the chair was um i wish the chair was like that you know like centered with the open part but the chair centers with the whole desk which always bothers me a little bit you know but it's okay we can we'll just we'll just deal with it everything's fine um we have to use that desk it's the only way so i will get a computer any like nice cats and dogs lamps yes brianna this house is already base giving cats and dogs do not worry just space game and cats and dogs on this one yeah the corner cabinets are always the wrong color i don't have a corner cabinet in this house but the corner cabinets are a prime example of that they just are the wrong color no matter what you do the corner cabinet just won't be right it's really annoying um should i do it like that no just made up use the sims 3 camera instead of the sims 4 camera the controls are different but it's much better for being able to build uh will make your life so much better i can assure you it's the sims 3 camera that i'm using okay that helps that is nice let me look at some like cats and dogs wallpaper i mean wallpaper paintings is what i was trying to say that one's nice should i stick like this thing in the corner does it come in like a beige no fine can you be white then i don't like this very much so let's thank you for the 15 months tiana thank you for the bits serious question if rapunzel's hair gets cut off and tangled then why does she have hair at disney world is there i don't know what rapunzel looks like like the costume character rapunzel but i mean that's interesting you make an interesting point would use her instead at the disney parks so i think the downstairs is good for now i'm going to furnish the upstairs just so i can get more done i also want to stick a desk upstairs yes the curtains we're only using the base game in cats and dogs on this build so our options are somewhat limited unfortunately uh which is annoying but i don't i don't dislike that couple different paintings i'm not going to put a cat tree here i want to put a cat tree in front of a window i'd rather have a cat tree somewhere the cat can actually use it then put it in some random hallway where the cat can't use it um we already have a tv room go go there's a big informal tv room there so unfortunately i'm not gonna put another tv up here i think you can only have two so many of them you know i think this will be fine though i'm just gonna leave it like that i'm gonna be honest i don't really care what the hallway has in it you have a cat tree in your hallway yeah i am nothing wrong with that but i i'm just saying i would prefer to put the cat tree somewhere where the cat can make the most use out of it there's already a fish tank not gonna put another one there's already one there this is it's short wall height upstairs and it's tall wall height downstairs okay so the family there is a child age son and they have a toddler age daughter so we're gonna have to decorate these two rooms for the kids then we're gonna have a big guest room and then we'll have the parents room and then a playroom or something that's what i'm going for okay this will be the toddler's room i want to pick something kind of fun um opinion on houses that have a tv in every room well nothing wrong with doing what you want in real life i think that's a little bit silly in the sims though because they don't actually they won't actually use them you know like if you want to have a tv in every room in your real life house more power to you go for it but i i don't i don't know about that in the sims you recommend seasons hands down every time you'll hear me recommend seasons over like anything else i am always pro the seasons pack can i make this ottoman like white yeah that works maybe like a mirror in the corner i'm just thinking like that's a good spot for one you know stand check your outfits check your look but yeah seasons really transforms the game no the window's not a different color it's the lighting um it i don't know if i can fix it but they're all the same color swatch um it's just the lighting that's making it look like that it is not a different color it's just a weird lighting glitch um anyway i think this season's like changes the game literally like it just it makes such a big difference having seasons installed it makes everything feel so much more like realistic and fun and like having weather and different seasons affecting your gameplay makes a huge difference um anyway i think a lot of people in chat will probably agree with that one but i that's like my favorite pack for the sims 4. big fan i don't know if i like how that looks i might put some more windows over here that's how the windows look downstairs i guess actually that's the same spot so that kind of does work yeah and the calendar is so useful yeah yeah exactly makes a big difference let's do the guest room this room is such a weird shape it's so long and like large i don't know what to do with it it's so weird maybe we could put like a hear me out maybe like a fireplace and a little like sitting area or something and the bed will be over here because there's so much space but i want it to be a guest room like a second bedroom because i know that when your sims age up they'll need an extra bed and this way um evie won't be stuck with no it won't this isn't like evie's room but at least this way all the sims will technically have a place to sleep once she ages up you know oh i can put the cat tree in here too why is there a cat tree in the guest room i like it i think it's a good once in your restaurant um i think we've all been there at some point i am sorry that you had to deal with that though in your restaurant it's like a chain reaction yeah one by one they're all just going okay um no i don't like this didn't like trying something else instead oh that works maybe i'll make the couches blue nope tables are white in this room this is a like a big second room like this considering it's like not the parents bedroom it's very large but that's okay uh maya we're playing uh the sims 4 on saturday for our rick astley stream i'm gonna try and play the 100 baby challenge um i want to try and speed run it that is my goal at least i don't like how that looks can i get a different bed swatch maybe i'll use the darker the brown no but the thing is none of the furniture is brown like it doesn't for 12 hours yeah i might stop playing halfway through and like do something else if i um feel like i can't do it anymore you know sometimes you get to that point where it's like i've been playing the same sim save um for six hours i might like switch over to something else but i intend to play mostly the baby challenge so uh no not at normal time oh dear god i'm not gonna go from 4 p.m to 4 a.m no no no no no no um i'm gonna stream from 10 a.m to 10 p.m on saturday oh my god i am not streaming until 4 a.m no no no no no no all my mods are like no that's i've heard of people doing stuff like that like having a spare room it's like the pet room um i don't have that but that is kind of a fun idea i mean if you've got the space in your house like then you've got the space in your house you might as well embrace it um there's a litter box downstairs i don't want to put a litter box in here because i want this room to be happy and cat poop isn't happy isn't your office also your pet room i mean yeah that that's not true i have a lot of toys for snap in here but i wouldn't like call this a pet room but i like i keep a lot of my cat's toys in this room because i spend a lot of time in this room you know um it's not like this room specifically is a pet room i just hang out in here a lot so i keep my cat's toys in here so that she will also hang out with me a lot but that's the only reason um all right i think i want to leave it like that i don't know what else to put there's another chess table down there how many things do i need to put on these pad like there's so many balconies and stuff let me go like that i don't know just leave it we don't need a ton of furniture then i was gonna just put wallpaper up here and then leave it pretty much unfinished the attic because theirs wasn't either um so i'm gonna leave the attic pretty much unfinished we have a we have a planter box why do i need an easel you want an easel on the thing on the balcony i can put an easel off the parent's room we already have planter boxes downstairs somewhere i don't think you understand we have like so many rooms did i walk for the guest room yeah um people wanted crates up here the other day we were talking about oh there's like that's funny um those are from get to work there's the ones that i was picturing using but i can't because i'm releasing no i didn't keep the vet room i i didn't like the idea of there being a vet room here you know i probably should have but you can't put the vet machine in the attic because then the pets can't come to it like the pets won't be able to use it if you put it in the attic so there's no point um it's not a three-story house this is an attic it's just a really big one it's just there because of the roof um the original house had an empty attic too um you know what i like it they're lucky they even have a door and a ladder up to it because i wasn't going to put one um it's for storage it is for storage i don't want to like again they didn't furnish it they have this is such a big house there is so much usable space in this house they don't need an attic too i think i think it might be done how much does the house cost oh good question 233 thousand oh boy um wait so it's four bedrooms and there's four bathrooms i renovated the delgado family's house in brindleton bay oh no then you can replace the original one and then it'll look a little bit better um why does the family have the issue when no one is vet or owns a vet well do they have the vet skill she might not run a vet but she could be like a home vet yeah um she has level four of the vet skill um so there used to be vet stuff in their house but not anymore because i got rid of it so um god could you imagine if you could buy all that house for 200 000 in real life i'm gonna show you the original now i'll go take you to show you the original but god could you imagine if for 230k you could buy that if only um i didn't get the first comment i know i didn't even try don't scream at me it's too late leave me alone i'm ignoring your comments on purpose because everyone is yelling at me about it calm you can see the inside was so empty like it's so big in there and so empty so ours is a a serious improvement i feel like you know lane but thank you for the six months cal thank you for the prime sub but look at how big and empty this was yeah there's a lot of wind sounds in the background i think because of the waters right there yeah you can hear the wind and the waves crashing and everything um it is a very windy day today so anyway um this is oh they're older in this safe they've because i've been playing in this safe so they've aged up a little bit um but yeah this is the original version it's very large and very empty like look at this bathroom it's just so big and empty the little rug looks so sad right in the very center this one little tiny circle looks so sad um no it's not like an ugly build it's just sad and empty and way too big like i they're they had a really good like idea for it this this house had a lot of potential um but it's you know they were going for something and they were almost there it was just too big i think that's a problem that happens a lot to them but that's okay because like they wanted to build a big house so that people could live in it but also wait look the two pet bowls so far apart on either side that's so weird but like my house is big the house that i built the renovated is still big um and it's not empty it's still massive there's still so many rooms so yeah i'm playing starting music in the background yes indeed yes i am playing starting music in the background um cora i don't know who built and furnished these um i i know that like the environment team used to work on them um but i don't really know much about like who builds them and how it works so well the stream on saturday is at 10 a.m meds yeah people who sim gurus build them i like people who work on them but you might not know the sim guru just so you guys are aware um i know most notice most some you might not um the sim gurus that you see on twitter is in everyone who works on the sims only some of them like want to have public twitter accounts you know um so there are a lot more people that work at ea behind the scenes on the sims so like it could be somebody that we don't know that built the house you know because they might not have a twitter account um but just so you're aware um there are a lot more people on the team than than sim gurus on twitter so why are you sorry maya what do you mean um but i think all people don't realize that it's a big team it takes a lot of a lot of people to make a game like this so lots and lots and lots of them yeah only some of them have twitter accounts um no leave them alone kristin they might just not want to like be on twitter i mean you keep in mind this is their job right um and they might not want to have to like be on twitter at work 24 7. you know like they're they're allowed to like clock out at five and go home oh i guess they work from home right now anyway but like so they might not want to have that like extra thing on top of their regular job um and that's cool too like they can just do their job um and a lot of them are like public-facing and like really involved with the community which is good but um the poor sim gurus get a lot of hate on twitter too so um and that must be really frustrating too when like you you're they get this hate that like isn't even for them like i'm trying to think of an example but like people get mad like why don't we have horses in the sims 4. what is wrong with you you suck and it's like i don't get to decide what we make i just work here and that poor person has to deal with like everybody yelling and then they're just like i don't know i worry i don't that's not my job that's not my choice but then they get yelled at it's like this misdirected anger you know um that is unfair but yeah and also like the price of the game like yelling at those poor sim gurus about the price of the game that is completely out of their control they have absolutely no say in that at all like you your issue is with ea and like the higher higher-ups at ea it is it is not the fault of these poor random developers you know um it's not their choice they didn't decide the price um but like understandably so it's a very expensive game worthwhile of complaining about um i just feel bad when people like direct their hate as like personal attacks to sim gurus because it's one thing to be like gosh the game was cheaper like to make the game cheaper another thing to like yell at them you know you know what i mean but anyway um the house i think the house turned out pretty nice i like it i like the pool i think the backyard is pretty nice this would be a really fun spot to hang out like the pool right on the water like this yeah i felt bad for them about the two because like i think a lot of them probably knew that a lot of the community wouldn't like that pack but it's not their choice and they got told to make it so they did a lot of them you know um but also a lot of the developers on that pack really like star wars and that was probably like a like a career highlight for them getting to make like a star wars sims pack like getting to combine these two things they love was probably like one of the their favorite things i've ever worked on and it sucks that like one a lot of us didn't like it but two people were just so opposed from it from the beginning you know like we really didn't want that star wars pack and that's not their fault that's just because it doesn't seem like a good fit but like um i don't know i bet the people that made it had a lot of fun making it so especially if they like love star wars how cool would be to get to make a star wars game if you love star wars like but i don't know i like that pack is just useless for me personally like i just don't care about it at all but some people like star wars you know i just um it's not for me but they didn't even send it to me early they knew it wasn't for me they didn't even give me early access they're like that one she doesn't want that she's not interested um but anyway laura thank you for the 12 months abby thank you for the two wars games now which is kind of fun because i think they'll be better this way i only like one ea game i'm only interested in the sims i don't care about that other things um so anyway lettuce thank was just an unfortunate situation all around um and also i it's just it's like so not up my alley i have literally no use for it there's like two items in it that i like i mean well i like the flooring in that pack and there's a couple plants like i like this plant i think this is a nice plant but the other things i don't care about this plant and this swatch um that one appeals to me i kind of like this one too like she's kind of nice and then the floors are nice but the rest of it do not care not one bit at all but like this stone floor pretty good that stone floor pretty good this one pretty nice you know why don't we have these kind of nice plain stone floors and like other packs look how nice that is it looks good but anyway those are like probably some of the best floors in the game and i i stand by that you're some of the floors are in that pack because you want them but you don't want the pack yeah exactly it's so sad if you want these nice stone floors well better buy batu i think it's good that they did that though it's good that they added a couple useful things it's good there's like two useful things also the you know what the round bar is kind of interesting too where is it um yeah like the idea of a rounded bar is kind of cool like i'm kind of into that i don't like the texture of it that much but i i like that it exists i think that's a fun one i wish it was more usable for like everyday builds and the picnic table yeah yeah wait picnic table some of the lights are kind of fun i've used these lights before like i've used them in this swatch before so those are nice where's the picnic table hello hello hello oh see that's kind of cute too but the rest of it i like the one that has the carved things in it that's kind of fun for like if you're making a park or something to have one that people carved into and one that people didn't oh they're different swatch it why are the why is the top the same but the bench is different never mind i had that that there goes my last nice thing i had to say about batu the rest of it's horrible there goes the last nice idea i had i mean like some of the rest of this stuff like where are you gonna use these it's a very specific kind of build that you need cases of weapons for first order heavy weapons crates i mean it's a very specific kind of build that needs one of those when i made the video on this pack i like went through and i literally drew a line with a fence on the lot and then i was like okay useful things go here bad things i can't use go here and there's like a few things on this message was chat so they got banned because it was their first only message and they were probably a troll so they get banned right yesterday they appeal their ban and they're like i'm sorry i was typing while driving and i meant to say what is the discord but i sent it early and i there's a typo so first of all your excuse to be unbanned is that you are typing while driving and trying to join my discord server while driving no you cannot be unbanned so i wrote back and i was like no don't type and drive stop that's dangerous well then they messed my mods on discords and discord and they're like i got banned for no reason like and then my my ban appeal was denied for no reason which isn't true because i put a reason um and then they got banned in discord too because because they showed themselves to us and then last night they dm'd dan on twitter and the message was like hey i think i saw you in the mods list in lil simsy's discord server um i got banned for no reason can you like help me come back so they didn't even know who dan was and they're like oh you're one of kayla's mods right can you unban me i think that's really funny um i know they mean well and i feel bad that they like got banned and stuff but you probably shouldn't type and drive like now i'm really not gonna unban you like you type and drive you can't be trusted to type in chat you can still watch and listen but you cannot type in chat you have dangerous typing practices um but i just i thought that was really funny that they messaged jen and they were like hey you're one of kayla's mods right i recognize you from the mods list [Laughter] if they're watching right now um i hope they know they brought me a lot of joy you aren't like exiled from the community don't worry i just um you're not like have meat options on the menu like i'm not paying for meat catering like that's just not gonna happen and we were talking about that on stream um and then they made a sex joke that i didn't like about meat um so i banned them but like i didn't see the joke until after i got off stream and so i didn't ban them until like after the stream so they kept typing in chat um during the rest of the stream and they started talking about like shrimp allergies and so when they go to appeal their ban you can see your last like five messages and the last one they said was a shrimp allergy message so when they went to appeal their ban they wrote this whole long paragraph like i am so sorry for making a joke about shrimp allergies those can be fatal they are very seriously it's not something to joke about it's not funny i will never do it again it's like that's not that's not why i banned you but that's so funny so i unbanned them and now they're my favorite people ever so um big fan of theirs that's one of my favorite things that has ever happened so they got unbanned because their apology was so sincere that it just it really it meant a lot to me so i decided to unban them it friend i never met her in person by the way um but i have in my dream so we were like traveling together to go meet him except in the dream she was like scared of meeting him and staying with him at the hotel so they had a room with i didn't tell her this whole story but they had a room with two single beds and so me and so me and tori went to a plant store to buy trees to put in between the two single beds so they wouldn't be able to see each other for whatever reason so we were like we were like buying citrus trees i was like buying a lemon tree with tori so that we could like put them in between the two beds at the hotel and then i woke up what is that what what why isn't that so weird and plus i like in the dream i was very aware that they like already had met and lived together but like this was still happening so i remember thinking like in the dream that this is kind of weird don't they live together but anyway that's what happened to my dream tory i'm sorry i don't know why the audacity of your brain to think i'd need a chaperone yeah i had to shop around tori to her first date apparently her first date with her boyfriend who she lives with yeah i had to chaperone her to came out it might have been like the origin logo and stuff is there a loading screen in your dream yeah could you imagine oh yeah it took like five minutes to load this is called island paradise that waking up and being like wait people had i had a dream about like wearing masks my dream was like about going to the store and like people not having masks on and me being scared or something um so i've had dreams about people wearing masks but i i don't think that people always wear masks in my dreams i don't know you have dreams about forgetting mass yeah it's like the same thing but for me it's like dreams that other people forgot masks and i'm scared to be at the store with them um thank you for the prime step by the way thank you so much um that's so interesting that so many of us have had dreams about like about so many of you have had dreams for getting your own mask that's so interesting like these weird like anxiety nightmares where you you just like where you show up to school late or like you have like a dream where you show up to school in your underwear like those kind of anxiety dreams but now it's show up with no mask that's wild this year is weird yeah i don't forget i don't remember my dreams most of the time um i mostly wake up and have no memory of them i think the whole idea of dreams is just so weird would you stay at the bass pro shops pyramid okay i have to show them now tori so i learned this today from tori where is this building again there's this bass pro shops um pyramid that's a hotel that you can stay in would you stay in it i didn't know this existed until today um but now that i know what exists i i don't look wow isn't that so weird would you stay in it it's in memphis okay well it's in memphis and i um wish my house looked like this so bass pro shops is like for those of you who don't know it's like an outdoor store and they sell all kinds of like outdoorsy equipment like fishing gear and um probably camping stuff pretty sure they have guns there because this is america but um they have a lot of you know that sort of thing hunting equipment and like stuff like that so yeah yeah they have weapons it's such a weird thing to say i hate i hate this i don't want to think about bass pro shops um but it's like that kind of store fisherman costco ew but obviously they're big um yeah taxidermied animals do they have that i don't know why they have a hotel i couldn't tell you why they have a hotel it's like kind of gimmicky i guess i don't know but do you want to stay there for conventions oh oh that's an interesting thought they probably have conventions here well not now they they don't have conventions anymore but they probably do so that's nice for them tori keeps talking about this christmas room thing the other thing tori sent me was of this here i'll show you there was this hotel um here you can have your wedding here they have a christmas room also like a christmas themed hotel room but what excited me the most um was this hotel um that had the this nice room with dead animals for your wedding reception would you stay here how about this hotel look this is an antler chandelier is that not one of the worst things you've ever seen that is horrifying this makes me want to cry peak missouri yeah tori do you live near this place i guess we'll don't answer that question you live oh there was a code red today there was a fire drill today there was blah blah blah blah blah today um and so um i i get calls from their school all the time well i used to be like very rare like when something happened i would get a call from the school but now because of like covet stuff i get a call i swear like every day with covet updates but they're taking online school so they aren't even there in ca on campus so i get calls every day about my old high school like what what's going on with their campus plans for covid and like brett and shanna aren't even there but i'm still on the list to get the call which is so annoying because i get a call and a voicemail like every day from them victoria i see the tweet i see the tweet now oh this is really nice um oh you do follow me and have a profile picture why doesn't it why didn't it show up in my notifications that's so weird um oh that's good news anyway this is really pretty um this looks oh these are really nice i love these kind of flowers also hi maggie these are really pretty maybe this wasn't maybe i was just scrolling past it or something i don't know how but um that looks really nice you did a good job with those um super not interested in food like snap never tries to get into treats um she doesn't try to like eat my human food she doesn't care about that at all i know some cats do and they're like kind of little thieves but not snap however snap tries to steal my toys and my clothes like if i like i don't know put my shirt on the floor and then like i'm gonna change into when i get out of the shower i'll like leave it on my bed or like on the floor snap will like try to play with my fresh shirt that i intend to put on after i get out of the shower that i've like left on the floor she'll like try and take it and play with it it's a shirt but you were like what are you doing why she's trying to help with laundry but it's clean she's trying to help me fold it she's let you put it on the floor let me pick it up for you why'd you leave it on the floor you say your cat tries to store your homework that just remind me of the time that my dog peed on my homework when i was younger cause my dog like peed on my backpack once when i was like in middle school and then my dog like my homework got wet with dog pee and then i like i think i like have my mom email the teacher and be like i'm so sorry the dog like peed on kayla's homework she can't bring it in but how horrible is that isn't that gross yeah oh jess that's so stressful i'm sorry that happened i'm glad he was okay though vincent thank you for the three months my mom told me that pogie got into a bag of treats recently and like tried to devour them all they got him before he could but um i think they believed me probably because my mom told them about it so they didn't think i was lying if you come into class and you're like my dog peed on my homework i feel like they wouldn't listen to you but i was a real teacher's pet like goody two shoes in school so um i've never done anything wrong so they probably would have believed me like i was i was a trustworthy kid um do your cats knock glasses off the counter like a glass of water did they ever like swipe it off because pogie does that my parents cat the black one he's a he'll just hit it off the counter oh i watched a video on tick tock yesterday of a cat doing that to somebody like they were sitting on the couch and their drink was on the coffee table next to them like the side table and the cat knocked the drink off the coffee table all over them and onto the couch isn't that horrible he was just sitting there staring at it and then just went like that and like swatted the drink all over them and onto the couch that's so bad mostly my cat um just knocks it off like the counter the kitchen counter like onto the tile floor so it's not as bad but like imagine your cat spills your drink all over you your nephew does that sometimes the kid does that to you oh yeah that cat knew exactly what it was doing oh yeah it was well aware what it was doing that was on purpose that was completely on purpose you can like see it in their eyes they sit there like staring at you you know and then they um oh the duck drop that person was talking about before yeah that's what i was picturing that's kind of funny sass thank you for the sub thank you so much you just ate dinner in complete darkness because mary kept turning lights off pets and children are demons oh my god the kids have turned lights off and they just start like tormenting you well you're in the room mary come on kids are funny well it's funny to hear about it's not as funny to have happen to you um anyway i had a lot of fun today on stream by the way thank you all for hanging out with me because i needed this you know it reminds me of bags this one time i was in the kitchen with my with my dog my my old dog he he died when i was like 13 but um his name was snuck he was a samoyed and he like walked into the pantry and then i look at him and he had tried to stick his head into a cereal box to like eat the cereal but he got the box stuck on his head because he put his head into like think a skinny cereal box this dog put his head into it and so he like looked up and it was still on his head so i had to go take the cereal box off the dog's head oh my god what was he thinking it's kind of funny but it's a good thing i was right there because like what if he'd hurt himself but he got it stuck on his head no so bimini used to jump on the counters jakey um my dog bimini she used to like leapfrog onto the counter she's a rottweiler she used to leapfrog like jump completely all four legs standing on the counter sometimes which was not a good behavior but kind of funny um but she like hurt her knee really bad earlier this year like at the dog park or something i forget how she hurt herself but um she had to have surgery uh and then she could barely walk for a while um so no she does not jump anymore she still got a bit of a bad knee so um but she's okay but she can't jump like that anymore unfortunately um which is sad but she hurt herself now to get surgery that isn't that dog she had a tumor on her head as a puppy that she had have surgery to get removed and then she had this like knee thing this year she's like five or six though um but this is that's an expensive dog she um she's had her her fair share of scares um with her like she has a giant scar on her head too from the tumor um which you know it's kind of funny looking on her it's kind of cute um but she's been through it this poor dog um she doesn't deserve that she's a nice dog she's very sweet but vimy i remember um she had that tumor on her head like that happened like like in the first like six months we had her um which is terrible oh my god shannon that's horrible i'm glad the dog is okay but it's so scary when your dog when your pets are like sick and hurt and like it just it feels so bad it was so hard to like after she had the surgery and like how she had like kind of limped around and couldn't really walk and she had to have a cone on her head and it just you feel so bad for them the poor dogs understand what's happening either and just it sucks it sucks so much and also because this happened like during the pandemic um my dad had to bring her to the vet and then just like drop her off and leave her there outside like he couldn't even walk in with her um which i'm sure she was okay like it's not that far that he could have gone with her before she got taken to the back but like it just it's it's hard to on like us to have to like bring your dog in for surgery and then just like leave her out at the front door of the vet you know what just this sad poor puppy you don't want to just leave her there um but luckily she was okay but but obviously he couldn't go in right now because the pandemic they're trying to like limit people that are inside the building so like they trade off the pets outside so that no one actually goes in except people that work there um so oh that's really sad christine that sucks um oh yeah i bet hello flame some some animals like really do not do well with going to the vet even like traveling at all like my cat does not like to go in cars she gets so scared and i i feel so bad because like sometimes i've had to like take her to my parents house like for example when there was the hurricane last year i went to go well i guess it was like two years ago now almost but we went to go like wait out the hurricane at my mom's house because i didn't want to like be here alone with my cat during a hurricane so me and my cat went to my parents house um to like stay there during the storm in case like we lost power or like anything bad bad happened you know i wouldn't be alone but like i hated having to bring her there because the poor cat's like miserable doesn't want to have to drive there doesn't want to be there because there's dogs there like i just i felt so bad skye thank you for the prime sub and it sucks you can't like explain to them you can't be like oh don't worry buddy it's just for a couple days like it's gonna be okay it's just a ten minute car ride it's gonna be okay like you can't even i don't know you just wanna tell them so bad and you can't your poor little friends um sky ari thank you both for the subs by the way thank you so much your dog's old vet had an elevator and your dog loaded so much you know what i don't my dogs have never been in an elevator oh that's so interesting i never thought about that but like how would they have been in an elevator huh they wouldn't understand how that works you like go in one room and you come out in a different place that must be so scary your dog loves them oh that's so interest oh your dog hates them yeah i've been an elevator with a dog before because the airbnb we stayed at in san diego for twitchcon last time um was in like a big tall building and then they had like dogs in the building everywhere so um a lot of times we'd be like going up the elevator to the apartment and then there would be dogs in the elevator and that was kind of fun i will take any chance i can get to see a little dog there was a german shepherd which was fun i like those your cat loved the car my cat does not like the car i don't know what my the other cats are like in the car i haven't been in a car with pogie or lemon pogey's kind of skittish though i bet he wouldn't like it um lemon lemon just hangs out lemon is a very friendly like nice cat like he he anybody like your first time meeting him he'll like flop overly pet his belly like cats are kind of weird they don't do that really but lemon he's like oh hi a human pet me he just rolls over he kind of acts like a dog in that way yeah it's cute though um but he's he's a nice cattle and he's a nice cat um your kell is the car as long as you're by her yeah when i went when snap and i went to my parents house um my mom like came to get us and then like i drove and i was like holding her on the carrier in my lap you know and i felt so bad for her and then my mom like stopped at cvs on the way um and so we were like sitting in the car and so i let snap like out and she was like looking around and she was so fascinated by like she didn't like the act of driving i think that scared her but like looking around the cvs parking lot was like so fascinating to her because she's never seen a thing like that before so she was like like looking around she was like shocked what is this place what are these things it's kind of funny um oh mars that's so scary um i'm so glad your dog is okay ate a popsicle stick and have surgery to get removed yikes yikes um i'm glad they're okay thank you for the four months um yeah pets are funny when they get to explore outside of their little small world they have um but anyway my cat is my friend my best and only friend so i think i'm gonna find someone to wait in a second by the way um we fin i don't know why i just saved i didn't change anything your cat is 20 years old nice um snap is 12. like 12 and a half my cat is i want to go find somebody who is playing the sims probably um but alex it's true the only person i interact with is my cat i don't interact with anybody except for my cat the only person i interact with is my cat what does that even mean okay i want to raid someone playing the sims you know what we haven't raided rachella in a while do you want to go over there you guys know her you love her um let's go say hi to her it's been a while i think and she's playing um generation nine um she's it looks like it's harvest fest look i'll show you i don't know what she's doing but we have barely any house um
