with a 5.2 liter V8 gas motor and she's rough so I actually reached out somebody and said hey I found this truck let's throw on it and they were like oh that was the Old Ranch hands truck so this is what they used to drive around the property to work on stuff apparently it ran back in the day not no more I mean like everything is Rusty I actually even showed this one to junkyard digs because he was looking for a Mopar motor and I was like this thing's got a 5.2 liter V8 but man it's Rusty and he was like I'd rather have that van so already good as new I'm just gonna scrap this thing it's pretty bad problem is it only has three out of four wheels I'm gonna get that wheel back on I I don't know if that's the right bolt pattern I'm hoping there's a wheel on the ground and a wheel missing there but that wheel doesn't match these wheels but I'm hoping that will just like bolt up so I can roll it I found another cool vehicle which also is trash foreign [Music] well maybe not total trash because the bumblebees and the hummingbirds love it this is a 60s or 70s International lodestar and it's pretty awesome but it's total junk I think everything would need to be rebuilt the problem is I actually kind of need a freaking dump truck like it'd be nice to have around here but this thing is so rusted out like so much junk I mean it's got a freaking tree growing out of the hood I don't even know if there's an engine in there because I can't mess with it because this bush is full of bees and I don't want to you know make them too mad but I mean there's just he's everywhere all over bumblebees and Little Bees I assume there's an engine I can see a giant radiator and it just looks like they used to use this thing then they parted it out like there's no doors or glass but it's pretty sweet I mean super old school this thing I think they only made them from like 1962 to 1978 based on a quick little internet search so this thing is old I think it's not fixable but like maybe it's yard art maybe someone would want it to put their you know sign on it in front of their business or something like because it is an old school cool truck I don't know though I'm not sure what to do with this thing first things first let's do a little work with the backhoe all right not the right bolt pattern of course you're not that would be cool okay we're doing it without four wheels foreign stuff I found a wheel back here it has no tire but a wheel with no tire is better than no wheel dang it it's innate lug five lug okay never mind back to business what sucks is I totally know that wheel is on this property somewhere but it could be anywhere [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] 1988 Dodge Ram d150 needs minor work otherwise like new for sale now no low balls I know what I got load up bad boy not not doing very good I also didn't think that I don't have a key so the steering column is locked and the wheels are a little bit turned inside I think I'm just gonna have to get Forks on that thing and set it down here I just didn't want to do that because I figured I might mess up these fenders but looks like I'm not going to have any other choice because this thing also won't go out of park so the back axle is just dragging even though we have no wheel here it's actually better there's the wheel on the other side this is Dragon these front tires are not doing anything to help and my winch is just dragging a big immovable object and now it it won't go anymore okay we're gonna do it the hard way actually probably the easy way it's just it's gonna possibly mess on my fenders dump the bucket picking up the forks now if I if I can't lift this thing up with these forks I don't really have a plan I'm hoping this will work [Applause] [Music] dude that works so freaking good good job I should have started with that that was like a million times easier and it didn't touch the fenders I was able to like set it down gently like right in between them great it's so good getting off will be interesting but it's great I'm gonna load every car like that like you know 68 Camaro breaks down the intersection I'm just gonna pick it up and throw it on there piece of cake okay I have a problem uh after I turned the camera off I started calling places because I don't know where to take a junk car like this every single junker in San Antonio that I've called which I've called tin it's freaking 8 50 in the morning now I've just been calling calling calling they all are like do you have a title like of course I don't have a title like they want to make sure it's not stolen and I'm like listen if you saw what you would see it's not stolen but they're like now you gotta have a title which we don't have it's gone like this title was probably lost 20 years ago so now how the heck do I get rid of this truck I just put on my trailer I was just planning on driving it on San Antonio and some guy paying me 200 bucks for it because it's worth metal but that's all it's worth No One's Gonna fix this thing up all right I'm gonna dump it back off the trailer put it back where it was okay I just called somebody and they were like nah if it's smashed up we could take it and I was like yeah it's smashed up stop yeah it's uh pretty smashed up all right I want to actually see if this thing will lift up that International Dump Truck because if it doesn't I have no idea how I'm gonna move that thing does not want to roll come on okay she might have a little bit of damage ain't no way oh yeah my Forks aren't long enough to get under it it's Just Gonna Roll It but maybe I can back it out a little bit nope this thing is so heavy this thing won't even try to move how the heck am I gonna move this thing I tried a little more off camera and that thing is just too freaking heavy to be carried by this thing I can move it I actually lift it up most of it and then I use the back claw to like because I once I lifted up the thing I it took a bunch of weight off the back tires because I had so much weight in the front so I didn't have any traction so I put the claw down and I pulled backwards as I was lifting and that got sketchy real fast so I think that thing is just a little overloaded for this thing probably have to get some I don't know some wrecker to come in and take that thing out all right anybody got any ideas other than the Wrecker that one's staying for today but I'm gonna get back to what I was trying to do a few videos ago and I want to clean out the whole Pond Giddy Up Partners starting to rain in Texas which is great because it actually has been dry for like three weeks we had tons of rain the ranch was all nice and green and then it got above 100 for like three weeks in a row with no rain so bring it on [Music] foreign [Music] it's a new day as you can see about this beautiful sunrise behind me and let's take a break from the the backhoe and the pond work and all that to show you this building this is one of the biggest buildings actually it is that is the biggest building on the resort now that the main building burned down and you've never been inside it I've been decided several times this part is fixable this part is not this part is not you'll see this building on the map is called the quail Canyon Lodge and Conference facility so it's basically kind of like a ballroom in there it's got a big this main Center unit is a big open room for events for weddings for business conferences whatever and then the buildings off the side they're attached the pieces off to the side um there were a bunch of other stuff but they're pretty bad let's go in the good room first this is actually pretty cool so a giant echoey Ballroom in here when we first came I didn't show any of it um so there were chairs everywhere in here all those tables like it's made to be set up for any kind of event so people I'm sure would come rent this out for their business events or for weddings that kind of thing you can see there's some Garland hanging up there there actually was a stage and then there was a Christmas tree on it so the last time this thing was used probably Christmas time back in the early 2000s but it actually has held up pretty nicely the roof on this part must be pretty good because there's no water damage anywhere in this room that I can see I mean there's some cracks and stuff but it's from like you know just being open and moisture would come in here for years but no like running water through the ceiling which is really good what is this is a bathroom there's so many buildings and rooms in here that I can't even remember where I bet just a closet with some oh that's AC some big stuff going through it oh my gosh look how full that is of goat poop yeah we'll just leave that closed but cool wood yeah they're nice yellow brass fixtures as everyone in the 90s did it's a cool room and I think we'll be fairly easily fixable I really really like this room okay let's check out the sides of this building you're gonna love them because we walk out of the room it's like wow the lights are on here oh no there's just no there's there's no roof yeah so these um adjoining facilities I don't really there's like I think they're meeting rooms but they're kind of weird kind of gross white I've never been in here why does this weird little closet go further the world may never know and then you go further this way there was a little gym well this is just like a little closet I think I think this was a storage closet here um back here was a gym I know that because there used to be some rudimentary uh weight sets in here like real bad this room has not had a roof on it for a long time you can see it's just just gross falling down also I haven't seen it oh just why would it be a bathtub in the gym yeah it's gross this this half this is like the if you're looking at from the front the right side of the building all bulldozed we'll probably keep the slab but the rest of it uh it's not worth anything let's check the left side I'm sure it's better Central Ballroom you are saving grace but I'm sure this part is fine let's see men's restroom over here no big deal but we got two urinals and a stall so that's pretty cool over here we have a woman's restroom and they're yo there's a body in there um has it there's a dead Ram looks I mean you know I don't smell them so it's not like in the last few months but probably probably within a year this guy died he's just pretty much hair and horns and Bones now anyway that's in the women's restroom uh we're just gonna leave him so good luck ladies and this is the spa so this place was called the Guadalupe River Ranch Resort and Spa so obviously if this is the spot means it's pretty nice which it is here's another bathroom I'm scared to go in bathrooms now because freaking you know ran oh sauna dude this would be the tightest sauna ever it's eight feet by eight feet probably which means yeah it looks like a lay down sauna so like you're you're laying next to another naked person cool um giant bathrooms over here giant stalls is this a girl's bathroom or guys got some showers it doesn't say I wonder if it's just either oh no there's another one over here I have not explored this yet yup oh my gosh that's so much goat poop if there's a body in here in the dark I'm gonna freak out hello oh my gosh if there's a body in the sauna oh dude there's so much go poop in here and something's fresh dude if there's a live go in here if I freak out even more okay please don't be a party please don't be a body hello okay we're good yep let's get out of here and this part is a bunch of little rooms which I assume were like each like their own little private massage areas I would guess there's I don't know like eight rooms I don't think these are meeting rooms yeah this has to just be all little massage areas a shower let's just go poop and dirt everywhere and then back here looks like sauna steps over there I don't know back here we got a little massage table which is still nice I'm gonna clean it up everybody will definitely want to use this that is the tour of the spa there's actually one more room that I have not ever been in I've been back here and kind of peaked in everything but I've never been upstairs let's get upstairs you have to go outside also while we're here there's a pool this is the second pool on the property you've probably seen it from the drones but I don't think we've ever showed you this pool um a big pool three feet to seven feet and then really a lot of yeah a lot of space that building looks great that's that's where you get your massages at here guys open air these are the stairs I've never gone up because there was a tree blocking it's actually called the oak room but those are tree blocking it so I could never get up there I had some chainsaw guys out here they cleared it so we can actually get there now it's kind of funny that the Oak Room was blocked by a tree an oak tree so that's going up this is uh my first time up here as well so this is above the ballroom here's the reason the ballroom is looking good because we still have a good metal roof so I think it's a room someone could stand but I'm not sure oh it's huge oh that's oh don't do that wow it's Giant this is cool which way do I go first Bible back here I just don't want to find a person okay A little attic cool close that oh that's creepy okay I don't know if you could actually like rent this room I think you could though oh this is cool oh the windows are open so it's gonna be all squishy right here too sweet thermostat so they must have had a little table here they have a kitchen in a what the heck is this why would there be a door here [Music] this is the smallest little kitchen opening ever and you're cooking two feet they're asking to burn down this place please don't be food oh what is that rat poop jeez you vent the floor there oh this is so weird this was just like an attic space that they decided to the bathroom's bigger than the kitchen you messed up this was definitely just an open attic space that they were like let's just go ahead and put a room up there why not this is actually pretty cool though I like it I think it needs some reworking like and maybe put the kitchen knot in the closet but overall the oak room is pretty neat okay I just wanted to give you guys another little piece of this Resort so you can start putting it together in your head what the heck I bought back to the pond [Music] okay I think I'm I think I'm done oh we got a lot of dirt out of here I just threw it all around the edges actually ran out of room and so I had to bring the backhoe out and start pulling it all away and then filled up the edges again but you can see how I scraped all the way down to the rock bottom so this is all Bedrock down here it's not just a bunch of rocks it is a giant Solid Plate of rock which should be pretty good for holding water I would assume and there's a some shelves so like right there you can see it's like a three foot difference that's because there's Bedrock up here and then it just drops and there's a hole here um which is cool because this is a good six feet below the top of that uh rock wall over there so I made a little swimming hole this this all used to be about four feet higher and we just pulled it all out so Doug IE down in the middle and then toward the edges probably about two feet of dirt you can see we got some like big lumpy Rocks coming up and then there'd be another hole and I try to just kind of get in wherever I could started hitting uh some like softer Rock here some caliche and it was you know scraping that right up but it's solid kalichi over here on this side but solid bedrock and the whole part over there it was cool I got a lot of hours on this thing it probably took me I did this over multiple days probably took me about six hours in total to dig down it was kind of hard trying to follow the curves of the rock because I kept running into shelves like that and this thing is not going to break that up you need like a hammer to break that up but dug it all out I think it'll hold water pretty good because it's solid bedrock and then it kind of just goes that way and turns into just a little Hill on that side so it'll be real shallow on that side deep on this side and then there are some I don't know there's cracks in the wall and so decent chance that you know we'll get leakage through those cracks nothing worse than a leaky crack you guys know what I'm talking about and so I can see that later we'd want to come rebuild this wall some places the wall just fell down but I just kind of wanted to dig it out for now because I have a feeling they dug all this thing out 20 30 40 years ago and made a good Pond and it has slowly filled up with dirt over the years so we dug it out again it's sweet now we got to turn water on but we have a problem that pipe is how water gets into the pond and it comes right back here to this little well house which is possessed by ghost apparently and you know I might at first glance go great and of course as well is not going to work but there's a water hose that runs over to this water trough oh my gosh there's way more fish in here than I thought actually uh water is definitely not on right now the water trough was on recently I gotta figure out why it's not on because all these fishies are gonna die this is how you shock yourself [Music] sweet yeah there's no water pressure I hear it now water is moving our hose is Flowing cool we have water pressure again I don't know why that thing flicked off that's a little pump saver cool there you go fishies we got water coming away so as you can see our well works it has a pressure tank and then the well pump down there yeah it probably takes a bit for actual pressure to build up in here because there's no actual booster pump but this is our problem right here there's a hole where there should be a pipe and I figured out why where did it go oh here it is this valve has a huge crack in the side of it so that valve used to be right there it apparently busted in a freeze someone came in replaced it that they didn't ever hook it in to there because they were like what's the point we'll just leave the valve closed so I need to reconnect that valve to that pipe okay I just sat here watching this thing the trough is full but the pressure only went up a hair oh I have a feeling something might be not working right now well okay nevermind there's a lot of pressure in there everything's fine all right I'm gonna try to get this pipe pulled out of here and then see if we can oh okay that was easier and hot I need to tear yeah I actually I can do it I could probably just take this whole thing off and just screw that right in there I'll try that first the wrong part off though slip joint I think I'm just gonna omit that let me take this off [Music] pretty sure that's the correct way to do it I'm just gonna douse it in WD-40 let it sit for a little while and then I'm not sure if I get that apart I can make it work if I can get this apart I can make it works I just need one of them to come apart but for some reason uh hammering with a shovel is not working right now so maybe it just needs to be 40. so I'm just let them sit come back in a second and see if any of that oil has helped found a bigger wrench and bigger mussels did I tell you I hit this with a shovel didn't do anything you get a shovel no yeah there we go that felt right I just need the right tools and 400 pounds of man let's see if I can find some red wasp in here almost done here we got it off got it on the new pieces now we're tying it up we'll turn the water on start filling up our stock pond these goats are going to be happy to have a freaking Pond to drink out of Moment of Truth okay it's dripping a little bit but it's flowing a lot of it yeah buddy how cool is that that's so awesome dude stuff like this is so cool like I feel like this Ranch is just slowly getting life back into it this used to be obviously a really nice stock pond for all the animals to come use and it just hasn't been for a long time but hopefully after a few days of this it'll fill up again I have no idea how long this is going to take but probably a good bit but there's like 40 sheep out here and they have that one little bucket to drink water out of so if that thing just like it was goes dry if that Well turns off they have no water so this would be cool plus we want to get a lot more animals out here I really want to get horses out here I want to get some cattle I want some interesting weird animals too so over the next year I want to start getting a bunch of cool stuff people like to come see I want you to have the Texas experience out here be able to just be a cowboy for a few days this stock pond is going to be part of that and you can go swimming it's the watering hole this is so cool all right we're gonna let this thing run for a little bit we'll come back and check it it's gonna be like four days and it's gonna be three inches tall and be like all right let's let's go swimming look at this though beautiful beautiful so good freaking abandoned Resort coming alive the Waterford stock Pines been running for one hour look what we got a beautiful Muddy Pond this is gonna be great uh I know a lot of comments are gonna say shouldn't have taken out the clay because that's what holds the water in this is not clay this is dirt and from my research this dirt will not do anything to hold water in so I think the Rock's gonna be good enough we'll see there you know there's ways to line stuff with actual clay I don't know if that caliche over there would help to keep water in or not I'm not really sure but it's only in that little corner over there otherwise it's all this soft brown dirt which from my research lets water straight through it but looks like we're holding water we got one hour's worth of water going in here and it's looking pretty dang good so far so we'll give this another day or two maybe we'll have a freaking stock pond my master plan here is to have this fill up with water so that all the Sheep want to come in here because there are a lot of sheep but they free roam this property they're actually there's not even fences on all of it like they could go across the river and run away if they wanted but they stay around here I would like to kind of close them all up in a pin so they stop going in my buildings and pooping in my buildings that'd be ideal if I could just get them in here so I'm hoping this will lure all the sheep in here and I come and I close the gate one day that reminds me to put gates up because there are none all right we're gonna come back and check out in a day or two and see how we're looking it has been running for one day and we've got that much water what do you think link it's cool right you ready to go swimming what this is this is a pool how warm is this water whoa muddy it's pretty warm it is 107 degrees in Texas right now it's like the worst time to be trying to fill up this thing because I'm sure a lot of our water is evaporating but it's getting there it's probably about a foot to 18 inches deep in the middle there in the deepest part and it's slowly slowly filling up well is still doing good how cool is this going to be when it's like four feet deeper yeah and way wider when it goes all the way the edges this is freaking awesome all right go swim go swim come on jump in you gotta jump on that island that looks like a muddy Island go for it yeah I think you totally should don't slip don't slip I don't know come on send it I'll give you
