don't shooting shows brought to you by Mordy what stuck it will unstick things that aren't stuck and it will stick things that are supposed to be stuck Artie what's stuck your go-to lubricant hey guys welcome to another edition of toed shooting show sponsored by rd1 stuck and you can see I've got two sets of dies there and I'm also having a lot of fun with this product and it's more satire than anything I've talked to a lot of people that have had very good luck with it so it's more for a sense of humor than anything else you know so I stuck a die with one of my 3006 --is and I didn't put enough on it because if I put enough on it it wasn't stuck but anyways I had I've been having fun with it with the advertising and hopefully you found that that new skip ad at the beginning a little bit funny but I've got another set of dice now so I've got my seeding die out here and normally this is where I do all my work but if you look at the thermometer this is my old painting thermometer from back in the days when I was in the refinishing business and we have a temperature of about 70 or we have humidity of about almost 70 and a temperature of a hundred degrees and this would have been a time when your paint would have dried very quickly if you don't know what PPG stands for it spits Pittsburgh paint and glass they're the largest manufacturers of glass in the world pretty much so brought my reloading inside I've got a little lead turret press here another seating Diana it's about 75 degrees in here 70 degrees very comfortable and we're going to be doing a little bit of load development with these yugoslavian had stamp 88 these are the heavier you know the heavier brass so this will this will provide more pressure than a factory Hornady case or Remington or any of the other just garden-variety cases that you and get for reloading these are actually had the machine gun belt mark still at them very good brass okay so I've prepped all of these primer is a CCI number 34 they've all been trimmed to length bullets we're using are the 155 serie to match Kings and we're gonna do a little comparison I am our 4350 and reloader 17 have almost identical burn rates so my charge weights going to be fifty three grains so I'm gonna load up ten of these with 53 grains of IMR 4350 and chrono um and then I'm gonna reload to the other forty with real order 17 I'm gonna do a group with both to see which ones grouped better I know that both of these are fairly temperature sensitive I think this one is more temperature sensitive than this one but this this powder much like the IMR has an ability to provide excellent velocity while keeping the pressures low okay the number 34 primers top-of-the-line for service rifle and military style cartridges you know these are the work very good out of the grand and much to do about the Sierra tipped match kings well already has been doing those resin tip bullets for a long time and they've got the e Aldi's and all the other ones out there so when when Bryan lits did a study of these and he's comparing the Sierra tipped match King to the sierra matchking in the hundred and fifty five grain weight he noticed that there was very very little change at all and the B C's but these do have a BC of around five hundred if you keep them over say two thousand feet per second okay we have two powders here look at the kernels of the powder around the left you know notice that they they look like they're a little bit rough slightly porous and maybe not exactly cylindrical exactly they're a little bit random in the way that they're cut and then we'll take a look at the powder on the right this powder looks a little bit more cylindrical maybe even a little smoother on the outside so which one of these do you think would meet or better through my RCBS they look pretty similar don't they so you can ponder that for a minute the one on the left is the loader 17 and the one on the right is I am our 43 50 and even when I use bar get the it seems like the the thing will cut kernels you know and you'll get every so often the hang up and then all of a sudden when you drop it back down you get a heavier charge the next time so for this load development we're going to be trickle charging all of our loads and upon reflection here this powder is a little bit slow burn so I'm not going to be able to run this in the garand anyways I don't wanna so this is going to be for my unfilled and 3006 Springfield to the 1903 and we're gonna trickle charge the first batch so that we make sure that we have accurate charge weights so if we have good results then we'll go and we'll meet her off whatever we want after that because there's a awful lot of a modal load looking good and the last one goodbye sometimes the handle catches on the way up I think this one's gonna be heavier later let's see so when the handle catches on the way up you get heavier Church how much of a difference in grains is that that looks like that's going to be 50 for Savior yeah that's uh 3/10 4/10 of a green this is IMR 4350 the one on the left as 53 grains the one on the right has 54 grains no where'd the powder is up to in those cases and these are all the same cases now I'm going to move those off and put the real loader 17 out in there that's 53 grains and this is 54 grains you'll notice so hopefully you can see that you can get more of thorough loader 17 in the case obviously because it's filling up the case less so you can get more reloader 17 in a 3006 case then you can I am our 4350 that's kind of interesting it's funny if you notice where the powder went to these are not compressed loads at all go much higher charge if you'd like but for these service rifle these old these old guns and get some nice blinking rounds up to 600 yards anyways I was gonna be shooting up to a thousand I probably crank them up a little more these are three point three zero five so you got thirty just metered at fifty four grains and for a loader or seventeen and we've got trickle charge fifty three grains of IMR forty-three fifty fifty four grains and we've got triple charged 53 and 54 overload or seventeen I normally I run right up to the range and I give it to you all in one video but you're gonna have to come back for another edition after this one because it's just too much information for me to get in one video so thanks for watching if you liked the video give me a thumbs up and if you're a new visitor hit the notification button for new videos that I'm going to be doing thanks for watching
