Relearning Minecraft - Nether update - 🔴 Live

[Music] hello this is danby and welcome to a another live stream uh today kind of carrying on with my re-learning minecraft series where i'm reloading minecraft and oh she's off oh she's got what she brought me have you brought me a really gross destroyed christmas pudding toy you have who's a good girl bringing me horrible dog toys oh it's my fault she's all settled on the bean bag and then she as soon as i say hello she's all excited again you can tell she's actually quite sleepy we just got back from a walk so if i'm a bit sniffy it's because i got really bad hay fever so like i was fine all day and then went for a walk and i came back and i was like like crying and stuff so sorry for a bit sniffy i'm fine it's just hay fever oh yeah you want this don't you we've got to do something for it we should make you do let's make it let's make it a little spin shall we spin spin there we go you know you're putting back uh i can't believe you today alex i am playing minecraft so i didn't kind of mean for this to to happen but it kind of worked out quite nicely where i started a series where i was trying to learn about all of the new updates that have come to minecraft and i did a few streams and then the never update just popped out yeah i feel kind of bad because i haven't been keeping up with like the the updates or kind of like watching the the mine cons and stuff like i kind of didn't really know what was coming uh or like when it was coming like even like when this year or if this year it was coming out so i feel kind of bad for the people that spent like a whole time waiting for it i just got very lucky at the the time when i decided to get back into my craft this like big really awesome looking update kind of just popped out of nowhere so um uh yeah we're gonna uh yeah we're gonna be checking it out we're gonna be carrying on in the the same world uh that all of the uh the other streams i've been doing have been in uh so of course i need to get to the never first so i'm gonna need to to get a diamond pickaxe so i can get the obsidian uh so then i'll be able to to head to the the i haven't looked in too much so i looked in a a little bit in terms of um like what's in the update just having a little scroll through but basically just like a list like i've just got the list here and it's like soul fire soul torch soul lantern soul campfire crimson and warped fungi shrumite crying obsidian chain lodestone like pig piglen striders zoglins and hoglins so yeah i've basically gone through just like the the list of uh of what the the stuff is uh but i haven't like looked in any more than what it is like all i've seen is i loaded up a a new world just to get like a a screenshot for the the thumbnail so that isn't in this world uh i don't have a full set of oh what's the armor called uh never right armor i don't have a full set of never right armor yet but who knows maybe by the end of the stream i will i probably won't yeah but maybe i will it's like it's like a new best type of armor so uh it'll be really cool to hopefully uh work towards that uh right before we do that let me say thank you to a few um uh donations that have uh have come through uh and then uh yeah then we get straight into the the gameplay i've already got i've already got it loaded up it's all it's all ready to go we will be beginning shortly uh oh michael manic welcome back to the the stream ask how i'm doing i'm doing good as i said go be a hay fever a little bit sniffly apart from that i'm doing good so i probably sound more ill than i am but i'm not ill at all um thank you as well to uh to pro craftinators who's currently building lovely world out of lego that would be a very big lego project i'm assuming not the whole lovely world right like that would be a that would be something else to build the whole lovely world i'm assuming you're building a section of lovely one love to see it when you're done though feel free to send a picture probably tweet it would be the best way for me to see it i think it's wrong to her to margaret rose who sent an emoji of a dancing pair as well as a zoe for becoming a member uh michael wobham says uh whoop another stream my sentiment exactly i i knew the update was coming out today but i didn't know when it was gonna be and i don't really like streaming much later than now so if the update came out any later i probably wouldn't have streamed today so it's very lucky i got the the stream in uh canon gay says are you happy that wiggly worms works on bedrock i am that was actually one of the first things i did when i moved my lovely world over to bedrock was to check if wiggly worm worked and wiggly worm does work which makes me very happy and i said wiggly worm a lot of times thank you for watching as well as a milkweed who says groovy tune stamps i assume that was from the uh the intro music that was uh that was play i think it's ronald julian who says lovely world is the best series i've ever seen well you'll be glad to know that it will be returning soon i actually designed a new mini game today do you want a spoiler draw the spoiler i don't know if anyone won't be able to work anything out from this but here are the dimensions of a new mini game it's going to be a big end because that's 45 blocks anyone guess what the mini game is going to be about what it's going to be using uh you probably can't from that picture to be fair like i don't think anyone could work it out but uh yeah that's what i spent the whole day doing today uh was designing it so there's a sneaky preview and that's not even the first mini game that's going to be the second mini game that i build when i return to lovely world so there's a lot like it's going to be mumps until you see that and you can be like ah i was one of the 6 000 people that was in the stream when he first showed that off you've been having a privileged preview thank you to uh to aviation who says loving the vids recently uh which is nice thank you i think it's well to uh tequila who just says yo as well as a flip jungle and a squat legend who says uh thanks for making my childhood great uh trailers and movie says can you make a sequel to her to cat to the future didn't you ask that the other day and i kind of said that basically every episode since then has made a sequel to it like it'd be way to do a direct sequel to it because it's been so many uh years but i guess every lovely world after it is kind of a sequel uh thank you very much to tech tree uh as well as a daisy hall who says have you had any thoughts about joining hermitcraft i said someone asked me about this the other day i don't really know what hermitcraft is properly uh so probably when like i don't really like doing things with other big groups of youtubers i also don't really like playing with mods and i think that's kind of what it's about so uh yeah probably not fall for me i'll carry on doing my own things but everyone seems to enjoy it uh thank you as well to uh to andrew as well as bree frames uh bobektor and uh justin who says uh will you go to glasgow one day i have been to glasgow already so the question should be will i ever return to glasgow and the answer is maybe i've been to edinburgh much more than i've been to glasgow because when i visit 4j studios as well as some friends i have a from scotland some of you might remember afrodance from uh from greenwich in scotland oh yeah i i fly from southampton uh to uh to edinburgh so i've been to edinburgh a lot i've been to dundee a lot which is where the art studio for 4jr not been to glasgow much i've been once though uh anyway should we play let's play some minecraft shall we i love the way you could just see like just the back of alex's bum in the background she's she's just here staring at her little pudding toy the whole time while i do that oh hermitcraft isn't modded okay well there we go that just proves how how little i know about it it just sounds like one of those like mod packs doesn't it like that you always uh that you always see uh hermitcraft uh right then so yeah here's his here's what we've got so far for those haven't seen my progress so up there is where i am going to be beginning production on a giant mansion that i'm going to be building and originally i intended uh to be doing that in my next stream from my last room that makes sense like this stream was going to be me building that mansion but then like the never update popped up and i was like yeah if like the this whole big new update just came out on minecraft and like i'm there like building a little building on top of a hill everyone's going to be like super upset with me and oh no where'd the toy go oh is it stuck oh no oh i don't know if you can hear her like she's like whining where's your toy where's your toy bring it in where is it it down there is it behind the boxes where is it alex where's your toy where is it where is it is it back here how did i throw it here did you boop it there is that what happened is that what happened down leave it okay oh it's gonna get stuck again she loves like she loves like putting the toy like she'll go and she'll chew next to the sofa and then she'll boop it with her nose and like knock it under the sofa and then be there like whining like oh oh my toys under the sofa can you get it it's like you put it under there you did it on purpose then we'd like reach under get the toy out and then she'll be like oh yay the toy oh thank you so much and then she'll go and knock it under again and she really should do it like five times in a row first we're like oh is it a coincidence that she keeps knocking it under there but no she knows what she's doing i think she's like it's like her way to get attention it's like get the toy stuck and then whine for us to go and retrieve it for her and it works and it works because how can you be sitting there like watching a film or playing a game or whatever and just ignoring like a whining dog like you gotta get it for her you feel like the world's biggest super villain if you don't uh right then uh hello everyone who's just joining uh we are going to be checking out the uh the never update uh but first i'm gonna get to the never so this is a relatively new survival world so i don't have a uh a diamond pickaxe yet and i know i could do the thing where i don't get a diamond pickaxe and i kind of use buckets to kind of arrange it but that's a pain i'd rather just like like get the diamond pickaxe anyway because getting a diamond pickaxe is never a bad thing to have in minecraft maybe get some other spare diamonds to like fully kit out my myself with the diamond armor uh so that's the the plan uh the reason i'm heading over this way is because i discovered the other day when i was going to the uh pillager outpost that there's just a really cool ravine let me show you this awesome ravine oh there it is there's a little bit of it over here hello to everyone who's just uh joining in hope everyone's doing well the chat's moving very very fast right now so i am kind of like glance reading it uh i'm not ignoring you it's just going quite fast no i'm done forget it stream's over [Music] stat see that's why i got to pay attention on the game you see because any time i'm playing no matter what the game is yeah i'll be playing and i'll be focused i'll be like playing for like five minutes focusing on it and then i glance up and there'll always be someone saying why is he ignoring the check oh god stanty doesn't even read the chat see what happens when i try and read the chat i was like oh here's the ravine here it's so annoying did you see what i fell there was like patch of ground water water a little bit of lava water water water here and i was like straight into the lava i lost i so i like organized my inventory to have all of my best stuff on me all of all of my stuff people telling me off of play i'm not blaming the chat i was just yeah i was actually a little bit it was a little bit your fault it's your fault that me controlling the game made myself fall right in the lava right then let's use the uh the bucket strategy then because oh i don't know i don't want to start again oh uh house house uh excuse me there we go thank you house thank you for thank you for borrowing to show up to work this morning right should i just do the other bucket strategy then that i don't even have any like armor in that though oh no this is god's side i got my snappy style boots still go back to my iron sword i made like i made like spare shovels i had all of my arrows on me leave and don't save that would have been an option you know leaving and don't saving would have been an option on the console edition it doesn't work like that it doesn't work like that on bedrock it's always saving in the background one of the things i don't like about it they're like they never have that as a uh as an option i try to think okay i got this chainmail armor which is i think it's like it's all right chainmail it's not that it's not the worst um yeah try to think what the best way to be fair uh i do have a trident as well they said they say you know what this ain't the end of the world guys this ain't the end of the world positive outlook this is this is okay i need to get some more food because i had like all of my food on me sorry pig sorry pig oh my god look at this little tiny horse look how small it is hello you're like it's like you're like a toy you're like a toy horse look at it compared to me that it doesn't even look like it's like a like a baby horse it looks like a toy version of a baby horse adorable you can't eat horses in mike why can't you eat horses in minecraft eh what i think i think it's a bit of discrimination that they look they let you eat cows but don't let you eat horses why why don't they leave me horses hmm why can't i why if i want to eat a little have a little little baby horse or a kebab why can't i that's what i want to know why why and i know that sounds horrible because everyone's like oh why would you eat horses it's like what's the difference between a horse and a cow hey what's the difference i mean in minecraft it's all just pixels at the end of the day it's all just pixels that put up your health bar yeah i i think i think i might stick with my original plan and um so yeah i want to put the food in the smoker right yeah i'm going to stick with the original plan and i think i'm still going to go for the trying to get a pickaxe because um everyone's telling me y'all for saying about that i'm talking about in minecraft by the way like i don't eat any meat in like real life i'm just like in minecraft like this video game why let you eat some animals but not others is what i'm saying and i'm saying it in kind of like a joking way because i do get it yeah so i think that get some food i i think go back to the ravine because to get the uh the never right i need to mine there's like these scraps i need to get i need to get never right scraps and to get the the scraps i need to have a diamond pickaxe anyway so even though i needed the the diamond pickaxe to make the the portal i kind of need the the diamond pickaxe anyway for when i get to the never um and god this could this cook so far look how fast this good this is great uh so i guess i should make uh i guess i should make a pickaxe i can't belie i i the annoying thing is is i was like oh let's go in the world and let me get all of my inventory sorted so it's all nice and ready and i'll get all of the important stuff anything i might need let's get it all with me carefully and then i end up just dying and losing all of it anyway oh like the thing is it's like i'm so torn because like obviously this is like i'm doing this as a live stream so it's 50 50 between me trying to entertain you at least past the time a little bit as well as me trying to genuinely learn about minecraft and do this stuff so like part of my brain is like god that moment of me falling in the ravine was so funny like it's it's kind of amazing for the stream because it was a really funny moment and i'm sure please do this someone's going to send me a clip of it on twitter and it's going to make me laugh when i see it again and laughing at my stupid reaction to it and stuff so like in that part of my brain i'm like oh that was a great thing to have happened but then the other part of my brain is like oh no i had all of my stuff on me that has set me so far back it's going to be such like a a big pain to kind of get back to to where i was going to be so i'm like kind of split in like in a way it was good but in a much more real life and genuine way it's a real big pain yeah and anyone who is just clicking on the stream now doesn't know what i'm talking about uh yeah scroll back the vod a little bit and you're uh yeah you'll see a bit of a disaster that happened but look look how quickly we've geared back up we've got okay armor sure we've lost the diamond sword sure we've lost the diamond helmet sure we've lost the diamond boots sure we've lost all of the wood and the torches and the iron and the other stuff that i had on me sure i don't have all of the food sure it sounds back like half an hour but our spirits are still high yeah and uh i'm sure we'll be able to do this right i'm gonna go back to the ravings i never i know i i know i did show you the ravine but you only got a very like quick glimpse of it while i was plummeting into the bottom of it yeah and it's generally a really cool ravine that i want to to kind of like show off uh for you to check out as well as just being a handy way to to kind of start getting deep down to to diamond level and you know what the like the last streams i don't have any connie's get cold as well like the last stream i got super lucky i said like i want to find diamonds and they basically like showed up at my doorstep so i'm uh i'm hoping that we've got all of the bad luck out of the the way and now we can kind of like get straight into making progress and i'm going to be lucky i'm gonna be lucky again and find the diamonds right i'm gonna not read the chat though because that was my mistake last time i'm not i'm gonna block block you all out i don't know don't even wanna i don't even wanna say i gotta focus on the game in fact can you all just leave for a bit and let me focus on the game because it was you distracting me last time that made me mess up and i didn't appreciate that so no one distract me this time uh let's make let's make some torches now because i'm so slow at crafting i might as well do it while we're in a safer looking area everyone's calling me rude i nearly did it again i really did it again alex oh man i guess it's so hard to see i i think what it is is two things so firstly the ravine is very concealed and in a slightly different area than when i like where i thought it was in my head the other thing is that i'm a complete idiot so the combination of the the ravine being slightly concealed with me being a complete idiot meeting together results in me plummeting to my deaf and lover so i thought the reveal if you see here like you can see kind of the ravine as if it's going like that does that mean anything to you like kind of going that way but like it i didn't think the ravine look how hidden this bit is look see that it's so sneakily hidden there so i thought i was gonna go around and then drop down into it i can't believe oh oh man if i did the same thing again with all because this is all of my iron and all of the chamber this is everything else i had this is all like i lost all of the a tier loop in round one if i lost all of the bb to lou i think i would have genuinely without even joking just ended the stream and just said right today wasn't my day we'd do it another time i think i i don't know i don't think even mr positive stampy cat would have the motivation to do another go okay you know this is really driving home look at the ratio of water to lava as well i'm really driving home how unlucky i was the first time right let's look this throw a bucket down here oh torrent says i'm saving that clip of your reaction of almost falling in the ravine oh dear uh you need to combine never right scraps with gold to make never right ingots yeah yeah that was one of the things i did look up because that's one of the things i wanted to make sure i did do but i need the diamond pickaxe in order to um to mine the scraps so that's one of the things i need to focus on actually there is some gold here as well the diamonds the big thing that we're after that's the the main focus uh oh there's gold in the the never ah that's good i should have taken the i should have taken the water back with me shouldn't i i've just left it up at the the top up there yeah you know i'm gonna get gold from the nether because that one's like wet in an awkward place to try and get to why am i falling so slowly am i like i don't know why this is the slowest i can't wait to drop down you look how slowly i feel like well i put on the brb screen and i'll still be falling still falling i think i think i did it a little bit too quickly i went to swim up a little bit uh hold shift hold shift right uh holding shift i'm playing on an xbox live that's not really going to help uh i guess if i hold crouch i guess would be [ __ ] there we go now we go down more gradually and i can do a little boogie dance as i go dance my way down oh here's some more gold here don't mind if i just while i'm passing oh she wait it's all going to fall in the uh in the lava isn't it let's build a little platform while we're here see it seems i'm going to need a bunch of gold might as well as we're so close just go and grab it i do need some more coal as well oh it's so annoying because i i gathered all of this stuff i had a big mining trip in the last stream and gathered all of the goodies that i thought was going to need and i just lose it all right at the beginning oh wait a minute am i on the i think i'm actually on like a good level four diamonds you know i think i'm at like a good height i'm gonna grab a bit of cobblestone just to build over some of this love oh look at that more gold as well okay maybe uh maybe our luck is shifting a little bit yeah everyone's saying like leveled level 12 best place to get diamonds i didn't realize the uh the ravine went down that deep i guess when it's like just such a straight drop down you kind of don't really realize how far it goes ooh why don't let me place the block there we go oh steady don't like this don't like this oh don't you stay away slime i did have a bow and arrow before but i've lost that now i don't like uh my main fear is getting booped in especially as i lost my uh i lost my butt oh no i do have another bucket of water oh here we go there we go that's the that's the thinking man's way to get across here i just want to go around the revenge to see if there's any like as soon as we're on the right level if there's any diamonds like right down here i mean i do have to be careful obviously actually might be worth getting some slime because slime can be a bit of a pain to get might as well just grab this i think i'm actually quite unlucky as soon as we're on the right level to not find any diamonds like right here so it wouldn't mean like a fair chance i see diamonds i don't think you do there's lapis there maybe you're thinking about the lapis oh wait unless oh is that diamonds there or is that gold i think we go oh is that i thought i think it's gold i know it's gold and diamonds i can't switch it i think maybe i was looking at some wow okay not not bad not bad not bad i mean so that's enough to make the pickaxe obviously having a diamond sword would have been nice as well but i do have that trident which will be uh okay as well because i was like is it gold that i'm just seeing through the water so it looks more blue than it is uh but it was actually a gold there i was lucky first lucky thing that's happened in this stream so far that's for sure uh what is the the seed uh i gave out the seed in the last stream uh i i can't remember what i didn't write it down anywhere but for anyone that did write it down because i know some people have been playing in the same world now uh yeah feel free to post it in the the comments uh and share the seed for anyone else who wants to play in the same world it's not like a particularly great world to be honest it's not like a great spawn or anything but if you wanna and i play in the the same way that i am then you're welcome to do so thumbnail is click bait how's the thumbnail clickbait like that's what i'm doing i'm going to the never to see all of the new never stuff that's like what the thumbnail is like it's always a bit weird doing um thumbnails for live streams because normally like i'd record a video and then i'd be like right let's kind of get a screenshot of what we built or where we went in the video and then show it but in a live stream obviously you're making the thumbnail before the thing so you kind of got to be like okay i'm planning to do this so i'll do that in the thumbnail but then all of obviously things always have a chance to chain change sometimes you can fall in a ravine and lose all your stuff you see those unplanned things happen and so like for this thumbnail for example because obviously i haven't been there yet i didn't want to like cheat and go to the the never in this world so i had to make like a whole new world and just spawn in a never portal and sign in another account to get the earlier thumbnail so it's kind of like it's almost like a bit more of a pain uh right let's get um right what's the smart way to do this then let's get rid of this lava for now just just for like safety reasons actually i should have probably kept some of it but this is okay it's okay let's just do like a little like mixy area here just to keep this uh this nice and safe uh so yeah i'm just trying to gather up obsidian now now i've made the the pickaxe oh is square squids here or what does squid say oh the chat's going too fast i'm sure it's something very nice smells like cheating to me mate so squid why is that just i didn't do it in this world like i loaded up a whole new world just so i wouldn't have to do it in this world right so then oh this needs to be like one further out i think guys this it's been so long since i've done all of like this basic minecraft stuff i'm such a noob now there we go so that i can keep re-so if i keep replacing lava there that's just going to keep making obsidian uh why don't i do the bucket technique well there's no point to because i need a diamond pickaxe anyway to to gather up the those shard things so no matter what i had to get a diamond pickaxe and i think if you have a diamond pickaxe doing this way is easier than like i think the bucket way is only like good if you don't have a diamond pickaxe or like yeah because the the other thing is like i want to do a portal near my house and there's not like a pool of lava near my house so am i gonna have to like make a million buckets and do loads of trips or like how would i do that is the other part so no squid the bucket idea wouldn't have been better squid god i'm struggling to get this lava let's maybe dig over this way a little bit just everything that happens in the game just terrifies me now after earlier okay i can kind of reach under and grab it a bit better right everyone sit sit tiger used to me gathering up lava that's what you're gonna be seeing for a while what's the um what's the the min the minimum amount of of obsidian we need for the smallest portal does anyone else anyone know off the top of their head uh let me know in the chat just so i don't spend too long here doing this 10. i love how i love how so many people know that like off the top of their head like this is my crowd like i wish what i could do is set like real life so it's like all the people i run into real life is just the type of people that are in my chat because everyone's always so nice or 99 of people are or just nice and we all share interest and like the fact that i can just say how many do i need and then like aha a hundred people would just say like ten and it's just like they just know immediately it's like yeah this is my crowd sort of people that just know that of the top of their head right we're halfway there already thank you to uh atlantic mr man gaming who says uh stumpy you were my childhood uh so glad you're back at it again i'm glad i'm enjoying it uh lindsay says that will there be any new series or videos with squid uh like we don't have any um any planned right now but never say never uh we've done a few live streams together recently uh we did um play for a game called human full flat which was really fun so if you want kind of like i guess classic squid and stumpy antics in a very silly game a lot of me getting angry at squid a lot which is kind of what a lot of the old minecraft videos used to be when if you go watch them back yeah so maybe go and go check that out no plans for adventure maps or building time season two or any of that stuff i am afraid as i said never say never but no no plans for it on either of our ends right now i think you two are the stuff of life as well as teddy games says uh stamp you should try don't start i've played don't starve i never streamed it or did any videos on it but i have i have played it uh sorry i i think i missed some donations earlier as well so thank you as well to uh to moon miner as well as jason who says you were my whole right one more we're nearly done guys we're nearly done then we get to the never one more block of obsidian oh am i gonna be safe okay that was scary it was scary so was it gonna be two across two at the top and then three either side is that the uh the smallest pool we can make okay i have ten obsidian so i've no room to make mistakes that will be uh okay right what's gonna be the easy way out of here swim up here i guess we'll probably be the easiest way to get out of here how fast can i like swim up this kind of stuff yeah i think it's going to be quicker than climbing i'd only have like loads of blocks in order to do anything god this is a huge look how tall this ravine is i think it's because it goes it goes up to like i never actually showed you a proper good view of like the outside of this ravine but it kind of goes up to like a mountain as well so it's like a super like extra tall one as you see like i'm like above ground level here yeah look at the way like just goes through this hill it's really cool sorry sheep sorry i'm gonna need more food okay now where am i and where's my hats i think my house is over this way okay scared that was gonna be a ravine then every time i jump like when it's when every time i focus on the chat and i look away from a second i suddenly panic that i'm gonna fall down and die again all these little caves as well uh thank you too out of manning yo said i said uh said i spent a whole summer watching your lovely world videos i think it would take more than a whole summer isn't there like like 600 episodes of my lovely world or something i'm always amazed when i get messages from people that are like um saying that they're just like starting watching lovely world now and like like oh i'm already up to like like episode number 300 i'm like wow like i don't think i've ever watched like 300 or you know let alone 600 episodes of anything like i can't think of any tv show or like youtube series or anything that i've like watched like that much for i guess that's why like the views started to like drop before like i stopped because it's just too much too too much minecraft too much stampede too much lovely world i think i think we all needed like a few years break right and then we could all go back together i needed a break making them and you needed a break watching them yeah now we could we could all return together and uh for those that uh that haven't been here in the last streams uh lovely world is returning i designed a brand new mini game which i'm super excited to play uh i haven't like checked i guess i don't know what i've searched for but i think it's a very um uh a very strange a very unique mini game using kind of like a a side mechanic of uh a new feature added to the game if that makes any sense so you know like say if they add like uh oh we've added uh a block that can do this function say they are they've added a piston and it's used for moving blocks but then people find creative uses for it that like was never considered like it's kind of doing that so i'm using uh an object that has a very definite use but i'm not using it for its use at all in this mini game and it's something that i've not seen before but then again i haven't like i haven't looked up at all what other people are doing so maybe it is like a super duper common thing where am i going where's my house by the way am i going the wrong way i think it's over this way people are making guesses do i mean target blocks do i mean campfires no so it's not a uh it's not a block that was added in this update it was one that was added in a in an update that i hadn't played with much before [Music] and i will say no more and i i showed you uh earlier on the stream this is my my plan for the dimensions but i think it's got a cool like theme as well sorry i'm just teasing here i i need to start i used to do um i don't know if any of you have seen them but on my second channel i used to do kind of behind the scenes videos of me planning and designing my mini games uh maybe that's something that i could start up doing again all right let's empty out my inventory a bit uh i keep this stone on me so i got some blocks to to pile up with uh i guess i'll store my diamond i don't need that anymore so these chests aren't very organized yet but it's kind of okay because this isn't going to be my my permanent home i'm going to be a moving house soon so i don't really care that much about getting it all nice and organized i'm going to like remove and organize it all again anyway so if it's stressing you out maybe that makes it a little bit less stressful knowing that uh it will be sorted out in the uh in the future thank you to uh to carter for the donation as well as uh millie have a few more options you might be a bit of a pain because of this soul sand i'm going to very slowly creep my way forward and just get it to kill itself by bouncing all the arrows off oh no oh anchor and produces purple particles when placed so you could use it as a cool like lighting as well that would be a cool for like swimming pool lights like underneath the the water would be cool so i can use it to make a bastardian rim oh no i can find it in a bastion remnant but i can use it to make a respawn anchor right so to everyone who already knows this but i'm sure that a lot of you are in the same boat as me and this is all uh new to you so a respawn anchor is a block that allows players to set their spawn point in the never that would be very handy for someone who's exploring the nether me right now respawn access can be harvested with any pickaxe uh let's see how we craft it oh so we need uh six crying obsidian and three glowstone to craft one so how do i get crying obsidian without it being traded uh it's it generates as part of a ruined portal okay but then i guess you can always find more by trading thank you to her to miles who says you're my childhood keeper up as well as a hood code for uh becoming a member uh the gaming pro asked what's happening with lovely world it's going to be returning soon i think it's well to um uh to jason as well as well as a neon and uh and hoach as well who says i love my xbox series and uh poke poppy for becoming a member right so don't mind gold in front of them lesson learned oh there's a few googies around here let's just want to stay well away from the ghasts so i'm looking for some of the uh the new structures that get generated that's one of the the main things i want to find as well as some of the other mobs because there's three other types of mobs that i haven't discovered yet i've only seen the uh the moblins moblin dublin moblins whatever they're called i want to find some of the uh the other stuff if i can use hoppers to get stuff from chess that's a super smart idea you don't want to be attacked genius genius i'm trying to continue to to mark the route i've traveled just don't just don't just leave me alone cast i guess i could throw the trident that's a well effective way to do it i kind of always forget that you can throw tridents i haven't got any of the uh the enchantment so it like recalls uh recalls like to you like naturally or anything got myself a ghast here as well hmm i kind of hope i'd have like run into one of the new structures by now if i'm honest i'm just super scared of losing my like throwing it in like the trident landing in lava can maybe look down that way well i guess i'm going down there no matter what oh that trident was very close to falling down in the so what is this what is this we have shroom light so are these just like a light yeah so these are just like almost like glowstone then we've got some other mushrooms down here if i can clear my inventory enough to pick them up so what are these called we have some warped fungus lovely a little bit of warped fungus for breakfast oh no hold on hold on hold on hold on a second hold on a second hold on a second we have another thing how are we gonna get there though maybe go around the uh the forest to get like a little bit lower and then build a cross right it's a oh sebastian they're good clear them all out then i can just loot and play in peace i look they're like shooting each other by accident right who else huh who else who else wants some eh i could hear them they're all angry still that was like a potion that was a potion of fire resistance i've got loads of gas tears as well i kind of need to do like a uh another trip down here i'm getting like so much stuff then what was this other block here let's just get rid of these iron boots i can get them anywhere uh gilded black stone let's go back in my little den and let's uh let's see what that is oh black stone and it's variant i'm just looking up on the the wiki hmm can't find what gilded what does that what does gilded blackstone do does anyone know oh it's it's a decoration i can get gold from it uh craft a crafting table to cro they'll get into ingots okay so it seems like another way to get gold all right let's go uh look in some more of these chests i'm feeling i'm feeling a little bit braver now they weren't they they kind of overwhelm you but they ain't too tough individually so i'm not feeling as long as i stay in these enclosed areas i should be all right chains let's grab some chains i don't think anyone saw me no one no one got angry at me that time oh hello i feel a bit mean to be honest i think it's kind of fair and i like i i have kind of come into their house and i am just kind of stealing their stuff to be fair like ah don't get me wrong i am the villain in this situation oh this looks like a fancy chest i just don't like the sounds of them all being angry everywhere soul speed book isn't some pretty good loot in these places oh apparently they hide under here so apparently soul speeds really rare because i got lucky i hate i hate hearing them all growling at me i don't like it they're all so furious all right see if we can find any uh any more chess while we're here then so what about like this kind of more open area here are there gonna be more more chess around here but yeah using the uh that your hopper idea where you don't actually open or destroy the chest you just take stuff out of it a hot with a hopper like if that works then that's going to be amazing that would be like absolutely the best way to gather all the stuff from them because i said they're not the most difficult enemies in the world but like normally when you're in the uh the never you're in a bit of a a high-risk situation anyway where you really don't want to die so anything you can do to to make sure you stay alive will probably be very very helpful the hopper works apparently the hopper works all right seems most of the uh the chests seem to be in like that back main big area it's a pretty weird layout it's almost like a like a parkour challenge with big drops down to lava underneath you right that was my where i had my little hideout earlier oh i think i can see another chest around the corner there these arrows are oh there was actually a crossbow back there i could try and get the arrows and a crossbow i'm gonna try and just like not worry about carrying with me um stuff that i can get more easily things like the quartz and stuff so i can get them anywhere and kind of focus my inventory on like the the special new stuff that i can only get here i might go grab that crossbow though because that would really help me out against the gas maybe we'll go and grab that when we're on the other way out of here tell you know i'm gonna keep stealing so let's just fight them now let's just get it over with so i'm gonna keep looting all their chests is this the one i found earlier i know it's the same time oh it was an enchanted crossbow here oh it's got unbreaking one on i know more of the uh more crying obsidian as well right what do we get rid of uh maybe the single gas tip break the uh the pig blocks ask what is there gold underneath these is this what you were saying are these pig blocks then is that what they are didn't find any any gold under there they're kind of funny they just got like little snouts on them i kind of want to gather some of these as well but my inventory is just so full up uh let's just get rid of my let's get rid of my iron sword and it's kind of annoying to waste an iron sword but i got the uh the trident after all and like there's only two blocks of iron it's not gonna be like the hardest thing in the world to get more of hello i'll make the gold nuggets into ingots i think i need a crafting table to do that and that would take like so much inventory juggling i don't know if i uh i don't know if i want to to go through that it'd be a little bit too stressful so i'm in like a bit of a weird situation now because i kind of want to keep exploring but my inventory is so full up it's just gonna like it's just kind of getting frustrating when i find something new and i haven't really had a chance to play around with like the the stuff i haven't like with the stuff that i've already got so what i think i might do is i might journey back to the the surface then i can completely clear out my inventory and then i can come back down now i've got the uh the arrows and stuff and kind of try and do a um a more complete explorer than ever and maybe like head off in another direction than where i came here to try and find some more of the the other things because i've got quite a few things to play around with on the the surface as well but because i am so far deep into the than ever i think it's going to take absolutely ages for me to find my way out so i think i might end the stream here try and uh find my way out of the than never while not streaming and then in the next stream come back in maybe spend a little bit of time on the surface there's a bit of a break maybe playing around with some other stuff and then i can return back to the never and see what else i can find speaking of things i can find though loads more arrows which is really really handy and a banner pattern i got a snout banner pattern okay oh more of the uh the crying obsidian some more chains you get some good loot in these places i think it's kind of good that you get good loot just because it's good having good loot and also because it's so tricky to find these places and they're so dangerous like i feel like if you didn't get good loot it just wouldn't be uh worth going to them but i feel like i feel fairly rewarded for all of the uh the hardships i had to go through for uh for getting to this uh this area because there's quite a few different chests in this place as well but as i said my inventory is just so jam-packed with all of the other stuff that i want to play around with i'm going to clear it all out and then we come back down we're heading to the other direction because there's still quite a lot of other things that i haven't discovered yet like i haven't seen um uh the zomlings i don't believe or the striders i don't think i've come across and then there's some of the new generated stuff as well so what i think i'll do is say what let's back up this game now let's go say save and quit so we're we're nice and safe and i'm gonna have a because i wanted to go in a little bit blind for this stream and not really know what i was going to be facing so i kind of wanted just to discover as i went along and i feel like i've done that i've had my reaction discovery now i'm going to read through a little bit more in depth about all of these different things uh that there are and what i can use them for and then in the next stream i can be a little bit more informed a little bit more targeted and to try and uh actually play around and use some of the the new mechanics as well as hopefully trying to find some more of the uh the other things as well so to measure a bunch of things to work out what furniture's gonna go where we're actually selling a bunch of stuff at the moment uh just because the house we're moving into is uh much smaller than this house uh so um yeah a lot of stuff doesn't fit yeah so we're we're having a major clearer at the moment so that's what a lot of my my days are spent doing i think it's worked uh to rama gaming uh as scratching the the surface with some of the uh the new stuff that had been uh added uh in this uh this update yeah that's coming into the stream here probably won't be streaming tomorrow but there's a
