what's going on guys bengal again here coming back at you with another video and today we're going to be rebuilding the dallas cowboys one of my least favorite teams in the league if not my least favorite as a giants fan but we're going to put that aside today and rebuild the cowboys to the best of our abilities our offense has a lot of playmakers the receiving core is one of the best in football led by amari cooper michael gallup and of course rookie cd lam out of oklahoma keeping him somewhat uh regionally based of course out of uh oklahoma so they've got some playmakers in offense zeke of course some great pieces on the offensive line tight end is a little bit of a concern we'll go over the lineup in a bit i think dalton schultz is getting a lot of time there right now but their secondary is a huge huge problem and it's not even just a cornerback and it's not even just safety it's the entire group is just awful in general like that doesn't mean they don't have good players trayvon diggs has potential shinobi woozier i think is a really good player but some of these guys have played very badly trayvon diggs is his name that jumps to mind but we're gonna be rebuilding the cowboys today hit that subscribe button if you have not subscribed already go down there on youtube hit that and let's see if we can do it and i hate to say this but let's see if we can make the cowboys uh perennial super bowl contender brandon carr is back on the cowboys how how did i even know that how did that go completely under the radar he was really just like not good for the cowboys he was just like good enough to stay in the team and start but really was not a great player for them and uh is now back and playing safety at 34 years old that's going to be a big problem for this team as uh let's go over some of the players we're going to want to replace like tyron smith zach martin i think are two of the very best in the league at their position i think zach martin is still a hair above quentin nelson for best guard in the league and i still probably think tyron smith is the best tackle i think he's just the complete package really really like him lel collins in here as well joe looney connor williams probably not getting it done need to move on from them and then blake jarwin dalton schultz blake bell need to move on from those guys as well need like a real play making tight end if we're gonna make this offense as the nymek as it can be i feel like i said as dynamic oddly a weird accent but amari cooper michael gallup of course cd lam is going to play a lot i'll probably start him over michael gallup just to get him the most touch as possible play him in the slot as well behind ezekiel elliott we have tony pollard in what is rico dowdle he was like not that good at south carolina jamie's ola wale in there they're starting full back and of course dak prescott who's probably the quarterback of the future with superstar development 27 years old uh dax is gonna be great for us i would imagine he's had a pretty good year this this year i think he's been in a lot of situations though where his stats are heavily inflated because the defense is so bad and the offense is consistently on the field especially trying to come back a lot of the time but uh dax a high enough overall with a great development trade so he's he should be really really good for us andy dalton ben denucci behind him and then on the defense side of the ball these are where things start to get really bad former new york giant darian thompson he had like 14 picks i want to say at a boise state but bad player brandon carr xavier woods who i'll probably start over darion thompson i'm not sure why he's not already because he at 77 overall who is one of the younger players on this defense can develop into being a good player so we're going to start him i don't know why he wouldn't be starting and then with the linebacking core i love leighton van der esh and jalen smith they're great players jalen smith was so fun at notre dame before i think it was an i don't it wasn't acl tear it was a knee injury though and then with nerve damage maybe it was some type of an acl there it was a knee injury i know that usually that means acl but for some reason i don't remember it being that sean lee is super old and not good anymore defensive line this team brought in everson griffin dontari poe tyrone crawford still here and of course demarcus lawrence is one of the better edge defenders in the league aldon smith in behind him they drafted bradley and i later in the draft i thought that was a really good pick tristan hill is starting to become one of the dirtier players in the league antoine woods neville gallimore rookie out of oklahoma as well along with cd lamb um maybe we'll move him up a little bit and then of course uh randy gregory dorance armstrong junior quarterbacks we've got shinobi woozier jordan lewis daryl worley anthony brown and maurice kennedy it's not a great defense it isn't cd land we're going to have in the slot this is the way we're going to shape up specialists why aldon smith is a rusty tackle i may never know but i guess we'll leave him in that role that's odd to say the least uh we'll have jordan lewis in the slot over toby woozier who is his best corner i want to leave him on the boundary and let's go ahead and simulate to about the mid-season mark probably about week seven i can always trade someone if i need to i'm not going to do any trades right now i'll do something just before the mid-season mark depending on where we are with expiring contracts so i just didn't stop the sim i happened like really fast we're three and five which is not where you want to be dak is an impending free agent need to offer him an extension everson griffin i don't want woozy i want um damn i wish i would have stopped the sim and traded uh everson griffin i'm not sure what his value would have been it probably would have been okay xavier woods antoine i mean a lot of these players are so borderline that i'm not really sure i think what we're gonna do is start off with the guys i'm like completely sure about doc prescott is honestly not even that expensive in this scenario we'll give him six years bump up the money very slightly and dak prescott is back long term should obuzier absolutely need him to return he's also not too expensive we're running a little bit low on funds though already so we're gonna have to rework some things and i think that means letting some guys go like maybe everyone passed awasier and jordan lewis jordan lewis should come back he's not particularly expensive and is pretty good so jordan lewis bring him back and he returns as well all right that's all we're going to deal with for right now we'll make some other decisions at the end of the season and it doesn't really look like this team is poised to make the playoffs as in real life only what one in three the entire nfc east is an absolute disaster as we will upgrade let's do linebackers for jalen smith and leighton van der eshe and we will simulate to the mid season mark how's the rest of the nfc east doing eagles are five and three giants two and six football team two and five and it is playoff time i think we're gonna miss him honestly yeah this is a team that missed the playoffs and lost to the giants in week 17. final record would be seven and nine which i think is probably realistic for the cowboys based on their start the offense was quite good eighth in yards although the defense i imagine let us down 13th in yards not too bad better half of the league 17th in point squared about average and then in terms of points allowed yeah 28th one of the worst in the league so it seems like the defense was really the downfall here dak threw a lot of picks although not really a bad year for him rushing zeke was very good only six touchdowns though tony pollard had a lot of those uh tds on the goal line i imagine so a little vulturing of zeke maybe amari cooper and cd lamb with very similar years mari cooper with four more yards on a few less catches and then cd lamb with one more touchdown on those more catches so very similar blake jarwin was okay michael gallup had a pretty decent year defensively we have leighton van der eshe was amazing 115 tackles six for lost two sacks two picks very very good 18 sacks for or 18 tackles for loss for aldon smith who also had 11 sacks unreal demarcus lawrence 14 for loss with 10 and a half sacks wow that is very interesting interceptions two for lve anthony brown chubby wuzzier and twofer xavier woods force fumbles where are we with this one for a handful of players safety for one player at least and then a defensive touchdown for anthony brown figure that's probably a pick six in there with daniel jones winning mvp of the 11 or should be for the five and 11 giants on what planet would they give mvp to a qb of a 5-11 team what could he possibly have done and i'm not exactly a huge daniel jones believer but this is his mvp year 4 100 yards 33 touchdowns eight picks rushing he had five touchdowns on 172 yards that's the mvp on what planet no way i mean is that you're better than matt ryan better than jared goff better than drew brees certainly not how in the world did daniel jones win mvp i have no idea looks like giant's playbook might be the move though like i don't i don't even have words for that that is unreal we'll simulate to the off-season check back in there in a moment also alden smith is 280 now what was he coming out of mizzou and there's no way it was close to 280. uh let me see alton smith missouri he was listed at i can't even find it i can tell you on pro football reference he's listed at 6'5 255 so he put on some weight and i don't want him sean lee went up to stardev but i don't really want anyone in here uh with the exception maybe being xavier woods 26 years old we don't even have the money to offer him a contract what okay interesting who's eating up most of our cap demarcus lawrence and i mean doc we had to extend that wasn't really an option so is it just demarcus lawrence who has a monster contract zach martin is a monster contract so does amari cooper okay there are a lot of them i didn't realize these guys signed huge extensions smith is a big contract but he's a left tackle that makes sense zeke has a huge contract l collins has a huge contract jalen smith wow okay okay okay everest and griffin's gonna clear some anthony brown is gonna clear some blake darwin's gotta go dontari poe probably has to go sean lee is gonna clear leighton van der eshe needs to get extended this team has no money oh my goodness a lot of those players are gone though so i'm gonna be extremely interested to see where we are for the start of season two with money we're not in a great spot negative 650k in cap room right now but let me see what i can clear we're gonna cut don taripo i'm gonna cut randy gregory some of these guys are just too bad to have like no penalty bigger cat pit it just doesn't make sense to keep them who else needs to get cut we need to like fill a lot of these spots with our team there's just not a whole lot of money to go around anthony brown has to go has to go big penalty though we can't really do that right now i don't even know what to do with travon diggs probably end up playing him over anthony brown maybe i'll trade anthony brown i'm saying anthony brown a lot oh they drafted reggie robinson he played corner at tulsa i forgot they got him he was actually pretty good there i wonder why they like him as a safety more up to 5.45 mil desmond king is an available free agent he would be extremely valuable jack barrett doesn't help us desmond king is the one player i'd like to get but we're not gonna have any money to go after there's just no money there's no money uh we can't even offer that so 50 total points is the best we can do and even then there'd just be no chance just gotta figure out is there anyone young enough we can develop it's gonna be okay trevarius ward is a decent option certainly not darius geiss no so the only guy went after was gianno smith who ended up rejecting couldn't really offer him a lot just you know threw something out there see if he would stick and it did not leighton van der esh we have to pick up his fifth year you know just give us one mir one more year to figure out our money and we're in a tough spot michael gallup's gonna be probably someone we're just not able to retain unfortunately and that's a really good player really don't want to lose him but i'm not really sure that we have a choice dolphins on the clock at number one we pick at 13. probably not going to be a whole lot of room here to navigate the board but we will see what's available make a move up if we need to that looks like a really good defensive tackle that would be extremely helpful at a very weak position all right so unfortunately this is not a very deep class for the secondary or even strong class i should say the players in the secondary just really just aren't all that good so even though i really want to improve our secondary unless we get like tracy osgood it's not going to improve but he might be our pick at number 13 provided he's available there are some good players in this class i think our best bet might be to trade down it just kind of depends what's available we're not trading up we'll see what's available at 13 and make our move from there all right we're gonna take tracy osgood here out of florida state 6-2 he's got great length only 180 but he is 21 years old a lot of time to develop him we know he's adept in probably both man and zone coverage based on his archetype being slot it's not man or zone type but we see man coverage at b minus so i think he's gonna be a really good player for us tracy osgood welcome to the team number two in the entire draft only normal development unfortunately but a lot of time to develop him 92 speed 74 man 71 zone 67 tackle this is a guy we could develop as a safety if we wanted to he does have pretty good speed he has a size that is capable of making him play safety even if only at 180. so we have some versatility there maybe the number 41 makes me want to move him back to safety not really a cornerback number how many good corners can you think of that have warrant 41. dominique rogers cromartie i know he wore numbers in the 40s mostly uh 45 but i think he maybe wore 41 one year he wore 41 with the giants that's why i remember that i can't picture any other cornerback wearing 41 and being successful though but a weird little tangent might want to move up there are some good players still available i'm just not sure we have the draft capital to do so second third fourth and seventh all right terrible trade here for the packers as they are trading number 26 for blake jarwin who to be fair is better than any player you could probably draft at 26 in terms of overall uh based on a 66 overall cornerback just one two fourth round picks one this year one next year and that is just one pick away just need the bears to not take both of the players i want and they actually took neither so i cleared the cap of blake jarwin and that'll roll over to next year and then i want either matt brown or david jones and what do i value more a center or a linebacker i think david jones is a very good player i think matt brown's a very good player his uh pass reps are pass reps what his uh reps of the bar 225 at the combine uh for the bench press not pass press a little bit weak tyler biodosh is not going to get it done there but also dwarfs are doris armstrong jr is an edge rusher he's not a 4-3 outside linebacker at all we need we need a lot of players we need a lot of help man we really do jordan lewis could even move back to safety so that's an option for us where's he with zone coverage 74 maybe we'll keep him where he is i don't know i think i need to take the linebacker here just best player available in my opinion especially kicking him outside to play left outside linebacker i think that's the best move for us david jones welcome to the team only a 73 overall he'll jump up to like a 75 76 maybe at best case scenario at left outside linebacker he seems to be quite good as a player 71 zone coverage is very high block shedding is a bit low his speed's crazy high at 88. he will play left outside linebacker for us really not a bad player guaranteed that center's gone here at number 13 in the second round almost certainly and he is we're gonna take earl swartzen here out of louisville looks to be a very good center we need a center very badly and he is 73 overall ranked number 14 in the class took him at 45 only normal development but that is madden 21 in a nutshell solid addition to our o-line though that's like almost what plus 10 on what tyler beatos is what was he 63 65 something in that range i'm gonna take i think kirk mincy here he's just i think the best player available for us 21 years old out of washington 63 266 he's a speed rusher type so he's more of a defensive end in our current scheme might play him at right end depending on how good he is hopefully pretty good obviously 71 overall ranked number 29 took him at 77 81 speed 73 power and finesse moves and block shedding and hit power he's 73 everything pretty much can't cover at all but we don't need him to those attributes are showing up like he's a linebacker and he isn't for us he's going to play defensive end he's 266 so he's heavy anyway he can easily do that and uh we're going to change that number from 47 tell you that much all the way to round seven now all of my uh draft board players are off the board i pretty much have nobody that we've even scouted that are even good at all so i'm not really sure what we do here take tevin weaver random tackle with a high bench press that's my first terrible reach of the draft but you know seventh round pick had nobody scouted what did we expect yeah cd lamb is an 84 overall now same overall as michael gallup and he's got superstar development he's gonna be playing over michael gallup who i honestly should trade i just know he's going to be so expensive and even though it's not a player i want to trade because how good he is and he's very shiny you got to give him credit there he's got the shiniest face i've ever seen but he's got an expiring contract it's going to be about 10 mil probably to resign him for 660 yards and five touchdowns i got i i need to trade him as much as i don't want to i need to oh jalen smith up to superstar dev and i want to move what mincy down to right end so we got to trade anthony brown at some point this year osgood who's got the oldest most wrinkly face complete opposite of uh michael gallup he's gonna play safety probably should play him at free safety i think we need to get him on the field some way he was the best player available had to take him and he will be indeed playing free safety i think they gave him what um who is 28 for the cowboys darren woodson yeah darren woodson wore 28. so uh yeah maybe he's gonna follow in his footsteps only a 76 overall free safety but you know still not as bad as it could be and anthony brown's going to go trevon diggs is going to step into that third quarterback roll if i can get a first round pick for anthony brown that would be incredible i think that's all i'm gonna do right now so i have stopped the simulation here at week seven and we are six and one team's balling out now i will upgrade the players and unfortunately as i mentioned before i have to trade michael gallup we just don't have the money and we have two great receivers we just don't need michael gallup and i told you i don't want to trade them but it's just the right move i am going to double check just to make sure that michael gallup wants like eight mil or more a year is this the most we can afford yeah i mean we we still don't have any money i need to trade them okay so michael gallup is on his way to jacksonville florida we're trading michael gallup darian thompson in a third round pick for a first round pick and then i think will richardson just needed him to keep our roster size big enough he's only 47 right now of 53 and then anthony brown needs to be traded big first round pick acquisition for us and i might end up trading anthony brown and a first run pick for a higher first round pick maybe it's not possible to trade anthony brown i looked at so many different options uh just no one has the cap space and that's what is killing us right now and i don't really want to resign anybody here at the moment like maybe connor williams at some point we just don't have the money and that's why i could not afford to keep michael gallup so we're working on figuring it out and i will so anthony brown actually has two years left i can just trade him next year or this offseason i should say so i'll actually look to do that and we'll simulate to the playoffs looks like we have a good chance of making him this team has had a big turnaround provided we don't have a terrible second half of the season but we are here in playoff week and it's the first round bye fourteen and two okay so we like to see fifth best offense in the nfl dak didn't do anything overly impressive so zeke must have really put the offense on his back but it comes down to the defense now third in yards seventh and point scored so the offense was highly effective and then defensively third in points allowed the defense is coming alive no playbook change so i find that a little bit odd but zeke rushed for almost 1700 yards and nine touchdowns receiving cd lamb 69 catches nice 850 yards seven tds seven for cooper nine for dalton schultz who's uh coming along pretty nicely leighton van der esh with another very good year no picks for him though but 12 tackles for loss for tristan hill 11 for kirk minsey i think played a lot of defensive tackle by the way jalen smith rushed off the edge a decent bit at the time he had six sacks which would be second on the team as kirk mitzi led six for demarcus lawrence only four for leigh and van der esh the stats look entirely different from last year and the playbook did not change at all david jones with a pick the rookie out of georgia nice little sec talent in there four force fumbles for the team any defensive touchdowns none that i can see and we didn't get any show me a lot of good stuff for weekly award or yearly awards here ryan tannehill wins mvp of the 14 and two titans kaepernick at second with the broncos nfc offense player of the year jimmy g daniel jones at two nick foles at two look at these look at these records no one's better than 500 until you get down to fifth and then after that no one's 500. these records are so odd defense player of the year aaron donald that makes sense he doesn't really win it enough honestly for how good he is uh in madden and no cowboys offensive rookie of the year jonathan lincoln no cowboys defensive rookie here david jones kirk mencia two tracy oz good at four so the rookies were balling out big part of why our defense was so good the lions are eight and eight and made it to the divisional spend some coach xp i don't even know what i can get receiver maybe but i don't want that we can't even afford it tight end for dalton schultz i might just wait on quarterback see if we can develop dak into uh like a 95 plus would be nice we'll simulate against the lion see if we can beat them and i think we should be able to and we do 37 17 and now the falcons who went 11 4 and 1 better than they usually do by a lot i've made it to the conference championship and i think i can just barely afford the quarterback xp upgrade package and i can the training boost and this should be it man one more game a win puts us in the super bowl super bowl i think 56 at this point and we have made it it's gonna be cowboys bills this is i believe oh not i think they just missed the bills lost four in a row i think the giants were responsible for two of them you know the cowboys might have been the other one actually uh and then um yeah they were cowboys and the bills played in 1993 of course the cowboys won the final score was 52-17 and the bills that year won 11 games cowboys won 13 so not really much more crossover than that but let's see if we got any development trade upgrades here in super bowl week as i'm feeling pretty confident about this game um cd lam up to superstar development amari cooper of course at superstar x factor he is now a 98 overall with morale he's looking very very good i don't see any offensive change oh actually actually dalton schultz is up to a 76 overall with morale and star development so good for dalton schultz show me a bunch of stuff on defense that i can be happy with interesting i i'm sorry i'm at a loss for words here it looks like david jones got a development trait over the course of the season okay so he won defensive rookie of the year but he hasn't played the amount of snaps required to show his development it reset to zero you know why that's that's so funny the reason that happened is because um he just got star development this week so they haven't started tracking his snaps because he hasn't played any with star development that is actually super funny but he's an 81 overall star development love to see that we're gonna hop into the super bowl in dallas we have home field advantage in the super bowl only in 85 overall bill's at an 83 let's get it done let's win a lombardi here in season two oh no we're in of course the uh navy uniforms and i think the dark uh uniform teams have only won the super bowl like twice in the past 20 years something wild we are down right now to the buffalo bills by a score of 14-10 but we're gonna retake the lead here i think it was just before the start of the second half but the bills are not going down without a fight they retake the lead but we retake the lead just as quickly before they tie it up it's 28-28 and now with a minute and 14 remaining we're gonna jump into the game it is fourth and ten fourth and ten we're going to have the uh kicker just kick that tie things up at 31. as the bills try to drive down the field we're going to step in here from midfield a field goal would essentially win the game at this point we need to make a play let's go ahead and use her the rookie jones out of georgia fake the rush and they're targeting me it's an easy read user pick one fish two fish redfish blue fish goodbye bills you're gonna lose the super bowl easy reads yeah i saw that one coming from a mile away threw right at me that was the bait in the switch and we should be able to win the super bowl here as long as we can get something going on offense but it doesn't look like we're going to be able to we got to get it to cd lamb i'm i'm fine with the check down if he can run after the catch when he's wide open he's wide open make somebody miss cd we're gonna have to call timeout here 19 seconds remain not really in field goal range yet it'd be a long one but i think just playing it safe and running the football here is the right call with 19 seconds to go we're just gonna fight forward stay down the middle call a timeout 14 seconds remain probably could even run the ball again that's exactly what we're gonna do zeke falls forward to the 33 making this a pretty manageable field goal now the problem's gonna arise when i get iced which i will be getting iced and i'm not sure i can hit a 50-yard field goal while iced i just don't think i can do it they're not gonna even bother with a timeout the kick is down the middle and good 34-31 is your final as the dallas cowboys this pains me to say but i'm the gm of the cowboys now so it's what i want dallas cowboys are super bowl champions sean mcdermott josh allen and the bills are going to walk off 18 t field disappointed and losers cowboys have won the super bowl and we're going to go ahead and get into the off some potential big re-signings to make some big free agent signings depending on what money we have which doesn't appear to be much so free agency might be a little bit boring and then the draft this team is still far from perfect i'm shocked we won 14 games i think it has to be a product in the playbooks i'll show you guys no forced wins in case you care even though it'd be a little bit silly i don't force wins ever who cares it's like the video is not gonna do better if i win three super bowls or or zero uh madden sim is usually terrible and i don't think it was that great as this team went 14-2 to be fair but i'll take it super bowl championship can't complain and again of course if you want to check at the schedule oh you foolish wiz that's how you at 142. that's how you went undefeated in the playoffs of course the only one where it says home or even away is the bye week and then in the postseason no force wins at all either and played one you saw me jump in some sometimes people were like yeah you cheated you did this you did that you're you're thinking too much it's not that deep we're just we're just rebuilding and simulating man yeah we just don't have any cap room i can't resign chris jones i can't resign connor williams we just can't do it we have no money for free agency our contracts are just overloaded right now there's really nothing we can do so his name is eddie edgar he ran four three eight okay man as far as i can tell this draft class is really bad it is uh not good two synonyms didn't need to say both but it's for emphasis and then there goes one of the players i wanted to take malachi pippen who's a 78 overall and then the other safety i also wanted is gone as well so now it would be a receiver which there's no point there's no point in taking that um i do not want to spend this pick but i'm not doing it okay big trade here trading number eight anthony brown who i mentioned i was going to move on from in this offseason and a second round pick number 64 overall for number 10 projected next year from the jets number 17 this year and then a fourth round pick next year as well so i think that's a good trade for us getting two first round picks one this year one next year we are trading uh back a little bit but there's just no reason to spend that pick there it has a higher price tag associated with it which we have to consider and it just has you know players that we don't necessarily need we do need a guard to replace connor williams so we're going to be taking kade newell number 24 in the draft took him in number 17 only normal development but he has a 73 overall and he had an unbelievable combine 90 strength 85 lead block 85 run block finesse are all very high 70 speeds pretty good high acceleration he's very well rounded well balanced and he will be an instant starter number 32 this is our last pick until the fifth round so we have to make a count and that safety i was looking at is still available so that's probably where i'm going with this he's the only guy remaining on my draft board so eric easily it is only four five eight speed however he actually is ranked in the class where our original draft pick was at number eight so number eight of 32 star or better development 75 overall 63203 what is your speed only 87 nice tackling to be fair man coverage is a little bit lower zone is quite high pursuit is good hit power's good i mean he's a strong safety and he's uh like a true strong safety this is a really good addition he's going to be now starting over reggie robinson we really needed to address strong safety i honestly think this draft couldn't have gotten any better with the picks that we've had and what we've you know turned them into i think we've done very very well and we've brought in two new starters with our picks we've got a first round pick next year i don't you know no complaints i don't know what we could have done differently best player available is brandon norwood out of indiana he's actually pretty good just not really much of an athlete but it's technically like very sound he's number 86 in the class taking 160 and as you can see like catching catching traffic spectacular catch really not all that bad he's just not much of a route runner nice short route running and stiff arm yeah the 69 better be stiff but uh you know not much of an athlete or a separator i should say that'll be the end of the draft we still don't have any money i can't even go in and sign anybody uh to start a tight end for us so our starting tight end now is a player i don't know sean i think that's pronounced it's not mckeon i don't think i think his presence like mccown or like something like that or uh i'm not positive whatever doesn't matter we need an upgraded tight end and that's what that comes down to and maybe brandon norwood could play tight end for us 6-4 226 not much of a route runner maybe brandon norweg uh norwood would be better served at tight end we're actually going to try him out there well he is a 68 overall there so we drafted yet another starter drafted a starter at right guard tight end and then defensively easily it's gonna start at strong safety and the cpu drafted braden burrows out of liberty who has star or better development he's crazy fast this was it had to have been a six round pick and the cpu came in clutch and i'm not sure how he's gonna play or where he's gonna play but i mean good on the cpu for that still we have a super weak defensive line i'm not sure how it was so good last year looks like minzy is still going to be a uh a rush t tackle for us but i gotta change that around mincy's gonna be a rush end jalen smith will probably be our sub linebacker trayvon digs in the slot i guess that's brutal so we are five and two at the mid-seas mark i tried to stop it early and i guess uh collected too late at week seven because then it went to eight and then nine but leighton van der esh is our top priority free agent should be a lot of guys in here we need oh it's not even i only really want leighton van der esh back but thankfully we can afford him this would have been uh super sad if we couldn't but we will extend leighton van der esh he is back long term tony pollard's a great backup running back we don't need him we do not even though he's not expensive we do not need him greg the leg we can resign and free agency we need better defensive tackles our defensive line has to improve i moved greg joseph to punter couldn't afford to sign a kicker and he was on the roster breakout player why why are you getting the ball malik malik turner two touchdowns or 100 like i don't know why he would even have a moment why is he playing he's our third receiver i get that but he shouldn't even be in the slot he has 20 catches for 204 through half a year i mean it's not that good we're not really getting a ton of receiving yards and that's why zeke's averaging seven yards per carry you know sorry malik turner it's just not your day it's not your year playoff time and we have a wild card matchup after going 11-4-1 football team tied twice that is wild second best offense in terms of yards even though dak didn't have a ton of passing yards so it's all on zeke defense seemed to be pretty good so you can almost 1900 yards offense was dominant with ezekiel elliott defense was solid overall dak i mean that's a very good year the yards aren't crazy rushing zeke was unstoppable receiving amari cooper over a thousand yards 14 td cd lam was quite good as well 69 catches nice brandon norwood is our tight end extremely involved in this offense was pretty solid not a ton of touchdowns we need a better tight end leighton van der esh really really good year 129 tackles 12 tackles for loss for demarcus lawrence and tristan hill who also had five and a half sacks but it would be demarcus lawrence with nine who led the team eight and a half for jalen smith eight and a half for kirk mincy six and a half neville gallimore we had a lot of pressure interceptions four for jordan lewis three for jalen smith and shinobi woozie two for lve one for osgood and wilson and unfortunately the rookie starting strong safety had none so ryan tannehill wins uh wins mvp of the six nine and one titans where's zeke that prescott's above him seventh he's not even in there for mvp after rushing for almost 2 000 yards nfc offensive player of the year zeke scenario number three can running backs never win the mvp again but dak prescott nearly wins it at number two for offensive player the year defensive player of the year goes to khalil mack jalen smith at number two lve at four offensive rook of the year's dan hunter for the saints brandon norwood the tight end at number two i feel like i'm saying norwood weird i don't know why am i in my own head probably defensive rookie here stefan tate eric easily at six brian scott whoever that is at ten okay playoff time we'll simulate against football team see if we can make it to the divisional and we do and it's a wild card or it's a divisional rematch from last year cowboys lions this time the lions come in with 11 wins playing for a spot in the conference championship and they do not get the revenge losing by a field goal and now it's the packers at lambeau in the conference championship my brain just shut off rap a second but um yeah this could be a tough game a little bit worried about this one these are where the overalls are sitting some guys playing up with morale omari cooper joins a 99 club with morale norwood is playing up to a 77. good for him and then defensively oh eric easily had superstar he's going to be up to an 82 overall in his rookie season let's go eric easily what about the backup middle linebacker headstar i'll take that eric easily with superstars awesome though would love to see uh osgoode get upgraded would like that quite a bit but what can we do not gonna jump in the conference championship we'll see if we can make it to the super bowl one win away could be back to back super bowl appearances if not wins and we have made it to the super bowl again and this is a fun one because the chiefs actually used to play in dallas when they were the dallas texans but we're going to arizona so not entirely relevant but i mean it kind of is with the dallas texans for the chiefs and now the dallas cowboys anyway cowboys chief super bowl looking for back-to-back wins got a lead early and it's going to be two scores 14-nothing as this cowboys team is dominating patrick mahomes and the chiefs 17-nothing now at the start of the second half the chiefs are a team that is not afraid to make a comeback in the playoffs so they you know did that a ton last year but it's not going to happen this year uh at least in the game the final score is 40 to 14. andy reid looking slimmer good for him he's also looking like a loser back to back super bowls here for us in this rebuild we are dominant starting to build a dynasty and that was my goal coming into this was build at least a perennial super bowl contender and it seems like we've done more than that mahomes was not very good less than 200 yards only one touchdown and one interception dak was amazing only three incompletions he had as many incompletions as he did touchdowns zeke was quite good tony pollard even got like way too many carries how does he have 17 carries hate that receiving cd lamb good game touchdown for zeke out of the backfield and the tight end brandon norwood who had the other tight end or who had the other touchdown interesting back up tight end sean we're just gonna call him the keon because i don't know any better demarcus lawrence big game with two and a half sacks and an interception for the rookie eric easley all right so back-to-back super bowls i don't think we can bring back tony pollard it just doesn't make sense to i know he's an 80 overall he's good look at her cap room we just don't have the cap room for a backup running back to pay him almost 14 mil over five years just doesn't make sense i know he did play quite a bit in the playoffs and sim actually you know what maybe we will extend him if he accepts this if not yeah that's fine he can test for agency greg zerlin we can't afford tristan hill we can't afford we can't really afford any of those guys we're not really gonna have any money in free agency it's just the unfortunate situation that we're in in order to have all these good players on the team and a lot of these players were here you know before i even took over uh it's tough to bring in new talent because everyone's getting paid so much between zack martin zeke amari cooper demarcus lawrence uh dak prescott it is uh it is very tough you know what we need we need a backup tight end that can block that's my main focus in free agency is a backup tight end it's the only thing we can afford anyway foster more people occasionally say i look like him i think it's just because we're both white not really much in the blocking department ricky seals jones i don't really think of him as much of a blocker and he's not ian thomas not so much cj uzoma he's gonna be a better blocking option for us 65 run block maybe bring him in oh drew sample prototypical blocking tight end the same as uzama maybe just bring in tj uzama yeah i think we'll pick up the fifth year option on cd lam pretty sure about that one he's only been unbelievable during this rebuild and i want drew sample that's what i decided on just because he's younger and that's who end up ends up signing with us only took like three weeks for him to make his decision which is much longer than usual but now we have a pretty good backup tight end someone that can certainly block and we pick a number four in the draft that's a big reason why our cap um space was pretty low is because they were thinking about you know this pick and hopefully there's some really good players available ben green looks like the guy he looks really good only a mid first rounder though so maybe not nope this is the guy ron means out of the u and he means business nah but he is really good alfonso long also skipped the combine baller and their second and third round guys por que no los dos i want both of them why not both the first three picks in the draft were not even good so we have really anyone we that we want i like ben green a lot like he looks really solid he's just not the athlete that some of the guys down the board are so i'm probably going to trade back to like 15. all right the move we would end up making is trading number four back to 14 picking up a second round pick in the process so just a little bit of a trade down and the addition of a second rounder you know number 46 overall maybe so we'll just reassess the board save a little money by moving down and still probably getting the player i want and i'm not sure that it's daniel boykin really good player don't necessarily need him could bring in a defensive tackle looks to be a really good player we do need help a defensive tackle quite a bit so defensive tackle is our biggest need on the defensive line uh by a lot however mincy could move inside i know he's 6'3 266 but he played as a rush defensive tackle like a lot like that's his entire like rookie year and some of his second year as well so i guess we could do that i don't love that idea but we need to draft the best player available right now i don't think it's adding a db i think it's i think it's bulking up the defensive line with it which is edge and defensive tackle i don't want to miss out on some of those edge rushers this is a tough spot i'm going to take the defensive tackle here i think he's too good to pass up we need help there really badly he's a number four overall player in the class 77 overall normal development six five three eleven only 21 years old not even that bad of a pass rusher and he's fast to 95 strength to go with 81 speed 79 blackshed 74 power moves he is very very good and i think immediately the highest overall defensive tackle on our team but now here's why this was a tricky spot it's because i really want ron means and i'm not sure he's going to be available in 15 picks if we don't get him alfonso long should be there and we don't really need both of them but i need one of them for sure i hope ron means is available crazy athlete really crazy athlete strength speed profile off the charts but then you look at alfonso long and he has some great skills maybe even better than ron means with the a minus tackling i'd like to get both of them i'm just not sure we're gonna be able to mid season mark we are five and three actually not at the top of the nfc east offense is stalling we need a change hopefully the defense is performing well oh it isn't the 30th 19th in points scored so worse than average there and then 11th in points a lot so our defense is still playing fairly well need a change on offense we're going to move a scheme change so we can make the playoffs hopefully we're going to run uh tennessee tennessee should work well with who we have here so we will make that change oh first round bye really 11 and five this time is enough to get it done that is a nice change so looks like the titans playbook change was the move defense continue to play well dak great year down on the interceptions quite a bit rushing zeke still a great year looks like the hybrid playbook was the move to accumulate stats cd lam over a thousand yards 10 td 7 for mario cooper norwood continues to play well nine touchdowns for him even seven for josh portis but we do need a better third receiver if we're going to be uh a great team but quarterback sacks 14 and a half from kirk mincy up the middle and he's still only in 80 overall with 84 finesse moves wild interceptions four for cherokee woozier two for jordan lewis one for another a number of other players force fumbles uh two for oozier led the team a lot of guys had one black kick for leighton van der resch any defensive touchdowns ooh one for trayvon diggs and yearly awards lamar jackson wins mvp dax not in the conversation but nick mullins is of the eight and eight patriots at 72 overall nfc offensive player of the year is russell wilson back at four did i just miss him no he's not there i don't know uh where's zeke is he at the end no defensive player of the year roquan smith back to back bears no cowboys oh actually oozier gets in there at 10. offensive rook of the year rakim tyson in second excited to see what his uh development trade is and then defensive rook of the year ronald lockhart we just missed it with two guys desmond wallace and ron means fonzo long in there as well man we just missed two guys finished in second for their respective awards but we were in the playoffs for the third year in a row at 11 and five 91 overall 95 offense 87 defense defense is lagging behind a bit but the offense is and should be dominant and tyson had superstar x factor looks like we made the right move he had first one free and he started with superstar x factor as well he didn't get that he started with it rakim tyson is a beast defensively um i don't think we drafted anyone with star better development it was just the running back but teams looking pretty good they're playing well and that's really all you can ask for in the end as we are facing up against the rams in the divisional looking for our third straight super bowl appearance and win barely beat the rams bucks in the conference championship to advance to the super bowl we beat them 24-20 and once again for the third year in a row we are in the super bowl i mean again i can show you that i didn't force wins i mean we were five and three it wasn't like it was too crazy um of a comeback the second half of the season but we uh pretty i mean we won out except for the last two weeks of the season so it didn't win out but lost by a point and then less than a touchdown of the seahawks against the nfc west and then postseason obviously very close games but didn't force win and then the biggest game now comes against the patriots this one for all the marbles they went eight and eight and they made it i'm interested to see development trade upgrades ron means is up to an 80. we'd love to see something for him but i just don't see it 88 overall for the defense that is great um you know who might have an upgrade is uh kirk kirk last name he might have what is his last name a defensive tackle yeah kirk minsky is up to star with 14 and a half sacks it definitely makes sense team's looking really good though linebacking core is excellent even though they flew under the radar because of you know both only star development not superstar or anything like that a bunch of normal guys but it's a well-rounded team easily he's up to an 87 showbie woozier at 87 offense you can't sleep on any of these guys amari cooper's at a 99 and cd lamb is a 98 here at only 24 years old it just doesn't get better than that he has no short route running at all nice trucking but yeah cd lam is a monster up to a 98 are you kidding me that is crazy but uh he's a really good player definitely has potential to be one of the best receivers in the league so not that wild we're gonna hop in here see if we can beat the patriots and three pete let's get it and i uh looked away i don't know i don't know why it didn't really commentate this game much but it doesn't matter because it's a three-peat the cowboys once again are super bowl champions in what has to be my most effective rebuild uh success wise that we've ever done and someone's wearing 22 that's a yikes from me with edmond smith and that's the rookie running back who's who it was superstar x factor um so this is what it is and they gave nick mullins 12. i love it i love it i love it they have will dissley too but the cowboys are super bowl champions yet again it looks like they were showing cd lamb there did cd lamb win um player of the game super bowl mvp don't know how he could have with two catches for 37 yards interceptions for woozier and jalen smith no force fumbles any sacks i think we should what five for demarcus lawrence unreal i mean i was gonna end the video but like we've won three super bowls in a row why not push for four this will be a longer video but it could be worth it so who do we have to resign i mean some big players but not a ton it's really only the top two if we can sign one of these guys and then franchise tag the other and we can actually just sign both uh demarcus lawrence will bring back for three years super test out free agency no he's gonna have to get franchise tag and it's gonna be so unbelievably expensive i can't tag him cannot do it so what i'm gonna have to do is extend tyron smith and then compete for demarcus lawrence and free agency gallimore can walk trayvon diggs probably should walk i mean he's not that expensive i take down the money that'd be a fine deal all right trevon dix is back reggie robinson can walk the rest can all walk oh we got little jordan humphrey hook him texas sucks lost to tcu i it sucks to be a texas fan man i hate it i hate it um every year i'm like okay team looks great on paper and they suck barely beat texas tech lost to tcu got oklahoma in a week as i record this it's not looking good i know oklahoma's look bad too they're one and two they're negative under 500 but i'm worried about it i'm very very very worried about it and we actually have money in free agency and i think we're gonna have to compete for demarcus lawrence we don't super need him by the way like we don't really but i think it makes sense to bring him back like why let him go i mean well it's not like it's why let him go i say simmons is here it's uh we couldn't pay 29 mil to keep him after he declined like a really fair offer so we'll make an offer on demarcus lawrence have to pay a lot to get guys in here darius slay would be a good third corner can't really afford him so i think i might go after isaiah simmons instead oh my goodness what a haul zayn gonzalez all right we had a new starting kicker but isaiah simmons and demarcus lawrence being added to the defense that's just having money to burn at this point that's just having money to burn why not i know we don't need isaiah simmons but we have the money to bring him in this could be the final year he's too good to not bring in and it's just finding a spot for him and it's probably i don't even know i mean it could be a linebacker spot we could play him in the secondary he'd be an upgrade uh at safety at free safety but we just get we're bringing in talent we could even play him on the edge if we wanted to so i'm trying to figure out what to do with isaiah simmons i think he would be best as a linebacker think he'd be best as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 for this particular team um or even an inside linebacker in a 3-4 could play outside linebacker in a 4-3 i don't really know if we keep him at safety i'm just trying to figure out where he would be most effective demarcus lawrence could stay on the inside in a 3-4 jalen smith would probably be on the inside so who would play outside linebacker ron means and isaiah simmons we could do that and then he would play on the inside mincy and wallace would be our nose oh fourth our defense has been like pretty solid though i'm not really sure i want to change it so this is gonna be the team for the final season this is what i decided to do on defense we were just in the luxury of having way too many good players that i'm you know trying to figure out a way to get these best players on the field and i think the 3-4 is going to be the best for us because we don't have to stick in this 3-4 i've decided to go for detroit defense which is a multiple front so occasionally three four occasionally four three jalen smith is not going to be a rush end neither is isaiah simmons we're going to have ron means and demarcus lawrence as a rush end mincy and wallace up the middle we're still going to have our great players come in at linebacker so i think we're going to be better than ever my one concern going into the draft is getting a third receiver other than that we're golden if there's a stud edge rusher i won't be able to pass that up them up but i think receiver is our number one need as we get a punter well that's the one terrell randall who has both b plus power and finesse moves how do i get in position for him some really good corners in here as well unfortunately we'll not be able to draft any of them okay so this one at this point we're just like having a good time i know ron means is a good starter for us 80 overall 23 years old we have alfonso whatever his last name is behind him uh who is a 77 overall 22 years old we're trading a two next year and a three this year for number five overall i'm just trying to draft people you know make a little bit more fun at this point and even though it's fun to see ron means develop a little bit only normal development i want to see what terrell randall's talking about scheme fit if we played him at outside linebacker we're drafting him he looked very very good unfortunately ranked number six took me number five only normal development if he had better development it was worthwhile but look how good he is dude 78 power moves 78 finesse moves 77 blocks had to go with his 85 speed 89 excel 81 pursuit he'll probably even be a slightly higher overall at uh right end than he is right outside linebacker so really good player a shame he just doesn't have better than normal development save manuel diaz here receiver 75 overall normal development supposed to go in the third round he's number 12 in the class took him at 32. he'll be a good third receiver for us not much in the deep route running department at all but that actually should work well in the slot 95 change of direction really interesting player here 95 cod 78 spin 83 juke move hmm 90 agility he's almost more of a running back so now i'm in a tough spot because i like quinton man quite a bit but i think daryl tullock's gonna be the better player so i'm taking him out of ucf 74 overall number 20 in the class took him at 64. only normal development but 92 speed 95 excel nice play wreck not much of a block shedder he'll be a good special teams player my last pick is going to be d carmen out of boise state we know cowboys love drafting boise state players demarcus lawrence comes to mind uh cedric wilson they didn't draft the madarian thompson's on the team now he's not a player but kellen moore is the uh offensive coordinator there are more boise state players i know that there are i'd have to look at the team oh uh leighton van der resch is one i want to say there's still more um i don't see any that are still on the team on offense and then defense i have to sneeze oh that came strong she said all right um let's see boise state players in nfl tyrone crawford went to boise state i actually didn't know that man the dallas cowboys or boise state south but uh yeah what do we want to do at right end i think it's just moving randall down to start which i am cool with mid-season mark six and one i'm not gonna worry about extending cd lam this is the final year we'll see if we can four pete but uh yeah this team is performing very very well can't even do anything with the uh coach xp at this point so we'll just simulate to the mid-season or well that was a mid-season mark we'll simulate to the playoffs i have no doubt we're gonna make them this could realistically be four super bowls in a row which would be wild another first round buy for this team this might be a two loss team ooh three loss 13 and three we'll check out the stats second best offense in terms of yards zack led the league in passing touchdowns this could be an mvp type year for him defense seems to be pretty good as well dak 12 picks but 4 400 yards 43 touchdowns is insane zeke was awesome as well even rakim tyson nine tds receiving cd lamb 1700 yards on 98 catches 20 touchdowns brandon norwood goodyear amari cooper was pretty good manuel diaz is a rookie was nice but nobody had anything on cd lam leighton van der resch with a very good year jordan lewis had a ton of tackles 13 tackles for loss for mincy demarcus lawrence with 16 and a half sacks the rookie at oak state terrell randall with 13 sacks nine for alfonso long i don't even know how he was playing so much to get nine sacks but he did kirk mincy ate sacks oh he might actually started and then tyrell randall might have been a rush end so tyrell randall in theory could have had like even more sacks like add the nine he could have 20 plus eight for kirk mincy eight for desmond wallace detroit playbook going crazy leighton van der est two picks two for a wooziere one for emmett bradfield that's no good he shouldn't have been seeing the field ever that's that's that's interesting uh yearly awards we have russell wilson winning mvp dak prescott at four nfc offense player of the year russell wilson dak prescott at two defensive player of the year leighton vander ishe two but dion jones won it demarcus lawrence at five offense rick of the year mark havenstein manuel diaz at two defense rookie year is tyrell randall so i guess we made the right move in drafting him even if uh he wasn't a higher overall than the previous defensive end we had there and uh we'll see if we can beat the bears in the divisional to advance the conference championship and we just can't be beat i mean we have the saints in the conference championship cd lamb is a 99 not even sure we'll be able to upgrade him anymore and we'll see if we can beat the saints for another shot at the super bowl and we finally go down finally this rebuild had to come to an end at some point and it finally comes to a screeching halt as the saints beat us by eight points or seven was it 38 31 or 38 30. is it about a touchdown either way as this is your final team cd lam's gonna end at a 99 overall with superstar x factor his short route running even got high at the end there abilities yak em up for cd look at this offense so so good this was a monster team one of the best i've built for sure and i mean what can you say um this was a really really good team no development changes on defense but some nice overall boost but that is gonna do it for me guys thank you so much for watching hope you enjoyed and i will see you in the next one take it easy [Applause] [Music]
