what's going on guys bengal again here coming back at you with another rebuild today rebuilding the jacksonville jaguars they had a very eventful offseason they had the number one overall pick and it was probably no surprise to anyone who's followed college football or the nfl draft who they ended up selecting not featured in the top three players but could be within the next couple years of course quarterback out of clemson trevor lawrence should be a really fun rebuild hope you guys are enjoying these rebuilds i posted a bunch on the channel so far actually only two but i will be posting a bunch and lions franchise has been killing it so i appreciate the support on that and let's go ahead and take trevor lawrence turn him into a hall of fame quarterback or at least on that path and make this jags team a perennial contender so this is the team the offensive line is not too bad cam robinson is playing in the franchise tag so we're gonna have to make a decision about him whether that's extending or replacing him he's only 25 years old cam robinson's usually a player hold on to like he's not that good he's not that bad he's whatever but he's young so it means he has value and franchise andrew norwell ben barch in there we have brandon linder aj khan and of course juwan taylor he fell to the second round in his draft class actually a pretty good player it wouldn't shock me if over the next two years he takes a big jump to being you know definitely an above average tackle not a lot here at tight end tim tebow's not going to make the team let's be real about this i'm sure you guys have seen some clips on twitter i've tweeted some out twitter.com bengal youtube you guys want to check that out link is in the description as always tebow i you know it is what it is on that i don't really have much to say about him i think when i was growing up tim tebow really frustrated me and i'm like this freaking guy and now as i'm older i'm like you know what tim tebow's pretty awesome he is one of the best college quarterbacks ever best college players ever first round pick in the nfl clearly just wasn't nfl qb went back and played minor league baseball made it to aaa after not playing baseball since high school and then is you know trying to still play in the nfl at a new position as a 34 year old pretty cool but yeah he sucks let's be real about it brought in marvin jones dj shark leviska chanault i love the receivers i really do they brought in jamal agnew as a sick returner the running backs are great we have thunder and lightning with james robinson sick undrafted free agent rookie and then travis etienne the complete opposite end of the spectrum first round drafted rookie of 2021 etn and lawrence had that clemson connection and atn can be that kind of jack of all trades player for us where he can maybe play a little receiver and running back don't know what i'm going to do quite yet and then of course we have trevor lawrence he's the focus of this entire rebuild 21 years old 78 overall probably superstar development trevor lawrence should be unbelievable should be fantastic for us and then on defense there is some potential here i probably want to start andre cisco instead of jared wilson and then we have josh allen miles jack joe schobert could be worse and we have caleb on chase on out here hopefully he takes a step up at some point the defensive line j2 fellas cool that's quite a lot of hair on them devon hamilton malcolm brown former texas longhorn hook and horns and then roy robertson harris was also signed so we have some decent players at corner brought in shaquille griffin that's huge cj henderson's involved some and some trade rumors i'm not trading them just not going to trade them no shot he's way too good way too young sydney jones in there as well trey herndon obviously very familiar with this team if you watched my main franchise series last year with the jags we know a lot about these guys we know a lot about these guys who has one year remaining that would have any trade value i mean jared wilson maybe philip dorsett i don't really want to use trey herndon there's some options city jones i kind of want to hold on to dj shark want to hold on to andrew norwell i want to hold on to a lot of one-year contracts okay making a big first trade trey herndon cam robinson in a fifth gets us a projected late first round pick from minnesota hopefully that pick ends up being pretty good i think the vikings are always pretty bad in simulation and i decided we're gonna make a slight gut of the team in that regard just trey herndon really and cam robinson we're gonna move ben barch over to left tackle you know what's funny about ben barch i want to say he played tight end and then beefed up significantly to play offensive line and then ended up getting drafted so pretty cool for him actually you know in order to get the in order to get the scheme fit i'm going to move walker little to right tackle and juwan taylor to left tackle which is kind of funny because walker little played left tackle at stanford when he actually was on the field and juwan taylor played right tackle at florida and i'm going to go ahead and swap that levisqua channel is going to play in the slot i'm also going to have cj henderson as my slot corner i think this is the way i want to set things up maybe devon hamilton playing a little bit more i mean malcolm brown's really never going to develop i'll be honest it's just never going to happen could play caleb on chase on i'm gonna keep dwayne smooth there for a minute we'll see what happens i need to experiment with some of these playbooks so we're gonna rock with jacksonville for right now and we'll simulate to the mid-season mark we are three and three at the mid-season mark not doing particularly poorly honestly dj shark norwell jones khan all ready to renegotiate and i do want a few of these guys back dj chark and andrew norwell especially sharks in my long term future of the team dj chark has to come back and then andrew norwell as well 29 years old still a very viable starter i would be down to sign him to a five-year deal and he wants more money i just gave you so much so much like guaranteed money and he's like nah sydney jones is back though aj khan is like only slightly worse than andrew norwell he wants more money as well well andrew norwell is just rallying the offensive line for more money and maybe i don't play ball all right also thank you guys so much for the support on these videos so far what i will say from the comments is some people want the more realistic rebuilds i'm down for those but i gotta wait for a draft class to come out i'll probably end up making one with at least like 30 to 60 recognizable names and then kind of adapt that throughout the year you might see a video on that so make sure you subscribe but everyone's saying oh man everyone's breaking the record for yards every time there's an extra game this year so to see a quarterback have a really good year plus throw for three or four more touchdowns like mahomes had a crazy year unreal unreal year like i mean what do you say about that it was crazy but you know with an extra game some of these numbers gonna be more feasible chief's playbook i don't know how nuts it is seems pretty crazy seems pretty crazy but also patrick mahomes is insane chief's playbooks might be the wave this year i'm not gonna lie but we should be in the playoffs right the offense was not particularly good trevor lawrence was not too bad though not too bad carter mitchu on the fakes was getting it in two touchdowns four for four throwing i think these are probably on like fake field goals rushing um nothing crazy honestly receiving marvin jones 1200 yards and 99 catches six tds seven touchdowns for shark chanel got involved too love to see that defensively miles jack played really well 14 tackles for loss six and a half sacks for roy robertson harris and malcolm brown led the way we're getting no pressure off the edge the defense is going to change a lot here jack griffin showbert and sydney jones with three and then two interceptions apiece and then for yearly awards my hometown's mvp he was really really good saquon in there at number two i doubt you're gonna see any jags offense player of the year mahomes no jags defense player of the year is deforest buckner miles jacket five offensive rookie there is naji harris trevor lawrence at three and then defense rookie there is jeremiah owusu coramoa tyson campbell at 10. we didn't even talk about tyson campbell picked at the top of the second round it's another reason to to trade trey herndon just to get him more involved and we are facing the chiefs in the first round of the playoffs this is not going to be good this is not gonna be good like like these little cut scenes though clearly marvin jones miles jack josh allen who's 52 is that devon hamilton maybe and he's getting the locker room fired up you love to see it what's gonna happen here though players from both teams have trouble accelerating changing directions and reaching their normal top speed might be better to stop tyrekil we're not gonna be playing this game if you've seen these rebuilds there's not a whole lot of gameplay involved that's my actual lion series we're gonna play it cool because we're not gonna win we're just probably not gonna we're probably not gonna beat them let's just be real about that if we do manage to beat the chiefs whoopty do i'm gonna say it's not gonna happen and we do 29 15. unbelievable we stunned the chiefs i'm as stunned as anyone i'm more son than the chiefs are the gm wants to talk to me assistant gm all right seven staff points for just shocking the world let me take a look at the team real quick trevor lawrence should have superstar dev right are we gonna be shocked by this in his star yeah superstar it was always gonna be superstar should be star for travis tien who's up to an 80. he could chase down james robinson it could happen and then nothing on defense tyson campbell's cb4 i still want sydney jones though so i don't know how much he's ever gonna play and we lost to the titans that's not a shock the titans are killing it 14-3 i want to see here's what i want to see i want to see how good the titans actually are carolina's 15-2 they're crushing it hold on the chief's offense is crazy good understand panthers are amazing those numbers are crazy you already know that half those receiving touchdowns are to christian mccaffrey i want to see defense though i'm still trying to see the best defensive playbook titans rams cults the titans might have something going we'll figure it out all right mark anderson i'm gonna fire him i'm gonna fire him and he's gone so now we have to hire a defensive coordinator to replace him let's see here how about somebody we had a huge hiring bonus why would i not just fire these guys every time you know i don't know why hire urban meyer oh yeah i'm like wait i said huh i get it now i fired him when i took over as the uh as a team guy okay so we get i'm not gonna hire a head coach can we hire these guys to play defensive coordinator i mean why would i not just hire someone with a ton of talents already let's see here and i can always change the playbook so it doesn't matter what makes sense here martin kelly mike tomlin we could recruit craig taylor let's let's bring in mike zimmer that's like the uh the doug marone signing if i've ever seen it just a hard-nosed guy so i think that definitely made sense he's already coming in with talents right think so now he has zero talents though does he just he lost his talents what's the point of even showing me then all right dude i've been doing a bunch of player personnel stuff i mean that's that's clearly been the wave got a lot of trade value increase and we could reduce the cost of trading up in the draft in like a year not this year but in a year it was actually really our offense that held us back more than anything else the defense really wasn't too bad we just fired our coordinator for no reason pretty much which is fun ravens cowboys super bowl interesting matchup and we will see the players ready to negotiate that we haven't already brought back it's gonna be norwell and aj khan you know norwell i'm gonna bring it down to four years but i'll race his salary slightly and he's back and then aj khan i would give maybe a three-year deal it's not that much money what about a two-year deal what about a two-year deal if he declines oh he's back okay all right cool all right what free agents are available not gonna sign davonte adams in this one although he's there unshockingly don't need a corner don't need devin mccordy i kind of like andre cisco but marcus williams is just clearly better and significantly younger and not getting a ton of big offers marcus williams just like i did in jack's franchise of baton 21 marcus williams is gonna get an offer at the very least and he's really not that expensive what if i brought the money down even more with the bigger year bigger year more years obviously is what i'm trying to say there don't really need a receiver too badly got josh lambo got a punter logan cook i think i'm pretty happy but we could use a guard even if it's just like someone that's not a long-term solution like richie incognito for a year he's gonna retire but if we have him for one year that's really not too bad marcus williams and richie incognito would be a pretty good free agent class and richie incognito would help toughen up the locker room either that or they're going to quit football and threaten well let's go ahead and move on to the draft richie incognito and marcus williams accept and it's going to be nfl draft time roy robertson harris got stardev that's something that's something okay nfl draft time what do we need let's go ahead and just are we the number one overall pick that's from minnesota they sucked that's nice and we got it it was valued at number 28 ends up being number one i'm gonna do that all year long so we need to really pick anything across the offensive line would be okay tight end i'm fine with the rest of the offense right now and then defensively if we move to a 4-3 roberts and harrison devon hamilton are fine interior defensive lineman josh allen caleb on chase on could move down to end and then we could use an off ball linebacker or we could just move josh allen down to defensive end and pick up an actual like another edge rusher that'd be fine if we stayed in the 3-4 still could go safety i like andre cisco but he's just he's not it normal development 70 overall he's just not good enough we're really still drafting in a best player available situation okay so there's some good quarterbacks trent richards is an unbelievable corner unbelievable unbelievable and then i can move somebody back to safety eric wilcox alabama seems like a pretty good edge rusher trent richards is like can't miss though julian glover out of iowa will looks awesome i have no idea what direction i want to go with this pick johnny young looks really really good xavier campbell looks really solid is a fort looks sick at number 34 oh terry christmas that's a mid-second round guy he looks really solid he looks really good uh here's the thing though this corner is just unreal he's just unreal i think he's probably the best player in the draft i'm not sure i can turn that down just don't know how i can nelson bennett whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa random fourth round safety hold on hold on he looks nuts i mean we don't really need a ton of help in the secondary though i don't and sean curtis looks pretty solid for the second round george ellis looks pretty solid as well dennis anthony baller skipped the combine early first round guy said roger goodell up yours i'm not doing your damn combine this draft class is really really good oh my goodness i don't know what to do we don't really need receiver certainly don't need running back desmond walker in the third looks awesome what do i do don't need quarterback obviously not gonna look at any of these guys i have no idea what to do because well you know what we can rationalize taking the receiver because marvin jones is aging but at corner the corner is just so good that's really the big thing and the safety looks so awesome too but we got marcus williams we can still upgrade over raeshawn jenkins i'm not really concerned about that at all sydney jones we resigned to a long-term contract what do we do here he's on a five-year deal are we really gonna trade that receiver makes sense receiver makes sense but i want a corner and i want the safety pittsburgh is gonna give us a second round pick next year just to move down one spot if they want to take the corner at number one overall they're welcome to do that i'm okay this would make my decision a lot easier also people keep asking me why don't talk about this white blinding light it's not gonna be in the game they're aware of the glitch i'm not gonna talk about it every video they take eric wilcox well okay at number two overall then i'm gonna take the corner trent richards looks so so so good i have to take him he's number one in the class 80 overall star or better development 92 speed 82 man 81 zone 78 press play rex high awareness is super high i couldn't not take this guy he was just way too good to pass up 77 overall quarterback to the jets they don't have anybody there that pick makes sense for them i guess he's actually probably a higher overall than zack wilson right now but still insanity that they would do that at number 26 here we have to really think about what we want to do at this spot is a fort still available that's really tempting that's really tempting sean curtis also looks good i know he's a late first round guy but he's middle linebacker the position overall is weighted differently i want dennis anthony i really do the running backs definitely solid but i really i need nelson bennett i need dennis anthony desmond walker i don't really need we're gonna take zay ford here get help on defense with an edge rusher 77 overall erected number eight in the class star or better development 86 speed 81 finesse moves he looks pretty similar to josh allen honestly in some ways so he's going to start it outside linebacker right away and we're gonna play we're gonna stick in the three four at least for right now using a four or five and a six to trade up to number 81 this year i think that's worth it for me based on where the players i want to draft are but i'm still probably gonna move up from there as well like i know anthony's 40 picks down the board i'm not letting it get that weight i'm just not okay swapping second round picks with the bills here's the catch mine is projected 36 overall next year theirs is number 43 overall this year i just don't want to risk out on any of these players slipping out of my grasp when i think they can be the franchise-defining pieces to our team that we need to be successful so it's not for jerry cunningham i'm gonna reach down the board by not reaching at all for dennis anthony he looks insane really really good baller skipped the combine he's got that panache to him says hey roger goodell let me show you my we're going to take them what am i saying dennis anthony 77 overall star or better development number six in the draft particular 43 amazing short route running great catching really good speed amazing change of direction very interesting player very interesting player had to take him had to and we pick again at the end of the second round and like i'll consider the running back here we don't need it i'm probably not gonna take him i know he's gonna be really good i know he's gonna be really really good but i just don't think he's the best player for our team everyone knows everyone watching this video would be like why would you even consider taking the running back why would i even consider it it's a it's a genuinely good question especially when like i do not want to miss out on nelson bennett he's way too good just way too good but at the same time hold on where are my picks oh i listen i'm going to take both and it's i know you're saying why get the running back best player available best player available gives us more flexibility we could make a trade as well really good player had to take him number two in the class 78 overall star were better development all hidden depths so far he's just way too good 94 speed 90 change of direction great juke move acceleration agility just way too good and he has the aggressive catch trait that's weird trading a three and a seven this year and a four next year to move up to 63 so we're moving up like 20 spots right to this one and uh like i don't want to risk anyone not being available oh i'm not the lions that's right i'm not the lions this is not lions franchise i'm trading to number 31 and i just do not want to risk the safety getting drafted so we got to navigate the draft board nelson bennett out of clemson we're just we are clemson south that's what the jacksonville jaguars are turning into travis etienne trevor lawrence and now nelson bennett 77 overall first normal player we took but he's amazing number five in the draft 90 speed 72 zone 78 hit power he's a tackling machine he honestly even though he's light could be a sub linebacker very easily and you're gonna see his overall at that position it's gonna be pretty good it's gonna be pretty good we crushed this draft this feels a lot like the the dolphins draft in 2021 or even the jags draft in 2021 just a lot of high quality players i mean that player he got taken he wasn't amazing but he would have been nice you know what blessing in disguise we're gonna end up going with dwayne eldridge here late second round guy he's not amazing but he could be okay he's got star better development okay okay 71 overall number 55 took him at number 90 and he has at least start good run blocking pass block even though it's not crazy pass block finesse and lead block nice and then pretty high strength and good speed is dwayne eldridge going to compete to start right away that's gonna do it for my draft what a draft here in the first three rounds that was at the very end of the third obviously but that draft really could not have gone any better pretty stack draft class i mean we were insane was that five players at 77 overall or higher where does that stand with the nfl so we have the first best player julian glover was someone i considered obviously but you know we ended up going with who we ended up going with there's desmond walker dante joseph running back nelson bennett dennis anthony zay fort is who we ended up taking i think we did it really really well also considered george barrow glad we didn't take him thought about eric wilcox glad we didn't take him it really just could not have gone any better we just crushed it marvin jones is 32 and honestly just doesn't belong starting for us anymore i'm not sure that i'll trade him i'm going to play anthony over leviska channel for right now just because his potential is crazy high but shannon's going to be our third receiver he's going to get really involved trust me and then eldridge why would he not start why would he not start over walker little he is 21 super young walker little is 23 better development trait that's the move we still have not really addressed tight end it's not like colin johnson can move to tight end i guess but i'm not going to do that maybe maybe i will actually colin johnson becomes our best tight end there you go start texas we're getting him involved here and i'm still up in the air about what to do with the defense what is bennett at sub linebacker i bet he's pretty good 72 well he's playing down with morale he's just so light i i cannot rationalize moving him to linebacker just can't do it richards has to play it's a good problem to have really we just have way too many good players right now we're just gonna stick with the way things are i like the team the d-line is still kind of rough i think we're eventually going to move to a 4-3 but we don't have the linebackers to make it happen right now we just have an unbelievable secondary which i like i really do like that get jones down please chanal and then i'm gonna have the rookie in the slot as well anthony and then i know it's like why do we draft walker it's just way too good for the spot and i don't know what we do with him just yet and i think that's a good problem to have play richards in the slot we just have a really really solid team again good problems to have fort and island as rush ends i like this i like this a lot i think eventually when joe shobert becomes less of a big piece for us i think what we do is we move bennett to sub linebacker and one of the corners to safety so in some packages when bennett moves down to play linebacker we have a really good safety four and three at the mid-season mark that really isn't too bad and we have a breakout player challenge here for nelson bennett and he can get upgraded to star dev i'm in hopefully we're able to accomplish that in simulation but that's good to see i don't get returning from injury i have injury off so what's going on let's see if we can see some of these dev traits by the way blow me away blow me away so we don't know walker yet anthony has star i'm gonna move him down slightly we don't know walker just because he's not playing it's not a big shock we just have such amazing depth at running back and then defensively i need to see some big ones we don't know richard yet i almost just freaked out right there because how many times did i change this and the cpu auto reordered it so we don't know richards yet he hasn't been playing a ton he's played a decent bit because i think i do have him in the slot four has star bennett could get star they change oh man i swear what is this one on the far left here reduce the cost of trading up in the draft sure you sold me on it i think i'll probably have the cpu delegate what gets upgraded now we actually could be a playoff team we're second in the afc south right now but we're right there a big second half and we're in easily did not make the playoffs finishing at eight and nine our defense just was not good allowed a ton of points offense was about middle of the pack not particularly good there yeah so not really an amazing year two but our team is getting better up to an 83 overall which we like walker has star dev and then show me something good for the corner star dev as well everyone had star dev so yeah i mean it looked like we had a crazy draft and belson or nelson bennett didn't get star dev either so everyone who drafted despite you know everyone was hidden except for bennett everyone had star or worse so not exactly ideal but we are we're in a good spot colt's defense seems pretty good we know offense like the chiefs are always really really solid i think it's got to be chief's offense and i think we're going to try out colts defense the colts kind of crush it into the off season now we will check out the season recap colts over football team lamar jackson's mvp zach taylor coach of the year mccaffrey wins offensive player of the year cleomac defense player of the year edward barker the patriots wins rookie of the year and then defensive rookie there is jonathan mclean of the titans very interesting mccaffrey wins mvp like every year chris mccaffrey's so very good in simulation and then as for the season stats for us trevor lawrence pretty good year two about 4 300 yards 33 touchdowns 13 interceptions rushing james robinson averaged five yards per carry atn was decent as well in his role dennis anthony only 3.8 yards per carry receiving dj shark over a thousand yards anthony as a rookie with eight tds almost 900 yards colin johnson was awesome as a tight end chanel in there as well and then miles jack a ton of tackles nine for loss and three sacks today four is a rookie lead in tackles for loss with 14 7 sacks that led the team roy robertson harris was six allen with five and a half this is why i'm changing the defensive playbook josh allen's just not getting to the quarterback despite like the ability on paper with the attributes to get to the qb he's just not doing it so that means a change needs to happen and it's been made we have a lot of salary cap room we should be able to keep everyone we want to and get some big guys in free agency as well this is our potential free agency losses but we're going to bring back at least some of these guys no marvin jones probably richie incognito i thought would retire he's still there but still probably no richie incognito linder allen robinson james robinson there's no point i know that's going gonna be unpopular but that's a lot of money for a running back when we have etn in behind him and we have another running back we just drafted last year who was really pretty good like robinson's good enough to resign don't get me wrong but do i really want to give him six mil a year over four or five years i don't know about that one ooh miles jack went up to superstar fort went up to superstar huge zayfort love to see that this team it's starting to come together it's not there yet obviously but it's starting to come together josh allen wants to test free agency we're gonna franchise tag him for sure all right jawan taylor's back we have josh lambo and brandon linder back i know people are gonna want me to resign james robinson it just doesn't make sense maybe three years it's too much money though he's not gonna want to sign this he's gonna test free agency i just don't think he's significantly better than travis ctn long term to warrant signing him over just keeping who we have and then josh allen had to be franchise tag to keep him and we're gonna let the we're gonna let the rest walk quinton nelson's here dk metcalf is here okay no one's offering on james robinson again i i feel like you guys got to understand that i mean he's better than etn and walker i get it but it's plus seven overall for a running back etn's a year younger under contract for longer i just feel like i feel like it was definitely the move but yeah i know it's it's tough to see him go so we did get quentin nelson matt ionitis rejected we just didn't really have the money to get his contract any any more expensive in order to keep him but quentin nelson is obviously a huge huge huge signing and the ability to potentially move him to left tackle is obviously like incredibly incredibly intriguing big q is just such a huge get i'm gonna play him at right guard for right now i like norwell in the scheme fit so he's gonna stay there that's probably the same at right card too though right so it really wouldn't matter too much but quentin nelson the right guard he'll be the new zack barton for me and then the o-line looks pretty good i think quentin nelson eventually plays left tackle i really do but we are in a really really good spot need to upgrade a d tackle secondary we're perfectly fine i will not draft anyone from the secondary i don't think i don't think unless i could see them playing linebacker because we do need an off the ball linebacker too the defense is the biggest thing right now dk metcalf would have been huge to get but i like the wide outs we have so i'm comfortable with where we are it's gonna be draft time some decent linebackers they're not gonna be crazy high overalls but they're definitely good which i think is more important julian hale is good value for the second and cody goldman for the third looks awesome yeah cody goldman is almost a guaranteed jag at this point that's my pick at the top of the second round guaranteed at number 15 i could take and really be happy with it i could take two defensive tackles draft board we also could consider a guy like kj sutton here and move him to d tackle that's in play i don't know why that wouldn't be in play i'm almost gonna do that lamarcus nixon would make a lot more sense at d tackle we just don't know how good of a power rusher is we know we know kj sutton is a good power rusher a little bit light for d tackle where's lamarcus nixon on the board compared to kj sutton down the board a little bit it's just the thing is like nixon could be a mid first round end that's a higher overall detach i'm going to take them i'm going to take them 75 overall star or better development number 14 in the class take my number 15 but that development traits big 79 speed 87 strength blocks not too low 76 power moves he could be okay at d tackle i mean he's 6-3 3-12 he's a 3-4 defensive end obviously in the 4-3 now he's going to play d-tackle we're gonna check out the player we passed on kj nixon or whatever i'm not taking him unless he's available at number five in the second round which he's not going to be available here more than likely so i think that was the right decision julian hale's there that's not who we're going to take we are going to take cody goldman we talked about it we're taking him 76 overall number nine in the class tick with 37 star or better development just really well-rounded not much of a cover guy albeit but a very very good outside linebacker he's good to start right away do i want to take anything in round three i'll look at guys but i don't think so what are my trade offers give me something next year yeah 2024 third that makes sense to me who's gonna be the worst team out of this bunch though everyone's offering that probably probably the jets we'll say maybe maybe not we'll see but that's gonna do it for my draft all right let's see the draft recap imagine and it could happen see let me see my player right and i want to see what his overall changes to lamarcus nixon 75 overall not going to see his dev trait because i don't want to spoil it it doesn't really matter he's going to play anyway because i usually just play hidden development players higher but what is his new overall d tackle it could go up a little bit goes down to a 74. he's six three three 12. he's a d tackle all right so this is the way the specialist is gonna shape up i wanna play goldman over showbert actually robertson harris is still involved we got a lot of depth so we're going to utilize that i think i like the way things are shaping up though defensively we're definitely on the rise playbook change so we have chiefs offense colts defense quentin nelson again might make a transition over really isn't rated that highly but i bet i bet they were sick i bet their defense played really really well let's see points allowed top five 49 sacks as well chiefs chiefs might have to be the move offensive and defensively i think brian burns put up a crazy amount of sacks 19. chase young was 16 chris jones 16. hmm we're still figuring it out with the playbooks they do matter a lot they matter a lot so we got to know that and you know what we're going to super sim this one let's see if we can beat the chiefs one game away from the super bowl let's get it done we're better than them they just have patrick mahomes but we are better than them we are down big early 24-3 finally with the touchdown we're making this a game we're only down by a touchdown now going into the second half and it's all tied at 31 the chiefs have blown it 38-38 the chiefs go up by a field goal and then a touchdown we'll see if we can score down by a touchdown defense needs to come up big and we're just allowing the chiefs to go all the way down the field it's 51-41 two huge gains in a row and it seems like we're gonna score a touchdown it's gonna need to be an onside kick and it's just kneels for the kansas city chiefs we almost came back down massively but in the end it was not to be 51-48 is your final just a slugfest both quarterbacks threw for 10 combined touchdowns 330 plus yards apiece wild stuff i know i probably should have jumped in at some point but the series really isn't so much about the gameplay that's lions franchise on the channel if you want to check that out but a very very entertaining game despite not being able to play it and we're going to head into the next year where i think we're going to be really ready to go and really break out lamarck is nixon did you go up to superstar no he just got xp for winning defensive rookie of the year that's okay do power rusher he goes up into the 80s with morale it's not quite a real 80 but plus two power moves is big oh an outside linebacker because joe schobert's bad it's kind of what we're dealing with there i think we're gonna let colin johnson walk and then we can always think about bringing him back in free agency there might be a better tight end there i know he's not really tighten but there might be a better tight end or someone better suited to play tight end for me we do have the money so that really shouldn't be an issue chase claypool to play tight end i actually like the idea of a lot and that was actually considered when he initially joined the nfl he's got the frame for it 6'4 240. darnell mooney's in there as well but chase claypool to play tight end i am in on that we just got to be able to steal him from the patriots and bengals we got eric kendricks as well and chase claypool pretty good free agency for us like kendricks is old i get it and chase claypool is not going to play receiver his overall might even go up a tight end it's just like this is the perfect player for us in free agency if there wasn't going to be a stud tight end chase claypool was perfect for us because he is a huge bodied receiver that has you know considered playing tight end in the past or that was rumored pre-draft and he worked out as a tight end for some teams 90 overall tight end doesn't offer us much as a run blocker but he is a stud weapon and should be amazing for us in that travis kelsey role and then getting eric kendricks is huge as well because even though he's 32 we have him for two years until he's 34. he should be awesome at red outside linebacker for those two years as we compete to win a super bowl so this is our window we're going for it and kendrick should be able to help us out you know quite a bit quite a bit nfl draft time we're gonna pick pretty late here in the first is there any particular position i really need to key in on we could look to get a guard and move quentin nelson to tackle eldridge is up to an 80 that's nice i like the offense for the most part and then defensively i like the defense you know maybe the best available front seven player linebacker d tackle edge corner and safety i like i know bennett is kind of not improving a ton right now maybe it's just best available defensive player yeah maybe that we don't pick to number 30 so there's gonna have to be a really good player in order for me to move up otherwise we're probably staying put louis irvin looks sick we just don't really eat them don't really need them don't think there's anyone worth trading up four so we'll simulate to number 30. you know some good players including dominic jones who i would have considered at this spot 79 overall safety probably would start him if he had a decent development trait but shelton bryson is going to be my guy backup linebacker 75 overall number 13 in the class star or better development just a really good backup offensive nope what really good backup outside linebacker potentially and at least back up uh inside linebacker for right now can always move him if we want to and then nick blackstock's here in the second early first round guy like this potential a lot 79 overall number three in the class star were better development it's going to be tough not to start him right away at strong safety it's gonna be really tough not to he's only one overall less than the guy we have there right now and here's the thing he's got a better development trait and he's way younger more depth pat baker out of south carolina 73 overall number 32 in the class 2.65 star or better development i'm sure that's going to be star just a special teamer but that'll be my draft a really good one i think considering dominic jones has star or better development i'm actually i'm actually really happy with the the safety we got same overall and arguably better 97 acceleration is kind of insane who is this stephen ellerbe rookie offensive lineman he's not going to feature but it's pretty nice it's not going to change anything all i'm going to do is start black stock at strong safety i mean nelson bennett is actually a 79 overall he's worse he's playing up to an 80 but so is black stock he's gonna start three and four at the mid season mark with a 91 offense 89 defense for a 90 overall what is happening man what's happening we can still win the division but this is not where we want to be our team is way too good to be playing like this it's way too good it is way too good defensively blackstock only has star is what it is on that one some big free agents if i do another year after this which i think i will trevor lawrence is going to sign a huge extension qb's always won a ton of money and he's getting that money and then travis etienne do you see how much cheaper he is than james robinson significantly he's half as expensive twice as cheap joe schobert we don't want tyson campbell we don't need walker little we don't need i don't really need any of these guys that was easy we'll do another season after this this is unsuccessful which i don't know why it would be but we're sitting here at three and four being one of the best teams in the league overall wise i don't know what the issue is it has to be our defense but why our defense is amazing i don't get it we would go nine and eight it just doesn't make sense we didn't make the playoffs i don't understand it i don't i don't know what's including nine sacks although lamarcus nixon led the way with 12 and a half seven for zay fort and then interceptions four for the team first defense and then watch this i know we talked about it already but 31st that's the difference right there between a playoff team and not a playoff team we have no defense we have no defense even though we're in 90 overall defense if you thought playoffs or if you thought playbooks didn't matter you're finding out today in a big way they matter significantly chief's offense you gotta use it gotta gotta use it and then defensively is it chiefs defense too because colts i thought was going to be the move and they're just not hanging they're not hanging the bears were the best this time i don't know what the move is i really don't i will find out what the best defense is eventually and then i will be unstoppable but for now we are very stoppable because our defense just doesn't hang i might go cowboys defense honestly to fit the 4-3 they win their sixth super bowl lamar jackson wins mvp over trevor lawrence somehow joe judge coached the year with the vikings lamar jackson offense player of the year aaron donald defensive player of the year mitch for set their quarterback with the vikings wins offensive rookie of the year and then defensive rookie there is keenan means with the ravens linebacker like all we need to do in order to be successful is not have the second worst defense in the league that's really all it is our defense can be middle of the pack and we're going to be really successful i don't want to go with the vikings because i know they're so bad and sim usually i'm way too scared to try them out maybe the niners yeah no point in bringing anybody back we talked about that earlier but like uh i'm still fine i think i had a slight stroke there trying to say the word earlier just i'm gonna die soon so i'm trying to decide what to do here in free agency because we don't really need anything but but but but but what i could do is move quentin nelson to tackle we don't really need a guard because lrb can play guard or tackle we have juwan taylor dj shark got up to superstar dev i don't really know what we need i don't really know what we need you know we could take a d tackle and the reason i'm suggesting that is because fletcher cox is available in free agency and he's obviously very very good he would be a really really great rental to potentially take our defense up to the next level we have the money like we could take bran and sherf or sheriff it's pronounced or garrett bradbury and just move some things around but i think the offensive line's fine maybe we just take a splash play and just get fletcher cox and we got him we overpaid but it's a one-year contract and it doesn't matter you know our team is so much better with fletcher cox than without i think just because getting a huge superstar x factor defensive tackle up the middle how much better does that make our defensive line how much better does that make our defense which in turn is the biggest reason we're not making the playoffs so i think we're going to be in a great spot i really really do so we're going to go to the draft i don't really think it's going to change much and then hopefully just destroy everybody in 2025. picket number 18 again i don't really know how we missed the playoffs we're just gonna take the best overall player available we don't need anything we don't i'm gonna take a safety spencer wiggins looks really really good amazing top skills early first run guy amazing combine just seems like the guy for me number four overall in the class he's gotten button chopped so you can raise the overall by at least three or four points you know star development or better great speed great zone coverage coming out great hit power really really good depth which is anything we were gonna take here was gonna be a depth pickup no one's gonna start and he's pretty close to starting but he's not gonna start and then i'm gonna take a quarterback cameron goldberg wow he's nuts 77 overall number two in the class star better development took him at number 50. he's so good he's so good okay well why would i take a qb you ask well it's good to have a backup i can say a ton of trade value i have been keeping this fairly realistic i think so i don't think i'm to trade him for a player but his trade value i can assure you is ridiculous we'll take a backup linebacker again in eric leyva 69 overall nice good value for the pick but won't matter how good was this class honestly one of the weaker ones we've seen so far i mean it's it's definitely not top heavy it's very solid throughout but no one that amazing the safety i drafted he's not even anywhere to be found i don't even know what to do with that information like pat baker is playing over him i'm gonna move pat baker to back up outside linebacker just to get him out of there 85 speed plays better at linebacker anyway and wiggins imagine he is superstar and he's just riding the bench sad scenes that would be but i mean our team is way too good what do you do about it maybe i even play wiggins over nelson bennett just because bennett hasn't developed at all like you wouldn't necessarily call him a draft bust but it's been disappointing and to be honest a lot of these guys really haven't developed all that much it's really been very slow and steady so far but the d-line looks amazing it's just how do i get that uh that rookie involved more i could play him in the slot could do that only 73 overall slot guy his coverage isn't anything crazy probably just not change that then just leave him as a backup safety and then i think leviska works as our receiver there he's going to go off in this lot he's going to be really really good this year i mean the team's nuts what do you what do you want me to say about it amazing team i've loved how we've constructed it we've really built heavily through the draft a lot of picks and we've hit on a lot of them did i change the defense i may have not changed the book i'm gonna change the book real quick we're going double kc we'll see what happens kansas city is always the best team in the league so maybe there's something to their defense as well we're going to simulate to the mid-season mark and check it out see there that's more like it six and one at the like the jeffersons we gotta get him a one a two and a one next year gives us the ability to trade up to number one didn't even have to get rid of our quarterback the chargers not really in need of a quarterback so i didn't even even try it but i'm gonna take a corner number one overall the last real hyped up player out of buffalo ended up being pretty good in khalil mack don't tell me malcolm koontz do not tell me him denzel mccord's our guy 81 overall number one in the draft we took him at number one great speed man end zone that's a good third corner happy with that we're going to take juan adkinson out of here or out of north carolina number 32 in the class normal dev took him to 94. that's fine back up and that's going to do it for the draft really lucky to get a corner there like i know we traded up to number one but it's lucky that there was a stud corner like that in the draft number one overall player by a lot by a lot the next three are all second round guys very interesting i do love the diversity i love the feel of the madden 22 draft classes that's the biggest thing for me that actually makes the game mode really fun and worth playing is when you're rewarded with good draft picks like that's so fun for me i almost want to play mccord right away just because he's so good but i'm not gonna do it it'll be our third corner and maybe even our slot corner as well i think that makes sense so i don't really need to change anything here except for slot receiver oh that's right i never replaced miles jack no not miles jack why did i say that eric kendricks well that's why we have shelton bryson to replace eric kendricks that's why you draft for depth i kind of forgot about that but shelton bryson outside linebacker and we are looking golden 79 overall i'm gonna move baker to uh to middle linebacker so we have a 96 offense 91 defense for 93 overall and that's going to continue to get better as we go throughout the season this so far i think is the best team i've built and it's kind of unfair to the other teams i've done so far because i have done this one for more seasons like we are in 2025 or 2026 because i want to win a super bowl but this is the final year no matter what our team's amazing if we don't win it all here i don't know what to tell you playoff time we're going to be in them at least right we went 14-3 96 offense 94 the lead 14-10 cowboys waste no time in scoring again and again 24-14 dallas as we get a field goal making a touchdown game cowboys get back on the board again we are down by a touchdown and then a huge interception by nick blackstock for a touchdown ties things at 31. okay yeah we're in a game right now this is a war actually the cowboys are hanging tough it's 34 to 31 jacksonville the cowboys are gonna score a touchdown this drive i mean this much is obvious 38 34. and now would be a good time for me to hop in down by four dj travis etn chase claypool we got some weapons not even talking
