r / choosing beggars psycho family demands damages my 4000 PC buckle up boys so a back story I'm a pretty hardcore PC gamer when I turned 17 I got a job saved my first pay packet for a few months and spent $2,000 PC over the past five years I kept upgrading at spending about 4,000 on it in total over that time six months ago I was having massive issues and it turned out my graphics card has fried sad face I had been saving for a new PC and spent a lot more on that so I had a spare cooked PC in my room I swapped out parts and turned it into a mini server to run in my room all good this Christmas we had family at our place including the young children my cousin who's 11 was looking in my room as it's quite techie so naturally he's entrusted another point this child is he and his brother are not technical they don't have mobiles iPads game consoles or even Internet they're very strange children and they're kind of the weird family you're forced to invite to gatherings because their family back to the story he notices my mini server and says wow you have two computers I basically just agreed to save the effort of explaining the difference to him he tells me he wishes he has one and just stares at me like I'm the reason he hasn't got his own I chuckle it off and we go back downstairs to the party later on my aunt his mum comes up to me and asks about why I need two computers I explained to her about one being my main PC and another being a server she does the technophobe hands which are the jazz hands people do when you explain something technological to them she asks if CB cousin could have the pcs so he can play fortnight in Pokemon one it's mine now - it's a server not a standard PC 3 they also have no internet or knowledge of how to set up a PC I basically just flatly same as sorry she storms off almost in a tantrum now I consider as a normal type family these things just don't happen I told my dad who doesn't like them and he just laughs loudly we're getting weird now CB cousin literally sits in my room sitting against my server under my desk for probably five hours I him to come back down and he just says no he's comfortable and just sits there so it gets to about 10 p.m. and people are leaving seedy aren't uncle gather things and get ready to go they say CB cousin won't leave without a PC they look at me like this is my fault and I am wondering where the discipline is CB aunt goes upstairs to get him while the rest of us kind of sit awkwardly silent in the hallway they are gone about five minutes I mean it's not a big house grabbed that little T WT s hands and pull him downstairs I go up to see what the issue is in CB cousin is literally mounting my server he has his arms and legs wrapped around it all cables pulled out and on the floor everywhere halfway across the room where he obviously tried to drag it cables are clipped cables that have been yanked out so all broken let me remind you this child is almost 12 I was almost immediately being pinged by my discord from players letting me know my game servers had gone down for those who don't know about servers pulling the plug is very bad as they need to be shut down properly I just shout loudly to get the eff out the madness peeks at this point as my cousin looks up at me and hisses yes hisses like a cat or fat snake CB ant starts accusing me agreed to the highest degree and drags CB cousin from the room downstairs to where basically 15 people are waiting to see the result of the carnage they tell me I'll be receiving a bill for the therapy CB cousin will likely need after a traumatic event I caused which could have been easily avoided as for the server I needed to buy new cables one of the storage drives had shattered when he let it fall over moving it onto its side after about a week a thing was back to normal I've joined my dad brother in non contact with psycho family but there's a little bit extra last week I received a random Facebook message from a page called PC donations asking me if I had any spare pcs to donate to children who Gary's fortunate in my local area a small town page had been created about two hours prior and had zero likes and activity etc genus TL DR cousin notices my old PC now server running in my room spends five hours sitting against it refuses to go home Rip's cables out and tries to move it pushing it over breaking a drive mounds it and hisses at me like a cat get accused of causing traumatic psychological damage lady I sold air mattress to came back a year later to ask for a refund when I moved in with my now husband I decided to sell my air mattress since we now had a guest bedroom with a real bed I posted it on next-door before I realized my local next door was an utter chow I'd had the air mattress for a year or two only used it twice and bought it for 175 so I listed it for 50 I also put in the listing that I'd never had any issues with it true a woman emailed me and asked me if she could come see it I agreed and she asked me to make sure it was set up so she could check it out fair enough i inflated it and was ready when she arrived she spent no less than 25 minutes testing it out lying on it rolling around asking me to be quiet so she could listen for air leaks all was good and I again told her I'd never had any issues with it but had only used it twice after 30 minutes of watching her I've in my living room she said she would take it but only had 30 I told her again what I had paid for it and that I wouldn't take less than 50 she told me a long story about her limited income and how it was used and I wouldn't get somebody to pay that much etc I refused to budge and she grumpily went home to get more money I took it gahafer the mattress she left I praise the good lord I would never have contact with her again right wrong over a year later I must work and my cell phone rings I pick it up and here's the conversation me hello crazy lady CL hi this is CL long trying to reach me no I want you to pay for delivery happened a few years ago selling a nice marble table on Kidd og in mint condition for 1500 after a few back-and-forth stealing with low balling offers finally agreed to 1200 and set up a time for them to pick it up Dave they husband and wife show up 30 minutes late I can see they are driving a car and there is no way this seventy inch table is going to fit after inspecting the table trying to find there nothing wrong they could only comment on the veining might make the table not as strong as something so I ignore whatever comment they made and ask if they are going to take the table CB oh well we have to rent a van to get it to our place and that's going to cost me 250 so I can offer 950 for the table with that considered me the price is 1200 as agreed it doesn't matter to me if you have to rent a van CB how are you set for your furnace me what are you talking about clearly confused at this moment and thinking these people must be insane CB I can give you a discount if you give us the table I'm a furnace installer me price is 1200 I'm not entertaining offers for furnace installation CB ok well it doesn't seem like you're being reasonable we have to pay to move it and you should cover our costs I just said no and showed them the door a week later I ended up selling the table for 1,400 I've encountered plenty of people not bringing enough money but this was certainly on another level got greedy got nothing was in a UK supermarkets waiting in line for the self scanning checkouts was about four from the front of the queue due to technical difficulties contactless payments in UK you can pay by tapping your card or phone on the card machine were done and you had to insert your card in the machine into your PIN or pay cash a guy mid to late twenties at one of the registers had only brought his phone as he was going to use contactless to pay so wasn't able to pay for his groceries which came to a grand total of two point five zero about three I am a big believer of paying it forward and comma so being the good person that I am I stepped forward and offered to pay the to see beggar then says that he actually need a few other bits so could I wait while he goes to get them I say ok thinking it might be one or two more items but he brings a whole basket full of groceries including beer that would have cost at least 50 item that I'm only paying for the original two items and he responds with its oil nothing after some painstaking deliberation I told him that I would have to go with nothing paid for my shopping and left it's been a week and I'm still in shock that he thought I was going to pay for all his groceries [Music] you
