Ravager Pets inside Decked Out!?? - Hermitcraft 7: #52

[Music] i can't keep up i'm just having the hardest time the demand is just too high too many hermits doing too many runs of decked out so that means you guys get to just suffer through me working on decked out a little bit today let me lock things off here because i am out of compasses in the system loot is running low the shop is basically bought out i just got a lot we need to do and zoom was afk but i want to do a little bit more than just normal maintenance today the maintenance takes me probably three to four hours every day of building new loot chests hiding new shulkers in the shopping district binding compasses updating spreadsheets relocating ravagers that are stuck in the dungeon which i'm sure you'll get to see in a few minutes because they're probably stuck again and just all sorts of things but i'm getting some feedback from a lot of the hermits like azuma and green and hypno and just a bunch of other people all basically saying a lot of things in common one is they don't feel like they're finding enough loot so they're kind of just going in and getting the artifacts and coming out so i want to give them like a lot more incentive to explore so we're going to add a little a couple more like loot systems today maybe beef up the power of the loot finder card as well and i want to add more secrets lots of secrets so first things first this right here is where the compasses go for the hermits as they put a key in one of these compasses will pop out you can see there's not a large amount of compasses here right now let's fix that so the first thing i do is consult my handy-dandy spreadsheet with all my lodestones on it and find one that is available and hasn't been looted in a while that looks like it's ready to uh hold some stash we approach the lodestone and click thus binding the compass we then make sure that the hopper underneath the hopper minecart is empty so they can suck up the compass and turn on the comparator and then we just add in our loot box token into the dropper and then once we get it enough we uh we pop them over here into the skadoodler one two three four that is four compasses ready to go not nearly enough i need to do probably another 10. tension is rising sneaky ravager zuma patiently waiting afk checking out the lights almost lit up right now there are 31 lodestones hidden throughout the dungeon i have four more here through uh generous donations of the other hermit so i want to get four new lodestone stations hooked up because uh you gotta gotta have some bride you gotta have some new spots so let's add one in the forest there cover up the load stand one in the blackstone area one on the keep and why not let's do our last one in the keep as well okay for real for real this is absolutely nuts we're now like maybe two and a half three hours later since the last clip it's just gone just go i got one compass left everything i did this morning i have to do again look they're everywhere they don't go away seriously the hermits are running this game as fast as i can restock the compasses this is nuts okay i just put out a fresh bash of shulker boxes up in the shopping district we got about 10 coins in the skadoodler over there i should be actually caught up at least for 10 minutes now so i don't want this to be about maintenance here i want to move on to new interesting things and decked out and i'm currently standing on it so here it is here is the fun new idea it may look like an ordinary pink shelter but no no it is the mystery box what i want to do and i'm not sure if i want to make this an auction or if i want to sell it i'm leaning towards just selling it right away i want to fill this with a bunch of goodies like maybe some beast bites let's see we'll do let's put in like eight beast bites because they're tasty and fun i think i want to put in a couple of teleportation orbs because these are becoming more useful due to uh shall we just say some of the things i'm hiding in the dungeon uh these are gonna be more and more useful to have around uh we're gonna put in a a dungeon key all right we're basically making a box that they're going to have to buy that they won't know what's in it but i'm going to make it worth their while so they're going to have a bunch of beast bites they could take in the dungeon a teleportation orb which if they're smart is going to be very good it's gone just killed himself this is what happens but the real prize the real prize of this mystery box isn't gonna be some some product that you can buy it is going to be uh what do i call this let's say we'll call it uh the the uh [Music] infinite wisdom of awesome stuff that you should know so we are going to be selling a book and in this book i am going to write the location or some major secret of the dungeon perhaps a coordinate perhaps something to look for in the dungeon that will then lead to quite a good prize but it won't be easy to get it won't be easy to get i might even make it a a multi-step thing or something i'm not sure what i'm gonna write in here and i'm not gonna show you guys because it's gotta stay a mystery okay okay mystery box on hold i don't know what's going on apparently my golem here the one that attracts the ravagers hi hi yeah it fall down the hole you jerk why does he keep dying that is a two and a half block gap right there between the bars and the two car i need some i need to make another goal now i can make another golem and i think i need to make this three full blocks i suppose like that we'll back this up even more yeah all right new golem new golem tight quarters but hopefully this works excellent okay you stay up there now you can't move anywhere you can't move off the thing because you're more than a block you're just gonna stay right there and you're gonna be super happy please don't die anymore okay change of plans a little bit because i think i've actually got two things which are good here we've got a mystery box and i'm pretty sure this will be bought by the time this video comes out so this is the mystery box here i added a whole bunch of beast bites which is food that they can take into the dungeon which is way more useful than you think i've added a stealth chewbook i've added a loot finder to book i've added a dungeon key and two teleportation orbs which i'm gonna start making those be way more important they're not gonna be just for escaping uh and the price is going to be 40 coins so let's put this up for sale well that didn't take long that did not take long at all i just restocked everything here including putting up the mystery box like an hour ago and it's gone somebody etho bought the thing right away like it was like it was up there for like 10 minutes and someone bought it i don't know who it was well this is good this is good i'm excited mystery boxes are clearly a hit so now i want to move on to my next new addition to decked out and that is going to be challenge compasses that's right i am going to be introducing challenge compasses which are multi-phase compasses and you're going to have to buy one they're going to be expensive you follow compass a to a destination in the dungeon when you throw that compass in out pops compass b which then takes you to another location in the dungeon usually in the opposite corner and it's gonna take you way over there if you make it all the way over there and throw compass b in that hole you will then get some kind of mega prize i'm not quite sure yet so green donated a whole bunch of ancient debris today like 11 pieces so i cookificated those up into uh into the the ingots and things is this going here let's say hi to this girl hi iskall how's it going in there i cooked these i kicked the engine debris up into into ingots and made load stones and everything and i'm gonna put two new lodestones in specifically for the first challenge compasses just me and this here button just you know just a button sticking out there i'm kind of tempted to press it so yeah pretty much everything at this shop just sells out all the time i just can't keep it stock so i got to start raising my prices i've been fluctuating the price of keys i went from like 15 up to and they bought and they sold out immediately to 25 and nobody bought any i brought it back down to 20 now and i think two of them sold today the shield not so popular i think corrales did a run with them the teleportation orbs i think i got to raise the price on those i think i'm gonna pop a shield out for now and we're gonna put the challenge compass in there now this is this is kind of you know a special thing here so the price was very you know up in the air i decided to do 15 coins you still need a key to get in and your risk of dying is pretty high because you got to go to opposite ends of the dungeon it ain't going to be easy uh but you are as you go into the dungeon with your normal key you're actually going to get a regular key as well so you're going to be going in with double compasses a challenge compass and a regular compass it's up to them to decide how they want to balance all that and of course i should say that no compasses can leave the dungeon you go in you die with them or you come out with a loot no no no okay this is bad we lost a ravager i i done drowned ravager now and this guy is very close to drowning too so let me show you what i did here uh can i even show you how oh oh well how does he hit me through the walls what the heck oh we need a pork chop now okay so i got him blocked off you really can't see what's going on here but i took some slabs out from the roof there and in the process it allowed him to go up too high and the water wasn't pushing him anymore so his face was stuck in the water but he couldn't get his bits past the ledge there blah blah blah ravager dead ravager dead and i'm pretty sure this guy has taken a bunch of ticks as well too so we're gonna throw some uh some happiness in his face there yeah yeah get better get gets so much better that's seven eight these guys got a lot of health nine nine splash healing two extra whammy jamming potions in your face are we good now are we good are you gonna stop eating my face and i'm gonna try i'm trying to save you time for some water elevator ravager liftificator bubble fixing stuff so i gotta break this it's gonna pop that sign off i gotta put a let's see right there yep okay and very good now that that trap door has a little bit of height so it'll keep the ravager a little bit lower and then step two hi friend hi oh his face is right there okay uh i think we're gonna put one there and one there that's gonna allow me to put water there and there but i think i gotta go back oh this is terrifying he is gonna eat my bits okay uh let's see somewhere right around yup hi friends look at the fangs that don't mind me just working on the underside of some ravens or bits here uh i gotta break those pressure plates but look if i do he's just gonna so i think i have to break i think i have to break that block he's too big he can't fall down yep everything's fine everything's fine everything's fine super duper fine okay good okay these water sources are easy bam and bam close that off these might be a little bit trickier though i gotta get a water no way i can't do that from here okay they should do it water sores there should be enough i think oh wait i gotta break this right uh go up way be free everything's fine up the swoop there you go oh that was a nightmare okay is everything good everything's fine nope that's coming again oh okay well he's up there and we lost the ravager got to replace him okay okay here's my completely foolproof plan that can't possibly end in my most horrific death uh we have two ravagers left we're going to twerk them down here from over here down the thing hit the activator rail uh and then i'm gonna put water right here to flow down and and hopefully like push them into the underground waterway that will then take them over to another thing i think here we go beast number seven go i hope this works i hope this works out this works okay all right he's out no no no no get flow no no oh no oh this is bad is kitty get out can you get out he can't get out he can't get out everything's fine the situation's totally under control here i freak out they can swim up okay then hey now how a little bit over here a little something something there yeah yeah you can't get out you can't do anything you're dumb i'm not afraid of you give me a little bit now if we if we swoop though i need to eat some pork chops now if if we scoop the water out he just should fall right back down there and everything's fine right yeah yeah you jerk down get down flow flow more flowing be free mr ravager be free i'm gonna i'm gonna maybe not i'm gonna go over here so he can't see me now does he see me he don't see he don't see uh oh there he goes there it goes schwoop everything is glorious there he goes around the corner oh today was not supposed to be all about tactile but guys i just had the best idea ever everybody's gonna love this oh my gosh look at everybody down here uh hi what's happening right here anyways i got an idea guys i got an idea this is gonna be the most glorious thing ever we are introducing ravager pets introducing ravager pets you've always dreamt about it but now the time has come you can get your very own ravager inside the decked out dungeon all you have to do is name it look at everybody swarming around they love it first you need to acquire an official decked out ravager tag second go inside the dungeon find a furry friend and use that name tag to name him your name's beast this is the best part if your fluffy friend then kills another player inside decked out you'll be awarded a free dungeon key each time i will be checking the the server logs multiple times a day good luck and find yourself a cuddly friend to help your cause oh this is gonna this is gonna spice things up here we go decked out ravager tags right there and wait for it wait for it bam let's see who reads it first corrales is reading it hypnos reading it comes reading it cub likes it hypno likes it hypno wants okay now for the price decked out ravager coin i think a ravager tag i think i'm gonna go eight coins i can't fit coins or a coin uh let's see we'll do that eight coins there we go i think that's a good price you to invest it you got to tag the ravager you're probably going to die in the process but it's the gift that keeps on giving as long as he holds your name they're swarming they're swarming bam there it is who's putting their coins in first did they just run to go get their coins they did they did there they go oh hypno's gonna get the first one and bam yes oh you gotta be kidding me hypnos going in now i saw him he just had a name tag in his hand i think he's going in to make a pet are you kidding me comes ravisher already oh there's a lot of clank there hip now [Music] there comes another one i'm pretty sure his compass is pointing to the key but there's two beasts in the keep one of them is cub's pet this is gonna be great see there's that clank working those walls are lifted up and he just anchored from super far away oh he's right there he's right there do you not see him or did you tag him no he didn't tag him he should totally go tag that one right now oh his heartbeat is cranking oh [Music] nope didn't even tag it oh he's going to a dead end he's got the name tag out oh he's going to go steal comes ravager oh oh it's right there and doink he got it hit those beasts well done well done hypno oh and he just scored his loot oh what a pro what a pro get out man your clank is so high i hope those evokers aren't up they are oh no oh you're done for my friend can he make it can you make it what a run okay i've got one more idea here that i'm pretty excited about something i want to add to the dungeon and this is gonna be another big deal a big puzzle for the players to solve we're inside here we're barricaded off i think there's a beast like right around the corner here somewhere i don't know he's growling at me anyways i've had this this room here that was kind of long and narrow and i never decorated it and i just came up with an idea for what i want to do with it the idea is i want to have a five by five platform raised up here and the whole floor of it is gonna be filled with hoppers like this so blam blam and do a little bit more blim-blam over here good all right 5x5 with hoppers and now i want to take some colored carpet i arbitrarily picked uh at least three colors because they kind of fit with the dungeon and we're gonna randomly place them on here like blacks are gonna go here and there and like that and that and we're gonna do like browns and stuff like that all right and we're gonna do is set up some kind of chaotic random pattern here between the black the brown and the gray carpet here and basically they're gonna have to drop their compass inside one of these hoppers and if they drop it in the right hopper they will win a marvelous prize that will be fortunate for centuries to come and blah blah blah blah it'll be good it'll be good stuff if they drop it in the wrong hopper well let's just say they're going to awaken the spirits of the dungeon all right well that was a lot easier than i expected i said i came together in just like a few minutes here this is the final 5x5 grid here okay and they're going to enter the room probably from right there and see this lectern here and read the book drop your compass if you dare but choose your tile carefully choose wisely and supreme treasures will be yours choose unwisely and you will immediately awaken the dungeon spirits and and what that means i'm basically going to start well let me finish the book hold on i got a little carried away there and uh three clues will be hidden within the dungeon to guide you find them all so that is exactly what i'm doing i think i'm going to try and put them all on lecterns and hide them in the dungeon on a book and it'll give a clue and those three clues together will be able to tell you which of these uh which of these carpets with a hopper under it is the right one to drop your compass on uh and you'll need all three clues to use deduction to put all three rules together to figure it out which i think is pretty cool um but if you put it in the wrong compass uh if you put the compass in the wrong uh if you drop it in the wrong spot down here uh oh i actually put a test item in there i should probably take that oh no okay uh if you put it in the wrong one this torch turns off and i just happen to have a clank line right here so i just enable a little clock here and i just start right watch this bam right there every one of those is going to be a potential clock i just start spamming the clang system um and it's not working right now because the game isn't on but if the game was on your client would be like it's gonna be a bad time taking down the bat on the ceiling all right we are done this was easy this was a this is gonna be a great little puzzle and i think it's gonna really pick their curiosity i have the three clues and i'm gonna write them on books and i'm gonna hide them in the dungeon now i'm not gonna tell you where they are i'm not gonna tell you guys what the clues are you're gonna have to watch the other herman's videos to find out but i do need to take these down hopefully my friend isn't around here anywhere is he overhearing school or i gotta take those out take that out take that out are we good all right let me let me skadoodle this down here do that we are out now the prize is in the dropper there um obviously you know it's just a book basically it just says congrats you won give this book to the dungeon master tango and you will win the prize so they have to meet up with me and i will uh hand their prize to them in person oh i hid those books in very very good places and one of them has its own little mini puzzle to itself this is gonna be good honestly i think we did a pretty fantastic job today of of keeping decked out keeping it spiced up we got we got mystery boxes we got challenge compasses which notice someone has bought someone has run the challenge compass can't wait to find out who this and we got decked out ravager tags all kinds of new things that that the players can do to kind of spice the game up a little bit here um and i think i think some people a lot of trading has been happening today so i fully expect some sets to be handed in soon and as always guys i want to thank you for watching and all the support and Spoilers for the current scores of Decked Out as of Oct 1st under this spoiler wall: Cub now has 4 points vs Etho's 2. Yet Cub doesn't seem too confident. Supporting clips: #1, #2

Also, if you haven’t seen the clip of Tango from 5 days ago, he predicts Etho will win Decked Out. Not a spoiler, because it’s 5 days old and it’s simply in response to someone in chat saying that Etho has played Decked Out for the first time (as if Tango wouldn’t have known that).

Etho is competitive but so is Cub. I wouldn’t count Cub out at all.

Overall, I like how Tango’s adding on to DO and I’m guessing this’ll factor into Etho’s videos eventually, but nothing major has happened (yet).
