what's up guys welcome back to the channel Toronto North Africa crocodile skull it's hard to find fossils that nice how would you like to get out of these let's go all I want a thousand tooth I'm trying to get 3 000 fish I'd like to get a thousand for it wow this is a fantastic collection I can tell by looking at it on the table that this is a genuine fossil it's a prisca Cara and this guy right here this is another fossil I'm really familiar with really faked quite often I can tell by the shape of the snout that it's a dinosaur the teeth look good this thing is phenomenal really nice specimen it's the best one I've ever seen good day folks today we will show you all the moments when customers came with rare fossils at the pawn shop dinosaur chip this is dinosaur what dinosaur Cooper Lake dinosaur poop doesn't smell like poop I don't stink it's a very pretty Stone they've been making jewelry out of it for hundreds and hundreds of years it looks like two different meals I mean we have two different textures that had barbecue sauce on it or something how much do you want for a forty dollars a pound you know I like my Jamal just take a look at this sure Jeff will be able to tell me if this is dinosaur crap or a piece of crap is this dinosaur poop from what I can tell this is It's fossilized done 20 million years yours will look like this one dinosaur's trash is another man's treasure so what's this stuff worth most of the stuff's going to sell for about 10 to 15 dollars a pound meteorite in this deal it's a meteorite that Christopher has found I have something here that is out of this world a meteorite meteorite not Kryptonite right what's it made out of nickel iron and just ordinary chondritic Stone it's only been on the ground for maybe three to five months approximately I mean it's not of this Earth traveled billions of miles to land here and in your hands you know I dig it I think it's really neat I want someone to look at it sounds good how much did you want for it 4 700 rig then calls Robert varish a meteorite Hunter to get the rock evaluated so what are your concerns about this stuff is it a meteorite okay all right that's interesting you saw how that danced on there this is really exciting I'm going to look at it a little closer so it's a meteorite that rock is older than this planet wow that's pretty cool the big question what do you think it's worth this is a four thousand dollar meter okay oh cool thanks man you're welcome finally both parties agree on a price tag of 2100 after a tough negotiation 1500 bucks could you do 22.50 we take two grandport no I can't go that low yeah I'll give you 21. I won't give you a dime more that's it and that's it that is it it's one of our hearts sounds fair okay dinosaur eggs Rhonda is at the pawn shop trying to sell what she believes to be a pair of dinosaur eggs worth twenty thousand dollars I've been until these are a couple dinosaur eggs yeah normally I would think you were crazy and just brought me in a giant rock mind if I take a look at it sure I mean I guess they kind of look like eggs if they've been flattened any idea what you want for them 20 000. I got a buddy named Tom who is a paleontologist sure he concludes that the eggs are 70 to 80 million years old but believes that the crack in the egg is added to make it look like a pair of eggs and makes them less valuable well in my opinion these are absolutely original eggs these are 70 to 80 million years old but I see a crack in this area that comes around that indicates this egg was actually added to this piece of stone knowing that they're not original to each other it makes it less valuable this egg has been identified as dendrolithis a duckbill dinosaur they were one of the favorite meals of a Tyrannosaurus Rex the value of these eggs 300 to 600 an egg in this condition that's a big difference for twenty thousand so I'd offer you 400 bucks can you do 800 I really can and I'll tell you what I'll go 500 bucks okay all right all right fossils collection a customer named David has acquired a set of fossils at an estate sale and is discussing their value with Rick what do we got here I have a set of house North Africa crocodile skull it's hard to find fossils that nice same thing with the fish now this T-Rex tooth is cool because it's a T-Rex tooth how would you like to get out of these the skull I want 8 000 tooth I'm trying to get 3 000 fish I'd like to get a thousand for it have you had it checked out by anybody no do have a buddy let me go find Andre paleontologist he knows all about the stuff okay Rick then brings a paleontologist to determine the authenticity of the fossils wow this is a fantastic collection of course I'm gonna go for the Tyrannosaur too first um I hate to tell you but this is a replica it feels like an artificial substance this is definitely not genuine I can tell by looking at it on the table that this is a genuine fuss it's a prisca Cara and this guy right here this is another fossil I'm really familiar with really faked quite often I can tell by the shape of the snout that it's a dinosaur the teeth look good this thing is phenomenal what's the fish worth 500 bucks the dirosaurus really nice specimen it's the best one I've ever seen sixteen thousand dollars I'm gonna pass on the fish with this right here I'll give you 9 000 just for the skull it really really is nine five nine thousand dollars we got a deal yeah we got a deal all right sweet elephant bird egg Diana is at the pawn shop trying to sell an elephant bird egg you must own really large chickens no no I have no chickens this is an elephant bird egg okay I bought it for my business I sell fossils and other Natural History things this is interesting I know they dig these things up and they like piece them together from several eggshells yeah how much do you like to get out of it 2500 or if you don't mind I do have a friend who's a paleontologist if I can get them down here to take a look at it I think that's great that's right I'm calling in a expert a friend of Rick's who is a paleontologist is being brought in to verify its authenticity wow elephant bird wow these are pretty rare they're often fake too though this is actually one of the larger eggs that I've seen so is it real it looks real but we need to take a closer look okay so we have an actual elephant bird egg we do have an actual elephant bird egg but there is some condition issues that I'd like to point out all of these abrasions here that's where the pieces didn't quite fit together they just kind of ground them into place that's really going to affect the value I would appraise this egg fifty nine hundred dollars I think is a fair appraisal the final offer made to the customer by Rick was for twenty eight hundred dollars and the deal was completed all right so you want 2 500 for it well now I'm thinking three thousand tell you what I'll give you 2 800 for it but your paleontologist really got my hopes up 2800 is best I could do fine okay all right sweet we have a deal dinosaur coprolight Rick and Dave are discussing a piece of rock that Dave claims is a dinosaur copper light fossilized dinosaur poop dinosaur chip this is dinosaur what dinosaur Cooper Lake dinosaur poop doesn't smell like poop I don't stink it's a very pretty Stone they've been making jewelry out of it for hundreds and hundreds of years this rock here could be you know made up into over a thousand earrings it looks like two different meals I mean we have two different textures that had barbecue sauce on it or something how much do you want for a forty dollars a pound you know I'd like my Jamal just take a look at this sure Rick has kept vehicle and plans to have a gemologist Jeff examine it to determine if it is truly copper light Jeff will be able to tell me if this is dinosaur crap or a piece of crap holy is this dinosaur poop from what I can tell this is It's fossilized done 20 million years yours will look like this so what's this stuff worth most of the stuff's gonna sell for about 10 to 15 dollars a pound not in chunks to speak all right thanks Jeff he finally agreed to sell it for 1 100. I'll give you a thousand bucks there's not a lot of collectors of this stuff 1500 I will give you 1100 bucks total that's the best I can go 12 1100 1150 1100 all right all right one dinosaur's trash is another man's treasure [Music] mysterious Rock Theresa came to the shop with a strange rock that weighs about 40 pounds The Rock was found in southern Utah and its unusual shape and appearance have caused several museums paleontologists and even a meteorite man to be baffled about what it is got something to hear it's a wee bit heavy thought maybe you might shed some light on what that is right there no one seems to know what it is it's a little different on the bottom oh it's even weirder on this side a really really odd shape I don't know what it is I've had it x-rayed it's not magnetic it's not dinosaur done let's see if we can find out what it is I will call the smartest guy I know and if he doesn't know it's extraterrestrial Rick is going to call a smart guy to see if he can shed some light on the mystery rock what the hell is it oh now that's interesting very nice well I know exactly what this is It's a concretion it is a natural formation when there is a void in rock and over millions of years water seeps through that and fills in that space with a different Rock so it's a rock that looks like a turd are there a lot of rocks like this yes so it's worthless unless you're a rock collector I guess I'm sorry it turned out that way but put this in your front yard it'll deter burglars because it looks like you have a really large dog thanks for bringing it in hey thank you bye-bye oreodon skull fossil an oreodon skull fossil was brought to the pawn shop to sell I have a Oregon fossil this is pretty cool man it looks like a pretty big set of Bones you have here this jaw is pretty big right here do you know much about this all I heard is that it's an Oregon how much are you looking to get for or a fair price will be about eighty five hundred dollars I'd like to have someone come down and take a look at it though that would be awesome Chumley is not sure if it's real but has a paleontologist friend who can come and take a look that's a really large auridon skull oreons were very diverse group of mammals from the Legacy kind of closely related to camels and pigs they're pretty rare well there's definitely a skull there but it looks like there's a lot more a little pile of bones going here too it's not just a skull this is an Associated skeleton this is where the animal laid down and died so I definitely see some fill here so I wouldn't really consider that restoration this bone looks really good this fossil is in as original condition as you really can find one these teeth should glow under black light oh yeah look at that those are the real teeth a specimen that's unique and this complete I would expect a retail price of 14 500. the seller should expect to receive a good price for it would you take seven thousand dollars for it no I came pretty sad on that 85. I think I'm gonna have to pass on it I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that want it but for that price it's going to be a tough sale here in my shop okay dinosaur bone Allison visits the pawn shop to sell dinosaur bones um got my attention so do you know what dinosaur this is from I have no idea I just know that it's a dinosaur bone it's a big dinosaur I am just like baffled incredible so how much do you want for this thing I was thinking forty thousand forty thousand dollars it's pretty old we don't even know what kind of dinosaur it's from a lot of times these dinosaur bones are not all complete sometimes only that might be real dinosaur [Music] all right so I'm gonna put that back for you put his toe back put his toe back let me get someone down here to see if the entire thing is real that would be great Rick is interested in buying the bone and calls in an expert to authenticate it so there it is wow I think it's real this is a camarosaurus camarosaurus was a long neck dinosaur that lived in the Jurassic period okay to authenticate we'll take a look at this to see if there's any cast pieces that definitely feels like a cast toe these metacarpals these are real so that's great the dead giveaway is gonna be if we can see any cell structure so this bone this is definitely real take a look at the humerus look at that yeah this bone is definitely legit if this thing came into my museum I'd be very comfortable appraising it at 25 000. well thanks again man I really appreciate it thank you ultimately agreed to sell it for 18 000. I mean what would you take for it what about twenty one thousand I'll give you 15 Grand Fork how about 20. well I'll give you eighteen thousand not a penny more that's that's my top dollar Health sweet um I will meet you right over there and we'll do some paperwork Cave Bears skeletal Paul Rick meets Diana who is selling a fossilized paw of a Cave Bear which she claims is over 10 000 years old and worth one grand the guy right I'm the guy I guess okay I've got something you need all right that looks creepy it's the skeletal paw of a Cave Bear this is from a Cave Bear really cool uh these things are definitely collectible how would you looking for a thousand I have no idea if that's a great price I have a friend that's a paleontologist uh so let me give him a call and have him take a look at it these were massive animals that ranged all over Europe and Asia these animals are remarkable there's so much original material out there it's not really worth it to fake these I see some Putty work done right here I don't see anything that stands out as uh unusual so what's it worth this came into the museum I would appraise it at about nine hundred dollars the final agreement was reached at 425 books what's the best you can offer me 400 bucks can you do 500 I'll go four in a quarter that's really the best second go can you squeak it up to Forfeit no okay well I like you 425 all right Mastodon Tusk Rick Harrison was approached by a man who had a Tusk he wanted to sell I have a massive on Tusk I want to sell today where did you get a mastodon Tusk 20 years ago my great grandfather was on a dig in Florida he was an archaeologist I gotta say this is a first it looks really damn old I'll tell you that they were in North America for millions of years they most likely got extinct from when man finally came to the North American continent pretty soon they were all gone normal Ivory doesn't look like this this looks really really old can I call somebody to check this out I really don't have time I need to get to work man all right how much you looking to get out of it I'd like to get 800. he offered 500 bucks and the man agreed we take 400 bucks for us I don't even know what it is I don't know how rare they are let's just get this done at 5 50. I'll give you 500 bucks no way I can get 550 for this if I knew what I was buying maybe but no 500 is good all right hey Rick Hey Thomas how's it going well it's definitely authentic fossil Ivory my estimation is this is probably getting one we're from a thousand to ten thousand years old it definitely has age but it's not an elephant relative at all fossil walrus tusk you can see by the curvature and how it curves down toward the center this is typical of what walrus Ivory would have versus elephant Ivory or any sort of elephant relative such as Mastodon or Mammoth I think you've done all right the good news is the value on on this Ivory has gone up to over four to five hundred dollars a pound now this is going to be 12 to 1500 a piece all right heck I did good well thanks man you're the best you're more than welcome this is where we'll end our video we hope you enjoyed watching make sure to comment hit the like And subscribe buttons hit that notification Bell for more videos like this and share this video with your family and your friends see you soon
