good day folks and welcome back to the channel I'm here to see about selling this 18601 162 us engraving plate that made the stamp Washington 24 Cent cool I mean I've had stamps in here I've never had the plate for a stamp I have never seen anything like this anything really wow I'm coming out to the pawn trial to try to sell my press plate of a 24 Cent George Washington stamp I saw the stamp go for about $155,000 so I figure that this being the one that it made it from that it would be worth a lot more than that so today we'll show you the moments when the rarest items came on Pawn Stars Major League Baseball items RI and Cory visited C Park eager to explore game used items from baseball Legend Miguel Caba Jordan welcomed them to the Champions Club where they saw the World Series trophies and items from kaba's career Rick Cory welcome to the Champions Club at Cera Park now you can see we've got some of our World Series trophies on display and is that for sale it is not for sale but we do have a great collection related to Miguel Cabrero one of the most iconic baseball players of all time he just retired right his last season here in 2023 and um these artifacts all relate to his career a game used game worn autographed items so the first item we'll look at is a bat that Mel caber actually used to get one of his 3,000 hits and you can see it has the the pine tar on it that he uses and then his name at the end and then here you can see there's a hologram number on the end of of the bat you can enter this into the major league baseball database and it'll tell you when it was used uh who the pitcher was the result of the play okay pretty cool uh so the first jersey is a home Jersey that he was wearing it when he hit his 52nd career home run the gray Jersey was worn on the road uh during Miguel's career are those like spices maybe even like a barbecue rub but no this is actually authenticated dirt from Major League Baseball a one is from his 3,000th hit and then this is from his 500th home run okay this baceball has this one with Miguel caber's career so again was one of those historic 600 doubles from his career that's really cool really cool and really a part of History they examine Cab's 3,000 hit bat with a pinear and hologram jerseys from Key moments like his 52nd home run and jars of authenticated Milestone dirt Jordan priced the ball at $1,800 dirt at $80 each and the bat at $4,000 all right big question the price so how much is the ball $2,200 all right and the 500 home run dirt is $80 the bat $4,000 for the bat the away jersey $10,000 home run Jersey the Home Run Jersey is a $20,000 item I'm in on the dirt do 120 for both dirts we'll do it all right the rest of this is all you man Cory negotiated $120 for both dirt jars Rick bought the ball for $1,500 give you $1,200 for the ball I can't do 1,200 can you do $1,800 I can do 1,500 $1,500 for the double ball you got a deal can we check out the field let's check it out out no this is awesome man yeah really beautiful view and you can see out there there's an alkine statue he was a Hall of Fame outfielder for us you can see that his arm is is is reaching out to catch a ball the sculptor put a spike in the mid so if anyone ever hits a ball out that way K will catch it they stuck in that M because he didn't drop he didn't drop baseballs I mean I thanks so much for like giving us the exclusive and bringing us out here it's our pleasure thanks for visiting Detroit and CER Park they finish with a field tour showcasing the Tigers history engraving plate for 24 cents stamp Michael brought in a unique 1861 to 62 us engraving plate used for a 24 C Washington stamp Rick was intrigued having dealt with stamps but never a plate I'm here to see about selling this 1860 162 us engraving plate that made the stamp Washington 24 Cent cool I mean I've had stamps in here I've never had the plate for a stamp I have never seen anything like this anything really wow I'm coming out to the pawn trial to try to sell my press plate of a 24 C George Washington stamp I saw the stamp go for about $15,000 so I figured that this being the one that it made it from that it would be worth a lot more than that so Michael estimating its value much higher than a stamps believed it could fetch a significant sum he acquired it from an old stamp collection where in the world did you get this I got it in a collection of old stamps and that was at the bottom of the Box okay um they had three people look at it who were very big stamp enthusiasts and they were like like you where did you get that that is amazing the first US Government stamps came out in the mid 1800s right around 20 years before this one was made it basically works the same way as a printing plate does for making money the odd thing is I wouldn't even know how to price this I mean you know you know how to price a stamp you go straight to the catalog you look it up right I can get a guy down here and this guy knows everything there is to know about stamps great just so you know I mean it might be illegal to own this thing because I know it's illegal to have plates for money and the closest thing to money is stamps I mean they've been used as currency in this country before we have to make sure it was legitimately acquired from the government I don't want anything coming back at me later on absolutely let me get someone in here they'll take a look at it rick expressed caution due to potential legality issues considering its similarity to money plates he invited Len a stamp expert to evaluate what I want to know is is it real was it used for stamps is it legal to even have one of these that's true these dies were in the possession of the US government and they were held and either destroyed they were melted down because they won't be reproduced should not be in anybody's hands but theirs so is this the real deal it's done in Reverse it's done correctly as you see here MH looking at this I see it has a copper top which is unusual no it's not the real deal because normally the dye is Ste Ste and it's engraved in the steel but it's normally the size of the stamp and that's definitely not the right size no it is when I saw it was copper I knew right away that something was wrong unfortunately it's a replica it's probably worth about a dollar Len identified it as a reproduction pointing out inconsistencies like its Copper Top and size disappointed Michael learned that it was only worth about a dollar as a decorative item man thanks for bringing it in I'm really disappointed that I can't sell it but I can take it home and give it to my daughter who will put it all over her walls with some ink despite the setback he planed to give it to his daughter for decoration James Bond credit card a package arrived containing a rare and special item a golden Visa credit card from the 2006 film Casino Royale featuring James Bond's name Rick excited about the collectible remembered how the movie had influenced the James Bond franchise hi golden silver in Clos to James Bond Visa credit card that was made for the 2006 film Casino Royale that is really cool 4,12 3456 7897 Dan yes hi so where did you get this this came from a collector and I love James Bond movie so when I saw this and it had James Spa name on a real credit card I had to have it yeah cedo Royale was the first time Daniel Craig played 007 and I thought he did an amazing job I I actually really liked him no I agree with you yeah who doesn't love James Bond I mean like he's cool personified Ann Fleming wrote the original James Bond book in the 1950s and for years he was trying to get financing to do a real Hollywood movie and he couldn't get one you know what ended up causing him to get all the traction what JFK in Life Magazine said he absolutely loved James Bond novels and after that they just flew off the shelves he had no problem getting films produced that's what you know created the James Bond we know today it's absolutely amazing how much do you want for it 1200 okay I have a friend who's a prop Master uh I wanted to come down here take a look at it just I just want to make sure it's legit I want to make sure they just didn't hand these things out like confetti I'll get back with you okay sounds SC watching a little bit he connected with the sender Dan who expressed an interest in selling the item for $1,200 to ensure it's authenticity Rick consulted a propm friend hope who confirmed its legitimacy and valued it at $1,200 there we go a very nice can you tell if that was actually used in the movie I watched the film and the only time you see a card in the film is in the opening when he goes to the hotel on the island and when he's handing her the card I couldn't understand why it was so dark on the back but now I know why because there is no information back there it's amazing how like it it'ss in7 and the expiration date is 0707 says James Bond it helps him with their character so I actually think that you have a real prop here okay cool what do you think it's worth I think it's a pretty nice piece I think you got a winner here I'd take about 1,200 probably for it rick entered into negotiations with Dan and eventually agreed on a final price of $1,100 all right so hope came in she definitely believes it was made for the movie and she also told me it's worth right around $1,200 so I mean what's your best price on it I I I have to stay at 12200 but you would take ,000 bucks for it no I'm not going to make a lot of money off it I'll give you 1,100 bucks for it I'm not going to pay retail for it I don't you got you got to deal 11 all right sweet um I'll get you a check out I really really appreciate it I'll be talking to you soon okay thank you so much have a good one the episode showcased the alert and value of rare items that often find their way to the pawn star shop Western Express Kitty ride Chum Le took a significant gamble when presented with a rare 1950 Valley Kitty horse and buggy ride by seller Rich intrigued by its uniqueness Chumley decided to inspect the item alone with a $1,000 spending limit A call came in from a guy selling something I think he said it was a horse and Rick gave me a $1,000 spending limit so I'm going to go check it out on my own this what you got for us it's a 1950 horse and buggy Bal Kitty ride I was 8 years old I walked in front of a grocery store with my mom and this was in front of the grocery store that's the reason I went to the grocery stores to ride one of these those are still still work oh works perfect watch this this thing is cool as hell if I can make a deal Rick will think I'm the man you want to pawn it or sell it I want to sell it how much did you want to sell it for $5,000 Rich recalled childhood memories of riding the attraction and wanted $5,000 however after daring negotiations Chumley took a risk and settled for a th000 confident in the ride's potential value well more than I think it's worth go ahead I'm listening to anything you offer it's a really cool piece but I'm going to have to put a couple thousand into it to get it restored I'd be looking somewhere to buy this for about maybe 700 no I would come down to 1,500 if you want I mean I can go up to $1,000 that's my spending limit that's what I feel comfortable on this thing you got a deal oh my God it's a babies you actually bought this yeah why well I PID ,000 bucks for it I know you probably think it's a little too much but I figured you know we could have someone restore it and it will be worth at least a few thousand I think it could be a good buy um all right let me go give Rick a call this is it rick jum you bought this yeah stepped up and bought it to show these guys that I know what I'm doing do you know if it works yeah it works pretty good here let me show you sometimes you oh yeah okay um you guys need to lube this thing up or something man it's squeaky so what' you pay well I paid 1,000 bucks actually that's not bad as far as restoring it I don't think it's worth restoring it I mean I've spend 5 to Seven Grand painting all artwork on this honestly I think 3500 is what you could sell this for right now you did your job I'm happy for good job you know what the rule is don't CH you bought it you clean it up get started following the purchase consulted an expert who confirmed the ride was in impressive working condition and estimated a selling price of $3,500 after restoration I knew I made an awesome deal and once I get this cleaned up I got a great idea to make a little extra cash before we sell it now that I spend some time getting the ride I bought all cleaned up now it's time to go make some serious money Chumley's bold decision paid off well turning the valley Kitty ride into a profitable success and highlighting his knack for Unique Investments this is where will end our video we hope you enjoyed watching it make sure to comment and hit that
