[Music] if someone were to come up to you and ask you tell me about this term that's mentioned in Titus chapter 2 and verse 13 this phrase our Blessed hope what is it how should we understand it and what does it mean for my life today how confident are you that you could share biblical truth with that person concerning this glorious event and be accurate that after you explained it to this person that Messiah would say well done you thoroughly understand my revelation concerning this terrific promise that God has given to his people you see the Bible tells us that we need to study to show ourselves approved and that means approved by God that we know his word and that we share his word with others and that word impacts how we live and when we look at many of the teachings and books that have been written about that blessed hope were also known as the rapture there is much air there is much confusion people seem to follow certain doctrines and different schools of thought and camps for this doctrine but very few can support all what they say about it from a literal interpretation of the Word of God no when you hear many talk about it several verses come into my mind that contradict some of their founding principles so my hope is this that by looking as we did in the previous video and now in this video that we can't know the places in the scripture that speaks about it and arrive at a proper understanding of what the Word of God says in order that we can share truth and that that truth can impact our lives you know I was amazed that one individual sent me a a video that someone taught concerning this this term our Blessed hope and it was amazing to me because the person wrote the man of lawlessness meaning the Antichrist will be revealed before the second coming now that is an obvious statement when Messiah comes the second time to establish his kingdom in order to complete the pouring out of the wrath of God he's coming he's going to destroy that wicked one the Antichrist that man of lawlessness and then he's going to set up his kingdom so obviously that Messiah before he comes the second time that man of lawlessness will be revealed that's not surprising in fact everyone believes that now issue is this individual he teaches that there is not a distinction between the Blessed hope or the rapture and the second coming he sees these things being synonymous meaning the Blessed hope and the second coming is one event the same event and it happens at the end of those final seven years well one who studies got word cannot arrive at that conclusion there is a difference and here's the biblical foundation we're gonna see this supported in a moment in a very well-known passage first of all we're going to see prior to the wrath of God being poured out God is going to send his Arch Angel mihail Messiah himself is coming together with him there is going to be the blast of the shofar and we've talked about how the dead in messiah their bodies are going to rise and those who are still alive they will also be risen up into the sky and there we will meet the lord i've mentioned this will be the third time that those who have already died it's only speaking of their bodies their souls are already in the heaven and we both our body and soul will rise and be changed and we will be with the lord and then when Messiah comes the second time realize the order first is that rapture that blessed hope then the wrath of God begins and then at the end of the wrath of God Messiah returns and this time we will be coming with them the Saints based upon that scripture that I've mentioned before 1st Thessalonians chapter 3 verse 13 we will be coming with him now someone and this video and the question that the gentleman had that sent me that link to the video asked me why can't this man be correct why can't the second coming and the Blessed hope be one and the same that Messiah comes we are changed we meet him in the air and then immediately return with him to Jerusalem to set up that Kingdom and rule and reign with him or that thousand years well let's answer that question specifically and to do so take out your Bible and look with me to the book of Matthew in chapter 24 the book of Matthew and chapter 24 now this section known as the Olivet discourse because primarily Messiah taught the vast majority of this section while he was on the Mount of Olives but the scripture begins with him departing from the temple and the disciples coming to him and asking him about the beautiful buildings on the Temple Mount and he speaks prophecy that all of those buildings not one stone will be left on another that has not been passed down now there's no question he's speaking about the destruction of Jerusalem that took place 40 years after he made that statement the destruction in 70 a.d but here's what we need to see that prophetic statement and he was right you can go to jerusalem today and see some of those stones still there having been cast down from the Temple Mount he was right and what's the purpose of that to tell us what he says in the rest of this chapter we'll equally be exactly as he said that his prophecy is perfect that we he was right about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and he was going to be right concerning what he said concerning the end and this is very important this end Messiah emphasizes it beginning in verse 3 he's there not coming out of the temple but now on the Mount of Olives his disciples come to him and ask him about when will these things be what is the sign of your coming and when will the end be very important questions and then he says don't expect the end immediately certain things have to happen and in verses six seven and eight he speaks about the birth pains these are events happenings like earthquakes in the plural famines in the plural pestilence or plagues in the plural Wars and conflict between different ethnic groups all of this is going to bring about great instability and it's going to be the Antichrist that solves it he is going to bring about a time of peace prosperity security and who's going to be the one that says his leadership is ungodly his rules his ways even though there's prosperity and security and such it's wrong it's against the things of God true believers and that's why beginning in verses 9 through 13 he speaks and hear this carefully he speaks about persecution and intense time of persecution of believers not the wrath of God but suffering because of his namesake in the same way the world hated his truth meeting Messiah Yeshua they are going to hate our stance for truth and we're going to be persecuted and then in verse 14 it speaks about that this gospel of the kingdom must be proclaimed to all nations as a testimony and then the end will come what end are we speaking about the end of the church age what brings about the end of the church age the answer is it is the rapture the Blessed hope and then Messiah speaks and remember this because it's going to be foundational for our primary text tonight from second Thessalonians he speaks about the abomination of desolation now that's mentioned in Daniel chapter 9 and verses 24 through 27 and that section read it carefully it speaks about daniel's 70th week those last seven years and we see that there's going to be an event called the abomination of desolation what is that well when you look in Daniel chapter 11 we see what that is that is the Antichrist going into the holy of Holy's Daniel tells us in chapter 11 and exalting himself raising himself up about above everything that is godly holy good and proclaiming himself to be God in demanding worship right after that event what do we know there's a change in verses 16 through 31 it speaks about Great Tribulation not the Great Tribulation but Great Tribulation and who's the recipient of that the Jewish people primarily there's an emphasis on those in Israel why well the Antichrist has done numerous things positive good seemingly to Israel and order that Israel would receive him but at the abomination of desolation when he says I am God worship me Israel's going to reject that and this is going to bring about the greatest time of persecution for the Jewish people ever even worse than the Holocaust and we see that in verses 16 through 31 the last part of that section verses 29 30 and 31 speaks of the second coming when Messiah returns to deliver Israel that they will look upon him read that carefully verses 29 30 and 31 they'll look upon the one who has been pierce they're gonna receive him and all the nations of the earth that that that receive him are going to be bless primarily Israel and then we are told to watch the fig tree now when we go to verses 32 and following verses 32 through 44 what's happening Messiah is no longer talking uniquely about the Jewish people but he's speaking to believers he did so in verses 2 through 14 and verse 15 as well but in verses 16 through 31 he speaks about Israel the Jewish people primarily in the Land of Israel but beginning in verse 32 he returns to speak directly to believers Jewish believers and Gentile believers and I want us to look now to get your Bible if you haven't already look carefully and I would encourage you to read all of chapter 24 but for the sake of time I want to begin in verse 36 Matthew 24 beginning with verse 36 notice what it says but concerning those days or literally that day and hour so very specifically concerning that day and hour he says concerning that day an hour no one knows now this word for not knowing is in the perfect remember that a very important grammatical construction it means that people haven't known about that day when it's going to happen what day what hour they haven't noted in the past they don't know it today at that time or today and they won't know it in the future until it does so concerning that day and that hour no one knows not the angels in heaven nor not not the angels in heaven except the father only now other manuscripts will also include the son but I'm looking at the Texas Receptus my opinion the best Greek manuscript that has been put together and remember that it's this one that I'm reading that is the underlying Greek text for the King James I'll say why that's important in a few minutes but look again it says concerning that day an hour no one has known knows or will know until it actually happens we can know it's near but we won't know the day or the hour not the angels of heaven except my father only verse 37 but as the days of Noah now I would underline that this is an important hermeneutical aid in deriving the right revelation understanding what Messiah is telling us here pay very close attention he says but as the days of Noah now what do we know about no know was told to build an ark because God was going to destruct or destroy bring destruction upon the earth no argument about that and this destruction this water judgment it is being used here as a typology for the wrath of God we see that the flood came destroyed the earth those who dwelt in it and then there was a new beginning with Noah and those who shared the faith of Noah primarily obviously his family so just as the days of Noah thus will be also the coming and this word remembered it isn't word Paro SIA some pronounce it parousia but para sein it's simply a word which means coming it can refer to the rapture it can refer to the second coming and it's use in other comings of different individuals so it means coming but in this sense it has a specific relevance for the last day study now the person who sent me that video on that video a well-known Bible teacher he was saying that this word parousia only has to do with the second coming this is false we're gonna see two examples of why it's false one of it is right here why well this is going to tell us that Messiah comes before and there'll be no confusion about it he comes before the wrath of God he also comes the second time after but the Blessed hope the rapture happens before it how can we be so sure well let's read carefully what what he says look again at verse 37 but just as the days of Noah thus will be also the coming of the Son of Man for just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking marrying and being given in marriage now what does that tell us eating drinking marrying and being given in marriage it tells us that things were pretty normal and things were normal before the flood and there going to be a degree of normalcy before God's wrath comes we see the parallel prior to God's wrath being poured out people are going to be eating drinking they're gonna be having weddings and such but this is before God's wrath so here we're talking about the rapture the Blessed hope why because when Messiah comes that Second Coming it's at the end of God's wrath and when you look about God's wrath and what it says for example in the trumpet judgments and especially in the bowl judgments in Revelation chapter 16 no way is people going to be eating and drinking and marrying and life's going to be normal everyone's gonna know that it's the time of God's wrath how can I be so sure well when you look at the book of Revelation chapter 6 beginning in verse 12 through the rest of this chapter there is the eminency in God's judgment the wrath of the land coming and people say hide us fall upon us and conceal us from the wrath of the Lamb when we look at what the book of Revelation says is going to be happening at the time of God's wrath these bold judgments especially it's not going to be normal time so this is insightful when we look at the scripture we find that prior to the rapture things in the world are going to be fairly normal people eating drinking marrying being given in marriage things are normal just like they were until when well let's keep reading look if you would to the second part of verse 38 they were doing these things a degree of normalcy until that day which Noah entered into the ark and here's the key and they did not know who didn't the ones that belong to the world know anew because God told them we carefully the book of Genesis God said to Noah get in the ark I'll close the door because in seven days it's going to begin the rain is gonna happen the flood is coming so they knew Noah's family but those on the outside did not know so in no way can this be speaking about this second coming at the time of the second coming it's going to be at the end of that period of God's wrath being poured out people won't be giving in marriage they're not going to be going out to dinner it is going to be the most troublesome time to read Revelation chapter eight and nine read Revelation chapter 16 it's not going to be normal it's going to be highly unusual with these cosmic heavenly judgments that have never happened before it's a unique time so this is why we know parousia here is speaking about not the second coming but the Blessed hope and the rapture so notice what he says second part of verse 38 until the day which Noah entered into the ark they did not know until it since the flood came and noticed this and all were lifted now this is important because there are those who want to pervert this text and say oh this has nothing to do with the rapture this has to do with God wiping out taking away individuals with his breath and those who are left are those who survive and enter into the kingdom that is a raw understanding why well I asked people and here again these things have have I taught for years and not just taught but I've had very in love most of the time in love friendly debates arguments that can get very intense but it's not about being right it's about knowing what the Word of God has said and this word here for being lifted up now some will say take it away they'll have different interpretations of it if I ask people what's that Greek word and the most people who have the strongest opinion they don't know they have not learned Greek they have not studied they had not gone through very carefully all of this see when I read you this I'm not looking at English I'm looking at Greek and I'm acquainted with these words and the word here for literally being lifted up is a word arrow it has to do with being lifted up and oftentimes removed from where you were so it's not a word of judgment in this case it is and we'll see why I say that in a moment look again they did not know that's those of the world until the flood came and all were lifted thus also will be the parousia the coming of the Son of Man now why am I so sure here they that are lifted up see if you look at the modern Hebrew they translate a word here that it is very very different it means being swept away and destroyed this is wrong notice the context here verse 40 then two will be in the field and one will be taken from now this means the word here for taking can be received as well l'm bono this is para l'm bono and it has a context here of being removed and taken to it is a receiving it is a good thing and one will be left left for what left to experience God's wrath just like Noah and his family entered into the ark the rain came and moved them they were not the recipients of that flood they found safety and they were removed from that judgment this is what it's saying here then two will be in the field and one will be removed from or taken or recede from and the other left look now at verse 41 and two will be grinding this is in the feminine two will be grinding at the mill one will be taken and one will be left being taken is good because this is speaking of what speaking of the rapture the problem is this it is in conflict if this other brother is correct and we have no we have just one event at the end this is speaking about judgment wrath so if it's the believer being left and the wicked one being taken away destroyed the problem is this if we're left what about this being taken up that we see other places so it's only when we look at all the scripture indicators there is a time coming when God is going to remove the people this is that word we talked about last time our pazzo being removed from snatched away received so this tells us very clearly two things one parousia could be the second coming but it can also be referring to the rapture in this case this tells us that that's gonna happen prior to the wrath of God coming that there will not be any evidence of God's wrath until after the rapture happens which is what we are told in that all-important verse 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 and verse 9 move now to verse 42 what are we supposed to do verse 42 therefore watch now this word can be watch prayerfully as it's used again in Matthew 26 for the disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane when Yeshua told them to watch and pray so we're supposed to be watching we're supposed to have discernment and I'll share with you exactly what we're supposed to be watching in a moment therefore watch why you do not know and this is that same perfect we haven't known in the past we don't know in the present and we won't know until it happens there will be indicators that it's near but we will not know the day or the hour as it says here because you do not know at what hour your Lord will come so it's very clear that it's mentioned here - believers we're the ones who are going to be received take it up as it says in verse 39 being taken up in a positive way now what I'd like to do at this time I want us to go to a key passage of Scripture and that is 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 here again this individual that has this video that says the the revealing of the lawless one before the second coming he equally is confused about this passage and says it is about the second coming it is not and we can prove it so look with me to 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 now I've done a two-hour teaching about the rapture that you can purchase and stream and it's available on our website but I'm doing more or less the same thing for free right now because I felt it was important to get this message out with all the questions I was receiving and notice what it says it says but we beseech you that is a term of strong request but those that first word it is the Greek word day which implies a change a a transition of subject in first Thessalonians chapter 1 we see that there was Paul was speaking about the day of the Lord but now he's talking about that's why we have that that particle that tells us there's a a transition there is something in contrast to what he was speaking about and now he's going to speak about the Blessed hope not the second coming and the reason why we know this is because of some scriptural indicators see it's very problematic to me when people they turn to the Greek to seemingly support their their point but ignore all the other things that the Greek reveals and they make statements such as 5 times parasya appears in the Bible and it speaks about the second coming not true not true at all there's many times we see this word being used for a different purpose and a few times where it's being spoken of as we'll see here in regard to regard to our Blessed hope so chapter 2 2nd Thessalonians 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 1 now I want to go through this because we've been going for about a half an hour I want to go through this succinctly but in a way that we hit the main points so he says but we beseech you brethren what does that tell us he's speaking to believers and the Blessed hope is for believers only we beseech you brethren and behalf in regard to the word here's who care in behalf of the coming of our Lord Messiah Yeshua Jesus Christ now that same word parousia appears here and our friend would have us to believe it's about the second coming it is not how can it be so sure well he dealt with the Greek with this word parousia but he didn't deal properly with this next phrase and this is a word epi soon a bogus now the reason why this is important because this is gathering together but notice it's the word where we get the English word synagogue the word synagogue means to come together but it has a prefix on it epi epi is unto and then we see that same word being used after our gathering together unto unto it repeats twice that's for the purpose of emphasis so he's telling us here that we are going to be gathered together unto unto Him so it's not him coming the second coming to us but it's us being gathered together unto unto Him and we're gonna see that he's very specific about what event he's speaking about verse verse two we read here for do not you shall not be quickly shaken from your nose that is your mindset your frame of mind your perspective now what is the issue this video had partially correct we're dealing with a time when this congregation was confused they were panicking and be cause of the troubles and times they were having they were losing their perspective they were forgetting what Paul taught them some were not working they figured that it's the end now there was also a concern that they had missed out on something now if the issue was the second coming it's ridiculous this individuals view why well if the rapture and the second coming is one event and it happens at the end of this this period of tribulation of the wrath of God you're not going to need people to tell you the day of the Lord is at hand there are knowable signs concerning the day of the Lord it's a time of God pouring out his wrath in the same way that that the flood demonstrated God's anger with humanity it was known never had there been a flood like this it killed everyone but eight people and those animals that God providentially brought into the ark in that same way if it comes at the end of the seven years which is a false teaching we would simply be told hey the wrath of God is what you're gonna see horrible things just set still because you're gonna see the wrath of God he never says that he never says of course you didn't miss out on the rapture because it's at the very end it's after at the end of the day of the Lord when the wrath of God is coming to a conclusion he doesn't say that what does he say well here again let's be very exact we beseech you brethren in behalf of the coming of our Lord Messiah Shula and our gathering together unto unto Him that you should not be quickly quickly shaken from your perspective nor troubled troubled by what not by a a spiritual manifestation doesn't matter and we know something if you read Revelation chapter 13 it speaks of the Antichrist and it says that he's going to do all types of signs and wonders lying wonders we'll see this in a moment as well in this section so don't be soon shaken don't be troubled by spiritual manifestations nor he says by by word some Proclamation maybe some false prophecy nor by an epistle that purportedly is from us as and here's the key now I mentioned that I'm looking at the Texas Receptus and this is important it says new covenant on it but it's the Texas Receptus version of the Greek New Covenant and the reason why I'm emphasizing this is for this reason if you look at the King James it speaks about the day of Christ if you look at most English other English translations it will say the day of the Lord but it's literally the day of Christ now let's get this right it is ridiculous to tell people hey by the way you haven't missed out on the day of the Lord I want to miss out on the day of the Lord and I know they knew that the day of the Lord had not yet come why because of those horrible things are to be happening in the same way that people didn't wouldn't say you know what I think the flood came and I missed out on that flood III didn't see I was somewhere else no everyone doesn't matter if you're ready that you were aware of it if you were not Noah and his family in that art you experienced that flood and in the same way if you're not a believer you will experience and you will know the power and the anger the Lord in that day of the Lord so it is ridiculous for people to translate this as the day of the Lord that shows an ignorance it is because some of the scribes that wrote down they weren't familiar they were indeed ignorant not the author the Apostle Paul he wrote the day of Messiah what is the day of Messiah well it is the day referring to messiahs faithfulness to believers it is a synonym for the rapture the Blessed hope and let me give you some citations if you go to that two-hour presentation you can hear more about the day of Messiah but you can read about it in first Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 8 2nd Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 14 Philippians chapter 1 verse 6 Philippians chapter 1 verse 10 and Philippians chapter 2 and verse 16 there are here 5 6 places including here where the day of Messiah is spoken about in the New Testament do you realize that there's only one place where the phrase the day of the Lord appears in the New Covenant but 6 times the day of Messiah sometimes it's the day of our Lord Messiah sometimes it's a day of Yeshua the Messiah but it's always speaking about Yeshua the Messiah the day of Christ when he is going to remove us that he is going to snatch us away that he is not going to have us experience the wrath of God so he writes here very carefully and specifically he says do not be shaken from your perspective and do not be quickly troubled because of some spiritual manifestation because of some word or because of an epistle that is purportedly written by us as the day of Christ has what has stood meaning has taken place that it's happen and you've missed out he's saying that has not happened that day did not why well now he gets very specific look if you would to verse three he says here do not let anyone deceive you by any means and that's a pretty strong statement there's going to be much deception but he says here don't allow anyone to deceive you by any means because he says unless the apostasy shall come first and the man of sin revealed who is the son of prediction or destruction now what's he saying very clearly the word here is apostasy in the Greek apostasy Thea it is use let me give you a text acts 21 verse 21 this is where Paul is excuse is accused of heresy departing from the Torah notice that it is a departure but it's not a departure referring to the rapture as some false teachers have said but it is a departure from truth it is a heresy check out the context and acts 21 21 and also in Matthew chapter 5 when Messiah speaks about divorce and that document he uses the same word why it's a departing from that which is good marriage into something that's not good that's the apostasy the rapture Our Blessed hope is a departure from something bad this corrupt world into the kingdom of heaven to be with Messiah it's a good departure so this word apostasy it speaks about a departure from truth that is going to plague the church and that's why for example John and in first John speaks about the Antichrist and he says speaking about this heresy this great falling away he says there's gonna be many they go out from us from the church and they go out from us because they were not of us if they belong to us meaning if they were true believers they would not depart but they departed to show that they were never of us who do they belong to the false messiah the antichrist so this scripture tells us that before the rapture happens that there's going to be an apostasy the church is going to have great false teaching and this is going to lay the foundation it must happen first in order that the man of sin that's the Antichrist be revealed it's this apostasy that causes the Antichrist to be revealed who is the son of perdition we see a parallel the man of sin he's going to be the son of destruction and he is going to do something he is going to oppose and exalt himself over all that is called of God so we see his defiance that's why he's a man of sin a man of of disobedience because he's going to exalt himself opposing all that's called of God or that's worship so that he is going to sit as God in the temple of God now that word temple is now so it doesn't mean the temple but the sanctuary referring to the Holy of Holies this is what we learn in the Book of Daniel and that is that the Antichrist is going to go into the Holy of Holies and he remember what I said Daniel chapter 11 believe verse 35 or first 36 it says that he is going to exalt himself oppose things exalt himself above everything that's of God or called godly so that he sits in that holy place and this is the abomination of desolation the Antichrist going into the temple and proclaiming that he is God my friend this is the last event that the church is going to see why well if we would go back to Matthew 24 he speaks about these birth pains then he says believers are going to go through much trouble much persecution much hardship for his name but the end is not yet first that gospel has to be proclaimed to all nations as a testimony unto them and then the end will come and he says when you see and here's the end when you see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place in that sanctuary then let the reader know what to know that's when the end is going to happen and that's when the raptures go to take place immediately thereafter is it a few moments a few hours a few days no one knows no one knows as we talked about the day or the hour but when we see that we'll note that it's near this is what he's saying so look again it says the day of Christ will not happen unless the apostasy takes place first and the man of sin is revealed the son of prediction perdition that is destruction the one who opposes and exalts himself above all that's called of God and is worshiped so that he in the sanctuary of God as God sits and manifests himself that He is God that's the abomination of desolation that happens before the rapture immediately before now look at verse 5 do you not remember that while I was still being with you these things I was saying to you verse 6 now we get to a very interesting scripture and this passage of Scripture is oftentimes put as kind of the the trump card for a a pre-tribulational rapture saying that it happens prior to those last seven years well here's what they say pay very close attention to it verse six we read and then the law this one this lawless one it is the word know most literally ah know most animals ah means against know most is the law the Torah very interesting that the Antichrist is called the one who is against the Torah why the Torah is not a means to righteousness only faith in Messiah does that but the Torah defines what is righteousness it is a standard a lens so to speak that we can discern what is right and what is wrong through the commandments of God so here we are told then the lawless one will be revealed who the Lord will destroy let's go back up to verse 6 I jumped ahead he says you remember what I was what I told you when I was still with you verse 6 and now he says the one who restraints this is important work look again verse 6 and now the one who restraints now did you know that this one who restraints when we look at it grammatically it's in the neuter and Hebrew we have masculine and feminine but in Greek we have masculine feminine and neuter this is the neuter the word Panama as in the Holy Spirit for Noah's Spirit is in the neuter not in the masculine not in the feminine but in the neuter so many will say that the one who restrains is the Holy Spirit that's fine but don't defy in equality the Holy Spirit in the church people will say that the Holy Spirit is removed the Holy Spirit I believe in the Trinity the Holy Spirit he is God therefore the Holy Spirit is omnipresent he cannot be removed from the world no more than God could be removed from the world that's not what this text says let's pay very close attention to it look again at verse 6 and now the one who restraints it's in the neuter he says you know for the revealing of him in his own time here's the problem most people put the comma in the wrong place how most people translate is this and now the one who restraints you know well who is it we cannot be sure it doesn't say we can maybe make an assumption but assumptions are very different dangerous to do know the you know is not in regard to the identity of the restraint and the restrainer is not the church that's what most people say that the church has to be removed because the church here is restraining the antichrists well the problem with that is the term church is ecclesia it is in the feminine this is neuter so it cannot be look again and now the one who restraints doesn't say you know who it is it says now the one who restraints you know why he's restraining that's what we know not who it is but why he restraints he does so for the revealing of him that is the Antichrist in its time verse verse 7 for the Antichrist he is going to bring and work with unrighteousness notice what it says in verse 7 for the mystery of lawlessness that's that same phrase that spirit that's against the Torah that is in opposition to the commandments that is and again Nomos is Torah nor most Greek Torah Hebrew it says and the mystery of an anti Torah character is already at work but only the one who restraints now there's a change this one who restrains is no longer given to us in the neuter but now in the masculine now this is even stronger evidence they're just not speaking of the church because once against the church is feminine what we have here in my opinion is a statement concerning the Holy Spirit and either God the Father or God the Son they restrain and they restrain the Antichrist not the church but God does an order to him to be revealed at the right time keep reading look again at verse verse 7 for the mystery of antique Torah behavior and thought is already at work only the one who restrains now until he be from the midst that's literally what it says until he be from the myths meaning he steps aside you cannot get from this term check it out in the Greek use a Gert good in a linear and pay attention to not just the translation they give but look at the nature of the words the literal meaning to word in Allah it means to be and all it says here is whoever is restraining it can't be dogmatic we're not told who this we're told and we know that his purpose is to restrain the Antichrist so that the Antichrist won't function in that unique way in the end times until God says it's the right season then he's going to what he's going to simply from the myths be removed from but it doesn't apply removing out of this world it simply means we could translate it in a simple way he steps aside he just moves away he's blocking and now he steps aside that's what the literal word means yet may sue UNITA then we read and then after this happens this stepping aside this this allowing the ceasing of restraining of the Antichrist then it says this anti Torah one this flawless one is going to be revealed notice this revealing is in the passive meaning it's only when this one steps aside then and only then will this anti Torah one this Antichrist be removed who the Lord will destroy with the spirit or the breath of his mouth and will utterly render powerless at the manifestation of his coming look at verse nine it says who's coming now we're talking about the coming of the Antichrist his coming is with the work of Satan and all power and signs and and false wonders so here again the Antichrist he is going to do many mighty signs wonders but they're all for the purpose of deceit that's his nature we'll see that in a moment so the coming of the Antichrist is with the work of Satan with all power and signs and false wonders and in all deception of what of unrighteousness for those who are perishing and why do they perish because instead of loving the truth they did not receive now we're coming to the end of our study and there's a person who I respect and he has a video a short part of a video I'm sure there's a whole lesson that you can see but but there's a video that he has saying no second chances after the rapture and he says the Bible teaches that if anyone is offered the gospel prior to the rapture and they rejected they cannot receive it afterwards and he gives the scripture that I don't believe supports that at all but here again you make the call you decide if you think that's the case I see no reason to believe that God would be a post and we're going to look at the scripture that he provides for this and we're gonna do it in context because I want to be fair and here again it's not an issue whether you agree with me or him you need to study and be thoroughly convinced and be faithful to what God puts in your heart I'm much more pleased with someone who says I listen to your message you caused me to really think and studied these things and I came to a different conclusion well you may be right I may be wrong I want you to walk in truth not walk in the doctrine that I believe but I truly believe that that I'm right in this regard look again this this revealing of the Antichrist is with all unrighteousness or deceit of unrighteousness in those that are perishing why because they did not love the truth and he points out that this is in the past they did not love the truth that's true but the word here is in the heirs and the heirs it can mean the past but there's numerous times when the heiress is used in the Greek New Testament that you cannot say it's about the past but rather about in its entirety in a whole way these individuals that are going to be perishing is because they utterly and totally rejected the truth of God they did not receive it and if they would have they would have been saved that's what it says for their salvation for them to be saved and because they utterly rejected it what's going to happen and here's this verse that he says on account of this because they utterly rejected God will send to them and here again your Bible probably says strong delusion not the word strong check it out and this is what bothers me people will come with hard teaching saying I'm right this is true and then they mistranslate a simple word it does not say with strong delusion it's the word the working it's a word for working in the same word that we see in first night when it says the revealing of the Antichrist and his coming is with the working of Satan it's the same word it's the working of and the work here's plainness which is an air what this is telling us is this when we are deceived when we make an air in rejecting that truth in its entirety we are opposed against them there's an outcome God will send the outcome of this working of the air why because they believe they made a choice they believed the lie now that does not mean that someone someone who who did not come to faith but now in these last days they are moved to do so by the way I think based upon this verse and others that when God's wrath begins to fall we don't see great spiritual awakening this same individual has a teaching on the 144,000 and there he says these hundred and forty-four thousands are going to bring the greatest spiritual awakening that the earth has ever known and when he said that everyone clap I would like that to be the case but when I look at the scripture I do not see I do not see anywhere that says a great spiritual awakening no I hear over and over three times in the book of Revelation it says they did not repent they would not repent from their evil deeds their murderous acts their sexual immorality their lies their idolatry they did not so we see no spiritual awakening in that great sense and this is what I confused in one of his lessons he says in those times many are not going to be saved they can't be saved he says because of this verse but then when he speaks about the hundred forty-four thousand it's the greatest spiritual waking ever I see conflict with that what does the scripture say look again verse eleven on account of this that they did not love the truth that they should be saved on account of this God will send the working of that air for them to believe a lie God is going them to be deceived by this air he's going to send the working of that air it's not that God sends this strong delusion to deceive people God is going to send the outcome aloud the outcome of their working the working out of this air that they made in order that they would believe the lie in order that they would all be judged and why are they being judged very simple because they did not believe the truth why didn't they believe the truth because they thought that's the key that's literally what it says it seemed good to them this what this on righteousness this term unrighteousness is the exact opposite of the character the Torah the Torah character is righteousness the spirit of the Antichrist is unrighteousness it wasn't that they couldn't be saved they didn't want to be saved they didn't like the truth of God they rejected the truth of God and when they rejected that truth it worked out it had an outcome that there was going to be the working of that air that causes them to perceive what God's up to and to perceive it incorrectly that's what err does it affects our ability to perceive things from God's perspective so make no make no mistake about what we find is there's going to be a time of intense persecution not the wrath of God upon believers but intense satanic persecution and then we can expect that the Antichrist to be revealed for him to do that abomination of desolation and soon thereafter there's going to be the end of the church age the rapture is going to happen we don't know the day of the hour and then they Antichrist because of Israel's rejection of of the Antichrist he is going to persecute Israel to the extent two thirds are going to die you said wait a second Israel's been sealed they've been sealed from the wrath of God but not from the persecution of the Antichrist two thirds of the Jewish people will be put to death but Messiah will return the second coming he will pour out his wrath he will destroy the Antichrist and those who belong to him because they did not believe the truth now the Word of God is very clear about these things and my hope is based upon this study the previous one the one concerning the 144,000 and the ones that gave us an overview of endtime truth in light of the coronavirus these four messages might lay a good foundation for you in furthering your understanding and knowledge of the last days for this was my objective I appreciate you watching and may God bless you as you strive to study and show yourselves approved by God until the next message Shalom from
