which magic kingdom rides will blow you away and which ones will leave you going hold up i waited an hour for this check out our official and completely honest rankings of all the magic kingdom rides here on dfb guide [Music] hey everybody it's aj for disney food blog among the four disney world theme parks magic kingdom has the most rides for you to experience ranging from dark rides thrill rides to rides that just kind of go in a circle a few times before they stop today we'll not only be looking at the pros and cons for each magic kingdom ride to help you measure which rides you need to be adding to your must-do list but we'll also be looking at which lands within the park have the best and worst rides available because we love ourselves a good head-to-head competition among friends before we get started remember that our overall ratings for each ride are completely subjective what might work for us won't necessarily work for you and vice versa that's why we have the pros cons list to see both angles from a more balanced perspective just like taking a walk or better yet ride in someone else's shoes so please keep your hands feet and legs inside the video at all times and enjoy the ride let's start this ride through adventure in adventureland now between the enchanted tiki room and cheeseburger spring rolls i'm a big fan of adventureland there are two i think you've got to write at least once in your life and one that i think you never have to write ever and you still won't feel like you're missing out on anything noteworthy let's see if you can guess which is which we're gonna start with jungle cruise please watch your head when you leave the boat and if you can't watch your head then watch your mouth this is a family atmosphere i've said the backside of water joke too many times lately so i had to throw out something different jungle cruise will take you on a gentle boat ride down the nile river and pass many animatronic animals and if you don't believe you're really on the nile then you're in denial you just love that one what really makes this ride stand out though are the cast member skippers driving your boat will you hear the same cheesy punny jokes again and again yes but each skipper also tends to deliver jokes differently or include their own here and there to help add variety and make each jungle cruise journey slightly different from the past pros on this ride best for those who love themselves a good old corny joke and it's an easygoing boat ride anyone can ride cons not best for those looking for real animals to cruise past which you can find on kilimanjaro safaris at disney's animal kingdom though skipper jokes can vary they can also become stale after a few ride-throughs as well and sometimes your skipper is just not going to be great so it really does depend on the cast member in charge overall though going to give this one a 7 out of 10 and it's a very popular ride number two in adventureland we've got magic carpets of aladdin something you're going to learn throughout the course of this video disney loves their aerial carousel-like rides and by ariel i mean up in the sky not like the little mermaid so this is a ride system that'll put you in a vehicle spin you around in the air for a minute or two and then land you safely back on ground and they make quite a few of these in disney cause all the kids can ride them even the tiniest of tiny tykes the magic carpets of aladdin is one of three aerial carousels in magic kingdom and to be frank it's the lesser of the three unless you give it the upper hand for the following two reasons one it's themed after aladdin and you get to fly in circles on a carpet so the theming may give this one points and two you might get spit on by a camel that's it that's the ride now you can decide for yourself whether it's worth whatever wait time it ends up having during your visit or if you'd rather skip it and grab a dollop over at aloha isle instead i know what i'd choose pros for this one best for those who've always wanted a ride aboard a magic carpet and it's a very easy going ride that you usually don't have to wait too terribly long for cons not the best for those who have already gone on dumbo or the astral orbiter it's literally the same thing only aladdin themed and it needs more genie overall five of ten okay time for pirates of the caribbean pirates of the caribbean takes you on a journey through treacherous scenes of swashbuckling thieving and bartering pirates you'll cruise past giant ships abandoned skeletons shady business deals inebriated pirates and is that the captain jack sparrow i see look over there and there and there this ride has so many audio animatronics that each time you ride you'll discover someone or something new the galavanting is all fun and games until someone's scared out of their pirate booties though this ride can be a bit scary for little ones so don't set sail until you know they'll be okay with the dark setting sudden small drop at the beginning some gunshots here and there and conniving pirates throughout this might be a good one to watch a pov on youtube ahead of time for just to test the waters pros here best for those who love animatronic heavy attractions and it's iconic it's one of those rides you feel like you've gotta ride when you're in magic kingdom because it's a classic this of course debuted over in disneyland it wasn't gonna come to disney world because the imagineers thought that people in florida were already close enough to the caribbean and they didn't need a pirate's ride but of course the guests thought otherwise cons on this one not best for those with little little ones that are easily frightened because it's dark loud sounds creepy figures a small drop and the queue isn't super exciting to wait in although it is nice and cool that's lovely overall though pirate's gonna get a 9 out of 10. time to head into frontierland frontierland might not have a lot of rides but the two it does have are mighty thrilling in fact some might call them rather mountainous the rides in frontierland are great for thrill seekers but if you're looking for rides more on the easy going side there might not be a whole lot going for you in this land unless you want to eat a pecos bill telltale in a cafe maybe and of course there is tom sawyer island which doesn't count in this video because it's not technically a ride but it is a nice attraction for those with little kids or who just want to chill anyway big thunder mountain railroad is first in this land and it's a haunted gold mine coaster minus the ghosts and things that go bump in the night that's haunted mansion territory and we'll be there in a second this coaster takes some sudden turns through a ghost town and a couple of caves too but for those who get a little shaken by those giant ride drops or upside down loops no need to fear this coaster might be thrilling and a little bit rough at times but it's a pretty accessible one for all riders over 40 inches tall pros on this one best for those who like thrills but might easily get motion sick on a coaster with loops and big drops and it has a completely different vibe when you ride at night which is really really cool it's great to watch the fireworks on this ride cons not best for those who don't want to wait in a sweltering queue line in the middle of the day this is a good one to get a lightning lane for early on and the back seat might be too rough for some kiddos and the front seat might be to chill for others now i will note on this one even though i said it doesn't induce a lot of motion sickness when my dad rode this when he was a little bit older he was definitely green in the face for a little while after this one so be prepared for that if you do get motion sickness easily or quickly because it is a rough herky-jerky kind of ride overall we're gonna give this one though a nine out of ten all right splash mountain is next of course on those hot summer days or hot orlando days in general a ride that promises to get you bathtub levels of soaked might sound really nice and refreshing splash mountain is the water ride in magic kingdom unless you count the tiny splashes over pirates of the caribbean which i don't but you might this log flume ride currently takes you through scenes inspired by the 1946 film song of the south but according to an announcement made by disney back in 2020 this ride will eventually be rethemed to princess and the frog but the timeline's still up in the air we'll make sure to keep you updated when we hear anything else about the change splash mountain starts out nice and easy going but don't let it catch you off guard you're in for a real thrill when that 47 degree log flume drop sneaks up on you though you might get even more soaked before the grand finale thanks to the smaller hills throughout the course of the ride if you don't want to get super wet be sure to request sitting in the back of the log instead of front pros on this one best for those who want to experience a ride that's worth the wait this ride lasts 10 minutes from start to finish which is one of the longer rides in disney world and there's an epic 47 degree log flume drop with a big splash cons not best for those who don't want to get soaked and animatronics are cute but you're almost guaranteed to see one or two not working or acting wonky during your ride through splash mountain for us nine out of ten all right heading over to tomorrowland so on one hand i absolutely love the attractions in tomorrowland because they tug on the heartstrings of my poor nostalgic heart on the other hand they can feel very dated for a land dedicated to futuristic technology and state-of-the-art experiences but whatever the case may be for you there's still a lot of experiences over here that'll take you to infinity and beyond also when tron light cycle run eventually opens up it's gonna be a game changer for not just tomorrowland but for magic kingdom period i can feel it but for now let's focus on what's available for you to ride in the not-so-distant future we're heading to buzz lightyear's space ranger spin are you ready to join forces with buzz lightyear and take down the evil emperor zerg you better be cause that guy's stealing batteries from innocent toys left and right we can't have that going on a magic kingdom buzz lightyear space ranger spin gives riders an infrared laser cannon for shooting targets and earning points all while riding along in a 360 degree spinning cruiser by the end of the ride you can see how well you did based on your end score but the main goal is to become galactic hero which should be your main goal every day but what else if you or someone in your group is a big video game fan this ride will make you feel like you're inside one but if you happen to get on a ride vehicle with a broken blaster which can happen sometimes since the technology is a bit dated the whole experience could wind up being pretty disappointing especially if you waited a long time for this one so pros on buzz lightyear best for those who enjoy competitive and immersive rides and it's a different ride every time because you never know how you're going to do and it's a fun cue with an animatronic buzz lightyear which is really cool cons not best for those who get motion sick easily although you can control how much you spin on this ride so if you ride with someone who's going to be kind and not spin you too much then you're gonna be okay and it tends to be the lesser of the shooting rides for someone compared to toy story mania over in disney's hollywood studios overall we're going to give buzz a 7 out of 10. now we're going into space mountain which bria and i have slightly differing views on it's her favorite and it's used to be my favorite and now i'm starting to really enjoy a couple of the other rides better so let's see what we need to say about this one space mountain is a steel indoor coaster through space so expect to be riding your rocket through the dark like 97.7 percent of the ride don't look up the actual percentage please we're just throwing up numbers in the dark because of all the pitch blackness of this ride you're gonna feel like you're going a lot faster than you actually are but in reality you're only reaching speeds of about 35 miles per hour there will be sudden small drops and jolt-worthy turns one time your stomach will probably flip upside down a little bit but there's no upside-down loop-de-loops it's too slow of a ride to play those kinds of tricks you'll have to hit up rock and roller coaster at disney's hollywood studios for that amount of thrill so pros on this one best for those looking to ride an iconic disney coaster that feels faster than it actually is and it does feel like you're zipping through space cons on this one not best for those who hate not being able to see what's in front of them aside from the stars and a few light tunnels the ride is pretty jet black and those light tunnels can sneak up on you if you don't like surprises and the new guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind has a lot of the same vibes so you might prefer the new coasters smooth sailing and rock and soundtrack over space mountain's rougher tracks also if you've ridden space mountain in disneyland it's such a superior experience to space mountain in disney world that you might kind of think the vibe here is a little rickety and passe and you wouldn't be wrong overall space mountain eight out of ten bria wants it to be a nine out of ten i'm gonna give it an eight out of ten okay time for tomorrowland speedway have you ever ridden around a go-kart track and thought to yourself wow i wish i had less control over my car that's basically what tomorrowland speedway accomplishes oh and you also get to suck up gasoline fumes through the whole thing that's the best part so tomorrowland speedway assigns you to a car and lets you take it for a spin around the track and if your kiddo loves all things cars and has a dream to drive their own then you of course want to make this a priority i have many many memories of using up every single fastpass i had on tomorrowland speedway when my son was you know three four five that those ages we basically rode tomorrowland speedway and that was it for years now if your group is made up of older kids and adults and no one really cares to deal with that strong gasoline smell while waiting in a pretty drab queue line i'd say this one's pretty skippable in my books pros on this one best for those with young kids who'd love to drive their own car and it's easygoing and way less stressful than go-karts although you might get some whiplash on this one cons not best for those who don't want to wait for a long time to ride around a controlled go-kart track and the queue line is boring and hot and smells like gasoline and it's just awful overall tomorrowland speedway bless its heart for being there for the car obsessed little kids but 5 out of 10. okay this next one is where bria and i differ yet again tomorrowland transit authority people mover the wedway my friends to me this is basically the quintessential tomorrowland ride it's a slow-moving tram it takes you around the perimeter of tomorrowland behind the scenes of buzz lightyear space ranger spin space mountain and the star traders gift shop it's kind of like kitschy touristy tour through a futuristic realm and if you're expecting something that competes with the thrills of space mountain or the immersiveness of space ranger spin you're not gonna find it here what you will find is a smooth sailing ride that is super relaxing that shows you some of walt's original ideas for epcot including his original progress city model which is incredible so pros on this one best for those who want to be part of its cult following come join us and it's an easy going ride that takes you all the way around tomorrowland and through some tunnels too and it's super relaxing and calm and cool and it's great cons not best for those looking for action-packed thrills okay iconic yes any cohesive storyline no maybe not pretty straightforward tram like ride but it's perfect now bria wants us to be an eight out of ten she is wrong this is a 10 out of 10. and we're headed next to astro orbiter the second aerial carousel of our list astral orbiter is one of those rides that's almost fun to reach it you'll have to take an elevator that lifts you above the people mover and drops you off on its rooftop from there you'll board a rocket ship ride vehicle and uh fly oops sorry quoting a different ride there but that's for a different video can the rockets be cramped yeah is this ride structure like any other aerial carousel ride also yes but if you're someone who's more of a thrill seeker and you've got to choose one of the three aerial carousels on property for whatever reason you may find yourself preferring this one more for its picturesque overlook of the magic kingdom it's really quite beautiful especially at night so pros on this one best for those looking for an easy going ride aerial carousel with the best view of the park cons not great for those who hate heights and there's not a lot going on here it spins that's pretty much it it's a relatively long line usually just a big time suck mostly we're gonna give them a 5 out of 10. okay hear ye hear ye we're riding two iconic rides over in liberty square next and they are starkly different from one another you won't find high speed thrills over in this historic section of the park but that doesn't mean your adrenaline won't be pumping during at least one of the rides over here truth is liberty square doesn't have a whole lot going on in general bless his heart but what it does offer can often wind up as one of guests favorite magic kingdom experiences ever and no i'm not talking about the hush puppies at columbia harbor house though i could easily talk your ear off about those too so let's head to haunted mansion welcome foolish mortals to the haunted mansion an omni mover dark ride that takes you down the hallways and into the rooms of a mansion filled with spooks spectres and spirits haunted mansion doesn't pull back on those creeptastic punches you'll come face to face with a murderous bride a floating clairvoyant a party filled with ghosts and ghosts alone and several other dark phantom-like scenes there are no jump scares in this ride well not really the kids could be frightened by the haunting presences lurking around every corner and sometimes there's a couple little jump scares like those little guys jumping up from behind the graves but those who love a stark contrast on a happy-go-lucky disney film day with the dreary dark images and eerie animatronics scattered throughout this mansion you might be ready to hurry back haunted mansion is available on genie plus and it's a pretty solid lightning lane option since the q can get pretty lengthy for this one by the afternoon you see a pattern here yet rides are usually at their busiest in that afternoon however you can also enter the main queue of this ride at the start or end of the day and more than likely still get on with a weight that won't send you to the grave pros on this one best for those who love dark rides along with some spooky scary action there's immersive storytelling in each room and of course it is one of those original rides developed by those og imagineers and walt himself of course was intimately associated with the haunted mansion in disneyland not the same but very similar cons not best for those with kids who scare easily i personally was too scared to ride this ride for a very long time when i was a kid and it also kind of gets interrupted by spirits often meaning the ride will pause and interrupt the flow of the story that usually means that they're helping someone with maybe mobility concerns get on and off the omni mover so you're never stuck for too long but it does happen pretty regularly overall though haunted mansion nine out of ten and sometimes all you need is a nice relaxing boat ride along the rivers of america and liberty square riverboat can do just that this steam powered paddle wheeler can hold a ton of guests at once maybe not really a ten i don't know but it has four decks with multiple seats on each level so no genie plus for this one now this is a nice gentle peaceful ride along the river with some unique park views along the way and if you're exhausted from navigating magic kingdom this is a great way to escape and take it easy for a bit but if you're still in the go go mode this ride is gonna be a time suck since the boat takes 17 minutes to wrap around the river so you may just be standing there like stressed out that you're not in line for the next big ride pros for this one best for those looking for a gentle ride along the river and a break from the magic kingdom crowds and it gives you great views of liberty square frontierland and tom sawyer island some of these views you will not get on any other attraction cons not best for those looking for a quick ride before hitting up a reservation or show since this is a 17-minute boat ride one of the longer rides in magic kingdom and nothing too terribly exciting is going on here it's pretty much just a boat ride so overall six out of ten moving on to fantasyland and the winner of the most rides packed into a single magic kingdom area fantasyland has 10 rides total some are going to hit you right in the fields while others might kind of drag after a while but what can be said about all of them is that kids could spend their entire day riding the rides in fantasyland without stepping foot in any other land of the park and still have a fun-filled jam-packed day they might even want to take a break in between rides and hit up the casey junior splash and soak station for a little cool down time and i wouldn't blame them all except three of the fantasyland rides are included with your genie plus purchase but are all of them worth making a lightning lane reservation for let's review we're gonna start with barnstormer featuring the great goofini anyone else feel like goofy and gonzo should be best friends or at least go on tour together with their death-defying stunts that go horribly yet beautifully wrong the great goofini is at it again flying his stunt plane straight through the barn whoopsies and now you are too thanks to the barnstormer junior coaster this is a great starter coaster for new riders who might be intimidated by the bigger stuff at first it's short it has a few sharpish turns and tickles your tummy just enough to make kids want to say let's go again let's go again and you will you will go many many times if the wait time is pushing over 20 minutes though you may want to hold off on jumping in line for this one for a bit the ride is really short like really short so waiting a long time to ride might feel kind of anticlimactic for a coaster that goes around a few corners and then you know ends this is the closest thing you're gonna get to kind of a coaster that you'd experience like a town fair it's better than that but close now you can make a genie plus reservation for this one if and only if you think it's gonna be worth it for you and your kids pros best for kids who need a solid introduction roller coaster my son definitely needed this one and it's themed around goofy and if you don't love goofy then who even are you cons not best for those who don't want to wait for a really short ride it's only a minute and a half q line isn't terrible but it's outdoors and can be pretty boring to wait in overall six out of ten on this one but if you're like a four-year-old it's probably like a 12 out of 10. and the last but certainly not least aerial carousel of this list is dumbo the flying elephant whether you're a fan of these ride systems or not dumbo is iconic it's truly one of those right of passage magic kingdom experiences honestly have you even been to magic kingdom if you haven't captured your picture in front of cinderella castle eaten a mickey ice cream bar and taken a spin on dumbo the flying elephant this ride is for kids of all ages and even has an interactive big top ten play area so the younger ones won't get bored waiting in a queue line before the ride honestly why do more rides not have this option it is brilliant i actually know kids who get called to go on the ride and they want to stay in the play area and not even go on the ride so yeah you can get a lightning lane for this one but if you don't it's so not the end of the world because big top tent is here to save the day and entertain your little ones much like all the aerial carousels you can adjust how high your elephant will soar during the course of the ride so if your kid wants to ease into going airborne they totally have control over that pros on this one best for those who want to experience an iconic disney world ride and it's an immersive cue for kids to play in while they wait cons not the best for those looking for high speed thrills and it can get very monotonous dumbo gets a 7 out of 10 mostly for nostalgia okay looking to celebrate your very merry on birthday mad tea party is an alice in wonderland themed ride but don't expect to see alice here or the white rabbit perhaps they're late for a very important date if you've ever been on a spinning teacup ride at your county fair this is basically the same thing but maybe a bit smoother with a better paint job depending on the fare out of all the rides in magic kingdom this one's the most prone to make people dizzy like real dizzy and this one definitely has opportunities for motion sickness yeah you can control how much or how little your teacup spins but even if you choose not to spin your cup whatsoever the platform underneath will still send you around and around and around so if you're prone to motion sickness you might want to skip this one this is also a ride i'd skip for lightning lane because the wait times for this one aren't horrible and if they are horrible well then come back later because they'll die down eventually pros best for those who don't want to wait forever and a day to get on a ride lines are usually pretty manageable unless it's a super busy day and you can control how much or how little your teacup spins cons definitely not the best for those who get motion sickness by the way fyi if you could spin in a teacup over and over and over when you were a little kid or even a young adult you may want to be careful when you get a little bit older just saying and it's a pretty basic ride no real animatronics although you do have timothy mouse no storyline just spins overall six out of ten now deep in the hundred acre wood you can ride in a honeypot through famous pooh bear scenes during many adventures of winnie the pooh this is just one of those feel-good dark rides where you get to join pooh and his friends during their most popular journeys if you grew up reading winnie the pooh books or watching the shows many of these scenes will look very familiar to you older kiddos might not be too thrilled to ride this one but tiny tikes will love the easy going atmosphere and colorful characters just watch out for those heffalumps and woozles that's a really weird section they're kind of freaky now winnie the pooh is not a bad one to jump in line for around the afternoon or to grab a lightning lane once you've got a few other rides under your belt because the wait times stay pretty even throughout the day you're probably looking at a 30 to 45 minute wait here the different interactive q elements help pass the time like finding the characters on the wall of honey but you're gonna want some germ-x on hand just trust me on that pros on this one it's best for those looking for a gentle dark ride with poo and friends fun ride vehicle mechanics to add variety to the experience i.e you can bounce along with tigger or float along during the rainstorm scene it's kind of cute cons this is not best for those who have kids that might freak out over the a lumps and woozles show scene and older kids might not be thrilled with this one it's not super exciting just pretty easy going also if you happen to be a mr toad fan this one will hurt overall gonna give poo an eight out of ten okay from london to neverland peter pan's flight is a timeless dark ride with a rather unique omni mover system instead of your ride vehicle being pulled along via track on the floor you're gonna soar through the air thanks to the track up above despite this being one of the oldest rides in the park it still racks up those sky-high wait times and as happy as i am to see this classic dark ride receive all the love it's also usually not worth the wait i hate to say it but it's true despite the really cute parts of the queue where you can watch tinkerbell flutter around the darling children's nursery those wait times can be atrocious and cramped especially since this ride sees frequent breakdowns meaning your weight might be even longer than you were expecting again love this ride love the characters and the overlook of london as you fly off into neverland do not love captain hook's voice at the end of the ride since it sounds nothing like him but that's beside the point but if you can try to get in line for this one at the very beginning of the day or end of the night i'd highly recommend that because those mid-afternoon weights are not for the faint of heart and if you purchase genie plus this is a great one to grab a lightning lane for earlier in the day rather than later on pros on peter pan best for those who want to soar through neverland in a high-flying pirate ship cute immersive queue where you can spot tinkerbell messing with the furniture cons not best for those who don't want to wait in a really long line for a super short ride and if you've ridden the version in disneyland you'll realize how badly this version needs an update overall eight out of ten all right true disney fans know the significance of the carousels in the disney parks back when walt disney's daughters were young he'd take them to griffith park in los angeles and watch them ride the merry-go-round that's when he started coming up with the idea of the happiest place that families could all ride rides together and the rest is history so even if you wind up skipping the prince charming regal carousel because it's just a giant merry-go-round only a bit fancier with better music and scenery you still gotta admit its existence in the parks means something and therefore prince charming regal carousel is a keeper so no lightning lane for this one so if you want to hit up this ride sometime in the afternoon go for it the weight to get on shouldn't be too long but that doesn't mean it won't be always double check before hopping into a queue so you don't wind up waiting lots longer than you should for a ride that won't be worth it pros this is best for those who want to ride a gentle ride behind cinderella castle and it's beautifully painted and there's a fun uppity soundtrack cons not the best for those looking for a ride with storytelling and animatronics that's basically your standard carousel but in magic kingdom so you paid a lot more to ride it overall six out of ten all right this is the place where a million diamonds shine and seven personable dwarfs will be ready to put you to work seven dwarf swine train is an outdoor family coaster that takes you through an indoor ride scene where you can see grumpy dopey doc happy bashful sneezy and sleepy hard at work okay mostly hard at work i'm still questioning how much dopey's really getting done around here keeping my eye on you too sleepy the mine cart you'll be riding in gently rocks back and forth as you weave your way around the track now word of warning this ride racks up the major wait times because it's such a popular family friendly coaster for everyone 38 inches and taller if this ride is a number one priority for you hit it up first thing in the morning or during the disney enchantment fireworks to help potentially cut down the wait time this is also a great one to ride during early entry you can also pay to bypass the main queue with the individual attraction selection feature on the my disney experience app pros best for those looking for a fun coaster that's great for kiddos and adults alike and a great gem mining scene with state-of-the-art dwarf animatronics cons not best for those who don't want to wait forever and a day to ride especially since the ride itself isn't too terribly long and it's not available as a lightning lane on genie plus you must pay per person to bypass the main queue through disney's individual attraction selections which can be a pain to pay extra for overall though this one gets an 8 out of 10. is the seaweed always greener in somebody else's lake let's ask ariel under the sea journey of the little mermaid is a dark omni omnimover ride for kids of all ages once you hop inside your clamshell mobile you'll get to re-experience disney's classic film the little mermaid from start to finish thanks to the audio animatronics epic soundtrack and seaworthy sets if you're discouraged by all the giant ride lines throughout the park under the sea is usually a good one to hit up since its line is normally around a 15 to 25 minute wait if it's longer then you know the magic kingdom is packed out on the day of your visit under the sea is available as a genie plus selection but don't waste a lightning lane for this one you should be able to get on quickly even in the afternoons one thing i will say about this even though those animatronics are impressive they also kind of freak me out i don't know the way ariel stares you down in the under the sea musical number scene is kind of unsettling would not want to meet her in a dark alley but even if i think this ride could use a little more tlc it's a great one for families to enjoy and sing along with together so pros best for those wanting to relive a thorough recap of the little mermaid movie and there's a great soundtrack to sing along to it is the little mermaid after all khan's not the best for those who might feel disappointed with how quick the ride jumps to the end and skips the climax of the story animatronics aren't always on their a-game either which can be unsettling if they're broken overall probably a seven out of ten okay now it's tricky to talk about the walt disney world railroad because it's been forever and a day since we've gotten to ride it and by forever i mean since late 2018 when it had to close during all the tron construction but when we could ride it way back when obviously i was only 10 years old the train was a nice little wraparound magic kingdom with a station not just in fantasyland but in main street usa and frontierland as well the disney world railroad's been a great way to get from one side of the park to another giving your feet a little break from all that walking plus it's another one of those walt disney staples after all walt loved his trains he even built his first ever railroad in his own backyard and that's dedication to the craft if you've got a passion for trains too don't worry the walt disney world railroad won't stay down for good we'll keep you updated on when disney decides to get it back up and running again hopefully it's soon because tron is making so much progress pros best if you're trying to get over to another section of the park without having to walk all the way there this is also a helpful tip if there's a parade because if you've ever been stuck behind a parade or on one side of parade and you want to get to the other side of the parade and you gotta wait for the whole parade then you know the pain of that and it's a walt disney classic that guy loved his trains so you best be respecting the walt cons not best if you've ridden the train in disneyland and are expecting tunnels and fun ride scenes and general awesomeness this is a pretty straightforward train ride and of course it's not open overall though the train when it is open 8 out of 10. now like a very wise boat ride once said there's so much that we share and it's time we're aware it's a small world after all that's right it's a small world is another one of those iconic disney rides that walt himself had a major hand in creating during the course of this happiest little cruise that ever sailed you'll float past hand-painted dolls and landscapes representing scenes from around the globe and showing how connected our planet really is the ride is cute and whimsical and usually has a short wait time so don't stress yourself out over securing a lightning lane for this little boat unless you have an it's a small world super fan in your midst plus it's another one of those fantasyland rides that all kids can ride but you will have that song stuck in your head for the rest of the day maybe even the rest of your life you've been warned pros best for those who want to ride all those classic disney world rides and even babies can ride this plus it's cutesy and colorful con's not best for those who don't want to have that song stuck in their head all day long and there's no real disney characters in this one like disneyland has overall probably going to give this a 6.5 or a 7 out of 10. all right hold on a second friends let's do a quick overview here magic kingdom wins when it comes to being the park with the most rides if you decide to purchase disney genie plus you're definitely going to find yourself getting the most bang for your buck here than at any of the other three parks this park also has the most kid-friendly rides a handful of these experiences don't have a height limit meaning the whole family can join in on the fun this is especially the case over in fantasyland which is the section that has the most rides in the park however if you're more of an intense thrill seeker the rides at magic kingdom might not scratch that adrenaline rush itch you're searching for your best bet is to hit up the magic kingdom mountains like splash mountain space mountain and big thunder mountain railroad so we've done it we've ranked all the magic kingdom rides be sure to let us know in the comments what your favorites are we can't wait to find out thanks for listening everyone and thanks for watching as always this is aj for disney food vlog
